A/N: Hey hey hey!

I'm picking up where left off so see you at the bottom!

And sorry I suck at updating. I always seem to get distracted and forget I leave y'all hanging. Hope this makes up for it!

Last time:

When I get there as I could feel something build up in the pit of my stomach, like that night of Vickie's attack. I follow my instincts, and shoot out my hands, causing a part of the roof to explode.

I'm not gonna lie, it felt exhilarating. I did it again till the whole roof was gone. I was panting from the exertion when I heard the silky smoothness of his voice behind me.

"Hello Bella."

I tensed at the sound of his silky smooth voice. I turned slowly on my heel, only to see not just one Cullen, but all of them.

Talk about awkward.

"Hello?" I said sheepishly.

Edward took a step forward, but I held my hand up to stop him. "Please don't"

"Bella-" he started

"No," I interrupted "Don't come any closer."

"We're so sorry Bella," Esme cooed "We never meant to hurt you."

"Hurt me? You think all you did was "hurt me"? I was destroyed!" I cried

"We left to protect you love," Edward explained "but we're back now"

I scoffed "To protect me? Well that's a crock full of shit. Did you know that Laurent came after me? That Victoria is still out there? If you left to protect me then you did a crap job if it."

I didn't want to hear another word from them, so I turned on my heel, walked to my car, and pulled away from the house. I pulled my phone from my pocket and called Damon.

"Now where have you been my beautiful companion?" He answered

"Can you come pick me up?" I sniffled.

"What's wrong? Where are you?" he asked.

"I'm in Forks," I explained "I thought I told you."

"You didn't, but I will pick you up from the airport."

"Thanks." I whimpered.

We hung up and I drove back to La Push to tell Charlie that I was going home.

As expected, Charlie wasn't happy that I was leaving, and tried to leave with me. I told him it was ok, and that he didn't need to leave. He tried to argue with me but I could see that he wanted to stay. I told him that being in Forks was bringing up those memories and I felt myself falling apart at the seams. That seem to do it in for him. He said he understood and let me go, but not after he drove me to the airport.

That's where i found myself three hours later in the terminal, skimming through Wuthering Heights, when I felt a cold hand in my shoulder.

"Nothing you say is gonna make me stay Alice." I sighed.

"How did you-"

"I just knew you couldn't stay away." I replied nonchalantly

Neither of us said anything. The silence was deafening.

"Look, if you're just gonna sit here and not say anything then please leave. Your family really hurt me, and I was stupid enough to think that I was enough. I always knew it was too good to be true." I took a breath in and blew out. "Do you know what he said to me that day? Did you know I was left in the woods and that Charlie sent out a search party to find me. I almost died out there trying to chase after.. him."

I turned to face Alice and her tiny pixie face was frowning so hard, that if she could wrinkle this would do it.

"I'm so sorry Bella. Edward never told us what he said to you. The only thing he said was it was done and not to look into your future." Alice said in a small voice "I tried so hard not to, but you kept popping up. Until last year when you disappeared. That's when we came back, but you weren't in Forks anymore."

The overhead speaker was telling us that my flight was boarding. I looked at Alice and she looked even more upset.

"I'm sorry Alice, but you guys can't just stroll back into my life and pick back up where you left off. Like the last year never happened. I have a new life in Virginia. Maybe in time I can let you back in, but not now. Just give me some space and time." I apologize. I stood up and grabbed my carry on and started towards the line.

Alice jumped up and hugged me tight. I stiffened for a second but hugged her back.

"I understand Bella. I'll let everyone know too." she whispered. "I'm sorry again. "

She kissed my cheek and flitted off.

I took a deep breath in and got in line to go home.

After the seven hour flight, I found myself exhausted and wanting a real bed. I went to retrieve my luggage and look for my ride home. After a few minutes of struggle, I finally managed to grab my bag. I looked around for Damon but didn't see him immediately. I plucked my phone out of my carry on and called him.

"I know I'm late but traffic was terrible. I'll be there in less than 20 minutes." He announced as soon as he answered.

"It's ok," I replied "I'll be outside waiting"

"You got it, sweet cheeks." He chorused and hung up.

I rolled my eyes and made my way outside to wait. As soon as I got outside, I managed to trip and drop everything that was in my hand.

"This is seriously how it's gonna play out today?" I mumbled to myself.

"Looks like your day is gonna get a little messier." a sickly sweet voice said from behind me.

You've go to be joking me. I thought to myself.

I whipped around and shot my hands out in front of me, effectively freezing the whole place.

Including Victoria.

A/N: So another cliffhanger? Sorry? But this next chapter should end New Moon and Eclipse because Bella wants nothing to do with the Cullens for now. So yeah.
