Chapter 11: Cats out of the bag

Author's Note: This is going to be another short one. I actually might start doing just shorter chapters than usual as it is easier with school, and then occasionally have longer ways, this way I can update more often. Keep on reading and thanks for the support.

The sun was starting to set and the light flickered into the tent where Tatsumi and Esdese were sleeping. The day had been long especially for Tatsumi as he had been up the day the town was attacked and then he fought the Westerners, not to mention his "activities" with Esdese afterwards.

But as the sun set the light shinned in his eyes and he awoke. It took him a minute to realize where he was as the events of yesterday and today were a blur, so much had happened and he had experienced many emotions. He had to see a whole town be destroyed and then he killed hundreds of Westerners and had to kill two Revolutionary Soldiers with Teigu. On top of that he had, had sex with Esdese again which only added to his confliction.

He thought to himself, "I did it again; I'm really not making this easy on myself. But, I do get what she is saying is somewhat true. You do need strength and power to do things in this world, but I don't want to believe that, that's all there is to it. I want strength to protect and change the world sure, but I want to change to world so that doesn't have to be the case. Is there any way to change her mind? I've tried before but is there really any chance, especially now that we did that stuff". He then also thought about what he had said at the end, "I love you, or at least I'm starting too". Why did he say that, it made it worse on his already scrambled brain. But the more he thought about it the more he thought it was true. He knew she was evil, sadistic, and crazy, but he also knew she cared about him and he found it harder and harder to push away her advances. He really did love the caring side of her; she comforted him and made him feel loved. But he didn't fully agree with her ideals, some he did, but their desires and end results differed. But he knew the more time he spent time with her the more he changed, he could already see his view of the world change and get clouded. What was he going to do?

As he contemplated essentially the meaning of his life he then realized fully where he was and the position he was in. This made him turn stark red throughout his entire body. Esdese had her legs intertwined with his, her arms were wrapped around his chest and stomach, her breasts were pushed against his back and his head was positioned under her chin. And to make matters worse they were both completely nude.

Tatsumi couldn't move, this was by far the most threatening and embarrassing body pillow situation he had been in. He managed to move his head slightly to see Esdese's face, and plastered on it was a huge content smile.

"Crap, crap this situation, I mean I shouldn't be surprised but…AHH I STILL CAN'T GET USE TO IT!" he screamed internally.

Tatsumi then heard some noise outside. He then realized that the troops had returned from hunting down the Westerners. He then saw some flickers of fires and merry laughter; it would seem that they were celebrating their victory today. Then he heard footsteps approach the tent.

"Oh god no," he thought still realizing he couldn't move.

Then a soldier who seemed to be of higher rank came into the tent, unaware of the occupant's situation.

The man spoke, his tone and manner of speech symbolized that he had already had a fair bit of alcohol, "General…where are you, we're celebrating our victory *hiccup*…we want to celebrate with yo…" he then saw his general with a big smile on her face holding the boy who had destroyed the western army, both naked.

The man immediately sobered up his eyes shot opened and then he bowed and ran out of the tent saying, "Sorry for disturbing you!" Upon seeing this he had to tell the others.

Tatsumi managed to get a hand free and tried to stop the man but was far too late, "Wait!" He then dropped his head and said, "And that's not going to make my situation any easier."

However upon him moving Esdese woke up to see that her lover was already awake which made her smile as she flipped him towards her to look him face to face.

Tatsumi was surprised as his body was turned against his will and then his lips were smothered by hers. After she parted her lips she said, "Good morning my love."

Tatsumi blushed and then said in an embarrassed tone, "Yeah good morning…but technically it's the same day and the sun is just going down so I guess its happy dusk….ha ha"

Esdese looked around the slits in the tent and realized he was right and said giving him a cute smile, "Hmmm, I guess you're right."

Tatsumi was thrown off by her cute face for a second and then shook his head and said, "But that's not the point, what just happened…"

He was then cut off Esdese, "But before that," she brought him in closer, "I want you to say what you did before."

Tatsumi looked surprise, "What do you mean?"

She smiled in a seductive way and said, "You know," he leaned to his ear, "the way you feel about me."

Tatsumi got red again as he knew what she was talking about, "Um well about that," he paused to think about what he said earlier and then said, "The thing is I think I'm really starting to get feelings for you, but I still don't know what to think about you fully, and I'm still trying to figure out myself. But I do like you and I do have some feelings for you I just…don't want to make it sound like it's complete yet, sorry. But…you are making hard not to ignore you, you're rather persistent."

Tatsumi looked back into Esdese's eyes which were still glowing and she still wore a smile and then she said, "Just knowing that you're developing feelings for me is enough, I'll just have to keep being more persistent like Bols told me," she then leaned in extremely close and whispered into his ear and said in a both seductive and almost frightening tone, "But you will be mine Tatsumi, mine and mine alone, no one else will have you…were made for each other."

Tatsumi got a shiver down his spine because the way she said it was very scary and possessive. He then shook his head again and said, "Well regardless we have a problem."

"Oh and what's that?" she said.

Tatsumi got red again, "Well one of your men walked in on us so he saw us both…well naked."

Esdese looked at him with a blank face and then chuckled, "I don't see the problem Tatsumi we are lovers so it's natural."

"Wait aren't you embarrassed or worried about what he will say?"

Esdese said, "Not at all I'm not ashamed of my body and neither should you. Plus I want everyone and in the world to know that you are mine."

"But won't it bring misunderstandings or bring down moral. While no one has said or done anything, I know your men aren't too fond of me. I mean to them I just came out of nowhere and was right by your side. Plus do you want your men to see you like this, won't they lose respect for you or something?" he said.

Esdese laughed, "Tatsumi if any of them dare go against myself or you they will regret it, I can promise you that. It's true that I didn't tell any of them initially about you because of the moral, but…"

"But what," Tatsumi said.

Esdese smile, "But I don't think that will be a problem now since you put on that little show this morning. Now they will all see that you and I are perfect for each other, truly we are the strongest pair alive. Oh and don't worry about them seeing me naked, like I said I am not ashamed of my body, plus I already know that men will be men and I know my body is attractive so let them have their fantasies," she put on a perverted smile, "because none of them will ever be able to have me, because you're the only one who's allowed to do that."

Tatsumi got bright red trying to divert his eyes from Esdese's naked body, "Well if you say so."

Esdese smiled and then got out of bed and stated getting dressed and said, "Well let's join the celebration, I'm the commander so I should be there, and you're the reason for our overwhelming victory so you should be there too."

Before Tatsumi could say anything Esdese had exited the tent going to join her army in their comradery. Tatsumi sighed loudly and sat there for a couple minutes before he got dressed and went out as well.

Once out he got out he saw hundreds of fires going and the thousands of soldiers drinking, laughing, and talking. He didn't really care to join any of them, but he had nothing better to do so he thought he would just walk around.

As he was doing this and passing various groups he realize that he was all anyone was talking about. And why wouldn't they, this young kid just destroyed the Western army including two Teigu users and there was a rumor about him and General Esdese being involved, but most for now thought that this was just a rumor and nothing more, little did they know it was right. So as he walked pass people that noticed him would stop talking and turn to look at Tatsumi still wondering how a kid like him could do something like killing a hundred enemies and sleeping with the Empire's Strongest.

Tatsumi didn't pay any real mind to it as he hoped that the sleeping with Esdese thing would just stay a rumor for now. But as he was deep in thought he walked past the officers table. Sitting there was Luke and some of the other officers and as they saw Tatsumi pass they started talking.

"Seriously Luke, who the hell is that kid, not only does he have a Teigu, but his skills are insane"

"Yeah and Jack here says that him and the General are romantically involved, there is no way right Luke?"

Luke then began to speak up, "I don't know who the hell the kid is or his relation with the General. So might as well ask him ourselves," he turned around and shouted at Tatsumi, "Hey kid come over here and join us!"

Tatsumi turned to him and looked around as he pointed at himself in which Luke nodded. Tatsumi was a bit hesitant but started to walk over to them.

Once there Luke moved over and said, "Why don't you have a seat?"

Tatsumi looked around and noticed that everyone was an officer, "Isn't this an officer table?" While Tatsumi was a part of the Jaegers he actually held no official rank in the Empire.

Luke responded with, "Don't worry about it, what you did today defiantly earns you a place to sit with us so just sit down. Plus I'd like to ask you some things."

Tatsumi looked around worried about what they wanted to ask him but decided to accept and he sat down.

Once he did Luke asked, "Your names Tatsumi right?"

Tatsumi said, "Yes".

Luke nodded, "Well Tatsumi I'll get straight to the questions. Who the hell are you, where did you come from?"

"Well I don't where to start with that," Tatsumi said confused.

"Well first off," Luke said, "Where did you get that Teigu of yours?"

Tatsumi raised his wrist to look at Requiem and then said, "Umm well, General Esdese got permission from the Emperor to give me it."

Everyone in the table looked shocked and then Luke spoke up, "Wait, are you telling me that the General and the Emperor personally gave you the Teigu?"

Tatsumi looked kind of embarrassed as he said, "Well, yes"

Another officer Tatsumi didn't know spoke, "Wait does that mean your apart of General Esdese's special task force of Teigu users the Jaegers?"

Tatsumi turned to him and said, "Yes that's right"

Luke spoke again, "Wait I've at least heard of most of the other Jaeger members, but I have never heard of you before this, when did you get you Teigu and when did you join the Jaegers?"

Tatsumi said, "Well I guess I've only had my Teigu for about a week and I've been officially apart of the Jaegers for a little over a month now."

Everyone had their mouths wide open about how plainly Tatsumi said this. It would usually take extreme luck and skill to acquire a Teigu, let alone be given one by the Emperor and Esdese themselves. On top of that he had only been a part of the Jaegers for a month and had his Teigu for only a week and he was already this deadly.

Luke coughed in shock and then said, "Well I guess that explains the Teigu, but what I'm also interested in is where did you learn to fight like that, it's not just your Teigu that's impressive."

Tatsumi got a little red and embarrassed as he knew they probably wouldn't like this answer either, "Well an ex-soldier in my village taught me the basics, then my brother trained me a lot, and know," he took and pause, "now Esdese is personally training me to be a general or something I guess."

All the officers stared at him in silence and scratched their heads in confusion. One asked, "Personally like one-on-one kind of personally?"

Tatsumi just nodded.

"But she's never taken on an apprentice or one-on-one person before right?"

"The Three Beast would be the closest things, but those guys were already well trained before and she never really gave them any real training."

"Then why this kid?"

Luke then spoke up, "Well she must see huge potential in him, so we shouldn't question he decisions men."

They all nodded in respect to him and their General.

Luke then turned back to Tatsumi, "Sorry about that we didn't mean to probe you, were just interested is all. I mean you came out of nowhere so it's just a bit surprising is all."

Tatsumi just nodded, "No I get it, I'm a bit surprised myself as well so don't worry about it."

"Well there is just one more thing," Luke said and he kind of chuckled, "One of my friends said that he saw you and the General in bed together," he slapped Tatsumi on the back and started laughing, "But that's not true right? I mean there is no way it's got to be a misunderstanding."

Tatsumi flushed red and put his head down, "Dammit, how do I work myself out of this?" he thought.

Unknown to him Esdese was approaching from behind. She was making the rounds greeting her men when she spotted Tatsumi at the officers table with Luke. She overheard the conversation they were having and then heard the question about their relationship. She smiled as she got a fun idea and headed towards him.

"Tatsumi," Esdese said as he turned and was grabbed by his cheeks. She brought him up to her lips and gave him a wet sloppy kiss in front of everyone. All their eyes, including Tatsumi's, shot open at what was happening. After she was done she let go of Tatsumi as he fell to the ground in shock. Some of the men spit out their drinks and had their jaws drop to the ground.

"Thanks for the meal," Esdese said with a blush bring her hand to her mouth. She then turned to her men, "I trust that should answer any questions you had. Now don't be too rough with him boys," she then turned around shot Tatsumi a wink and walked away.

They all turned to Tatsumi in shock. Tatsumi had his hands clasped over his mouth still trying to process what just happened. Sure she had done the forceful kissing before, but not in front of so many people and never that wet.

Luke grabbed Tatsumi and sat him back down at the table as he brought his head close to his and the others put theirs around his in a circle as they talked in an almost whisper.

Luke paused for a second and then spoke, "Wait…let me get this straight kid. You a little country bum that just joined the military is in fact sleeping with the most beautiful, deadly, and strongest women in the entire world?"

Tatsumi turned a bright color of red that no one has ever seen before which gave him his answer.

With his mouth gapped open Luke said, "How the fuck is that even possible. You do know that she is probably the hottest women alive, and she could kill everyone here with her pinky finger?"

Tatsumi just nodded.

Luke and everyone else was at a loss for words but then Luke spoke again, "Well considering how crazy you both are at fighting, I guess you two could be considered the perfect match, but still."

He looked over at Tatsumi who was still bright red and sweating and then leaned in to him and asked as he gulped and asked, "So kid…how is she?"

"What do you mean?" Tatsumi asked.

"Well you know the General, they say a women that wild on the battlefield has to be crazy in bed, I can only imagine the techniques she has from all her torturing. And that body of hers, man I envy you kid. So you got to tell me how is she?"

Tatsumi could only say in a soft tone, "Well I wouldn't know, because um well…" he got quieter, "I've never done "it" before so I can't really compare it to anything, but she is really beautiful…yeah."

Again everyone looked shock and Luke spoke, "Wait your telling me she was your first, were you hers?"

Tatsumi just nodded.

Luke lifted his head up and went over and got two beers from a keg and slammed one in front of Tatsumi and said, "Tatsumi my friend I believe you have just one the luckiest man in the world award and you deserve one of these more than anyone else. Now drink before I pop you one out of sheer jealousy."

Tatsumi just nodded because god only knew how much alcohol he needed to try and piece together what the hell just happened today.

He just slammed the first drink in a matter of seconds and then raised his glass and said, "Another!"

Luke slapped him on the back, "That a boy!"

Tatsumi received another beer and began to drinks, "What does the future hold next? But I don't want to think about it right now, it's just time to get a little drunk and have no worries for a little bit."
