Thank you guys for the reviews and follows :)
To Sam (Guest) and Guest don't you guys worry it is coming in the next chapter or two lol.
Keep reading and following guys I have a lot planned for the next couple chapters this this one is setting up for cant wait to hear what you guys think.
It had only been last night since I had received a personal ride home in the back of Hale's cop car but I was still surprised there was a slight mark left on my wrists from where I had strained against the cuffs. I rubbed them slowly mentally reminding myself to add extra bracelets to my outfit today to avoid anyone noticing the slight bruise.
I quickly dressed hoping to slip out of my parents house before any one questioned why I had come home so late and hope no one noticed the cruiser pull up. It was bad enough that my father was forcing me into dinner tonight him learning about what happened last night would just make the situation that much more uncomfortable. I pulled on an old jean skirt and a tight tank top and added the extra jewellery before slipping into a worn in pair of flip flops before bounding down the stairs my hair still damp from my morning shower.
I sighed knowing my car was still at Tellers and Morrows from the night before. I had planned to stop in and see Juice last night leaving my only transportation there wasn't something I had wanted to do. Now I would have to try to avoid the Teller's and another run in with Opie to get it back.
It had only been moments after I began walking down the old familiar Charming streets when I heard the sound of a car horn honking behind me. I cringed turning back to see Opie slowing his truck almost to a stop as he pulled up beside me.
"Holly, get in the truck" he called out.
I shook my head and continued down the road as I heard the sound of his old truck following beside me.
"Hol come on, I'll take you to get your car. I saw it parked there before I left this morning" he continued calling out.
Before I had the chance to continue walking he muttered the one thing he knew would change my mind.
"Piney's been looking forward to seeing you"
I instantly turned around to face him. He knew how I felt about Piney and he was clearly using that against me. When I had been a teenager in Charming my dad was away more then he was home. When he was home he would hide himself in his office far from my sister and I. When he wasn't there Piney was. He would be the one who I would call if my piece of shit car broke down on the side of the road, he was the one I would call if Opie got out of hand, he was the dad I had always wanted. It had broken my heart when I left Opie and part of that was because leaving him meant I was cut off from my second father.
"Fine, for Piney" I huffed making my way around the beat up truck as he pushed open the passenger door. I hopped up on to the seat next to him and shut the door behind my keeping my eyes locked on the road in front of us.
Thankfully Opie seemed to sense I wasn't about to play nice and chit chat on the way to Teller Morrow. He reached over to and turned the knob slightly on the radio before continuing to drive the rest of the way in silence.
I smiled when we pulled into the parking lot and I spotted the familiar old man leaving the club house. I was shocked to see him toting an oxygen cart behind him as he slowly walked. It had been years since I had laid eyes on Piney Winston and he most definitely did not have that the last time we were in the same room together.
"Is he okay?" I asked turning to Opie.
"He's as good as he can be. He's been pretty sick for awhile. His lungs are bad so he has to carry the oxygen tank with him everywhere which he fucking hates but he does it. He's okay as long as he takes it easy so he doesn't go on many runs anymore and mostly sticks to going to church and hanging around the club" he responded his eyes locked on his father.
Without another word I quickly slipped out of the truck and shut the door behind me. I instantly felt like I was sixteen again getting out of Opies truck at Teller and Morrow like I had so many times before. I quickly skipped over to Piney.
"Well hello there handsome know where a girl can get a drink around here?" I called out as I walked up to the old man.
"Holy shit what are you doing back here? I thought you were the smart one hitting the road" he smirked before pulling me into a big comfortable hug.
"I came back a few days ago to check in on my sister"
"Ah hunny I was so sorry to hear about your sisters incident. Is she doing any better?"
"Oh yeah shes a strong one. Shes already back in school gossiping with her friends. I just wish someone would find the bastard who did it, the cops have nothing on him yet and the carnival is long gone."
"I'm glad shes doing good. Don't you worry Holly it all works out he will get his" Piney said sending shivers down my spine. Piney sounded sure in what he said which could only mean that he knew something had or was going to happen to the man who attacked my sister and whatever happened was going to be bad.
I shook my head trying to not to focus on the last statement and tried to remember why I had come there in the first place.
"Hopefully. Anyways Piney I hate to run out on you but I have to get going you haven't seen Juice around have you?" I asked hoping I could have a chance to see Juice before he showed up at my parents house tonight.
"I get it sweetheart no worries but I do hope you come see me before you take off again. Juice you mean the one with the mohawk and tattoos on his head?" Piney questioned with a raised eyebrow.
"I will don't worry, I think I will be sticking around for awhile anyways. Yeah that's the one have you seen him?"
"No I think he ran out with half sack they mentioned something about getting his bike. Are you dating another sons Holly?"
"I wouldn't call it dating Piney we just started seeing each other I'm not sure where its going"
"You know if you should be with any son it should be Op Holly you know that. This is where you've always belonged back with us"
"Piney thats sweet but Opie is married remember your daughter in law and grand kids. He's moved on and so have I. Juice is a great guy" I couldn't believe I was standing there arguing about my new possible boyfriend with my ex's father.
"Sure he is a great guy I know that I like the kid I'm just saying. Donna is a sweetheart but you know how she feels about the club. Op needs someone who is going to support him and the club"
Thankfully before I could continue our argument I heard the familiar sound of a bike pulling in not far from where I stood. I sighed relieved to see the sight of Juice getting off his bike.
"Piney I gotta go I have to talk to him before I leave but I promise I will be back to see you" I promised standing on my tip toes to give the old man a quick kiss on the cheek before I bounded off.
"Hey gorgeous what are you doing here?" Juice asked before giving me a quick kiss.
"I had to get my car"
"Shit Hol I'm sorry I didn't even think I could have had half sack drive it over to your place did you have to walk here?"
"No actually Opie picked me up"
"Opie, how was that?" he asked with a raised eyebrow.
"It was fine, we didn't really talk. He had to use Piney to convince me to even get in his truck. I gotta run Juice I just wanted to see you first. Are you sure your still good with coming over tonight? If your not its okay I'm sure I can get another job" I asked trying to steer the conversation away from Opie Winston.
"Yeah it's fine don't worry I will be there" he said before flashing me with that amazing ear to ear grin he had.
"Alright good, dinner is at six. I will see you later, remember no cut" I said as I stepped closer to him slowly running my fingers along the leather on his chest.
"Will do beautiful" he said leaning down and kissing me deeply before he slowly pulled away. "Now get out of here your distracting and I've gotta get back to work" he said with a wink.
"Alright, alright I will see you later" I called over my shoulder before turning around and heading back to my car.
I passed around our kitchen as my mother cooked behind me. "Hunny stop passing tonight will go fine" she called out as she added spices to a boiling pot.
"I know it's just its almost six Juice usually shows up early"
"Holly is that really his name are we supposed to actually call him Juice" she said her face scrunching up almost like she had just sucked on a lemon.
"Yes mother call him Juice" I said spinning around to see my dad standing in the door way.
"Juice well thats original are you sure he's coming? It's six o'clock now" my dad asked crossing his arms over his chest as he starred back at me.
"Yes dad he is coming. I talked to him a few hours ago he promised he would be here. It's only just six o'clock maybe traffic is bad or he got caught up by something he will be here" I said hating how I sounded like a teenager fighting her parents over a boy.
"When you talked to him was that before or after the club house got raided" he said with a smug look that I had seen many times before.
"Dad I have no idea what your talking about their club house got raided" I repeated what he had just said hoping for more details. My mind now racing, where was Juice? Was he okay? Was he arrested. I felt a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach as I forced myself to breath and look at my father.
"A few of my guys said they saw it happen an hour or two ago and said they pulled one of SAMCRO out in handcuffs"
"God dammit" I muttered under my breath, I didn't want to but I couldn't help but worry that the man pulled out in handcuffs was Juice.
"Holly, this is exactly why you shouldn't be seeing one of them. Do you want to worry about this stuff for the rest of your lives wondering if your husband is going to be arrested or god forbid killed because thats what your live would be" my mom called out interrupting my thoughts.
"Mom stop. I'm not marrying him, we just started seeing each other I have no idea where it's going but I'm sure as hell not going to end it with him because one of his brothers got arrested"
"How do you know that Holly? How do you not know it's him sitting in that jail cell?" my dad asked.
"I guess I don't know all I can go on is that I know Juice. I know him and I know he is a good man and he will be here" I almost yelled at them hopping to stop their questions at lest for a moment so I could catch my breath and think for a moment.
Before any of us had a moment to say anything else I was relieved to hear the familiar sound of a motor cycle. I quickly rushed over to our front window not realizing my parents were right behind me. I couldn't help but smile as I saw him get off his bike. There he was my big bad biker hiding the tattoos that covered his arms with a white dress shirt and sporting black dress pants. I knew this was unusual for Juice Ortiz and I knew he was doing it because he loved me.
