The Two Morons

By Samhoku

Disclaimer: I do not own Lord of the Rings or any of the characters. I have permission to use my sister and myself. xD

My comments: This one will probably be choppy as well. I will just focus on Samantha until the third story.

Reviewers: Excellent idea.

Chapter.

Samantha didn't like riding down the cobblestones on the horse, it was choppy and it made her feel like she would fall off. And the British saddle type thing was really messing her ankles and knees up. She had a sword now, she had decided to switch to that, it was perfectly balanced. Samantha decided she liked said blade. She was careful to avoid the horse and hit the Orcs.

Samantha didn't get out of this battle unscathed. She was very happy to see Gandalf shining like a light and coming to their aid. Samantha looked at the cut from the Orc blade, it had landed right on her leg, cutting a deep gash. She winced and held back tears as all the pain rushed in at once. Samantha steeled herself and tried to focus on something other then the pain. She continued to fight with a vengeance, deciding to focus on her sister. Where was she now? Samantha was starting to miss her sister.

When the battle was over Samantha didn't want to get off the horse. Gimili noticed the strange behavior first, coming from the teenager. He walked over to her and looked up at Samantha from the ground, "Lass, the horse needs medical attention." Samantha had made sure to position the horse so that way her hurt leg wasn't facing the small man.

Samantha nodded once and dismounted, Gimili started when he saw the massive wound. He also saw an arrow coming out of her arm, it had almost gone completely through. How he missed that, he didn't know. Gimili's mouth moved without words for a few moments before they seemed to explode out of his mouth, "Lass! Your leg!" He looked at her leg with a very concerned expression, "We must get ye to a doctor, Lassie."

Samantha wanted to become stubborn and refuse, but she sensed that would be a bad idea. She looked at her leg then at the arrow before looking back at Gimili, "I was going to refuse, but I am in a lot of pain."

Legolas walked over, about to tease Samantha mercilessly about being unable to be harmed in battle when he saw the wound. He looked at Gimili and said, "You have to get to a doctor, Lady Samantha."

"I am not a lady. I am Samantha." She limped away from the two, wincing in pain with every step. Gimili stopped the young lady and said, "Stay here, Lass. I will go get ye a doctor." Samantha swayed a little as she stood there, waiting. She started talking to the elf that had taken up residence next to her, "If I sit down I will get dirt in my leg, then I will have blood poisoning. I can't move my arm, it hurts too much. I have an arrow in my arm. It is gonna hurt. I don't like pain. I am allergic to it. Where is Gimili? I want Aragorn to come over here, he reminds me of my Dad. I am so ready to go home."

Legolas listened to the rambling and surmised it was a way to escape the pain, "Going to battle isn't a good way to avoid pain, little mortal." He then answered her question about Gimili, "I am sure he will be here soon, there are lots of wounded from this battle."

Samantha swayed a little more violently and Legolas caught her elbow to steady her, "Careful." He noticed that her eyes were dilating incorrectly, probably another result from the pain. He also noticed that she was trying to focus without success. Legolas snapped his fingers in front of her face, trying to regain her attention.

Samantha focused on his fingers and said, "I want to go home." She looked at Legolas and said pitifully, "Can't you just kill me? I want to die. Too much pain."

Aragorn came over and heard that part of the conversation, noticing her wounds. He looked at Legolas and asked sharply, "Why hasn't the doctor seen her yet?" The man picked Samantha up quickly, flinching when a sharp cry of pain emitted from her, he was careful to avoid her leg, but the shaft in her arm wedged through more.

It was as if the floodgates were let loose, Samantha started bawling her eyes out and Legolas followed Aragorn to the infirmary tent, seeming a little lost on what to do or say to have Samantha be silent.

Gimili was found arguing with the Doctor, "You do not understand, ye incompetent fool. Ye have plenty of other medicine people helping ye. This lass has a gash the size of me arm on her leg." When the Doctor saw them come in he instantly started working on her, seeing the damage. As he worked they could different lacerations. They were located on her upper back, her ankle, and the very back of her left shoulder blade had an impressive wound that would leave quite a scar.

Samantha noticed that her friends were about to leave her and whimpered, "Please don't leave." She wasn't aware that she was being checked all over, the pain clouding her sense, "I don't want you people to leave." Samantha reached out for them, seeming very sad. Aragorn left and brought back Eowyn, knowing that the women would take good care of Samantha.

Eowyn went instantly to her side and held her hands, "Focus on me, okay? Don't think about anything else."

As the three men left Gimili said in a sad voice, "I don't like seeing the lass in pain. If I ever had a daughter I would like her to have the same temperament."

Aragorn looked at Gimili, trying to imagine the dwarf ever getting married or having kids, "I can't see you as a father, master dwarf."

Legolas snorted and looked at them both, "Aragorn, you are being insensitive."
