After showing clips of recent players' successes and failures, the contestant turntable rotated to show the day's players waving to the audience.

[These three players are here to be part of the madness! Here is Good Luck on the Trigger with our host, Alan Tuumen.]

"Thank you and welcome to our last quarterfinal of the 'This is Madness Tournament' here on Good Luck on the Trigger," Alan said. Let's meet the players eager to earn the last spot in our nine-player semifinal round. Our 19th seed started off as a leader in the Clone Wars before becoming a Grand Moff. Let's welcome Tarkin."

"Thanks," Tarkin replied plainly. "I love winning battles, so let's see if I can win here today."

"Next, we have a clone captain who somehow managed to live over 30 years despite his accelerated aging. He always seems to be wherever ever the action is. Here's our 18th seed, Captain Rex."

"Thanks, Alan," Rex answered. "I still don't get all the crazy rumors about me, though. It's enough to make my head spin."

"That's why I tend to ignore them. Finally, we have our tournament's top seed who is eager to advance and keep his advantage. Let's greet that bad-boy bounty hunter, Boba Feet."

"Thanks, Alan, I'm on a mission to get a victory here, so I won't let anything stop me," Boba stated confidently.

"We'll see how lucky you are today. Everyone, you already know the object is to have the most credits after two rounds of play. Our game board is loaded with all kinds of credit values for you. Just watch out for Raffi; he loves to make you miserable and take away your credits in the process. If you find Raffi four times during the game, you'll be out of both this game and the tournament.

"Let's check out the spin totals for this round. Tarkin has two spins. Rex has double that with four. Boba, as the top seed, has five spins. In this round we start with the player with the least spins and work our way up. Tarkin, start us off."

"Alright," Tarkin replied. "I just want credits and whatever credits I can get. Stop."

"Three hundred and a spin. That keeps you at two spins."

"Hmm, that worked out quite well. Maybe I can get another spin here. More credits and stop."

"Go back one space to... Raffi."

Upon hearing the sinister sound effect and the audience groaning, Tarkin suspected something bad was about to happen. Raffi appeared on-screen with a plunger trying to clean out a side opening. A large bust of water swept Raffi away.

"Tarkin, as you see, it's easy for credits to come and go. You still have a spin, though, if you wish to try to finish with credits," Alan reminded him.

"That's the point," Tarkin said. "C'mon now, let's finish this round on the plus side. I want to show my competition how fierce I am. Stop!"

"Stop on 200 credits. Not too bad after picking up a Raffi. Rex, you play next with four spins."

"This is a pretty interesting game," Rex said as he watched the board update. "Let's get credits and none of those arrows or vultures. Stop."

"Six hundred credits for you. You have three more spins."

"Alright. Let's go again. I wonder what 'Big Loot' does. I certainly hope it's good. Let's find out and stop!"

"Uh oh!" Alan said as Rex stopped on a Raffi.

Raffi appeared and pecked away at Rex's score digit by digit until his beak disintegrated.

"Rex, you've fallen victim to Raffi as well as Tarkin. However, you have two spins for rebuilding."

"I never go down without a fight," Rex declared. "Let's get credits again. I need to have something to show for my efforts and stop."

"Stop on another Raffi."

Raffi appeared and dive bombed Rex's display. With a large crash, Raffi disappeared along with Rex's zero score.

"Rex, you have a spin left, but you have two Raffis. Even with our 'Vulture Gone' space, you really don't want three Raffis heading into round two," Alan cautioned him.

"You're right. I'll pass."

"That spin goes to Tarkin. Let's see if you can avoid Raffi again."

"Leave it up to a clone to test me. No matter. I'll show him what I'm made of here. Stop!" Tarkin called out.

"Three fifty more for a total of 550 credits. Now, we go to Boba with five spins."

"Execelent," Boba replied. "It's time to hunt down some credits and take the lead. Stop!"

"Two hundred and twelve credits. That puts you in second place with four more spins."

"That's an odd amount, but I'll take it. Let's add more to my score. Stop!"

"Stop on 400 credits. You're up to 612—good for a 62-credit lead over Tarkin—and you have three spins."

"That's not enough of a lead, Alan. I need to keep getting more credits. Let's try for one of those bigger amounts... stop."

"One hundred more for a new total of 712. Two spins—play or pass?"

"I'll try one more. Let's get a decent amount here for finishing the round. I won't ask for that much here... stop."

"Twelve fifty!"

After the audience cheered, Alan added, "Boba, that's one of our top values this round. You now have 1962 credits with one last spin."

"Pass!" Boba replied.

"That spin goes to the seemingly-popular Tarkin. Let's see if you can avoid Raffi one more time."

"Alright. Let's try to catch Boba here. I don't know if I can pass him, but let's close the gap and stop!"

"Raffi!"

Tarkin facepalmed as Raffi appeared to point and laugh before falling off the screen and disappearing again.

"At the end of round one, Boba has 1962 credits. Rex and Tarkin each have no credits and two Raffis. We'll be right back after this."

"Welcome back to Good Luck on the Trigger," Alan said. "We have bigger credit values meaning bigger loot, but we still have Raffi.

"Tarkin has no credits and two spins for this round. Rex has no credits and three spins. Both have two Raffis. Boba has 1962 credits and a perfect six spins. He plays last. Because of the tie for lowest score, we go by least spins, so Tarkin will once again play first."

"Well, all I can hope for is no more Raffis and some credit values. Let's get a positive spin here. Stop," Tarkin stated plainly.

"Go back three spaces to... Raffi!"

Tarkin once again face palmed. Raffi flew across the screen, erasing Tarkin's display, before he crashed into the opposite side.

"Tarkin, you're in a bit of a dilemma," Alan told him. "You have three Raffis; one more puts you out of the game. But you only have a spin left. What's your choice?"

"At this point, I may as well take it," Tarkin answered. "Let's get any credit amount, even the lowly 100 I see up there. Stop."

"How about 1000? That puts you in second place for the moment. It's now Rex's turn with three spins of his own."

"Let's have better luck this round. I thought this show was called Good Luck on the Trigger.' Let's get some credits and stop!"

"Five hundred for you. That's half of Tarkin's score and you have two more spins."

"I'll play again. Let's get more credits just like that. I'll settle for second place for now if I can. Stop!"

"Two fifty more. That's 750 in all, 250 behind Tarkin, with one more spin."

"I guess it's now or never, Alan. Let's finish up the round with more credits and a decent score. Give me more credits and stop!"

"Another two fifty puts you in a tie with Tarkin. That could make things interesting depending on how Boba's turn plays out. He has six spins, so let's see what he does."

"I'd love to pass, but then I might lose, so let's take as few spins as I need here to protect my lead. Let's get any credit amount here," Boba said. "Stop."

"Raffi!"

Boba shook his helmeted head. Raffi appeared, shooting a grappling cable at Boba's score, pulling it off screen.

"Boba, you finally have your first Raffi. However, you still have five spins."

"I'll go again. This time, I'm putting a bounty on that vulture," he replied tersely. "Let's get those credits and my lead back now and stop!"

"There's three hundred for you. You trail our co-leaders by 700 credits with four more spins."

"That's my goal: get the lead before I'm down to my final spin. It all starts here, and stop!"

"Stop on 600 more, giving you 900 credits. You're just 100 away with three spins."

"I'm right where I want to be. At worst, credits ties me with them. But I'm going to retake the lead here. Stop!"

"Two fifty. That puts you back in the lead with 1150 credits. You have two spins left."

"It's not enough to pass, so I have to go again. Let's get any credit value, the bigger the better. More credits now and stop!"

"One hundred and One Vulture Gone. That gives you 1250 credits and you lose your Raffi to go back to none."

"Nice," Boba replied sarcastically.

"Boba, you have a lead of 250 and one last spin. You can take it and hope to avoid Raffi. If so, you likely win. If you hit a Raffi, Rex and Tarkin will advance to the tie-breaker. Or, you can pass it to one of them and hope they don't pass you."

"I have to take this, Alan," Boba said. "Let's get credits here... but no more spins. Any credits and stop!"

"Two fifty! Our winner with 1500 credits is Boba Fett!"

The audience applauded and cheered while the board silently updated.

"Boba, you're one of the few top seeds to advance to the semifinals. You'll play against Cad Bane and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Rex and Tarkin, we have nice parting gifts for you. Next time, we'll have our first semifinal featuring Princess Leia, Ahsoka Tano, and Jabba the Hutt. Until then, thanks for watching Good Luck on the Trigger. Take care."
