After 30 minutes of deciding who gets to sleep in the bed, Scott burst in through the door with blankets and pillows and made the bed.
"Get ready for bed, brush your teeth. I will be back in ten minutes and I better see one or two of you in that bed!" He pointed at them and stormed out with a grin.
"Alright, mother" Stiles rolled his eyes and changed into some comfy pajamas while Lydia did the same. Just as he said he would, Scott came bursting through the door again and found Stiles and Lydia sat on the bed.
"Well," He paused "Who's going in the bed?" He asked while waving his hands around frantically.
"We don't know" Stiles replied.
"You two are just so kind that you can't decide who gets the bed. Christ" He huffed. "Guess I'm gonna have to do this myself then" He walked over to Lydia, picked her up and threw her on the couch. He then stormed over to Stiles and pushed him in the bed. "Actually" He furrowed his brows and thought, looking back and forth at Stiles and Lydia until he mumbled "Stydia". So he walked over to Lydia again, picked her up and threw her on the bed next to Stiles. He placed the covers onto them and turned the light off as he walked out and shut the door.
"Did he say, Stydia?" Stiles asked.
"I think he did" She responded.
It didn't take long for them to fall asleep until Lydia woke up sweating and panting for breath.
"Stiles?" She breathed "Stiles are you there?" She asked again.
"I'm here" He turned around and instantly wrapped his arms around her. "I'm here" He repeated. His hands were warm and comforting. 5 minutes passed and he started to untangle his arms around her.
"No" She flinched. "Stay"
"I'm not going anywhere" He moved his arm back and she turned around to face him. She was in a bit of an awkward position so she tried to move over but it made it worse "You okay there?" He chuckled.
"Yep, just trying to get comfortable" She giggled back.
"Come here" He laughed and moved onto his back so that she could rest her head on his chest. He started tracing circles on her shoulder. She moved her arm and wrapped it around him.
"This is nice" She smiled.
"Yeah" He replied.
Lydia started to think about them. About how whenever she sees him she gets butterflies, how she lies awake at night thinking about what it would be like to be together, how they casually hold hands, how they are always there for each other. All these things are driving her crazy, she wanted him as more than a friend. She wanted him now.
"Stiles?"
"Yeah, Lydia"
"I love you" She blurted out.
"I love you too" He replied, you could hear the smiled in his voice.
"No, Stiles" She looked up at him and into his eyes "I love you. I love how you crinkle your nose when you're thinking, how you fiddle with your fingers when you're getting told off, how you are always there to hold my hand and comfort me, how you tap your feet when you're stressed. I love the way you smile and how beautiful your eyes are, I love you, Stiles. I love you" And with that, she kissed him. Her lips were warm against his. He cupped her face in his hands, smiled widely and pulled her closer.
"And I love you," He said once they broke apart.

He woke up to a faint snoring sound and looked down to find a sleeping Lydia on his chest. "Good morning, sunshine" He smiled down at her, she carried on snoring. There was a small knock at the door and Scott walked in.
"Was that your first 'I love you'?" Scott asked.
"Yeah" He smiled to himself "Wait, how-"
"These walls aren't thick you know" He smiled "you're lucky. The first kiss and first 'I love you' all in one night. It must be true love. And I over-heard it!" He grinned excitedly.
"Yeah, I think it is. True love" He looked down at her again and stroked her resting head. Scott left the room and left Stiles and Lydia alone.
"I love you, Lydia Martin" He whispered, gently
