Cycle of Mating

Summary: The cycle of demon mating has been going on for thousands of years. Not one demon complained about the consequences of their mating. Not one demon very much liked the choice of who their eternal mate is. Except one. The powerful dog demon lord isn't too questionable about who his mate is, until he see's she is his worst enemy. A human girl is his destined mate whether he likes it or not, he must claim her as his mate. There is no way out of it. Will she accept the fact that's she is destined to be with a demon lord? Will he forget she is human and take her as his mate? What will others think about this 'arrangement'?

Recap of the previous chapter

Sienna was last to leave. As soon as her sisters left she stared at Inu Taisho and walked over to him. She raised her hand and slapped him across the face and let her tears fall. "I may have been silence from this whole ordeal, but do know Inu Taisho, you are not the demon we all thought you were. How dare you put us in this situation, put her in this situation? I've said it before and I'll say it again your a coward and nothing but. I'll hate you for as long as Sookie does. I truly hope you lose everything!"

And with that she disappeared with her sisters, "I hope you regret your decision!" She shouted, her voice echoed as it fade much like Nayru's and Auzume. But her words kept repeating until he toned them out for good. "I hope you regret your decision!"

Chapter Eleven: Past Repeated and Choice's Made

"I hope you regret your decision!" Sienna's words echoed through Inu Taisho's head for the next few minutes while he stood in front of his mates study wondering up the courage to tell her about his affair with his mistress.

He knew in his heart and mind that he was doing the right thing for her and for himself, but he started to doubt whether he was ready to let go of his life with Sookie for good. Sure they have a child and would still raise him like parents they are, but they lives would never be the same. Sookie would surely hate him and Sesshomaru would grow up and not understand why he would break up his family for this woman.

As he placed his hand around the door knob, he took a deep breath, knowing there was no going back now. The mark was already been removed and Sookie should know by now something has happened. The Ladies of the council disappeared for the time being, their aura still circled the area, but for now they were in sight. That may be for the best.

Opening the door, he saw he curtains drawn and his mate weeping beside of window pane. She clutched her stomach as her knees reached up to her chin and her face hidden in between her knees. He couldn't see the tears, but he heard them as she let them run down her face. From his view he could tell her left hand was rubbing her neck where their mat6ing mark used to be. It looked sore and red.

Deep down she knew what was happening, she knew what would become of this night. She just hoped he would think rational about it, or talked to her about it before he had done what he did. She didn't want to believe that this could be the end of their lives together, but he seemed so sure about leaving her.

"Sookie?" He whispered as she stepped closer. She remained still, not moving even an inch. All he could make out through the sobs of her tears were partial growls coming his way as he came closer to his mate. Even her growls could not keep him away from telling her what's on his mind and whats not in his heart any longer."Please Sookie, we need to talk, it's important!"

In a stern voice he spoke as he stood in front of her hoping for a different reaction. But he didn't. She remained cocooned in her web, she felt safe and steady. "Sookie?"

"It's about her, isn't it?" She asked in a low whisper. Her head still resting on her knees as her tears stopped. At first Inu Taisho couldn't believe what he just heard, he acted as though he didn't hear her, which he really did.

"Wait, what?"

Sookie raised her head, "I'm no fool..." She whispered, even lower then her last sentence. Her eyes red all around from her crying these past few hours. Her claws tensed as she tapped the window pane vigorously "That human princess from the southern providence. It's about her, isn't it Inu Taisho?"

"How do you...?"

She rose from the window pane, "Do you believe I am a fool Inu Taisho? Weeks that turn into monthly trips to 'patrol' our lands. You leave for three to six weeks each time, and then when you finally decide to come home to your family, your whole demeanor is different. Your postier, your attitude, your feelings. You seem happier then you were when you first left. It hurts more that it isn't because of your family." Sookie said as she shook her head and laughed. "I never thought you would be the one to hurt me as much as my father did when he used my mother into giving him an hear for his kingdom. Maybe more then he had."

"That was not my intention Sookie, I need you to believe that!"

Before he could finish, she interrupted him. "Why should I believe a damn word you say? All you've done is lie to me and purposely hurt me, just so you can be happy."

"I never wanted to hurt you, and I know you know that. I wouldn't be standing here in front of you if I did." He tried reasoning with her, he wanted her to understand his side, instead of thinking about how much of a monster he was, or how he destroyed their family. He needed her to know everything, even things that would ultimately destroy her."If I kept this from you any longer, it'd be unfair, and I couldn't keep you in this relationship thats only one-sided, how fair would I be if I did that to you? You deserve much more than this pain."

Sookie marched over to him, her fist slammed down in mid air as she growled, "I thought I deserved you Taisho! I thought we were way better than this. We have never kept secrets from each other, even as kids, we were always honest with one another. How is it you kept so many from me? How long have you been seeing this human, or kept these feelings from me? If there was any love for me, you would have ended it long before it began, you would have wanted to kept this relationship, this union alive for the better of both us, our son and our kingdom!" She screamed, marching around him as her hands flew in the air as her screaming continued. "You love her, you're in love with her. How could something so small cause you from telling me the truth from the beginning?" Sookie shouted as she tossed the orb he had personally created for her after she miscarried their first daughter.

It took everything in Sookie to keep her from wanting to starting a fight with him. Breaking the orb was just an inch of her pain, there were other ways to grieve over her loss and she didn't want to grieve over an orb in which her unfaithful mate made her. It took almost everything to keep her from breaking down in tears, even when she knew that the orb was the only thing that comforted her over her loss, when she started becoming depressed and felt alone for a long time, the orb gave her comfort. Now it's destruction only brought her joy and extreme anger towards her now former mate.

The glass from the orb shatter all over the floor. All of it's contents spilled over the floor, she crushed the remaining chunks with her heel. She heard the last sounds of the heartbeat of her babies heart before it disappeared. A white light rose from the heart that now laid across the entire floor, it slowly turned to ashes and dust. The light circled around Sookie then just went back inside of her heart. That light was a symbol of the child she lost, no longer able to grieve to an orb who held the heart inside, no longer able to connect with her through her touch. Instead it entered her own heart and remained there, so it could connect spiritually through her heart and not from a physical touch of an orb.

Sookie growled as she looked all around her. Staring back over to Inu Taisho she waited for him to speak. "This wasn't suppose to happen, not like this. I wanted it to work, I wanted to make us work, to continue as lord and lady who were truly in love and raise Sesshomaru like the parents we are, but..."

"There are no longer buts in this conversation Inu Taisho, you have made your bed, you have destroyed everything. What happened? How can you stand here and look me in the eye and say you wanted to make things work, when you ran off to be with another?" Sookie yelled, Inu Taisho's head lowered as she chuckled. "Ohh, that's right, you became so madly in love with this princess, this human princess whose viewed as royalty, who walks around with a crown because of what we gave her. But instead of protecting her village and making her people feel welcomed, shes whoring herself off to the Lord of the West!"

"That is not how it is Sookie!" Inu Taisho growled as he took offense to Sookie's words.

She knew she hit a nerve with her mate, she knew what would eventually show his true colors. All she had to do was just push and hit him hard with what he gave her. "Have I hit a nerve Taisho, have I offended you?" She asked so innocently, she smiled as she walked closer to him. She wrapped her arms around his face, her smile grew as she giggled, while saying "Good!" right before pushing him away from her, her claws slightly scratching the sides of his face.

"You need to understand Sookie, I didn't want to hurt you!" He said as he stared at her. Her hand sat on her hip as she stood across from him shaking her head. He could tell by her glowing aura around her that she was more then angry.

"Oh no Inu Taisho, I understand completely. I understand that for the past two years you have fallen completely out of love with me and in love with this mortal, this human wench who knows nothing about out. You pretended to love me, pretended to be happy, completely pretended to want this life, to want me. You seem to forget, I was happy the way our relationship was when we were younger, I was fine with no title to our friendship. You brought it up, set up an arrangement with my father and yours, and here we ended up. Is all this worth losing your family, not just me, but your son too, the heir to your kingdom? Will this be worth hurting him, he's still a child?" Sookie asked as she walked around him. "Sesshomaru cried every night for you, you know, he cries every time you leave, you're not here, never are, and it hurts him. Then you come back and act as though nothing really changed, just your feelings. It's like neither of us know who you are anymore, especially not Sesshomaru."

Inu Taisho knew she had been right, she was always right. He broke up their family, he fell for Izayoi when he had a family back home. It was his fault they were in this mess to begin with, he asked Sookie to mate with him. She was the only demoness he trusted with both his life and his lands. Right before he became the head of the council his father set up the arrangement.

"Your right and I truly am sorry Sook, I have hurt you, which was something I really didn't want to happen. I wanted this to work, I wanted to make it work. I wanted to stay a family, to fall in love with you over nad over again, just like when we first met. The closer I got to her and learned about her, it started to become harder to walk away, and easier to let go us." Sookie couldn't hold it in now, tears started falling as soon as he said that last sentence. Inu Taisho rushed over to her side, he held her in his arms, and allowed his own tears to form and fall seconds later. Despite her pounding of his chest and pushing away from him, he stayed, he wanted to comfort her, especially since he was the reason for her tears. "I hoped this want for her would be just be a phase, just a way out for the moment, but it became more. I could no longer control it. Even if I had walked away before I fell in love, I would've felt incomplete."

"You really love her?" He nodded his head, she muffled out a cry all the while turning her head the side. "What happened to us? Why? Didn't you love me enough to stay and walk away from her?"

He sighed, "I loved you enough to tell you the truth, though it took me awhile to, but I just didn't want to hurt you any more!" He grabbed her hand and rubbed in between his own, "Sook, You have alway held my heart, even when we were kids, from that moment when we met, you captured it and have taken it captive since, but I'm not in love with you anymore. I know deep down that I want to stay here with you and try to work this out, but you're not my soul mate. Theres love I share for you, but it's not enough to keep this going, it's not enough to stay." He let his own tears fall from his eyes as he watched Sookie's already red puffy eyes fill with more tears. "You'll always be in my heart, not even she can take that away from me. But now I don't have to pretend, she takes me to ,to live up to any standards or need to prove myself worthy or even pretend like I love her, cause in all reality I already do."

Sookie couldn't take it any longer, she ripped her hand out of his and turned around. She sobbed, her tears refused to stop or even to halt for even a second. Once she realized that she had already lost him for good, she started to remember that there's one last person that's apart of this equalization Their son, Sesshomaru. She wondered how he would feel after hearing everything his father just said. Would he hate him? Or stand by his choice? Or feel neutral about this situation happening.

"What about Sesshomaru?" She sighed, she knew in her heart that she wouldn't win this battle, but she didn't want to give up a fight, she had to be strong, for her and her son. There was no winning in this battle of love, because in her case, she had already lost. "What will you tell him?"

"He's still a child Sookie, he wouldn't understand. I'll tell him the truth when he gets older, when he's able to truly understand all of this." He turned her around, wiped away her tears and said, "You can stay here, I won't force you out of your home. This palace3 has always been your home. It's yours. I plan on travelling my lands, become more in touch with them..." Looking into her eyes, he said, "And I plan on having her right beside me as I do." He wiped away her last tears that fell for the moment, he leaned in and planted a kiss upon her cheek and whispered, "I'm truly sorry Sook."

And with that he started for the door. But he caught the whisper coming from his beloved Sookie, right as he headed out. "Have you slept with her?"

Inu Taisho felt a single tear fall as he ignored her and walked out just saying, "Goodbye!"

The words of his goodbye was not what killed her as he walked away. It was the silence that came before and the answer she never got. Knowing the truth behind his silence is what caused her more pain. Never had she thought her mate, the demon lord that has had her heart for so many centuries could ever hurt her in the way that he did. She had hoped he wasn't like her own father, who caused her pain throughout her entire life, up until the moment of his and her mothers passing.

As he disappeared into the halls of their old home, the home that she now shares alone with her son, she fell to the ground. Her arms wrapped around her knees as they buckled and locked to the floor. And at that moment, the moment of her weakness, the pain of her mark erasing and burning off the flesh of her neck began.

Her screams started low, but soon raised as the mark literally begun it's slow and painful tearing. Every piece of her body begun to crumble and shake as small amounts of blood dripped onto the floor and down her neck. As the pain got worse, her scream got louder. It had been too much to handle hearing the words her former mate had to say, now to make matters worse the mark decided to burn off the only piece of evidence of her only evidence that she had once been mated.

Auzume and Sienna appeared beside her as they sat next to her and held her shaking form. Sienna cried as she felt Sookie's pain when she placed her hand on her. The pain was incredibly miserable. The only thing she could do was to take some of the pain away from Sookie and endure it herself. Even in doing that it was still much to take in.

As Inu Taisho walked down the hall, preparing to leave his former home, he saw his son standing outside the door from his mothers study. There were many tears in his eyes, even the sounds of his whimpering alerted Inu Taisho, he knew his son must of heard something of his betrayal. But as he attempted to grab his son, to comfort him, his son kicked and screamed at him, punching his father's chest as he ran away. Thats how he knew his own son hated him. Sesshomaru had heard everything his father said, from speaking to the ladies of the council right down to the part where he walked away from his mother.

Nayru appeared to him in a ghostly form for just a few seconds. "Was it worth hurting her Inu Taisho? Worth hurting your child? Is the love you have for this Izayoi really worth losing everything, including your family?" Her words were not to cause him pain or make him feel guilt, but to alert him that other things would happen from this change.

Sookie cried into the arms of her friends, the women who have stood beside her every time her mate had left. Although she wanted to be alone, she knew she shouldn't. And their company mader her pain less of a weight upon her shoulders.

Sienna couldn't leave Sookie alone at this point, she knew that the removal of the mating mark hurts the female mate more then the male, and the pain would only get worse over the course of time.

"He's gone, and now she takes what used to be mine." Sookie cried out as Nayru reappeared, but this time in her own form. She sat down next to her sisters and held onto Sookie as she continued to cry. But something else alerted her, that concerned her more than ever. And she knew that it had something to do with what Sookie wished to say earlier that evening, but had been interrupted instead.

Placing her hand in the center of Sookie's belly, her deep amber eyes started to turn a dark blue as she rubbed her belly. They widely opened as she gasped and looked at Sookie with a stunned face. "Milady Sookie, is it true? Are you...?"

Without letting her finish her sentence, Sookie just nodded while sobbing into her arms.

End of Flashback

Rin gasped as Sienna closed the portal of her memory from her. The ending shocked her more then the flashback, she caught onto what Sookie was trying to say in the beginning, but to have it verified and actually proven, it shocked her entirely.

"Sienna, do you mean...Sookie was pregnant again." Sienna only nodded her head. "What happened to the baby? Did she miscarry again?"

Knowing that no one should ever know that Sookie had been pregnant with Inu Taisho's child right before he left her, Sienna only wished to show Rin what past Sesshomaru had when his parents split. And that part, was part of it. "None of us really know, nor have we spoken about it since." Rin turned her head curiously, allowing Sienna to explain, "After Lord Inu Taisho left, he returned to look for her two weeks later, he wanted to speak to her, but she had left to the east to visit her older sister in a demon village miles away from the eastern palace. Her sister was pregnant with her first child, and Sookie wished to help her. From all we know, she miscarried while travelling to the East."

"That's terrible."

"It truly was a terrible ordeal and I'm quite surprised on how Sookie put it to the side and strengthen from her pain and did her best to raise her son and not let her own feelings get in the way. After her niece was born she came back, we watched Sesshomaru while she was gone, but he was a lot to handle at this point." Sienna said as she smiled. "I'll tell you more about Sesshomaru's past and about Sookie as well, but first I wish to hear about your life. I only saw the parts of your life that you allowed, I wish to know more."

Rin nodded, she hoped Sienna would just allow her to tell her story instead of visually seeing it for herself. It was too much for Rin to handle and relive it by watching it over. She rather let Sienna get to know her verbally first.

"What would you like to know?"

"Everything my dear. What have you gone through your entire life? Have you felt abandoned or lost at some point in your life or what joy have you experienced?" Sienna asked as she placed her hand on her chin, while allowing Rin to explain.

Rin cleared her throat as she started to tell her own story of her life. She would eventually tell her about the incident that turned her whole entire world upside down until her aunt saved her.

"There's been a lot that has happened, a lot that I have gone through and had to go through alone. The only person I had was my aunt and even having her, I felt like I had been a burden for her taking me in, she had her own life, her own family to take care of. A child with no parents was just another problem on her hands, especially since I became a wreck when my parents died." Sienna gasped a bit, she knew that Rin had a dark past, and she saw parts of what she felt, but never knew why she felt the way she did. "I was only seven when they died, more like when they were murdered, if you want a more technical meaning of their death." She paused for a second then continued, "There were three demons that broke into our home one night, and killed them. My father wanted us to hid in the closet while he went to check out what was going on, but as my mother heard him screaming to her, telling her to stay hidden and not to come out, to just protect me, she left me in the closet, made me promise not to come out for any reason, she ran off to her death, she wanted to protect us both, and help my father. but these demons were too strong."

Sienna grabbed her hand and asked her, "Did either of you know who they were?"

Rin shook her head, "I was only a child, my parents took me out to plenty of places and plenty of public parks and libraries and such. They could of been anyone. But I would never forget his face and the look on my mothers face as he stabbed her with his claws and silt her throat afterwards. It was terrifying to watch. I backed in further in the closet and hid behind boxes, trying to make no sound or make any movements to alert them that there was someone else there. They came for me in the closet, he scratched my waist, but before I became his next victim he disappeared because of the sound of sirens." Rin nodded her head as she slowly lifted her shirt to show the hidden scar under her clothing. "This is what's left of their murder, a scar that reminds me every day that those men are still out there."

"How long was it until someone came or till they found you?"

"Three days."

"You waited in that closet for three days, alone?" Sienna asked, "You never came out."

"No, my mother told me not to before she left me there. I didn't come out until I heard the sound of my aunts voice days later. I remember her holding me, she couldn't stop crying, but she wanted to stay strong for me." Rin answered, Sienna slightly smiled. She loved the loyalty she had and how she obeyed a direct order from her parents even after they passed. "I was taken to the hospital a few hours afterwards because of my wound, it was becoming infected and if they waited any longer I would of died."

"So your aunt took you in afterwards? There was no one else, no other older siblings or aunts, uncles or even your grandparents to take you?" Sienna asked, she felt so much respect for her aunt because of the kindness she showed Rin, and how she took care of her during her time of need.

"I was the only child, but a month before their death, they announce I was going to be a big sister, they were having another baby, a baby girl. They had her name picked out and everything, Siyana Arai Dearily. But my baby sister didn't live, even if they came sooner, she would've been too early." Rin said as she continued "My mother only had a sister Aunt Mimi, in which she took me in. Her parents had passed long before I was born. As for my father, he had a brother and sister, and his parents were these classy rich corporate people, but they disowned him for marrying my mother. They want nothing to do with me. Mimi was the only one that cared enough to take me. even after she had a child of her own a few years later, sweet little Chiyo."

Sienna took Rin's hand as she smiled, "You have been through a lot throughout these years, I can still see pain clouded in your eyes whenever you speak of your parents or even of your past, but I also see how much your growing from it, how you are strengthening yourself. You won't be sad forever, it may be taking a while to sink it and just put it behind you, but it'll happen, you won't ever forget it, but you'll learn to not think about it as much, you'll forgive what happened and finally learn to go on with your life and not let it stand in your way anymore." Sienna didn't need to look into Rin's memory to see that she was hurting, to see that Rin has hid behind a dark, shadowy blanket for so many years. It was in plain sight that Rin was still coping and grieving their death.

"If you don't mind, I'd like to take a break from that memory. It's all coming back in whole and I do not wish to relive it. I came to peace with talking about it." Rin said as she faintly smiled. Sienna nodded head. "As for any joy in my life. The only joy I cherish truly is the birth of my cousin Chi, she is like my little sister and I'll do anything to protect her. She's my whole world, and one of the main reasons I started to hide my pain, I didn't want her to dwell and let it hurt her like it was hurting me."

"It's good you found a reason to be happy."

"Once Chiyo started school, she wasn't making as many friends as she liked. The kids were making fun of her and tormenting her. For what reason I don't know, all I know is how she kept coming home with tears in her eyes. Her father would always have to leave for business trips to Tokyo or Okinawa, a few times he had to leave for a few weeks to America. So I was there to comfort her when he wasn't around. Aunt Mimi suggested we move her to a different school, but it resulted in us moving all together to a beautiful house down the street from a wonderful school. My aunt told me one of my mothers old college's niece went to school there, it was Sookie. I had seen her a few times in the year when she came by to have dinner with us and expressed to us how she wished for us to come to her former mates estate for a few grand parties, but we never got the chance to go."

Sienna listened carefully but stopped Rin to dig deeper into their conversation. "Wait, so you knew Sookie before all this, before you found out you're the mate of Sesshomaru and that's his mother? But you never met him."

Rin shook her head. "Sookie always came over alone, always spoke of her son, and how she wished for us to meet him and Mr. Sadamoto. She had been very close to my mother, they acted like they were sisters at times, finishing each others sentences or always hanging out. I hadn't seen Sookie again after they died until I took Chiyo to the school her niece is attending. Chiyo finally made a friend, and it was Akasha." Rin answered ever question Sienna had for her, but she continued on with her story. "After she saw me at the school with my aunt registering Chi, she stayed in touch, she didn't want me to feel so alone. She came back into my life just like she was when they were alive. It felt so nice to have her around."

"Sookie is truly an incredible person. For all the years I've known her, she has always been a sweet heart, always willing to help those that needed her. I'm extremely proud that she stuck around after she saw you again." Sienna smiled.

After staying in silence for a few minutes, Sienna continued on with her lines of questions. "So, this is a question I ask every candidate on trial for a mating ceremony, so please do not feeling embarrassed or insulted for me prying into your personal life."

"It's okay. Although I was young, my mother sort of prepared me for these lines of questioning. And after my aunt took me in and I seemed not to be as depressed, she begun preparing me for it as well. She rather had me be prepared for it then be confused about it when it came around to it."

"With that said then, how many relationships have you been in or commited too?" This was only the easy part of her question, asking her if she was still a virgin or whether she had slept with anyone would be a bit more personal for a first time question.

"None!"

"At all?"

Rin shook her head as she crossed her legs and sat up from her slouching position. "I concentrated more on school and books then guys. I've been on a few dates, but I ended them very early, because I knew that one day I'd have to, I'd have to say goodbye if I committed myself in a closed relationship. I was already taken, no matter if I knew who it was or not, once I found my mate it'd be over faster then it even started. And I wouldn't want to hurt or deceive that person by committing to them than turning around and leaving because I had a responsibility to hold up." She would be the first to have said that, to have admitted that she wouldn't commit because she belonged to another. "There wasn't anyone in particular, but it was just the fact and responsibility I had that made me not date or commit. I take this ceremony very seriously, I was taught to live up to my obligations not to run from them or even cheat on them."

"Your a wise young lady Rin. Never have a met any woman that thought about this so much as you have. No matter if you knew Sesshomaru was your mate or not, you still stayed committed and faithful in a relationship that have not even started." Sienna said as she reached out to hold her hand, "Thats something you should feel very proud of my dear, and honored to have done that. Many girls have already had sex and probably had their first child by the time they found their mate. But you..."

"Have absolutely not!" She said abruptly, once she realized how loud she was, she lowered her head, not meaning to sound so loud in answer, "I'm sorry..."

"Your fine, I admire this personality you bring whenever we speak. Its embracive." Sienna always spoke so highly of her, and she only known her for a few hours. "That was actually another question I'd have to ask Rin, it's only standard procedure for the council to know, only so we can protect you and your future mate from anything either one of you have gotten from another partner."

She bounced around the subject. Not only did she feel weird about asking Rin, she felt like she was invading her privacy. Although she had ask thousands of woman the same question, something just felt weird about asking Rin. Maybe it was because of the person she was partnered with. Maybe she felt like she was invading his as well, although she knows hes no virgin, nor has he only been with one or two girls over the course of his teenage years.

"If what your asking me is if I've had sex with any man at all, the answer is no. It's something I truly don't do. I will not, nor will I sleep around with anyone who has no meaning towards me." Rin let out that last part so fast that she immediately wished she could take back. Her face turned as red as an apple as she stumbled and muttering out phrases to redeem herself. "I-I...m-mean, I'm just waiting. I've held onto my virtue, I felt like it would be the only thing pure about me, considering everything I went through. I wanted my parents and my aunt and uncle to be proud of me for waiting and waiting for the right time to do anything. But for the most part I did it for me. I wasn't ready, I'm not now, but I'm not just going to hand it out to just anyone, I really want it to be special when the time comes, you know?"

Rin had respect for herself, and had integrity beyond belief. For the most part, she wanted a story book romance; a night out on the town, a candle light dinner, a nice long walk along the beach, a kiss goodnight that would hold so much meaning and show her that she was cared about and not being used as someones play toy or their puppet. Although she knew it may never happen that way, she knew one thing, one thing that would never change. Her virtue would not be ripped away from her, she would put up a fight until her death, if it came to that. Even Sesshomaru couldn't force her into just handing it to him as a prize.

She would not be some trophy wife.

After all, she made plans for her future, she wanted to be someone important, to help others when they need it, just like she needed it when her parents died. But mostly she wanted to start her own book, a book that may help those who have gone through something as traumatic as she has. She promised her parents on their grave that she would make them proud to call her their daughter, she would live up to be their little girl that they had so much in store for.

She wanted to live to tell her tale.

"What about your future goals, what have you put in store for yourself?" Sienna asked, Rin has came this far and nothing has held her back besides the death of her parents, but it inspired her and gave her interest in making a difference.

"I always wanted to write a novel or a simple book. From before I could even remember I wrote short stories that grew from a interest to a hobby and now I want to do more with it. My parents death inspired me into placing my feelings and emotions on pen and paper and announcing to the world what I've gone through without being too personal. I could write a story with a dark tale, but really it'd be me expressing my anger or hate for what happened to them." She said as she lowered her head. "I want to be someone they could be proud of even in death. I know that they are looking down on me, and I just want to show them that I won't fail them."

Rin continued to expressed her interests in life and her goals to Sienna, including more of her past for the next hour or so. Before long Sienna ended their session, wishing to speak with Kagome next, but hoped to catch up with her soon to finish. She still needed to re-enter Rin's thoughts to get in touch with her spiritually, then she would have to check her physically to make sure she has done no wrong to herself that may affect her mate or his family in any way.

Sienna dismissed their session and told Rin to just venture the estate and she would come find her a bit later.

Author's Note: Alright ya'll I'm finished, I'll continue this chapter in chapter twelve. I just wanted to give you an update for now. Thank you all for waiting and reading my story. I very much so appreciate it. I'll update very soon.

I would have been able to post this chapter a bit sooner if my computer was letting me click the link to update chapters. But it was being a bit of an asshole. I almost resulted in heading the library today to do it but I took a chance and finally it let me click the link.
