Sorry bout the extremely long wait. My muse kind of died, came back to life and died before going to a separate story and then finally coming back.
Ok so here is the latest installment in Ghost child. I finally made it to chapter 10!

Ghost child 10
The pieces were set and the building had started under Shuuha and the Tenrai Chiken Fuuin's watchful eyes/sensing. Naruto's clones were good workers it seemed as they worked quietly and efficiently. Mana could be heard in the background arguing with the real Naruto about something. Of course nothing ever goes as planned for anyone trying to get away from something.
Naruto-san, you need to hurry. I sense multiple Greshi coming from the tunnels. It won't be long until they get to the surface. You will not be able to guard the ship and yourself at the same time. Scouts may be coming soon. Be careful.
Naruto looked at his clones as they each stopped for a moment to process what they had just been told. How in the world did they find the cave? They had come from the tower through the ground. It was a random cave that they had found after searching and now the Greshi had found it? That wasn't something he could tolerate right now. Looking back at his clones each nodded and moved at double the pace they had been at before.
Looking at his grandmother and locking eyes with her a silent conversation took place. After a moment Mana sighed and nodded to his silent statement. Naruto nodded back and went to the entrance to the cave. The entrance wasn't anything special as it was about seven feet tall at its highest point and six feet wide at its mouth.
Naruto took a look around and silently made three shadow clones. He nodded at each of them before they took off in a seemingly random direction with determination plain on their faces. They were tasked for guerrilla warfare against the Greshi. Slow them down, snipe them with kunai, shuriken and gather information on them, numbers weapons, everything that could help in getting out of the island safely.
Nodding after they went he made his way back inside to see Shuuha's eyes practically flying over his clones with how fast they were spinning in her eye sockets. Walking over to a series of racks he stood in front of the first, browsing what it held.
The rack itself was about seven feet tall and six feet wide and painted black with scrolls on the bottom labeled differently. On the rack were Katanas and swords mostly while some were longer than others or shorter. The rack behind it held daggers, kunai and shuriken. The third rack had both large and small war fans. The fourth held whips and chained weapons. The fifth held staves. Sixth had war hammers. The last had bows. And they were all beautifully made. But he had other things to do than awe at the weapons craftsmanship.
He browsed the weapons before taking five things, a scroll of kunai and shuriken, a long bow, two smaller war fan that could fit in his hand so he could wield two at a time, and a katana. Each weapon had a focus in his skill set. The kunai and shuriken were taijutsu benefits, the fans were for his wind affinity, the bow he got for his lightning affinity, and the katana was for his water affinity. He wanted to see if he could duplicate the effects of Ryuu Enkai's mastery of water in a sword. The fans were going to be a project of his to see if he could use them to influence larger wind attacks with smaller weapons. The bow for his lightning affinity was probably going to be the hardest to master as it would mean countless repetitions with the weapon to make sure he wouldn't even get a small error while focusing lightning chakra into each arrow for the highest piercing power possible for each shot. Needless to say he had a lot to work on in the future to keep him busy.
It was an hour before the ship was ready to be sealed. Part of the boat could only be truly attached in the water so they had finished all they could before they had to leave. Taking a rather large sealing scroll from nearby Naruto sealed the smallish boat into it for travel and then looked at everyone else in the room. Shuuha was smiling, a little tense at the prospect of Greshi coming but held it together. Awai was smiling a bit brighter than Shuuha though she looked to be ready for the coming battle to escape the island. Arashi was bouncing on her heels at the prospect of going outside. She had been cooped up too long and was a little claustrophobic because of her elemental nature. She held it in as best she could and the training helped as it kept her mind busy while in the cave. Mana looked positively giddy at the chance to get away from the island and go on an adventure.
"Well, it's as ready as it's going to be outside of the water, Naruto-sama. Shall we get going then?" Shuuha asked with a smile as she looked at him.
He smiled back and nodded. "Baa-sama can you carry the scrolls that hold the boat? I want the best fighter protecting it." He said turning to Mana.
"Sure thing Naru-chan." She said pouting after a second at not getting a reaction from the name.
The group moved forward. Each one ready to fight to escape the island. At the mouth of the cave they heard the seal speak again.
I'm afraid that they are getting closer to finding this cave. You need to leave otherwise you will soon be surrounded. I will keep you updated on where they are. Good luck Uzumaki-san.
Smiling fondly back to where the village tower is in the distance Naruto bowed slightly and began walking forward to lead the group with a determined look in his eyes.
"Let's go." He said as they all jumped forward. It would take a while to get to the shore while moving quietly enough so as not to attract attention.
-GC-
'CAN'T ANYTHING EVER GO AS PLANNED!' Naruto screamed in his mind as he jumped to avoid the two descending blades of the Greshi. These two were a yellow color on their skin and had brown eyes. Lightning nature. It had only been ten minutes before he heard the now familiar snarling of the Greshi.
Unsealing his twin fans he grabbed them both and shot wind techniques at them sending them flying away from him. Landing on the ground the two Greshi shot up and snarled at him before he took out his sword and started to engage them again. Each one was tough, as he constantly had to use his strength enhancing technique to keep them back and keep enough speed to deal with them both at the same time. It was difficult for the boy as each wanted to destroy him equally, they didn't really seem to want the glory for the kill just for him to be dead. As such their teamwork against him was annoyingly well done. If he weren't so pressed for space he would compliment them on it.
It seemed luck was on his side as a different Greshi came sailing towards their battle and smacked one of them away momentarily stunning the other at the action. The moment was enough for Naruto to sneak in and kill him sneaking toward the other two.
They shot up quickly, one snarling in a different direction while the one that he hit was snarling at Naruto. Seeing no way to end it as quickly as possible he moved forward against them. He got lucky as a kunai sailed through the air and landed in the spine of the one that had hit his second opponent. They reacted quickly and Naruto ended up killing him and looking around seeing the handiwork of his grandmother. He sweat dropped at what he was seeing.
The Greshi were on the ground holding their faces their swords forgotten on the ground as Mana danced around them slashing victoriously ending life after life laughing like a madwoman. Each one had apparently been poked in the eye.
Hell hath no fury like an Uzumaki woman whose family is in danger.
Now Mana had upmost confidence in her grandson. He had managed to separate his chakra and not completely screw up his chakra system because of it. The last people she knew who tried using raw yin or yang chakra was sent to the hospital because of their chakra system being screwed up all to hell because of the different potent chakras running directly through the coils. Apparently the chakra system isn't really made for yin or yang chakra to run through it. It was made for a combination of it, not the different potent energies that made it up.
However. No one would ever threaten her grandson while she was in hearing range. She had seen some of the sadness that was in his eyes at times. She was going to fill that hole of lost family to him. Even if she had to beat/prank the crap out of whoever raised him to do it.
So she just laughed as the group kept making their way toward the shore dancing, dodging and killing everything in their way. The group managed to find the shore they came in on and saw part of the remains of their ship here. But they neglected that as they kept running to the water an army of Greshi behind them.
"I knew it! We came, we saw, we ran away like little girls!" Arashi screamed out as Awai and Shuuha chuckled and Mana laughed like a maniac.
"Hey! You think they would be nicer if we left presents for them?" Awai yelled back getting a little more laughter from the group.
"Well look at it this way! At least your getting your exercise on the beach like you always wanted Shuuha!" Naruto yelled to Shuuha as they all had a laugh at that.
"Really?! You like to as well Shuu-chan?!" Mana yelled excitedly "I love working out on the beach. Come on next time I'll take you with me!" she didn't get to see Shuuha paling a little as everyone else laughed a little at her expense.
Of course their banter kept going the entire time they were on the beach running to the water with the Greshi behind them laughing all the way.
It only took a few more seconds for them to get to the water as they started water walking on it and kept running away from the monsters who had stopped at the water line.
The group slowed a little as they looked back to see the Greshi still snarling at them but this time not running after them. They looked between each other and started laughing again. This time in relief at not being chased on the water. While Naruto wasn't sure about Awai and Arashi he was sure probably only Shuuha and his grandmother could walk on top of whirlpools. "Ok gang let's set up the ship. Baa-sama if you would please?"
They had stopped at a good distance from the Greshi but still out on the water. Grabbing the scroll from her back Mana unsealed the mostly finished ship. She also got out a different scroll and unsealed something else. Naruto could only sweat drop at what it was.
"Really baa-sama? Really?" Naruto said as he looked at the fake eye patched and hook hand that she now had on herself.
"Hell yes! You think I wouldn't come prepared for something like this?! The Uzumaki were an island nation. We loved pranks and we loved having fun. Of course I will have these. Plus it helps during the night as well." She said before doing thumbs up and laughing like an idiot. Naruto could only sigh at his grandmother's actions.
'I beat the fun into Shoji-kun and I can do it to you too Naru-chan! You will have fun!' she thought before going back to laughing while wearing her pirate outfit.

Hours later the ship was finished with the last bit of building and it was ready to leave for Wave country again. Sailing through the waters this time was a little bit easier because of both Shuuha and Mana helping out instead of just Shuuha steering the ship through the whirlpools. It took a little longer than the trip there but they managed to make it to Wave in 2 days because Naruto didn't want to risk getting stuck in some of the whirlpools that could easily destroy the ship and then water walk the rest of the way to Wave country. Though the night was filled with everyone singing and dancing pirate songs and dances that Mana taught everyone while they sailed.
At last the Wave country's shore came into view. They all gathered their gear as shadow clones manned the ship sailing it to the shore. After grabbing their gear Naruto and the group proceeded to help the clones get the ship closer to land as the time passed.
A half hour later the ship was docked and they were ready to go… though some more than others.
"I'M FINALLY OFF THAT ISLAND! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA TAKE THAT SHOJI-KUN!" Mana screamed as she danced on the beach. Naruto and the girls could only watch in bewilderment at the sight.
"Uh, Baa-sama, who is Shoji?" Naruto asked. And just like that her dancing stopped and she smiled lightly at the memory of her husband.
"Shoji-kun was my husband. While I was the kage he was busy being a sealing genius. He made some of the greatest seals ever known to the Uzumaki clan. The Tenrai Chiken Fuuin is one of them." She said giving an example of her husbands work to their now gaping faces.
Naruto though was a little wide eyed. "Wait. You said that you designed the seal. How did he make it if you designed it?
"Ok I might have lied a bit about that part. I was the inspiration for it. Though I had no idea he took the idea seriously. I had jokingly said one day that it would be cool to have a sentient seal to help with the village defenses and be a history keeper. He got a far away look in his eyes before getting up and leaving to his 'laboratory'." She said a little sheepish about lying about that part. Though she did smile a bit after a moment. "He gave it to me as a anniversary present on our tenth year together. Ten months after I gave him the idea."
Laughing a bit at that Naruto asked another question. "What was he like?"
"When I met him he was to nicely put it an anti-social fuuinjutsu genius. He was only a non-social fuuinjutsu genius when we married. The most fun if not the best part about him was that he was short. He maxed out at 5'5'' fully grown. The smallest Uzumaki ninja ever. And many, many people mocked him for it." At this she started laughing like crazy for a minute. Seeing their confused faces she explained. "OH he was short yes but he had a pranking streak to anyone that mocked or insulted him. Oh it was great. He made a seal that when applied rearranged its kanji to spell out 'Property of Shoji Uzumaki Hands OFF!'" at this everyone laughed a small amount Mana being the loudest.
"Oh it was glorious. Note to all of you: never piss of an Uzumaki sealing genius, especially if you want them to do something for you. And always always bring something they want in return. Shoji-kun's was a new scroll on chakra theory, sealing brushes, or new sealing paper. He was a black hole for all things related to learning something new that could deal with sealing." Seeing a different look in her granson's eyes that she saw many a times in her husband she could only hope that she was wrong when she asked, "What's wrong Naruto?"
Naruto only shook his head. "Nothing at all. He seems like a knowledgeable person to debate with." He said getting a pale face from his grandmother.
"Oh dear not you too?! He said the same thing before he would bring up something to argue about and then engage them in a debate that would lead to the near annihilation of the area." She yelled in shock pointing at him accusingly getting three nods and an innocent face from her grandson.
"What?" he asked simply, the perfect face of innocence on his face and a genjutsu halo over his head.

Only small talk happened after that as they managed to get to the forest heading for the cottage where his True Clone was with the kids. Not long passed and they reached the cottage as Naruto and the gang reached the small house that was noticeably a bit bigger than when he left it. It was now two floors tall and twice as wide as before. Raising an eyebrow Naruto walked up to the door and knocked deciding to be polite to his clone and the kids. He wasn't ready for the response.
"I'LL GET IT!" a small voice shouted beyond the door. Not five seconds later the door opened to a little girl about 4'9'' with light brown hair and green eyes. She took one look at Naruto and closed the door again. Naruto and his group could only sweat drop at the girl's action. This time the voice they heard was more in a panic "NII-CHAN! THERE'S A GUY AT THE DOOR THAT LOOKS JUST LIKE YOU DO!" the child's voice was getting farther away as she spoke.
"... Naru-chan are you sure this is the right place?" Mana asked her grandson.
"Yeah it's the right place. Yuma is just a little forgetful sometimes." He said with a small smile on his face.
Steps were heard coming down from inside the house as Naruto perked his head up. Not a moment later the door opened showing Naruto's True Clone panting a little. "Sorry about that boss. They are little angels with devil wings and forgetful memories if left alone for a minute." It said while Naruto nodded and Mana was starry-eyed staring at the child partially hiding behind her grandson. She was currently a little red in the face remembering what he had told them about clones. It didn't last long though as she started twitching madly.
"…Wait a minute. You left us alone with a CLONE!?" she raged as four other little girls came into the room just in time to hear her exclamation. The silence was sudden for a few moments before one of the kids spoke up.
"THERE'S TWO NII-CHANS! I CALL THE ONE WITH THE PRETTY NEE-CHANS!" a 4'5'' girl with brown hair and brown eyes called glomping the real Naruto completely ignoring what was previously stated.
And just like that the entire mood of the room was dissolved into laughter at the girl's actions.
And then there was a shout of "KAWAIIII!" Mana shouted from behind Naruto and nearly teleported next to Naruto picking the child up and hugging her close spinning all the while.
"Baa-sama please put Kyoko-chan down." Naruto said, "you're scaring the poor girl."
"But, But, But, But, But I don wanna." She said holding her closer with comical tear filling her eyes yet not falling and pouting.
Again silence reigned supreme over the actions of Naruto's grandmother. Kyoka who asked the question on everyone's mind, "Your Nii-chan's baa-chan?" broke it while still in her hold.
"Yup. Proudest grandmother you will ever find." She said beaming with pride at her grandson.
"So will you be our Baa-chan too?"
Silence.
Mana acted out in her usual fashion by screaming at the top of her lungs "HELL YES! EAT THAT SHOJI-KUN I GOT ME ADOPTED GRANDKIDS! HAHAHAHAHA!" she screamed to the ceiling laughing madly before stopping abruptly staring at the other children who merely twitched at her stare, and then ran over to them grabbing them all in a big bear hug while lifting them off the ground and swinging them through the air her eyes filled with unending joy.
"Naruto-kun, should we stop her?" Arashi asked from the open door where everyone was staring at the spectacle that was Naruto's grandmother.
"Nah… they look like they're having fun." Naruto replied as the kids were thrown in the air now giggling madly as Mana caught each one before throwing them up into the air again. Their faces were filled with joy and laughter. "They're doing just fine." He said before he started to walk to the staircase to his bedroom to unpack and settle down for a while. Giggling could still be heard from the distance making Naruto smile.

"Pa, Did you feel that?" a small female toad asked.
"I felt it Ma. That shouldn't be possible. How did one place suddenly have so much natural energy? It's like the place was given life energy to the plants from something. We need to tell Jiraya-boy." A male toad responded. 'Who in their right minds would mess with natural energy? Who even knows of it outside of the toad clan?' The toad thought worriedly his white eyebrows knotted together in confusion and worry.
Flipping through a few hand signs his palm met the ground as smoke rose from the floor showing their perverted student Jiraya.
"Jiraya-boy we need you to check something out for us." The male toad said getting straight to the point skipping all types of greetings for now. This was serious.
Jiraya could tell it was serious as well as he saw the female toads furrowed face as she looked at him. Turning serious as well he spoke, "What do you need Fukasaku-sama?"
"We need you to go to the land or whirlpools and test out the natural energy there. There was a sudden jump in the amount of energy there and we need to know the source of it."
"I'm on it Fukasaku-sama." Jiraya said right before he poofed back to Konoha.
-GC-
"…Alright I'll allow it. I still don't understand why you need to go there all of a sudden but I won't question the sages orders." Minato said with his wife behind him. Going to Uzu alone would be near impossible if you weren't an Uzumaki so Jiraya asked if he could have Kushina to come with him to check out her homeland. He had no true interest in the sudden surge of natural energy. Curiosity maybe but he didn't see the real importance of it. He wasn't trained as a sage by the toads so he didn't know as much about natural energy as Jiraya did and Kushina would be able to handle herself in her homeland without any trouble.
He hoped that it didn't last long. Something about Uzu set his danger bells off.
-GC-
It only took 5 days to reach Uzu since Kushina knew every which way in and out of the land. The vegetation was new to Kushina who hadn't been here in a while. She wasn't exactly happy to be there either since she wanted to stay near Narutmi and help her train and be a general mother to her like she hadn't been to Naruto.
Naruto.
Kushina shook her head. It wouldn't do to get sidetracked right now. Especially with the pervert next to her watching her. Walking along the road to her village she suddenly paused when she noticed the ground. Looking down she saw it more clearly 'footprints? Who set foot here before me? I haven't brought Narumi here yet and Naruto is … he can't come. So that leaves whom? Kushina saw the footprints leading off the path toward the woods. Her interest peaked she stopped and called out to Jiraya. "Ero-sennin, There are some tracks here. I don't like to believe that people have been desecrating my ancestor's home I'm going to follow." She said before jumping away leaving Jiraya to choose between following her and following whoever had been here before her, or going to the village summoning ma and pa and finding the source of nature energy.
Jiraya picked to follow Kushina. He did not want anything to happen to her while she was out of the village. The gaki would kill him if something happened to her here.
As Kushina followed the tracks through the woods she came upon a clearing. The clearing was in a circular shape with the trees on the sides growing a bit larger than the ones further in the woods. It was odd. Though when she walked into the clearing she felt something in the clearing was different. She couldn't tell what but it was different. Looking at the ground for the tracks she found them stopping at what looked like the center of the clearing. A small tree stood where the tracks ended its branches lifting into the sky with odd bright blue leaves it was an odd little tree with a bulge in the middle about two times the trunk width. She put her hand on the tree's bark and felt something touching her back. Like when two people put their palms together. Freaked out a little she stumbled back and then she felt tears coming unbidden to her eyes. A deep sorrow had taken hold of her and she could do nothing about it. She forgot about everything at that moment aside for the sorrow she felt.
She couldn't take it anymore. Her neglect of parenting, Naruto's suffering, Naruto's passing. Everything was coming back at once and she couldn't stop it.
She cried.
Her eyes streaming tears as she stood with her knees weak on the grass. She walked towards the tree and hugged it. An odd gesture for a tree but somewhere in her mind it was right. The tree felt familiar to her somehow. Then she felt it. A pull. Like what happened when the Kyuubi wanted to talk to her. She let her conscious fade as she stood still holding the tree.
When she opened her eyes she only saw lights all around her like she was in a festival and the lights were everywhere. There was no darkness, only joy and light everywhere she looked.
Baa-chan!
"Huh?" she asked intelligently. She heard the voices speak around her. Like many voices speaking at once.
Baa-chan!
Again the voices came and went. They sounded so cheerful. Happy to be alive even.
Baa-chan!
She kept looking around for the origin of the voices but could never reach or see them there were only lights everywhere. Some she noticed were moving but still how could lights make sound? So she tried responding, "Hello?"
All of the lights she saw moving stopped at the sound. The lights turned and looked at her. She felt like a thousand pairs of eyes were watching her.
BAA-CHAN!
This time the voices seemed to yell as if they had found her after looking as if they were blind. She felt a rush and closed her eyes suddenly feeling cold. Opening them back up she saw Minato and Jiraya looking at her with wide eyes. She wasn't hugging the tree anymore either. She was on the ground sweat trailing down her arm's as she looked a little panicked at her husband. "They called me baa-chan-" Was all she said before she felt her strength leaving her as black entered her vision.
A few minutes prior
It was not Jiraya's day. First off he couldn't do any research for his next book coming out soon and his back started acting up, his chakra was acting weirdly here for no apparent reason and now he couldn't find Kushina. Twitching he called his chakra and summoned the two toad sages, Ma and Pa.
"Jiraya-boy!" Pa said in shock. "It's here!" and in tandem with his wife he hopped through the trees in a complete opposite direction than where he was going originally.
After a few minutes of jumping/hopping they began to hear crying. Getting closer to the source Pa and Ma hopped onto the ground and looked around in what looked like awe for the two sages.
"Jiraya-boy, this place. It has so much life. Can you feel it?" Pa said as he and Ma looked towards Jiraya who was walking away from them currently. "Jiraya-boy?" Pa said in curiosity at what he was doing. Then he saw it.
In the middle of the clearing was Kushina hugging a tree with blue leaves with a bulge in the middle. Its branches hanging low as if trying to hug Kushina back. She was standing stock still and the crying they heard from earlier was no longer present as they could see wonder on her face. The odd thing for the sages though they could practically feel the nature energy oozing out of the tree like too much water in a cup. Overflowing and spilling everywhere. Though that's not what had him worried. The nature energy was spilling into Kushina!
"Jiraya-boy! Summon me back in twenty seconds! In the mean time try and get Kushina off of this tree!" he shouted to his student before disappearing to the toad mountain again. In this time Ma had taken to try and get Kushina off of the tree and was succeeding partially as Kushina's hands were curling around the tree like she was trying to hold it. Exactly twenty seconds later Jiraya slammed his hands on the floor summoning Pa who had a black stick in his hands as he tapped Kushina on the side with the stick just as she released the tree.
Getting a three-pronged kunai out of his pouch Jiraya threw the kunai at a tree that produced a yellow flash showing the Yondaime Hokage in all his glory standing there as he rushed towards his wife.
"Sensei what happened?" he said not looking away from Kushina.
"I don't know Minato." He said right before Kushina woke with a start looking panicked just as she saw Minato and Jiraya standing over her she managed to whisper out.
"They called me baa-chan-" right before she passed out.
"Who called her grandma?" Minato asked very confused on how he could be a grandfather when his kids… kid was thirteen.
"Shima-chan we need to go sage here to figure out what's going on." He said before his wife turned on him.
"And just when do you expect us to do that when I have to get back to cook for us?" she said as her danger senses weren't going off so it was back to old couple bickering for them.
It went on for a few minutes, as Minato merely looked on at the centuries old couple. Finally Ma agreed to go sage as she clapped her hands together to gather her sage energy. It was remarkably easy as the area had a veritable ton of nature energy. Opening her eyes Ma and Pa now really looked at the environment. The whole place was swamped in nature energy. It wasn't forced or unnatural it was pure life it was beautiful to the sages as tears of joy came to Shima's eyes as she looked down at the grass beneath them.
She and Pa could see what the others couldn't. The grass was reaching. As if it was trying to hold something. Putting her palm on the ground she watched amazed as the grass curled around her hand and she could feel the energy flowing into her hand from the grass. "PA! Look at this!" she said after pulling her hand out of the grasses grip and cutting the energy flow into her system. She lowered her hand and everyone watched as the grass curled around her hand and Pa could see the nature energy flowing into her. Astonished he looked down to see the same sight as his wife. The grass was reaching upwards. Wiggling a small amount like some children would do in order to reach higher. Pa lowered his hand gently down into the grass and felt the same as his wife as nature energy flowed into his system. While it wasn't the same energy as Toad Mountain it was nature energy and just as potent. It also seemed like the energy was… happy.
"Ma, do you feel it?" he asked his wife completely ignoring Jiraya and Minato's stares of utter confusion.
"I do. It's happy. Nature itself is happy here." She said with an approving smile as she looked at her husband.
All things end be it good or bad it seemed as the energy soon turned blank as they both sensed something coming towards them.
Opening their eyes Pa and Ma saw the creatures that were coming through the woods. They were tall, standing at about a 6'2'' or higher, with blue skin with red eyes glaring at their surroundings. They were wearing leather clothes with a serrated sword hanging off their belts. They were imposing sights. Muscled blue-people walking forward with swords dangling off their belts.
"What are they?" Pa asked no one in particular getting everyone's attention in the process. Minato stood over Kushina like a guard while Jiraya walked forward to stand with the two sages.
"Greshi."
"Kushina!" Minato said as he kneeled beside her.
"This is no time for me to be down on the job Mina-kun. Jiraya, do not show them any mercy. The Greshi have been on this island for a long time. They were a part of the reason for the destruction of Uzu. Hold nothing back against them." She said as she got up. She could remember the vision but was not hampered by it as she had other things to worry about right now.
Just as the Greshi reached the edge of the clearing their eyes widened a bit as if just now seeing them, which confused both Ma and Pa a little but filed it away for later. Snarling now they drew their swords and charged the people stomping on the grass towards the three sages and the couple.

Naruto now stood in the destroyed clearing that was his practice space while he was here. Sitting down in the clearing he started to meditate and separate the energies that made up his chakra. It was much less painful this time and much less of a kick to his system though he still had to concentrate on where to send the energies. Surging his power through each arm he focused and brought it to his palms again like he did on Uzu. Only this time he had more control of the flow and excess energies that spilled through his grip. Hopefully he wouldn't black out this time and could see the result of his work through his eyes instead of those by his clone.
Peeking over a fallen trunk the girls watched with bated breath as their Nii-chan finally showed them the result of all his meditation and odd practice over the last few weeks. Awai stood behind them with a smile on her face as she watched the kids looking at her summoner with anticipation. Shuuha was lying on her back waiting for the power to start flowing. Arashi and Mana were with the kids in peeking just over the trunk of a fallen tree during his practice. Naruto usually snuck out at night to practice this but the girls decided to stay up and watch him this time with Mana supervising.
Starting the show his eyes closed and he moved his palms down into the earth beneath him. The grass was gone but the soil was still fertile and moist from so much water surrounding the island. Slowly at first he started pouring his energy into the soil. Immediately the ground responded.
Small shoots of green sprouted around him as he continually poured his energy to each side. With his left being the higher of the two sides and his right the grass budding into small green flowers.
Mana could see the same segregation of the two sides as the first time when he did it only this time he had a little more chakra available because of him not using two to watch him. He hadn't made any clones this time, as he didn't want to do anything to hamper how much chakra he had available to him. He hadn't noticed but his chakra was smoother in coming out this time as if actually pouring his energy instead of pushing it.
The kids were awed at the scene where their Nii-chan was. This was AWESOME! All of the kids had wide eyes and their mouths partially dropped in sync when the bulbs on the right side of the clearing bloomed into small green flowers.
The scene continued until Naruto stopped channeling his energy and a little shakily stood up and looked around. "Hm… that's interesting. Yang is life hence the growth of the grass while the Yin gives shape and spirit to the grass blades. Did the change in Yin give them different shapes to grow into, I wonder?" he muttered to himself as he was looking around just as he was about to turn around he stopped suddenly. At the center where he had put his hands down was a separate white flower from the green flowers on his right. "Now what are you I wonder?" he asked the little flower.
Crouching down he focused on the little flower it was unlike any flower he had seen before. The petals were a pure white and the stalk was white too! It didn't have any leaves on it growing out the side like most flowers did. It was weird! Leaving the flower for now he set his mind to watch it and to not use this clearing for anything other than his Yin-Yang training. The smaller fluctuation in his energies combining back into its chakra form was a surprising as he felt it was a lot smaller. The last time it was the collateral of the energies colliding again that made him pass out. This time they stayed separate for a while longer. He made a mental note of it before turning around to see the jaw dropped faces of the children, the elementals and his grandmother. Not really fazed at seeing them he merely nodded and said. "Well its nearly bed time so pick up your jaws and come on." After he passed them of course a small smile snuck onto his features at seeing the little ones awed faces.

Not a week after the fiasco on Uzu, Jiraya summoned the elder toads again for some reason.
"Jiraya-boy! It's happening again!" both elder toads spoke at once
"Where to? And do we bring anyone else? We might need back up if someone is able to mess with the natural balance on nature energy." He asked.
Looking at one another for a moment before nodding to Jiraya who quickly headed to Konoha for Minato and Kushina. If the Nature energy 'liked' her at Uzu then maybe she could do something about the new one.
Now that it was clear and just happened maybe this time they could find out just who could mess with the nature energy in a place. Wouldn't that be a nice surprise?
Ok… how was it? Next chapter brings the confrontation between Naruto, the sages and his parents. What will happen I wonder?
Review and have a good day.
