"Shit shit shit Hanna! Why is she home so early?"
They both rush to get clothes on and make theirselves presentable enough to go down and speak to Hanna's mother. Hanna said "Em if I knew the answer to that do you think I would be looking just as dumbfounded as you?!"
"Sorry it's just that was very embarrassing and I know it's embarrassing for you too I shouldn't have jumped down your throat about it...do you forgive me?" She pouts a little knowing that Hanna can't resist that face, even when they were kids it was undeniable.
"Of course I forgive you lets just get this over with now." Emily thought for a moment and said "do you think I should stay or..." Hanna responded " as much as I would love for you to survive this with me I think it would be best if you did leave I'll walk you downstairs and text you when it's clear"
"Okay just remember I love you" and "i love you more", they kissed one last time before heading downstairs. Emily was less than a foot away from the door she heard " Not so fast you two get your butts over here!" Emily and Hanna looked at each other and walked over to Ashley Marin with heads down and hands fidgeting.
Ashely was leaning on the kitchen island with both hands resting on the edge of it. The girls stopped in front of and she told them to have a seat. Ashley starts to speak "So this is how it is. You make sure the coast is clear so you can screw around while I'm not here! I've been very lenient with this because I trusted you two enough for you not to go there like this!"
The room fell silent and Ashley was very disappointed, which made the girls feel very guilty. They both apologized at the same time but Ashley gave them a look and they both got quiet. Hanna let out a big sigh and spoke first. She proceeded by saying, "Mom we're sooo sorry. It was all my fault I brought Emily her and seduced her to come and make love to me in my room-" she was cut off by a very rosy red Emily.
She gasped at Hanna's boldness yet again. She physically face palmed her self while her girlfriend was giving her a what did I do face. Emily continued the apology " we shouldn't have done this under your roof. We are very considerate on how you took the news of us being together, and we shouldn't take advantage of that. Again I'm very sorry and I'll be heading home now.."
Ashley felt bad for making Emily so upset and Hanna was just about to protest when Ashley spoke up "Emily wait!" Emily turned around on her heel made eye contact with Hanna first then Ms. Marin. " I'm not trying to make you feel unwanted or uncomfortable here, that's just a lot to take in as a mother I hope you can understand that for right now.."
Emily nodded and proceeded to leave and Hanna walked her out. Hanna apologized for her mother and they kissed and Emily went home instead of going back to school. It had already been a long day and there's no point in her going back because the school day is almost over. As soon as she walked through the door she noticed her mom at the table. Her mom glanced at her watch.
"Emily you're home early! Are you sick or something?" She felt her head for fever. Emily lied and said she was sick because she was definitely not going to tell her mom about the recent events that unraveled.
She was heading up the stairs to her room. Out the corner of her eye she saw her mom opening a Manila envelope, but she thought nothing of it. She continued to walk up the stairs and her mother gasped and told her to come quick.
Apparently in the envelope were the same pictures that -A sent Aria and Spencer received, but they were blown up and there were more scattered across the kitchen table.
Emily had a shocked expression on her face she thought this day couldn't get any worse. But -A knew just how to rattle the cage even more. The first words that left Emily's mouth after this awkward exchange of silence was," Mom I can explain!"
