Six months later
Six months. That was how long they hadn't seen each other.
Of course it's not like Vivi hadn't heard from him during this whole time, they had written to each other, but it still didn't stop her from missing him anyway. She missed being near him, talking to him, touching him, hearing his voice.
Which is why as soon as the guard had announced the news of their return she was running through the corridors of the Palace, a big smile painted on her face, not caring about decorum and acting like a princess at all. She couldn't help it. He was back.
Kohza was back.
As she burst through the grand doors of the Palace she finally saw the group of men though only one hold her attention at the moment. She didn't pause as she ran down the stairs into the courtyard, calling out to him.
"Kohza !"
As he turned toward the sound of her voice she saw him smile briefly before they collided, as she throw herself into his arms, sending them both to the ground at the impact. However she didn't care. Neither did she for the sniggering and quiet, suppressed laughters that could be heard, because Kohza had put his arms around her thin waist, reciprocating the embrace.
"Vivi." He whispered with his low voice in her ear making her shiver at the sound of it and her grin even bigger if that was possible.
Kohza knew he should probably release his hold on Vivi so they could stand up properly or at least tell the guys to shut up, but Vivi seemed satisfied with ignoring them so he decided to do the same, after all it had been so long since the last time he held her, pressing her closer to him his nose brushing her neck as he took in her scent which was so undeniably Vivi.
The sound of a throat being cleared however had Vivi remember her manners and that their position was rather inappropriate in public. So she got up, Kohza doing the same once she wasn't on top of him anymore, and turned to face Chaka who looked rather amused by their conduct.
"His Majesty his ready to see you." He told Kohza.
The tall leader nodded and together the group made their way in the palace.
Vivi finally came around to greet the others, some she knew like Farafra, Sabasa and Eric, who didn't miss the chance to tease her.
"Ah if only I had someone to welcome me like that." He smirked.
"As if you'd be so lucky." Said Sabasa mockingly.
There where also the two soldiers accompanying the Minister that she didn't know. The older one presented himself as Tobira and second one as Wakai, the younger man seemed a little gobsmacked at the moment, or maybe he was always this quiet Vivi shrugged it off as she greeted them with a smile making Wakai blush.
As she turned to the last member of their group she was a bit surprised that a boy this young was traveling with Kohza, she wondered what the story was behind it, she'd have to ask Kohza later.
As she talked with them Kohza was conversing with Chaka beside her, but the two never farther than three step aside from the other.
Finally they reached the entrance of the Throne Room and entered, Kohza first followed by his men, severals seeming rather nervous. Vivi and Chaka staying a bit behind.
"Welcome back." The king greeted the group with a benevolent smile.
Later after the meeting with the King was over Vivi had finally found the chance to be alone with Kohza and had lead him to one of the inner courtyard for some peace and quiet time together. Hand in hand they stopped next to a fountain and Vivi came to stand before him, staring hungrily at his face as if to reassure herself that she hadn't forgotten any detail of it.
"I'm glad you're back." She said softly.
Kohza reached up to cup her cheek with his free hand before leaning to press his lips to hers. Vivi smiled into the gentle kiss, they were finally reunited once more.
