KUROKO NO BASUKE MARRIAGE PROSPECTS
.x.
Disclaimer: I don't own the characters of Kuroko no Basuke, they belong to Tadatoshi Fujimaki. The idea and format of the original marriage prospect story is courtesy of soybean but I was introduced into it by dreams of destiny.
The one who types: As much as I love Kuroko and the other characters dating each other, that won't be happening here. All shall be canon. If you want a certain character then do tell and I'll try my best to do it. Feedbacks are welcome because... I have never written anything like this and I just got back to writing again.

Takao Kazunari
Appearance: His straight black hair is short in the back but quite long in the front as tendrils of straight onyx locks falls over his narrow icy blue eyes; eyes that are sometimes mistaken as orange—a fact that should be taken as a compliment because orange eyes are unique. Hence, it makes Takao look unique-er. Also, Takao pulls off a headband fabulously as seen in training pointing to the fact that he's manly. Fashionably manly (–a phrase that can only be used when a guy pulls off girly things and still looks hot).
Clothing: Let's make a list of what we have and what we want. We all know he wears a jersey with the number '10', he also has the (ugly) orange Shutoku jacket and pants (that he pulls off because his hair doesn't clash with the orange), wears a plain coloured tee and a pure black uniform reminiscent of all male uniforms. What we want on the other hand is to see him in a tie—on its own or with a suit, your choice. A yukata or in a towel wrapped around his waist are also very desired by everyone. We accept photos.
Intelligence: He's not dumb if that's what you're wondering. However he won't be topping the class either. He's more likely the type of person who studies enough to pass in an acceptable grade but not study hard enough to be the top of the class. After all, he's all about enjoying life and studying is not something one does for fun (we don't, anyway). Nevertheless, he could probably give you a run for your money if you two ever start a debate about philosophy because he would have a lot of views about things. That is, if he can be bothered. No economic triple dip recession or cell engineering conversations here. Try someone else.
Personality/Socializing: He is very nice. Very very nice. And friendly. Really friendly. In fact he's so friendly that there's a possibility that you might be friend-zoned for a long time. He gets along with everyone, even their opponents (See: Seirin) and he's quite close to Midorima. This shows that he is also very patient. Your beau has a positive and sunny disposition that makes one relax regardless of the tension in the room. He genuinely enjoys playing basketball and other activities that he does—this shows that he is optimistic. He doesn't care about crushing or mentally scarring his opponents so you're safe if you two get in a lovers' quarrel; something that may occur often if you're uptight or likes paying attention to details because it could clash with his easy-going nature.
Finances: He's a great basketball player who managed to accomplish what few players have (yes, including the Generation of Miracles); namely, keeping track of Kuroko—a task that everyone knows is very difficult. Now if he doesn't go with playing basketball for a living, a very likely event because he plays for fun, then he'll still have a stable, well-paying job. He doesn't have any weird hobby or collection either so you won't have to worry about going broke because of him. You won't be homeless but don't expect a mansion! You are going to have to work. Don't worry, that just makes the two of you an average married couple like the majority of everyone in the married couple population.
Home Economics: It's questionable if he can cook but he probably can. He strikes us as a person who can cook well, albeit quite simple dishes. He won't be very messy either; he's not a typical male! He's Takao Kazunari, of course he's not messy. He won't be OCD-clean though. It's also known that he's good with children so if you two have kids, you have a husband who is already terrific at being a dad. If you're not very good with kids then you should probably try to babysit others' children just so yours won't hate you and always prefer your hubby over you. Don't worry! Just smile and give them sweets.
Combat: Let's point out the hawk's eye that gives great perspective over possibly-thugs' positions. This means he can find escape routes easily; you won't have to worry about being caught in the middle. If escape is not an option then Takao would likely stay and face opponents head on to ensure your safety and successful escape. Unless you like picking fights with random people, you two won't get into violent situations because as mentioned earlier, your hubby's very easy-going. He won't be throwing punches if someone bumps into him. The most likely cause of fights starting is his friend (See: Midorima Shintaro) who can be quite eccentric. Just practice your diplomatic skills on your free time.
Competition: There's the violent fangirls who wants Takao for themselves and then the very violent fangirls who wants Takao for Midorima. Guess who's scarier. That's right! Of course it's the MidoTaka shippers! You don't want to cross a shipper with her OTP. It would get ugly fast. We suggest that you invest in a Kevlar vest, a taser and a Swiss knife (for emergency purposes). There's also Midorima himself, if Takao likes Midorima in the way everyone wants it to be and Shin-chan reciprocates then give up. It's not even a fight.
Family: Let's assume that he has parents who love him and are more than willing to share some very colourful stories about his childhood. On the other hand, your beau's more likely to sit next to you and share minor details of why he did things (like maybe dress up as a girl?) instead of being embarrass. It would be easy for you to get access to those coo-worthy photos that you know you want! He has a younger sister too so you might want to get on her good side. Takao might not be the over-protective brother figure but he's the type to value what his younger sibling thinks of his girlfriend. You can always brib—give her gifts that she would like because you're a good person with no other agenda in mind.
In Bed: Despite his laidback attitude, he would remember all the dates and anniversaries that are important to you two. This implies that he would be romantic in bed. After work, one random night you would find the house dark and you'll wonder where he is since he didn't have work that day. When you open the door, you'll find a petal trail of your favourite flower on the floor leading to the bedroom lit by scented candles. Your eyes end up on your bed covered with more petals and a provocatively posed Takao waiting for you with a mischievous smile and twinkling eyes. All of this because you had a bad day yesterday. Yes he would top.
Conclusion: If you can deal with his friends (Midorima) and his ambition to enjoy life to the fullest then you'll find that he's the perfect man for you. He's honestly a great catch and there are no negative setbacks that you would have to accept or overlook. In fact, we can only see good things from him as a lover such as he can help you find missing objects with his hawk's eye. Can anyone say lucky? He's very likeable—which can be good or bad depending on how you look at it. Just keep in mind that he chose you and not whoever is hitting on him (ie. Reo Mibuchi). If you get friend-zoned then just persevere; good things happen to those who wait and confess clearly to their loves. Furthermore, be nice to Midorima because he and Takao seem to be best friends or very close friends in the least. After all, if Takao pedalling the rickshaw willingly for Midorima doesn't show friendship then we don't know what does.

PS: So, so? More characters? Any suggestions on who should be next or comments about the chapter? Just drop by a comment, I'm welcoming them~
A shout out to some people who got me off my bum to finish this chapter: When Red Roses Cry for pointing out the whole 'friendzoner' idea in her story and AoiHoshi26 for sharing characters' family info with me. Thanks guys! ^^
Sorry it's late, the flashback in Teikou days and how they changed depresses me. Especially how Atsuchin insulted Sei-chan. A part of me died. I kind of get the whole 'there's two of them' Shin-chan said because I think Sei-chan has a split personality. Bipolar maybe?
Now who loves Vocaloids because my love for Kagamine Len has been rekindled after a long hiatus. I love 'eight hundred' by Miku and 'Kokoro x Kiseki', I kept on crying! T^T
