Chapter 11

Ulmar had known about the pommel stone since back when he was just a newblood. Shadowfang had told him and a few others in the pack about it. Shadowfang had split The Razor into four pieces, the shards, the hilt, the pommel stone, and the scabbard. Each piece was a part of what made up a Yolsil. The shards symbolized the power of its attacks, and how it could kill many very quickly. The hilt symbolized the staggering amount of strength and endurance the beasts had. The scabbard is a symbol of the Yolsil's origin, Mehrunes Dagon. The pommel stone embodied the feral energy within the Yolsil, which caused it to lose control, spreading destruction throughout Tamriel.

Werewolves could potentially control their feral energy, or let it run wild. So the stone was hidden within Hircine's artifact, inside the wolf's head, showing the feral energy within all werewolves. Ulmar knew that the stone was in safe hands, for now. He slunk quietly away, to tell the pack of his findings. Feezira could feel the feral vibes enminating from the stone, and felt something inside her roar. Her Yolsil wanted to be united with it, to have the power. Feezira shook her head, and carefully slipped it into the bag which contained the shards.

Feezira called Svadri over, who was still clutching his sword. Feezira started laughing, a huge grin slapped across her face. Svadri frowned at her, confused. "You don't have to keep your sword out anymore! Did you really keep it unsheathed since I told you to yesterday?" Svadri answered her after sheathing his sword "Orders are orders, you told me to guard and keep a look out, so I did. You didn't tell me to stop guarding. We of the legion must remain vigilant" This only caused Feezira to laugh even more, and she was soon on the ground, trying to contain herself. "I haven't laughed like that in some time! You legion types can be strange at times, but you really nailed it there! Listen, you don't need to wait for me to tell you to stop doing something, okay? Just stop when you see fit. Now, let's get going, I checked the map, and our next location is an orc fort called Shieldhold.

Svadri and Feezira had to travel far, all the way to the hold of The Pale. Svadri and Feezira struggled to keep warm, but Feezira's fire spells helped them many times. One morning, Feezira woke to find her feet had been frozen to the ground. When Svadri saw this, Feezira was surprised to see that he chuckled a little. Feezira huffed, and used her flames to melt the ice. She then threw a snowball at Svadri for laughing at her. Though the cold was hard for them both, Feezira had the worst of it. As reptiles were cold-blooded, she often felt tired and lethargic in the snow, and Svadri sometimes had to drag her onward.

Feezira had learned how to transform into her Yolsil energy form, by reaching within herself until she found the cage where the energy was, and releasing it. She practiced with it by hunting snow bears, and had soon become very skilled. She even once let Svadri ride her as she flew through the skies, in order to shorten the length of the trip. When she touched the pommel stone of the razor, she felt her feral energy become more eager to escape and wreak havoc.

Soon, Svadri and Feezira came to Shieldhold, a heavily fortified stone structure. Almost as soon as they stepped within the walls, orcs in strong orcish armour advanced on them. Svadri's face twisted in anger, and he yelled "For the glory of the empire!" and charged at them with his sword. Feezira took on six of the brutish warriors, each one duel-wielding orcish war axes. She blasted them with her fire many times, and she grimaced as one struck her with his axe. 'These orcs are very tough…They took so many hits!' Feezira thought, as she finally killed the last orc. She looked over at Svadri, and saw he had a large cut through one of his arms, which had torn the sleeve. He also had a dent in his chestplate, where an orc had bashed him with a Warhammer.

Feezira had taken many hits herself, and she passed Svadri some healing potions, while she drank a few. When they had healed, the duo went inside the fort, and met more orcs. They slashed and burned a few waves, and headed deeper. As the two came to a door, they could hear a heavy snorting sound, as if some animal was beyond. Svadri went forward, and opened the door. Standing in the centre of a blood-splattered room was the biggest, toughest, most bloodthirsty orc they had ever seen.

He wore a bulky set of ebony armour, without the helmet. In one hand, he held a slightly dented, bloodstained ebony Warhammer. In the other he had a menacing ebony battleaxe, the blade painted red from the blood of all those it had chopped. As soon as his wild eyes fell on Svadri and Feezira, he swung his arms wildy, and charged at them. Feezira unsheathed Odahviing's Tooth, and Svadri got out an imperial bow and some steel arrows. The monster orc went for Feezira first, and swung his battleaxe. Feezira tried to dodge it, but it gashed her shoulder. Feezira's face twisted in pain, and she leapt at the orc, slashing his face with her dagger.

The orc didn't even flinch as she sliced his face, and instead kicked her away. Svadri was firing arrows at the orc, but they just seemed to bounce off him. He carefully took aim, and shot the orc in the eye. This sent the orc into a frenzied rage, and he focused all his strength on Svadri. He swung his Warhammer at him, and hit him in the chest. Svadri was thrown across the room and hit the wall. Feezira's anger boiled inside of her when she saw her companion being dealt such a blow, and before she knew it, she was transforming into her energy form.

Feezira was not in control of herself, and she savagely slashed the orc. She burnt him with her fiery breath, and ripped his arm off with her jaws. The orc was helpless, and with each blow Feezira dealt, she smashed the fort. Svadri was weakened, but he saw something metal glinting on the wall near him 'The hilt…' he thought, and used all his strength to grab it and put it in his satchel. The fort began to shudder and shake from all the damage, and Svadri knew they must leave. "Feezira! Please! Listen! We must get out of here!" He shouted desperately. Feezira regained most control, and quickly picked him up in her talons. She burst through the roof of the fort, and quickly flew towards Dawnstar.

Feezira landed near Dawnstar, and transformed back. She quickly picked up Svadri, and ran towards the jarl's house. "Jarl Solara, please help! I need to see the court wizard, Fandreth, immediately!" Feezira shouted at the jarl. Solara, a female altmer, glanced at Svadri and nodded, and called Fandreth. Fandreth was a dunmer who had much experience with healing. He looked at Svadri, and frowned in concentration. "Yes, a serious case. Bring him to my room, I shall heal him!" Fandreth lead Feezira to a bright, warm room, and told her to put Svadri down on the table. Feezira had tears in her eyes, and was praying that Svadri would live. He had helped her so much on her quest, and had become a good friend to her.

Svadri was in a dark room. A dark, dark room. He could see nothing. He tried saying "Hello!" and his voiced echoed eerily. Torches lit up near him, and he saw an argonian seated on a chair. He had red scales, like Feezira, but looked ancient. He was wrinkled, and had a wise smile.

"You have been chosen, my lad. I am Fiirn, the first Yolsil. When I was hatched in Blackmarsh, the elders sensed my power, and ordered that I be trained to contain it when I came of age. I discovered who I was, and my destiny. I became a hero to my people, and I knew that someday, others like me would come to be. Some, like Feezira, are noble, and pure of heart, but others, like her brother, Beyn, are evil, and gladly follow Dagon in his quest to make them his tools. Feezira must face her destiny, and you must stand beside her. Please, do not tell her of me or what I have said, for she will come to understand in time." Fiirn gave a nod, and Svadri became enveloped in light.
