"Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!" Maddy screamed as she jumped on her mother. Erin opened an eye and looked at her daughter dressed in a purple soccer uniform.

"I know you know better than to jump on Mommy's bed with your soccer cleats on," Erin warned.

"Oops," Maddy sulked and climbed off her parent's bed. "Daddy said you had to get up, 'cause today's Saturday and that means it's my first soccer game," Maddy squealed.

"That's right, first game of the season. You go eat your breakfast, and I'll be down in a couple of minutes," Erin responded as she watched her daughter run out of the room. She got dressed and followed the noise of children into the kitchen. She walked over to her husband who just handed Maddy her bowl of cereal. All four kids sat in their respectable chairs enjoying their breakfasts. She walked over to her husband, and kissed him. "Good morning. I slept late today didn't I?" She asked.

"The kids were up early, I didn't want to wake you. It's been a long week," Jay kissed her back.

"It has indeed. I'm going to go take a quick shower, you'll get the other three dressed?"

"Absolutely," Jay nodded as Erin walked back upstairs. Okay munchkins, up into clothes. Move it, move it," Jay ushered as he grabbed Sam out of his high chair and followed the kids up the stairs. Jay walked into Sam's room and changed him out of his footsie pajamas and into jean pants and a t-shirt. He walked into the twin's room to see their progress in changing clothes. "You girls ready?"

"Of course we're ready," Emily explained. Jay looked at their outfits. Jessie was wearing her bright pink capri's with a navy blue CPD t-shirt. Emily was wearing purple and blue striped stockings with green shorts and a blue tank top.

"This is what you two want to wear?" Jay asked.

"Absolutely Daddy. Let's go watch some football," Jessie screamed.

"Jess, it's called soccer."

"Why did Uncle Adam say that Maddy was playing football?"

"Just use the word soccer Jess, okay?"

"Okay Daddy," Jessie said as she ran down the stairs in search of a pair of boots. Jay turned at the feeling of a hand on his shoulder.

"Is every one ready?" Erin asked.

"Yeah Mads and Jess are down stairs and here is Em," Jay smiled.

"So we're going to allow her to wear that?" Erin asked.

"I guess, why cripple their creativity?"

"Their? They are both dressed like that?" Erin questioned.

"Unfortunately," Jay nodded.

"Okay, well let's go then," Erin smiled. Erin and Jay followed Emily down the stairs. Maddy and Jessie were standing at the door ready for the day at the park. "Okay every body, into the car," Erin ushered the girls after grabbing her purse. The girls piled into their SUV, the twins in the back and Maddy and Sam in the middle row buckled in their car seats. Then they were off to the soccer field. As soon as they arrived Maddy had unbuckled herself and stood waiting for her mom to open the door. Once the door had opened Maddy had rushed out and over to her friends kicking a ball.

"We're in trouble, aren't we?" Jay came around to Erin with Sam in his arms.

"Yes, I believe we are," Erin smiled. She took Sam from Jay. "You better get over there coach, you're late," Erin kissed him and let him go. "Jess, Em, let's go watch a soccer game," Erin grabbed hold of her two daughter's hand in her single one and walked over to the bleachers to take a seat.

She watched her husband substitute kids in and out of the 4 year olds soccer game. She watched as Maddy and many of the other kids ran in circles not knowing exactly what to do. Soon after the game was over, Maddy ran over to her and the three other kids. "Mommy, we won. Did you see?" Maddy asked her mother.

"I watched the whole thing, you played very well. I'm so proud of you," Erin smiled as she bent down to give her a hug. Not long after Jay walked over and kissed his wife's head. "Nice job over there coach," Erin smiled.

"I do what I can," Jay laughed. "Okay little one's, we have a barbeque to attend. Every body back into the car," the kids wondered in the direction of the car. He took Sam from Erin, "How's my little man?" Jay tickled Sam and placed him in his car seat.

"And we're off to Grandpa's house," Erin declared as she climbed in the passenger seat.

"We're going to Grandpa's?" Emily asked from the back seat.

"Grandpa is having a happy birthday barbeque for Mommy," Jay proclaimed.

"It's your birthday Mommy?" Jess asked.

"Not until tomorrow, but Grandpa insisted," Erin sighed. Jay laughed, he knew just how much she hated to celebrate her birthday. She has hated it forever. Even though every year he and the kids went all out. No matter what they did she would always hate her birthday.

"Happy birthday Erin," Jay smiled as Erin walked into their apartment. After a long day at work Jay had begged Voight to let him off early so he could come home and cook Erin a dinner for her birthday.

"Jay, you know how much I hate to celebrate my birthday," She laughed.

"I know, I know. But I couldn't help it. You're my favorite girl; well soon you'll have two others to compete with. But, as of this moment, you are definitely my favorite girl," Jay leaned in to kiss her as he stood at the stove and flipped the chicken.

"Well, it does smell quite good in here. What are you making?" Erin smiled. Jay turned around and smiled. Chicken parm and spaghetti, Italian, one of your favorites.

"You're right, it is one of my favorites. But you are my favorite man every," Erin smiled. "You know, we can push dinner back a couple of hours," Erin suggested as she leaned down and kissed his cheek.

"What would be the fun in that? Once I get started, I don't know if I'll be able to stop. So no Erin Lindsay, we are not skipping this beautiful birthday dinner, for a beautiful birthday girl. Take a seat at the table, and I'll bring you a plate," he smiled and kissed her pouting lips.

"Fine," Erin pouted. "But this better be worth it."

"It will totally be worth it," Jay said as he walked up to the table and placed a plate of food in front of Erin and one at his place setting.

"This smells amazing," Erin smiled. "I can't believe you did this."

"I told you it'd be good," Jay sat down across from his wife and began to eat the food in front of him. He watched as Erin began doing the same. "Hey Er?" he questioned as Erin's head popped up. "Why don't you slow down, and maybe enjoy the food a little?"

"I am enjoying the food. It's fantastic. I am so glad you cooked. I was starving," she continued her mission to shoveling food into her mouth.

"And you wanted to skip dinner. You know that's not good for you or the babies," Jay reasoned as he continued to eat his dinner. He was returned with a glare from his wife. Dinner was continued in silence. Jay not wanting to anger Erin even more, and Erin wanting to finish her dinner so she could spend time with Jay. She cleaned her plate and stood to clear the dishes from the table. Her dish was loaded into the dishwasher as she felt an arm reach around her and a dish being placed next to hers. Soft lips place themselves on her neck and she heard Jay whisper in her ear, "clean up can wait 'till morning." Jay spun her around and placed his lips on hers.

"Take me to the bedroom Jay," Erin smiled into the kiss. Jay picked her up and brought her to their room. His hands traced the outline of her body starting at her hips and up to her shoulders, taking her shirt with him. He lifted her shirt of her head and discarded it next to their feet. He pushed her over to the bed and allowed her to lie down. Just as she relaxed into the bed he saw it and couldn't take his eyes off it. "Babe, I'm all for body appreciation, but get over here and kiss me already."

Jay's sauntered over to her and his hands rested on the swell of her stomach. "When did this get here?" He asked as he looked up into her eyes. She smiled.

"I don't know, I didn't notice it this morning," she watched his smile grow even bigger. "It's pretty amazing isn't it?" Erin asked as she saw Jay nod. "Make love to me babe," She smiled as he leaned in and kissed her with all he had.

"I know you always hate your birthday. That's why I try to make it special every year. Because I believe that one year you're going to look back and forget about your birthday's as a kid and only remember the one's we've spent together. And that will be your memory of your birthday, not some drugged up version of your mother," Jay looked over to his wife in the passenger seat and saw the tears in her eyes.

"I love you, you know that? I do appreciate everything you do for my birthday. I always have," she smiled.

"I know you do," Jay winked as he pulled into Voight's driveway. "Okay kids, let's go attack Grandpa," Jay declared as he allowed the kids out of the car. The three girls ran into the back to attack their Grandpa.

"You always have to do that don't you. You know how much he hates that," Erin smiled while Jay put his arm around her shoulder and carried Sam.

"I know, that's why I did it. He can dislike me, but he loves those little girls," Jay smiled as they entered the back yard.

"You're absolutely right. He loves those little girls," she smiled at him."

Once they stepped through the gates to Voight's backyard the heard the screams from all of their closest friends. "Happy birthday Erin," every body screamed. She turned to Voight.

"You said this was just going to be a small party, friends only."

"Happy birthday Erin," Voight said as he walked up to give her a hug.

"No, I'm mad at you. You know I hate my birthday," she pushed him away.

"Don't be mad at me, your husband did all of the planning," Voight pointed to Jay who was placing Sam on the ground to play with his cousins and sisters. Erin made the journey to her husband and gave him a shove.

"This was your idea?" Erin asked.

"I know you hate your birthday. But you've never had a proper party. Even with how special I make it every year, you have still never had a party. So I thought we'd come here with all your friends and family. Drop the kids off with Grandpa Hank, and have this Saturday night and Sunday morning all to ourselves," Jay winked.

"All to our selves huh?" Erin questioned.

"Yes, just you, me, and a bottle of wine. All night long," Jay leaned in for a kiss.

"That sounds amazing. Thank you for always making my birthday special. Even though it's my least favorite day of the year. You're too good to me Halstead, what would I do without you?"

"Well first things first, you'd never celebrate your birthday," She laughed and kissed his forehead.

"You and me babe, all night long. But for now, let's just enjoy our selves," Erin smiled as she walked away to go say hi to everyone. At the same time Jay dashed towards the kids and scooped up the twins. One in each arm as he heard their screams and saw their smiles.

"Daddy, put me down," Emily laughed as Jay spun her and her sister in a circle. Jay put the twins down and suddenly he had his three girls pile on top of him. Sam walked around his head trying to get in on the fun. While Jay was being attacked by his offspring, Erin had wondered her way towards the fun. She scooped up Sam and sat at Jay's head.

"Hey girls, I'm sure if you go ask Grandpa Hank nicely he'll give you some ice cream," the three girls froze and popped their head up.

"Ice cream?" All three asked in unison.

"Ice cream," she whispered. The girls stood up and ran towards their grandpa on the deck.

"Thank god that's over," Jay smiled.

"I didn't want to get you too tired before tonight," Erin leaned down and kissed him. "I love you."

"I love you too babe," Jay smiled.

YAY! Now that finals are over, and its summer, well almost summer, I still have 3 weeks of a class I need to finish by June for my major. I'll hopefully be updating more in the near future. But it's 80 degrees outside, and my roomie and I just bought a Frisbee, I might try to get some sun in. You know not be a hermit. Any way, let me know what you thought or if you have any suggestions.
