Mako Pov

Korra is missing and I am bed bound. This isn't right, I should be out there looking for her. Maybe I should call Asami. She knows the city.

"Excuse me!" I yelled for a nurse to hear.

"Yes, dear?" A pleasant looking woman asked.

"Can I please use a phone?" I asked.

"Of course, one moment." She replied.

I sat up while the nurse handed me the phone. I dialed in Asami's number

Ring Ring. Ring Ring. Ring Ring.

"Hello." Asami answered.

"Hey can you do me a favor?" I asked urgently.

"I suppose, what is it?" She asked.

"It's Korra, she's run away." I told her.

"What do you mean, she's run away?" She asked.

"She was staying at Bolin's apartment last night and she left. Please you have to help me." I begged.

"I guess, where are you?"

"I am bound to a hospital bed, and none of the nurses will let me leave." I practically yelled for the nurses to hear.

"Okay, calm down Mako I'll go look for her." Asami said.

"And..." I started.

"What is it?" She asked as I heard a car start in the background.

"She has amnesia. She doesn't rememeber us." I said.

"Okay, ummm, I'll call if I find her." Asami said and then hung up.

How could this happen. Just a few days ago everything was, together, not perfect but together. Now though, it's all apart. Nothing is right anymore. I need Korra and I know she needs me, even if she doesn't remember.

Maybe I could sneak out, they won't notice. I tried to get up but it sent a searing pain through my back. I looked around, there were crutches next to my bed so I was able to walk well enough, it hurt but that doesn't matter right now. Next order of buisness, clothes. They were at the opposite side of the room. I got up and slowly crossed the room, being silent. I quickly slipped off my hospital gown and slipped on my clothes. I looked out the door. There was the receptionist and then a bunch of random visitors, but those people didn't matter. It was the receptionist that did.

I took a deep breathe, opened the door and waited until her back was turned and I limped as fast as I could behind the wall. I didn't get caught. I looked around, there were no other nurses that I knew. Then I looked for the closest elevator, it was down a few hallways, I got there but already I felt tired but that doesn't matter I have to find Korra, I have to.

I left the hospital and decided to go towards the park.
