Enough is enough

Chapter 10

Opening the door was like opening a portal to a new universe. From the vibrant life of the dance floor to silence of the room it was eerie. Usagi smiled as she ushered her friends into the pitch black gloom before shutting the door behind them. As soon as the door was shut the room lit up with lights along the walls and surfaces. It made the whole room appear as if glowing. Naru was the first to break out of the trance the two knights had placed them in. She frowned when taking a really good look at the room. Aside from the glowing walls there was nothing in the room.

Shingo seeing her frown smiled at her before speaking. "I know it doesn't look like much but this is for protection. To activate the rooms real functions you need to unleash a bit of your planet power into the air."

Saying this he decided to show them by example. He called on a small fraction of his chaos powers and let them leak into the room. A pale silver glow was seen before the room exploded into lights and sounds. Where before there was a bare room, was now a full underground command center. It was reminiscent of the command central on the naval ships. From one wall to another there were computers and lights that bore no earth symbols.

Watching Naru practically run to the first chair that bore her symbol was amusing. At her side Umino was only of a fraction of a second away from joining her in another chair when he spotted a glow coming from deeper into the room. Looking to Shingo for permission he followed the light to find a room larger than the dance floor above hiding behind a door with his planets symbol. He gaped in amazement as he spotted technology that before he was awakened he could only dream of.

Ignoring Usagi that had followed him he tinkered with the half finished ray that lay on the table. From what he could tell it was supposed to focus the natural energies from the universe to cleanse taint. Usagi giggled at her friend before quietly telling him to join the others when he was finished behind the door that held the symbol of Aminos. He absently nodded before continuing his tinkering and ignoring Usagi as she left.

Shingo was the first to reach the Aminos door and proceed inside. He already knew that Naru and Umino would be hours before they came back to reality. He smiled at the feeling of normalcy that this thought invoked. Walking deeper into the room he called for the lights to brighten showing the room for the first time. It was a large room filled with three other doors farther inside but the focal point was a high tech kitchen.

The kitchen was a mixture of purples from the darkest violet to a pale white purple. It held many different appliances. No human would be able to work due to the lack of high pysionic energy that each of the knights held. It was rare for others to even be able to access the Aminos' technology because of this. The only reason that others from their galaxy could was because of the integral radiation that spread upon the galaxy's creation. It soaked into the planets and the creatures that came from the planets themselves as well.

Walking further into the kitchen he opened the refrigerator already knowing that the other knights would be hungry once they emerged from their rooms. Taking out glowing green fruit and a few native earth foods he began to cook as he awaited the others.

Usagi walked into the main room once more checking the monitors for any youma activity. The screens showed various places around the country. From the left to the right the screens showed as far as Tokyo, China, and Korea. This was one of the reasons for the higher vigilant looks. They covered more than just one city. Sure most of the youma came to their city but not all of them were stupid enough to challenge the knights on their home turf.

Glancing from one screen to another she set the computer to scanning any radiation given off by beings not of earth. Just as she was about to go to her individual room she smelled something that had her mouth watering. Stepping away from the screens she followed the smell to the kitchen.

Inside she was unsurprised to see Naru and Umino already sitting at the table waiting to eat. From the look on their faces she could guess their thoughts. Smiling she sat across from Naru leaving the last chair for Shingo. He stepped away from the stove moments later carrying a hot pot with a special soup found on the chaos planet. He dishes out some of the soup to each of the knights already able to sense their hunger for something they could not name.

Naru was the first to taste the soup and almost cried as she was given visions of sharing the same soup with her family in the past. Umino got the flash of a group of knights sitting near a fire eating soup. To each of them it was a taste of home. Shingo smiled as he looked at his friends, at last, his family was coming together.

Usagi waited until everyone was finished before speaking a light frown on her face. "My fellow knights I have good news and bad news which would you hear first"

Naru snorted "Give us the bad news first so we have something to look forward to."

Usagi nodded, "We have to find the Saturn guardian and convince her to join us."

Umino spit out the water he was drinking, spraying Shingo in the face. "What? Why? Is she important Usagi?"

Usagi sighed her frown slipping into a smile "Yes she is very important She is a fellow knight the guardian of….
