Hey guys! Long time no see! I'm really excited for this chapter because it's the big fight! There's only four more chapters after this! Then it's off to Evil Futago of Green!
But this chapter is kind of gruesome, and bloody. Just a warning, but please enjoy!
Nobodies POV
Kurami sat at her throne, bored, she sighed, finding nothing to entertain her. Kolby and Amaya were playing, Wu sat in meditation chained to the wall, and Haley the girl Kurami despised stood up against the wall on the other side of the room. Her uncle got in the way when Kurami tried to finish her off. Though mentally crazy he still loved his niece as if she was his own daughter.
"Kurami!" a dark voice boomed.
"What do you need Garmadon?" Kurami asked
A cloud of black smoke exploded next Kurami. "Where are my stones?!" Garmadon shouted furiously
"They are my stones, and they're almost here." Kurami stopped, "I've also gotten the Moirai to kill off the ninja." Kurami praised herself
"I swear, if you or any of your pathetic army touches my son-" Garmadon threatened, but was cut off when Kurami interrupted him.
"Don't worry, Lloyd will be perfectly fine." Kurami reassured Garmadon, who gave Kurami a look that could kill and then vanished. Kurami laughed, once Garmadon was gone, "For now." Kurami laughed.
"Upsetting the balance could cause damage to the world you wish to rule." Wu spoke wisely, not moving from his meditation position.
"You old fool. I don't want to rule the world, that's Garmadon's dream. I wish to make my sister suffer; starting with our brother. My revenge will bring her to her knees, and I will win the battle, and nobody's going to stop me." Kurami laughed as Wu stared at her in shock.
Nobodies POV
The hero's walked through the portal, devastated that their beloved friends were left behind to die. Still in shock, they hadn't bothered to look at the new dimension they were in.
"What's the next stone?" Cole asked being the leader he had to get his teammates back on their feet, ready for anything.
"According to Haley's notes, it's the," Taylor stopped and let out a loud sigh, "the stone of death."
As soon as the word death came from Taylor's lips, their heads snapped up. Not even paying attention, they were in the middle of a grave yard, except, the bodies weren't buried. They were on the ground, mangled and twisted, covered in blood. The last dimension was devastation, but this one was just brutal. The girls couldn't help but to let out their held in sobs and the guys stared in shock.
"Where could it be?" Lloyd asked looking at the helpless bodies.
"I'm not sure; I guess we need to keep looking." Nya swallowed her sobs
Clock Tower
"J.D, get your army ready and find the ninja, and destroy them!" Kurami demanded. "Yes master." J.D bowed and scurried off.
"What do you want me to do master?" Haley asked
"Stay here and save your strength. You'll need it." Kurami hissed
"Yes master" Haley muttered under her breath.
Kurami rolled her eyes, and turned to Wu, who had his head bowed, "Get ready Wu, your precious ninja will die, and you have a front row seat." Kurami smirked
"The ninja will defeat you, and the balance will be restored." Wu argued
"Say what you think, but as we speak the ninja are facing the end of their lives. The
stones will be set in place and I will win!" Kurami smiled
"Master, the stones are set in up and ready for the rest of the stones. The Demonic
Change is upon us and Garmadon has concluded that the shadows are ready to be released." A solider bowed.
"Perfect, you are dismissed." Kurami shooed the solider away.
Nobodies POV
The ninja continued to walk, stepping over dead bodies and covering their noses from the foul smells that came from the spoiled bodies. Their once clean shoes were now soiled by the blood. The girls swallowed their sobs and only stayed strong from the comforting touch of their lover's hands that intertwined with theirs.
Suddenly an arrow came racing towards the group, and impaled itself into Ashley's shoulder, she cried out in pain as the soldiers surrounded them from the rooftops. "Get down!" Cole shouted as a herd of arrows came towards them. Once covered by the rain of arrows Ashley pulled the arrow out of her shoulder and threw it to the ground.
"Dang Kai, your girlfriend is a bad ass!" Jay chuckled.
"Not the time Jay." Kai growled
"Are you guys just going to sit there? Are you going to help me!?" Taylor shouted from the street where she fought off some of The Destroyers.
The ninja quickly joined in the battle, throwing the soldiers into buildings, or any solid objects in range; though from lack of sleep and food the ninja quickly started to tire out.
"Keep fighting!" Cole shouted losing his energy
Okay, here's where things start to get a little bloody. For those of you who can't read this, I'll leave a quick little recap of what happened.
From over all the commotion, Cole had lost track of Taylor. He knew she could take care of herself but the feeling in his gut said to watch her. Cole searched the streets for her and once he did find her, his heart sank. Taylor, once strong and bold was now dull and tired, covered in bruises and cuts. Cole didn't know how much longer she could hold the soldiers off. Cole's eyes ventured upwards to see multiple soldiers on the roof. The stood right over Taylor, pushing giant rocks towards the edge.
Cole attempted to yell out for his girlfriend, but to no avail. A tall muscular man grabbed Cole and covered his mouth closed. To no mercy, the man held Cole's head still, forcing him to watch Taylor's demise.
The rocks began to fall, Taylor suddenly looked up terrified. At the last minute Cole broke loose from the steal grip of the man.
"NO!" He shouted as he ran towards Taylor but she was too late, gravity finished its effect on the rocks and crushed Taylor like she was a toothpick. Cole felt a warm liquid hit his face, he wiped it off and looked at his hand. It was blood. Taylor's blood.
His own element had killed his love. He could have used his true potential. The 'What Ifs?' rushed through Cole's mid as he lost his contact with the rest of the world. Until, Kai called for him, "Cole the portal!" Kai jumped through the portal, but as soon as Kai jumped in he tried to come back to this dimension. Cole could see Kai's fists pounding on the portal as if it was glass.
Cole looked and saw Ashley, who was fighting with one arm and was tiring out. Ashley began running to the portal but was stopped by a montage of soldiers. Cole ran towards Ashley and the portal. But before Cole could blink the portal closed, leaving them alone to fight for themselves.
Okay it's all clear for all of those who have a weak stomach. I'm sorry if I over exaggerated a little , but you can never to be too cautious.
Kai yelled furiously and knocked light poles over with his sword. Ashley was left in the last dimension. Now all was left of the group were Nya, Kai, Jay and Lloyd.
"Kai, calm down, we'll save her, she'll be okay." Nya attempted to calm her brother down.
"Don't tell me everything's going to be okay, the love you your life is still with you. The only girl that actually liked my fiery temper is gone! So don't you dare tell me that everything is going to be okay."
"You think I like losing my friends under my twin sister's orders? I could have prevented this all if I had killed her all those years ago. I'm your sister Kai! The one that's been by your side since the day I was born."
"Look, all I care about right now is making sure Kurami gets what she deserves. I don't care who she is she deserves whatever she has coming for her." Kai marched towards the location on the final battle.
The Moirai laughed, as they repeated the process. But this time instead of only one string, Clotho held up three. One for Cole, one for Taylor and one for Ashley. They watched in the globe at the horrific scene that played out before them. Blood circled in a pool around the rocks that crushed Taylor.
The army circled around Cole and Ashley as they were defenseless. The three sisters continued to laugh, as the strings were cut and the three heroes were put out of their misery. The army retreated once they noticed the change in Cole and Ashley's appearance. Their bloody and battered bodies were left to lie beside the rest of the bodies in the street.
Kai trudged behind, Jay, Nya and Lloyd, as they walked around a corner they noticed the clock tower only a couple yards away, they slowed down their pace as the anticipation grew with each step. Jay noticed Nya fiddled with her hands nervously, he reached over and grabbed hoping to calm her down. With her other hand she grabbed her dress and clenched her fist. Lloyd stared at the ground, confused, he so badly wanted to go home, eat candy and play video games, but something made him want to be traveling through dimensions a little longer.
Suddenly, a shadow reached into Nya's pocket and pulled out the rest of the stones.
"No!" Nya attempted to reach for them, but to no avail.
The shadow revealed itself, Haley chuckled, "I thought there would be a challenge, but you all are pathetic. It's sad, but very amusing." Haley admired the stones, her lip quivered into a slight smile as she gingerly touched the diamond that once hung from her neck.
"Haley, don't do this, please we need to win this, and we need your help." Nya pleaded with a tired voice.
Haley's face mellowed, "Well, now that I think about it, no." Haley shot a beam of energy at Nya, who was too exhausted to dodge it and took a full on impact. She was flown backwards, but managed to land on her feet.
Jay quickly pulled out his nun chucks, sending a bolt of lightning at Haley, but she blocked it with a shield of death. Haley threw the stones to a nearby solider, who bolted north, towards the clock tower.
Kai threw a stream of fire towards Haley, she barely dodged the attack, but when she was distracted Lloyd sent a ball of green energy flying towards Haley, before she could see it coming it hit her in the stomach sending her back.
Silence filled the air as the sound of clapping echoed through the streets. "Well done, but do you think a little beam like that can stop Haley?"
Kai growled, "Kurami." He ran for her with his sword drawn.
Kai started to attack his little sister as she dodged each of his attacks. Suddenly, Kurami created an arm made out of purple energy and grabbed Kai by the throat. "I... thought you gave all your… powers to… Haley." Kai managed to gasp out.
"You under estimate me brother, I would never give her all my powers. Besides, I ordered that Ashley was to be killed. I love it when my orders are followed!" Kurami said with glee, clasping her hands together.
Kai's eyes went wide, despite the strong hold on his neck he managed to get his words out loud and clear, "What are you talking about?"
Kurami chuckled, "I killed Ashley Accorsi."
Fire ignited in Kai's eyes, but before he could attempt to attack, Kurami threw Kai against a tall building. She threw him to the ground, he groaned, Kai attempted to get up but only fell back down in pain.
"Kai!" Nya cried as she ran towards him, pushing his hair out of his face.
"Don't bother my orders to the Moirai will be carried out."
Suddenly a low hum filled the air, everybody looked up at the Clock Tower. All stones had been set in place, they started to glow. Kurami started to laugh, a black beam shot from the center stone.
Kurami continued to laugh as the beam started to flow through her veins. Her dark purple eyes changed into a pitch black. Her hair no longer showed purple highlights, and floated in the air like snakes.
Nya, Jay, and Lloyd stared at Kurami with wide eyes.
"Now it's time to take care of some things." Kurami voiced boomed as she turned around to face Haley, who was just starting to get up form the blow she received from Lloyd.
"Now that your uncle's out of the way, I can finally get rid of you!" Kurami shot a black beam but it was blocked by a purple shield.
"You're not hurting anybody." Nya growled.
"I bed to differ." Kurami shot another beam, it broke through the shield and went directly for Haley. She bent over in pain, as tears ran down her face. Kurami floated in the air away from her.
Suddenly, the sky darkened, a dark portal opened. A wave of shadows raced out of the portal. The sun slowly drifted behind the moon, darkening the battlefield.
"No, the Demonic Change, it- it's happening." Nya gasped.
Kurami laughed, "Look who it is!"
Suddenly a portal opened and their lost friends walked through the portal. Zane with rust running up his arms and up his face. Leah followed him, blood dripped from her mouth. Cole walked through with a spear sticking out of his chest. Then Taylor walked behind him with a blood covering her body, dragging her leg behind her. Kai sat up with worried eyes. Just before the portal closed Ashley walked through, her neck hung in an awkward position.
"Oh! Did I mention that the lost souls released from the Shadow Lands need bodies to infect so they can kill?"
Kurami threw a punch at Nya sending her flying back. Nya landed on her feet swiftly, and threw multiple punches at her twin sister. As the battle between sisters begun, Jay, Lloyd and Kai fought of their possessed friends on the ground.
Kurami picked Nya up by her neck, "Sumiko, why must you fight so much? Oh, that's right, you get it from our insignificant mother."
"How dare you talk about our mother that way!" Nya growled, "She loved me you and Kai."
"Lies!" She loved you and Kai! She hated me! She thought I was the reason behind the curse. At least she's gone now." Kurami chuckled, "now that I think about it, her demise could have been an more elaborate plan."
"What are you talking about?" Nya whispered.
"You don't remember do you?" Kurami laughed
"I went to the store with our mother to get our birthday cake. I was the only survivor of the crash. I made her car crash into that pole. I murdered our mother." Kurami smirked
Nya gasped, tears ran down her face. Kurami started to build a ball of energy up in her empty hand to finish Nya off.
But she started to weaken, the portal to the Shadow Lands became smaller. Kurami's head snapped towards the Clock Tower. Everybody followed her gaze to see the stones no longer emitting a black glow.
Haley climbed and placed the last stone in place, Kurami dropped Nya and flew towards
Haley.
Kurami grabbed the young girl by her hair, "How dare you! Kurami threw Haley to the ground. She landed with a loud thud and remained silent. Her black hair changed into it's original light red.
Another low hum filled the air as a white beam shot from the center stone. The white light engulfed Nya, the beam ceased and Nya's black hair now reached her shoulders, her brown eyes now were a glowing white. Kurami floated into the air and raced towards Nya as they began to fight.
Meanwhile, on the ground Jay, Lloyd and Kai continued to fight off their friends. Jay looked up at the Clock Tower and saw a small child with black hair waddling around.
Jay gasped, "Kolby! Lloyd, Kai do thing you guys can handle them?"
"Yeah, we got it." Lloyd threw a punch towards Cole, sending his flying to the ground.
Jay pulled out his nun chucks and flew towards the Clock Tower, he circled around Nya and Kurami, as they threw balls of energy at each other.
Jay jumped out if his Storm Glider and onto the opening in the Clock Tower. He put his nun chucks on his back and proceed to walk around the throne room.
Jay turned his attention to the wall to his left, "Sensei Wu?!"
"My student, we must hurry the tower is set to self-destruct." Wu stated calmly.
"Okay, but where's Kolby?" Jay panicked, but before his master could respond Jay felt a tug at the leg of his ninja suit. He looked down to see the light brown eyes that he inherited from his mother. Jay picked up the two year old, who started to babble and pointed to a nearby corner, where J.D picked up a toddler with black hair.
"We will be back..." J.D said darkly as he ran from out of the throne room. Kolby struggled from Jay's arms as he screamed, reaching for the toddler.
"Come on, we need to get out of here." Jay turned his nun chucks into his Storm Glider, Sensei Wu jumped in and Jay followed him with Kolby in his arms.
Back on the ground with Lloyd and Kai, their friends started to get back up, "I don't think I can do this anymore Lloyd. That blow really got me." Kai gripped his side in pain.
"Come on guys, play with us." Taylor laughed, as she started to attack Lloyd.
"Play with me Kai." Ashley tackled Kai to the ground.
"Ashley, it's me, Kai." Kai pushed Ashley off of him.
"K-kai... I-." Ashley looked at her boyfriend, her face instantly darkened, "I hate you." Ashley threw a punch sending Kai stumbling backwards.
Nya did a round-house kick, sending Kurami backwards in the air. Nya flew towards her,
"You've ruined everything for me! My life, my family! This is what you deserve!" Nya grabbed her sisters shoulders and flew towards a building, at full speed, Nya and Kurami hit the building, causing large rocks to fall.
"You really think this can hurt me?" Kurami turned the tables and slammed Nya into building. She gasped out in pain, fighting back the tears her sister continued to speak.
"You're worthless, you have ruined my life, and this is what you get. You're nothing just like our parents."
Nya growled, "No, they are not." Nya kicked Kurami in her stomach. "You ruined, Kai and I's childhood. Ever since father's death, I have been nothing but harsh on myself because I thought I would never be good enough." Nya sent a ball of energy towards Kurami, she groaned in pain as the blow his her dead center on her chest. She coughed, and blood spurted out of her mouth.
"I've live in constant fear of myself, keeping my distance so I could never hurt anybody I loved or cared about. You made my life a living hell. And you deserve everything you have coming for you." Nya built up a ball of white light.
"Pl- please, sister have mercy on me..." Kurami coughed up more blood.
"It's too late for mercy." Nya whispered, and threw the ball at Kurami, the white light engulfed her as she screamed in pain. The light expanded, blinding Nya. Then everything went black.
