Happy Saturday!
Disclaimer: I do not own Twilight, sadly.
"Bella did I leave my curling iron in here?" Alice bellowed from her room down the hall. I put down my lipstick and leaned towards the door.
"Your what?" I shouted back, hoping I wasn't annoying Mrs Cullen. Alice and I hadn't exactly been quiet since we got home from school.
"What I used to curl you hair!" Alice said and I could hear the sarcasm in her voice.
"Your curler," I muttered with a smile, grabbing the curler on my dresser.
Since I said what I said to Alice earlier on about everything being about herself, I also added in that she was too nice to me since she found out about my medication. When Alice realised I didn't want to feel like a child, she stopped immediately and treated me how she did anyone else. Her smart comments were amazing, it made me wonder why she chose to be so nice before; she was hilarious now.
Alice trotted into the room, her feet bare but was wearing an amazing crop top that cut low, showing off her amazing boobs. She had a tight mini skirt on that set off the tone to her top perfectly. She looked fucking gorgeous!
"Wow, Alice, you look amazing!" I said, but the words didn't do her justice. How could I compare to that at my own party?
"Yeah, yeah, hand over my curling iron," she grumbled but thanked me the second she was reunited with her curler.
She left the room again, asking if I needed any more help but I declined, knowing exactly how I wanted my make-up.
I already applied my foundation, powder to set it all and eyeshadow, but I still had contouring, highlighting and mascara to go. My best friend from home was already in college studying to be a beautician and she had me obsessed with all things technical that came with make-up. I never wore this much make-up on a day to day basis; it was only on party occasions and birthdays that I would go through such extremes but it was nice. It relaxed me.
My hair- courtesy of Alice- was in bouncing curls that trickled down my back. I didn't put on my dress yet because I knew I'd be clumsy enough to pour foundation all over it.
I grabbed my bronzer and contoured my face, emphasising my cheek bones and jaw line. Mascara was the easiest part and I even decided to go for fake lashes. My foundation was minimal, so it wasn't like I was caked in make-up. It was a natural glow that I got from the bronzer. I was all for little changes. I chose a light nude lipstick for my lips and with that, I was finally ready in the face department.
I was careful not to throw my hair around too much, even though Alice had already packed it with hairspray. I went to my wardrobe and pulled out my dress, smiling at the sight of the blue fabric. I was suddenly so excited for tonight! I hadn't had a party for myself since I was a child. My eighteenth back home consisted of a pub and getting drunk.
"Bella, are you nearly ready?" Alice called again. I giggled.
"I'm just getting dressed, Ali!" I shouted back.
"Damn it, how are you doing all of this so fast?" Alice whined. "I take forever!"
I laughed again and threw on my dress, careful not to snag anything in the process. Alice left my shoes that I shuddered at the sight of. The heel was huge. I already accepted the fact that I would fall in them tonight. There was no way of getting around it.
I stepped into the heels and was instantly taller. I looked into the mirror and barely recognised myself. I looked mature, girly and… happy. I hadn't smiled like this in so long. Not since Masen. Being here was making me turn into all sorts of things, but if it made me this happy, I didn't really care.
"Fuck, Bella."
I gasped and turned towards the door, seeing Edward standing there, leaning against the frame.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you. The door was open…" Edward trailed off.
I shook my head and licked my lips, glad I was wearing lip stick rather than lip gloss. It would have tasted nasty right there.
"It's fine, I just got a little fright," I laughed breathlessly.
Edward stepped into the room slowly, shutting the door behind him but not fully locking it. It swung lightly but never fully met the frame. I was glad. It would have looked far too suspicious.
"You look ravishing, Bella," Edward whispered when he stood before me.
I blushed, defeating any sort of confidence I had before. Now it just looked like I was embarrassed of myself.
Edward's hand went to my chin to lift up my head.
"Don't hide that blush from me, little one," he whispered as I got lost in his eyes.
I was tall enough that I didn't need to rise on my tiptoes to kiss him now. Edward smiled at that when I planted a kiss on his smooth lips. With his body against mine and his tongue reaching out to taste my own, I didn't want to go to the party anymore. I wanted to stay right here with Edward and let him have his way with me. Lord knows I want more of what happened in his classroom earlier.
"Bella! Can you come in here a sec?" Alice screamed and I sighed into our kiss, never wanting to let him go.
"My daughter has the worst timing," Edward grumbled, pecking my lips once, twice, three times before releasing me. I smiled sadly and kissed his cheek before leaving my room, taking satisfaction in the fact that I knew he was watching my bum.
Suddenly, I was swirled around and backed up against the wall with Edward pressed against me, his mouth on mine in an instant. The shock of the movement wore off the second I felt his dick pressed against the bottom of my stomach. I whimpered at the contact, slightly worried he was kissing off all my make-up, but only a little.
"Bella?!" Alice bellowed again. I had to push Edward off me, otherwise his daughter would come barging through the door yelling bloody murder.
I shoved him off me and ran out the bedroom door as fast as I could in those heels, muttering "sorry" as I left.
Alice had her back turned to me when I arrived at her room, so she couldn't see the mess that was my face. I glanced at the mirror and saw my lipstick was gone completely, along with a tiny amount of foundation. I was going to kill Edward when I got my hands on him again.
"My button keeps unbuttoning right below where the strings are tied and I can't reach it. Can you just do it for me please?" Alice pleaded but I was already on it.
The second I felt her top being secure, I ran out the door, not wanting her to ask questions about the abomination that was my face. I slammed my door shut, noting that Edward was no longer in the room and fixed up my make-up right away. I was back to normal in a matter of minutes.
My hair had survived the make out session, thank God, but my thong, however, had not. I changed it quickly, grabbed my phone and headed down stairs, telling Alice I'd wait in the kitchen. She was almost ready.
Rosalie gushed at how pretty she thought I looked. I teased her saying it wasn't pretty I looked like.
"Hot would be a better word to describe you," Mrs Cullen winked. "The boys won't know what to do when you arrive."
At this, Edward chose to walk into the kitchen. Rosalie's smile faltered a little but her façade was back up the second she caught my eye again. I didn't look in the direction of Edward because if I did, I'd blush.
"What's this we're talking about?" He asked, biting into an apple. He made everything look so sexy, I wanted to cry.
"Bella obviously," Rosalie chastised. "She looks incredible."
Edward hummed nonchalantly but when Rosalie's back was turned he winked at me with a smirk, making me weak at the knees.
"Alice, are you ready?" Mrs Cullen shouted up the stairs. I doubted she could hear. The staircase was huge and long enough that Ali couldn't hear it from her bedroom down the hall on the second floor.
With Rosalie out of the kitchen, Edward turned to glare at me.
"Remember what I said to you," he said darkly. "If anyone touches you, they're dead."
"Yes sir," I whispered, biting my lip. His eyes darkened.
I heard Alice's heels on the marble stairs and went out to meet her.
"Jess should be outside at any minute," Alice beamed. I nodded, touching up on my lipstick.
"Don't let Jasper ruin that lip gloss, Alice Cullen," Rosalie glared but Ali only smiled.
"It's a party mom," Alice said as if that was going to solve anything. "Mine and Bella's birthday party. We'll be too busy eating cake and dancing to worry about boys."
"That better be the truth," Edward appeared and I heard the double meaning.
"I'll get her home in a respectable one piece," I promised the Cullen's.
"Look out for Bella too, Alice," Edward said with a smile, playing it off casually. "She knows how to handle drink; she's legal."
"I trust you girls, don't make me regret it," Rosalie said, kissing us both on the cheeks.
Jess honked her horn right on time and as Alice and I waved goodbye to the parents, I couldn't help the butterflies I felt in my stomach when I felt Edward's eyes on me once more.
"If anyone touches you, they're dead."
I shuddered in my seat. I had to be very careful tonight.
"You birthday girls ready?" Jessica screamed from the front seat, turning up the radio to its maximum.
Alice cheered and I giggled, deciding to forget about Edward's warning and have a good time with my new friends. It would be a night to remember, I'm sure.
I thought one more update this weekend wouldn't hurt considering it's my only time off. I'm sorry it's being dragged out, I just want the party to be its own chapter, lol.
Reviews are love so give me some love!
