Chapter Ten- Kim's Day
On a Wednesday, Kim is going to go spend time with Ron, as she hopes to catch up with him, and asked what his time in Japan was like. But the toughest part of it is that how is she going to break it to Josh.
'I hope Josh won't be jealous of me spending some time with Ron. Oh who am I kidding, it's not like Ron had any feelings for me.' Kim thought as she closed her locker as she saw Ms. Shego standing next to her locker.
"Hello, Red Head Buffoon." Shego greets as she startles Kim.
"Whoa!" Kim shouts in shock as she jumps back and clutches her chest. "H-Hello Ms. Shego." She greets as she attempts to control her breathing. "What can I do for you?"
"What are your intentions towards, Stoppable?" Shego questions as she narrows her eyes at the red head.
"I just want to catch up with all the years we've missed out, that's all Ms. Shego." Kim responds to the teacher.
"That's good to know, I thought you might've, you know..." Ms. Shego trailed off to see Kim's reaction.
Kim blushes and goes wide eyed. "What? No, no of course not. Ron has been my best friend since Pre-K and that's all he's been." Kim responds as she imagines what Ron's reaction would be if he was asked a similar question. 'Ron would probably just look confused.' She mentally giggles.
"Good, good." Shego comments as she walks off leaving Kim confused.
"Hey what was this all about!?" Kim demands in irritation.
As Ms. Shego into her own office, she notice that Yori was sitting on the chair as Ms. Shego sighs "Yori, what are you in here for?"
"I have just come to talk to you, Midori." Yori replied as she uses Shego's original name.
"I haven't been called Midori in a long time." Shego comments as she sits on her desk chair "So, what do you want to talk to me about, Yori?"
"Why did you leave the temple?" She asked the woman.
"Yori that's hard to explain." Shego comments as she takes a seat across from the young Japanese girl at her desk.
"Why is it hard to explain?" Yori questions as she hides her irritation with the older woman.
"When I first came to the school you were already five days old, and you had nobody else. Your father died on a mission five months earlier and your mother died after she gave birth to you." Shego answers as she takes a breath. "I always wanted a child and you needed a mother so I decided to take care of you, and that's what I did for three years before you said something that made me realize what I was doing."
"What did I say?" Yori asks as her heart is breaking at the thought that she pushed the woman who raised her for three years away.
"You called me okaasan." Shego answers as tears escapes her eyes. "It was then that I realized that I was being selfish for raising you as my own for being so happy when you called me your mother."
"How is that selfish? You raised me for three years?" Yori demands as tears appear in her eyes.
"Because I'm not your mother. I was just the woman who raised you, that doesn't make me your mother!" Shego yells before Yori throws herself at Yori and brings her into a hug.
"Oneesan." Yori whispers as she buries her face into Shego's shoulders.
"Oneesan? I can do that." Shego whispers back as she hugs the Japanese girl close.
Back at the dorms, Ron was preparing his time at the park with his long time friend Kim. "Okay, I'm wearing my belt this time, am I Rufus?"
"Mhmm, check." Rufus replied.
"Good, don't want to embarrass myself in front of KP." Ron replied "Besides, it's just a walk in the park."
The door knocks as Ron opens the door as he saw Kim wearing her normal attire "You ready to go, Ron?"
"Sure KP." Ron responds as he steps out of the room as he asked "You sure Josh wouldn't mind me hanging out with you?"
"Relax Ron, I've talked to Josh and he said he's okay with it." Kim reassured.
"Badical." Ron comments as they walk outside, and he leads Kim to his bike.
"Are you sure that this thing is safe?" Kim asks as she follows Ron and seats behind him and puts her arms around his stomach.
"The girls really seemed to like riding it, and I would put another person on my lady if I didn't trust her or think she wasn't safe." Ron answers as he starts the ignition.
"Where did you even get it?" Kim questions her best friend.
"My lady is a her not an it." Ron informs as he pulls out of his parking spot. "And to answer your question the school gave it to me."
'Just what kind of school gave Ron a motorbike?' Kim thought to herself as Ron start up the bike as they make their way to the park.
Watching them leave, Bonnie looks out to see them leave off 'After Kim, I'm dating the loser next.' She thought as she slumps onto the couch 'He better treat me right just like the rest of the girls.'
Ron and Kim made it to the Middleton memorial park, where Ron parked the bike at the parking lot.
"Wow, this place hasn't changed a bit." Ron states as he saw the sight of the grassy fields, the playground, snack bar, and the statue of Middleton's founder.
"Well, it's been improving thanks to those new park workers." Kim states as she saw two park workers, a tall guy wearing a blue hoodie and white pants, and long blue hair. Next to him is a short guy with brown hair, glasses, and wears a brown hoodie and black shorts. They are being yelled at by the park manager "Well, if they stop slacking much."
"I hear that." Ron replied "So, anything you want to do around the park?"
"I don't know, wanna go play on the monkey bars?" Kim asks Ron as she takes off running with Ron hot on her tail. They arrive at the monkey bars and Kim uses her cheerleading skills to jump onto the top of the bars as Ron stands below her. "Come on Ron. Don't tell me you're still scared of the monkey bars?"
Ron stares at his best friend before he turns and walks some distance making Kim think that he's leaving her when he staking off running at the bars and grabs a hold of a bar as he swings himself like a monkey and lands on top of the bars.
"The Ron-man ain't afraid of monkey bars." Ron boats as he looks to the ground. "Still not a big fan of height."
Kim looked baffled as she just witnessed Ron's gymnastic ability, which she just learned by now "Since when are you a...gymnast?"
Ron tries to give a good excuse as he respond "Oh you know, I've joined the Japanese gymnast team one time." he half-lied, the ninja training had him go undercover at a Japanese school to join the gymnast club in order to find a student with some monkey medallion.
"What was that like?" Kim questions as she puts her legs through the bars so they dangle. "And...why did you stop writing me?" She looks up with a hurt face. "That really hurt Ron."
Ron moves next to his best friend as he ponders on if he should tell Kim the truth. By all accords he was given the right to tell Kim if he wanted to, but the question is does he want to tell his best friends that he has Mystic Monkey Powers.
'Oh yeah that would go well. Hey KP I have Mystic Monkey Powers. Oh that's nice Ron. Hurry somebody call a doctor my friend has gone crazy.' Ron hangs his head as he weighs his options. 'That is what will most likely happen, but KP deserves to know.' "Do you really wanna know Kim?" The blond asks his friend.
"Yes Ron." Kim answers as she smiles at her friend. "I really want to know."
"Until now I wasn't permitted to tell you, but you need to understand that what I tell you stays between me, Yori, Tara, Hope, Zita, Ms. Shego, and now yourself." Ron states as Kim's eyes narrow in anger.
"They all know before me?" Kim questions as she feels like slapping Ron off of the monkey bars. "I thought I was your best friend!?"
"You are Kim it's just that Shego knew she just didn't know it yet, Yori always knew, and Tara, Hope and Zita followed Yori and myself to our safe house and saw us." Ron explains in hopes of extinguishing the red head's feisty personality.
"Explain." Kim orders.
"I'm the ninja that you've seen. I went to Japan, and I went to a secret ninja school, and Kim you cannot tell anybody. I have enemies." Ron explains as Kim gives him a disbelieving look so he decides to show her his powers.
Ron concentrates by pointing an old, dying tree in the middle of the grassy field, as he got off of the monkey bars as he went straight to it as he flicks the tree, causing the tree to start to regrow into a healthy sakura tree, which shocked Kim as she just witnessed her best friend just rejuvenate a old tree into a healthy big tree.
"But- that's scientifically impossible." Kim states as she looked at the tree.
"Well it's not science, but it is magic." Ron states to his best friend.
"R-Ron I-I-I don't bel-lieve in magic-c." Kim comments as she feels her grip on reality slipping.
Ron sensing this walks over to his best friend and places a hand on her shoulder to calm her. "Then believe in me, and believe in my powers."
Kim looks up at Ron as she feels his powers flowing through her body, but she is strangely okay with it. "What are you doing?"
"Calming you with my powers." Ron explains as he eyes flash blue for two seconds. "Answer your phone." He comments as Kim looks confused until her cell phone goes off and he shoves her hand into her pocket and sees that her mom is calling. "Can you talk or are you still out of it?"
Kim hands Ron her phone as she takes a seat on the ground and takes deep breaths.
"Hello Kim Possible's phone, Ron Stoppable speaking." Ron greets as all he hears is silence.
"Ronald? Is that really you?" Mrs. Possible questions as her daughter hadn't mentioned Ron being back in Middleton.
"Hey Ms. P." Ron replied through the phone "I'm just hanging out with KP."
"Oh my god it's really you, Ronald! I can't believe that you're back from Japan! Wait until the twins hear about this." Mrs. Possible comments as she sounds happy to hear Ron again.
"Yeah, can't wait to see you, the twins, and Mr. P again." Ron states as the last part cause a minute of silence from Mrs. Possible, as well as Kim "Mrs. Dr. P, you're there?"
"Oh, sorry Ron, it's just that I was silent for a while when you've mentioned James." Mrs. Possible replied.
"What do you mean, Mrs. P?" Ron asked her.
"Ronald, James died 4 years ago in a lab explosion." Anna told him as her voice wavers.
"W-What? When did this happen?" Ron asked her. He remembers how the Possible family treat him like their own son, especially Dr. James Possible. The man became Ron's second father figure and looks up to him.
"He was working on some experiment for some client. I don't know the details, or who that client is, but I heard someone sabotage the experiment which causes a lab explosion." Anna told him as she holds the sadness in her voice "They didn't find the body, so it was assumed that the flames must've engulfed him."
"I'm...sorry about that, Mrs. Possible." Ron told her calmly "Maybe I should go and visit you and the twins once in a while?"
"I was calling to tell Kim to come over tonight for dinner why don't you come?" Anna comments as the undertone of her voice tells Ron that he doesn't have a choice, and that makes him smile.
"I would love to Dr. P, but I was wondering if I could bring a friend with me. I would like her to meet you guys." Ron responds as he smiles over the phone.
"Of course Ronald. Who is this girl?" Anna inquires as she grows in interest with this girl.
"You'll see." Ron replies. "I'll tell Kim, and call my friend and pick her up."
"Thank you Ron. We love to see you again, and your friend." Anna comments as she says her goodbyes and gangs up.

Ron called in Yori to invite her with him and Kim. Kim was surprised that Yori made it next to the Possible family's house once they road there.
"Yori, how did you find the place?" Kim inquires.
"Tara gave me the address, Kim-san." Yori replied, though in truth she already knew where Kim lived, in fact she has all the information to where every student has lived. Rule #34 of being a ninja: always be observant to your peers.
"Right. Well then let's go inside." Kim states as she moves to open the door, but for Ron to stop her.
"No wait. Let me do this." Rom comments as he smiles like a deviant.
Kim smiles and stands aside as Ron knocks on the Possible's door. After a minute wait Anna Possible opens the door to see a tall blond male at her door.
"Can I help you?" Anna questions the male.
"Hey Dr. P. It's me Ron." Ron states as he rushes to catch Anna as she faints. "Dr. P!" He shouts that earns the attention of the Jim and Tim as they rush down to see Rom holding their mother.
"Ron is..." Jim starts.
"...that you?" Tim finishes.
"Oh, what's up, Jim and Tim?" Ron replied as he sets Anna down on the couch with Yori's help.
"Wow Ron, you look..." Jim starts.
"...So cool!" Tim finishes "So are you like a ninja or something?" They both asked which makes Ron and Yori nervous.
"No no, definitely not a ninja." Ron told them as Anna woke up and got a good look at Ron.
"R-Ronald?" Anna states as her eyes open and her blue eyes meet Ron's chocolate browns.
"Hey Dr. P." Ron greets again. "Yeah it's me."
"My lord boy! What happened to you?" Anna inquires before she looks past Ron to see Yori. "Oooh I see. All of this." She starts feeling Ron's bicepts. "Are for that girl."
Ron blushes as he smiles at Anna. "Well it was originaly for Yori, but now there are other girls. I already took four girls out on dates." Ron's smile turns into a frown when he notices Anna's stern look.
"Ronald are you taking advantage of these girls, and breaking their hearts?" Anna coldly questions.
"What! No, they've all asked me out in turns, tell her KP." Ron asked his red haired friend.
"It's true, mom, Monique, Tara Zita, and Hope, have been going out on dates with Ron and are aware." Kim states as she adds "Even Bonnie asked him out."
"So Ronald became the next Bruce Wayne I see?" Anna compliments 'Plus he's not half bad in the eyes.'
"Hehe, I'm nothing like Bruce Wayne, ma'am." Ron told her as he rubs the back of his neck "Though, I hear that my cousin from California has like tons of girlfriends in college."
"Well why don't we all come to the kitchen and have dinner. I've made pasta tonight." Anna states as she leads them to the kitchen.
"I love your pasta Dr. P." Ron comments as he runs his belly which makes Yori giggle.
"I am honored to be here Possible-Sama." Yori states as she bows to Anna which makes the older Possible smile.
"And I'm happy to meet one of Ron's girlfriends." Anna replies which makes both Ron and Yori blush heavily.
"I am not Ron-Kun's girlfriend Possible-Sama. He still has a date with Bonnie-San and then he will make his decision on which he chooses." Yori replies as Ron's eyes widen at her words. 'I hope he picks me. I will even share if I can be with Ron-Kun.'
'Yori's right I need to make a decision. How can I do that without breaking anybody's hearts? Without a doubt I love Yori, but I also care deeply, not love and yet it could some day.' Ron thinks as he shares a look with Anna. 'I need to talk with Dr. Possible, Ms. Shego, and my cousin.'
"Say, maybe we can get dates and have girlfriends, too." Jim suggested.
"Yeah, like the Ron-man." Tim replied which Kim almost choked on her lemonade.
'Ron, you're a horrible influence.' Kim and Anna thought together as they gave the twins stern looks.
"No you will have one girlfriend like normal kids. Ron and his cousin are acceptations to the case...well because they are not normal." Anna scolds her two sons before she turns to her third one. "And you stop being a bad influence."
"Hehe sorry. I'll try to be a better influence on Jim and Tim." Ron responds as he runs the back of his neck.

"How's the progress, son?" Monkey Fisk asked the hooded figure through the television screen.
"Stoppable is undefeated as always." The hooded figure replied to his father "I even tried to used one of the girls he dated, but he still manage to get the upper hand."
Fukushima scoffs "Obviously you're not making anything quicker! That yokai summoning lamp you've been using is crap!"
"Hey, do you know how much this lamp was? Got it from some pawn shop from San Francisco by some old man carrying a blowfish around to 'weed out evil spirits.'" The hooded figure snarks as he grew irritate by Fukushima's arrogance.
"You should be handling this more direct!" Monkey Fist roars.
"I'm trying father, but Stoppable is proving to be unstoppable." The hooded man responds to his father. "I still have some tricks up my sleeves."
Wow things are sure getting interesting now aren't they? James Possible is dead, Fukushima is going to Middelton Academy now.
