Hey there everyone! Sorry about the delay but without further ado. Let's start a new chapter. I do not own Fairy Tail. Hiro Mashima does. If I did, not only would Laxus and Lucy be together, but Alzack and Bisca wouldn't be the only couple with a baby.

Chapter 9: Duo

Lucy POV

I had woken up feeling refreshed and brimming with energy. It was still pretty early so I guessed that Laxus was still asleep. I wanted to surprise him so I decided to make him breakfast and take it to his bed as a sign of gratitude. I prepared six slices of bacon, four eggs, and served him a cup of juice. I went to his room and saw him sleeping peacefully. 'Laxus usually had a very serious expression when he's awake but when he's asleep, he looks like a giant baby. A muscular, sexy…NO STOP THINKING LIKE THAT LUCY.'

"Laxus…wake up. I have a surprise for you." Laxus simply rolled over and pulled the covers over his body. "Go…away…I'm sleeping."

"Fine then. I guess this food will be wasted." That seemed to have done the trick because Laxus sat up and said, "What food? Did I somehow end up falling asleep in the kitchen?" "No you dummy. I wanted to do something nice for you so I brought you breakfast to your bed." I looked away when saying this since it was sort of embarrasing.

Laxus POV

"No you dummy. I wanted to do something nice for you so I brought you breakfast to your bed." To say that I was shocked would be an understatement but then again, Lucy has been surprising me a lot more often. Her looking away didn't help either, because the next thing I know, I'm looking away to hide the slight blush that is creeping into my face.

"You didn't need to do that Lucy. I would have gone down for breakfast." "I know, but you've done so much for me that I wanted to do something to show my appreciation, and what better way than to feed you."

"Well aren't you very considerate now?" "Shut up. I'm just trying to be nice!"

"I know. I'm sorry and thank you." I began to eat and found that it was delicious.

"This is great. How come you don't cook more? You cook better than me."

"I don't know. I guess because you never asked." Lucy was looking away trying to hide a blush but I caught it. "Well from now on, you will definitely be cooking a lot more often." "Alright."

After finishing my breakfast, Lucy went to clean the dishes while I got ready. After getting ready, I went over to where Lucy was and saw she was sitting waiting for me. When she noticed me, she said, "It's usually the guy that has to wait for the girl." "Yea yea whatever. Come on, I feel like walking around in the forest." "Why?" "I don't know, I just feel like it. Come on." "Fine…"

Lucy's POV

We ended up going to the forest and were just walking when Laxus suddenly stopped. "What's wrong?"

"Close your eyes." Okay, I was not expecting that. "Why?" "Just do it, don't worry I won't do anything." "Fine." I closed my eyes and then Laxus began to lead me to wherever he was heading. After a few minutes I got irritated and said, "Are we almost there yet Laxus?" "Almost there, keep your eyes closed."

After a few more minutes of walking, Laxus spoke up again. "Alright we're here, open your eyes." I opened my eyes and saw something amazing. In front of me was a crystal clear lake surrounded by fields of flowers. "This is beautiful Laxus. How did you know this was here?" "I found it before I helped you and just remembered that it was here, so I wanted to show you."

I suddenly started getting all flustered and I had butterflies in my stomach. Before I could say anything though, I suddenly started to hear a lyre playing in the background. "Laxus, do you hear that?" "Yeah, what is that?" "Sounds like a lyre, but where is it coming from?"

The sound started getting closer and suddenly, a wild boar charged at us, but before any of us could react, an arrow flew past us and killed the boar before it reached us. Laxus's sences seemed to have increased because he was now standing protectively over me and said, "Whose there?"

"Please calm down Sir. We mean you no harm. We wish to join up with the other gods and team up with Lady Lucy." Out of the forest came a man in a greek robe that barely covered any of his chest but covered his legs well. He also had a lyre in his right hand. He was Laxus's height but was a little skinnier. Next to him was a woman that looked almost the same as the man, except that she was female and had clothing that covered her more properly. Instead of having a lyre in her hand, she had a bow. As soon as they reached me, they both kneeled in front of me.

"Lady Lucy," they spoke together. "We wish to join the other gods in being under your service." The man then spoke up, "My name is Apollo. I am the god of music. While I am not too good in battle as the rest of the gods, my music can serve several purposes. One such use is being able to put a person or a group of people to sleep with my music. I also have more abilities but that can wait till needed." After nodding to Apollo that I understood, the woman began to speak. "My name is Artemis. I am the goddess of hunting. Unlike my brother here, I am more useful in battle, but I don't mind the occasional girl talk. As the goddess of hunting, I can scout fields and attack from a long distance." I nodded once again but then it clicked in my mind that she said brother.

"Wait, brother? You two are related?"

"Yes. Artemis and I are twins. Though we have different abilities, we share the same blood." Before I could say anything else though, my stomach growled and I blushed. "Sorry, I didn't really get much for breakfast and it is getting close to lunch time." Artemis responded by saying, "please forgive us for delaying you. We will get the contract done quickly." They then closed their eyes and began to chant, "I, Apolo/Artemis, God of Music/Goddess of Hunting, hereby swear my loyalty and strength to your cause and swear upon my life that I will follow you through any and all obstacles you may face in the life of my new master, Lucy Heartfilia."

Artemis and Apollo then turned into their respective gems. Artemis turned into a brown gem with an image of a bow in the middle of the gem. Apollo turned into a similar brown gem but instead of having a bow in the center, it had a lyre. They both attached themselves to Lucy's necklace.

Lucy's stomach once again growled and Laxus, after chuckling, said, "come on. Let's go get something to eat. Obviously you can't wait much more." "Thanks Laxus."
