Thank you so much for reviews! Now, let's wrap up this story!
"Mr. Allen, you're late," Hank said.
"I always am," Barry said smirking. He saw Kara was alone in the lab and internally smiled.
He walked up behind her, and wrapped his arms around her waist. "Morning," Barry said. His voice sent shivers down Kara's spine. She turned around and was face to face with him.
"Hey," Kara said back, a smile forming on her lips.
"I had a good time last night," Barry said, then giving her a kiss. Kara put her hands on either side of his face and kissed him back.
"I'm sure," Kara said smiling.
"So, how long are you staying?" Kara asked.
"Kara..." Barry groaned, "why did you have to bring that up?"
Kara lightly laughed and said, "I just want to know."
"I'm going back tomorrow night," Barry said resting his forehead against hers. He saw her eyes fall. "Kara..." Barry said.
"I get it, you can't stay here forever, right?" Kara rhetorically asked.
"I wish I could," Barry said.
"I know you do," Kara said, "I will see you later."
"Bye, babe," Barry said, kissing her one last time. And again. And then again.
"Barry," Kara said letting go.
"Sorry, I'll miss you," he said cupping her cheeks.
"Me too," Kara said playfully pushing him away. Both internally wishing they were an actual couple.
~time jump to 6:00 pm~
Kara was alone in the training room when Mon-El walked in.
"Please, look, Mon-El-" Kara was cut short.
Mon-El pulled out a kryptonite blade and said, "End it with him." Kara immediately fell to the ground.
"No," Kara said defiantly. "This is the third time in two days, Mon-El."
"I know, we're meant to be together Kara. Since you can't seem to realize that on your own, I have to help you." Mon-El said.
Kara struggled to get up.
He slashed her across the neck. Kara cried out.
"Undress for me," Mon-El commanded.
Kara did has she was told, crying as well.
"You know, since it's night, I won't be able to heal quickly. He'll see the cut," Kara said, hoping he wouldn't carry through with it.
"Make something up," Mon-El said, slashing her again, across her back.
"What was that one for?" Kara weakly asked.
"Questioning me," Mon-El said.
Mon-El showed no mercy with her.
Kara continually cried out in pain, refusing to break up with Barry.
After it was over, Kara and Mon-El dressed and walked out separately.
Kara went home, putting on her show face, she had mastered. Barry already had her favorite dinner out and a movie playing.
"Hey," Barry said walking up to her. He kissed her and walked over to the couch.
As Kara was arranging her plate, he noticed her slightly wincing.
"You okay?" he asked concerned.
"Yeah, just sore," Kara said lying. Barry's eyebrows creased for a second, but he then slowly nodded. Kara sat back on the couch and that's when Barry noticed the cut on her neck.
"What's that?" Barry asked moving her hair to behind her back.
"I was, um, training, and got cut," Kara lied.
"You're not a good liar, Kara," Barry said, putting his own plate down on the table.
"I'm not lying," Kara said, her face beginning to flush.
"What's going on?" Barry asked, pulling Kara closer to him.
She winced when he put his hand on her back. He immediately took his hand away.
"Kara," Barry said confused. "It's nothing," Kara answered. She walked over to her kitchen to get a glass of water.
He followed and used his speed to take off her shirt.
"Barry!" Kara exclaimed. He pinned her so her chest was on the counter.
"What is this?" Barry asked, running his fingertips over the cut.
"Nothing," Kara said, continually lying.
He turned Kara and put her shirt back on her.
"Kara, stop lying to me," Barry said, his tone firm. He saw a tear fall and wrapped his arms around her waist.
Kara buried her head into his shoulder and broke down.
He walked her over to the couch and let her lean against his chest. When, she got it together, somewhat, she began to tell him what had been happening.
"Since you and I have been...together, Mon-El has been getting a hold of Kryptonite," Kara started.
"How?"
"I don't know," Kara said honestly. "He began to torture me with it," Kara said, beginning to choke up.
Barry understood what she meant and anger flashed across his face. But he put that aside, because Kara needed him right now. He would kick Mon-El's ass tomorrow.
Barry held her tighter and kissed her forehead.
"He, um, did it again tonight, and since it wasn't during the day, my cuts didn't heal," Kara explained.
"And I'm guessing he wanted you to break it off with me. But you, being stubborn, didn't," Barry said, smirking just a little.
Kara lightly smiled.
"I'll kill him tomorrow," Barry said intertwining their fingers together.
"Thank you," Kara said playing the movie.
~the next day~
Barry and Kara got their earlier, and Kara's stomach was in knots from anticipation. Barry gripped the rail awaiting Mon-El. Barry had also explained the situation to the rest of the team and they had all wanted to kill Mon-El, but Barry called it first.
"Good morning everyone," Mon-El greeted, walking up to them. Hank's eyes glowed red and Barry's filled with lightning.
Barry sped into him, knocking him a good 20 feet away. Mon-El got up and glared at Kara, "You told them," Mon-El said.
Kara had fear in her eyes. "Why do you even care, Barry? You're just screwing with her," Mon-El asked.
Lightning surrounded Barry and the team took a step back, but Barry didn't move.
"Come on, then," Mon-El said. Barry stood still.
Just then, Superman flew in and knocked Mon-El into the screens at the front. Mon-El stumbled to his feet. Barry sped in circles, then casting a lightning rod at Mon-El.
He cried out in pain and then it was Superman's turn.
He picked up Mon-El and slammed him into the ground.
Hank handcuffed him and took him into their "jail" so Superman and Barry didn't kill him.
Superman said, "I'm glad your okay, Kara, I have to go, somethings require my attention back home." He then flew away.
"Hey guys, I think I'm just going to go be by myself for a little bit," Kara said walking away.
Barry took off his mask and conversed with Alex before he decided to follow her.
He found her in the arsenal room. She turned around and smiled a sad smile.
"You okay?" Barry said, even though he knew she wasn't.
"Just... why do you care so much?" Kara asked.
"Even if we weren't...together, I would still care because what he was doing to you was awful," Barry said.
Kara nodded and bent her head down a little. He lifted her chin with his finger.
"However, I care so much also because I fallen hopelessly in love with you," Barry said putting his hands on either side of her face.
Kara smiled brightly and whispered, "Me too."
They kissed passionately and Barry moved his lips down her neck. He slowly slid his hands down her back and then up her skirt.
He pulled away and asked, "Why don't we take the day off?"
Kara had a nervous look in her eyes. "Hey, it's me. You're safe with me," Barry said kissing her forehead. Kara nodded and said, "Okay, let's go."
"You sure, we don't have to," Barry said.
"I want to," Kara said. Barry smiled and sped her away.
