Chapter 11: The Truth

The ocean waves fell on top of each other in the afternoon. The sun was up in the clear blue sky with no clouds to hide its warmth. Three stuffed animals are clearly shown on the ocean. Those three were Nickel, Beauty, and Crystal. They have been searching for their friends, but have given up and tried to find their way back to the island. When they tried to head back, they hadn't found the island for several hours. They are now lost in the ocean with no guidance.

They hadn't said anything while looking for them, or while looking for the island, but Nickel decided to say something when there was barely any hope left for them.

"For once," Nickel began, "I don't think we're going to get out of this one."

Beauty looked up at him, but Crystal stayed looking out at the ocean and taking no interest about what Nickel said. Beauty stopped, which made Crystal stop.

Crystal then looked at Beauty with confusion. She said, "Uh...Beauty, why are you stopping?"

Beauty said something, but not to Crystal. She swam up to Nickel, who was still in the air flying because he didn't notice they had stopped. She caught up to him and said, "Listen, we may have been swimming for a while now, but we can't give up hope; we came here for a reason!"

Nickel didn't move, except for the flapping of his wings that were keeping him up. "Came here for what? Get lost in the middle of the ocean and end up possibly going in circles? I don't really think there is any hope left."

Nickel began to fly forward, but Crystal turned her back to him and splashed him with one big flap with her tail fin. Nickel got half soaked, and was having trouble flying now. Furious, he shouted back, "What was that for? I told you, we're lost!"

"No we're not," argued Beauty. "We will get back; the others are probably searching for us. There is a possibility that we will get back!"

Nickel was about to say something when Crystal cut in. She swam between the two to separate them. "Stop! It is a million percent pointless to fight, when you can just realize we're just all tired from swimming and flying. Just please manage better, we don't need to be arguing if something could just pop out of nowhere and shred us. Let's keep going."

She swam forward, and then the two others followed. It wasn't long before Nickel started to say something. "Alright, fine. I may be a bit grumpy from not sleeping for a while, but for the record-"

"Shhhh!" whispered Crystal.

"What now-" Beauty was about to say something before she heard something from underneath her. Crystal looked around, and saw something slimy crawl under the surface and disappear.

A little scared, Crystal said quietly, "Guys, swim and fly a bit faster. You can slow down when I say you can." They all obeyed.

The noise kept following them even though they were trying to get away. It is now certain that the thing is chasing after them. They were now all going as fast as they can, but the thing was faster.

The three kept going until they couldn't anymore; when they stopped, the noise stopped. Silence. The three were confused while nothing happened within a few seconds. Then, all of a sudden, a huge slick tentacle shot out of the water and landed right on top of the stuffed animals. Before the three could do anything, they all got pushed down a few feet under the water's surface by the tentacle. They all got soaked head to tail, and Nickel couldn't see anything but the blue-green color of the ocean. He was completely blind, and tried to get up into the air again. Crystal and Beauty could see well enough to find where the thing was. It was the Trinadon, but they didn't know that.

Crystal saw the monster swim toward Nickel; it was probably thinking it was worth getting to first. Crystal let out a small burst of energy while swimming towards the monster. When she was about to make contact with it, she swam to its right eye and brushed against it roughly. Sure enough, the Trinadon stopped swimming to rub its eye. Beauty, seeing what Crystal had done, did the same with the monster's other eye.

Frustrated, the Trinadon swung every tentacle it had to hit the two Webkinz sea animals. But they were all too fast and dodged most of the tentacles. None of the hits would have hurt them, though. The Trinadon got more and more frustrated and angry, and it eventually gave up and decided enough was enough. It started to swim deeper into the dark water to hide while the Webkinz went back up to the surface.

When Beauty and Crystal got to fresh air, Beauty complained about their victory. She looked at Crystal and said, "Wait, can't we go after it? It might know information!"

Crystal disbelievingly replied, "We can't; it can't talk and it might be with the pirates' Lacy was talking about."

"Well I'm not going without a prize." And with that, Beauty ducked back under the water and began to swim to where the monster disappeared to.

"Wait! It's too dangerous!" Crystal yelled, even though the bottled nose dolphin couldn't hear her. The spotted seal swam after her without thinking whether she'll meet other trouble in the depths or not.

Crystal couldn't see anything until she was about ten feet deep into the water. She had to swim past schools of fish and a couple of random floating sea stars before seeing wood. Crystal stopped, and looked around the wooden things before continuing her search. The wood was actually a ship, which seemed to be the right size for stuffed animals such as her friends. There seemed to be even more of them, about six or seven all together. She then carried on and tried to forget about the ships since she didn't want any distractions.

Crystal kept swimming past the ships, which seemed like a path. She went on going until she saw a cave in the watery distance. She swam toward it, then halted at the entrance and wondered if she should see if Beauty went into it, or avoid it to not have any more trouble. But, what if Beauty was in there? Crystal decided to take the chance, and went in.

The cave was dark, but her eyes soon adjusted to it to see two figures; one was bigger than the other, and they weren't moving. Crystal gently and slowly swam to a rock that was nearer to the figures. She swam to it and hid behind it. She looked closer to see the shapes of a fish, and an octopus-like thing. Then, she heard noises, but they were much muffled. Crystal concentrated on only the two, and could finally make out the sounds.

"Look, if think you're able to mess with my friends, you're wrong!" It was Beauty!

Crystal then recognized the monster, which was huddled in a corner. It made a whale-shriek noise, and then Beauty continued further. "If you're strong enough, then fight me! I'll teach you."

Crystal burst out of her hiding spot and quickly swam in between the Trinadon and Beauty. She wasn't going to let Beauty get shredded if the monster agreed with the fight. "Beauty, no! You can't fight a twenty foot sea monster."

Beauty just looked surprised at Crystal's unexpected appearance, and the Trinadon still hadn't moved from its spot. Then Beauty spoke after a few seconds. "I told you: I'm not leaving without teaching this over-sized octopus a lesson!" She tried to swim past Crystal, but she blocked the dolphin's way.

The monster seemed to recognize the tension happening, and pushed itself from its spot and went into another section in the cave. Beauty boosted towards the monster, and Crystal went after her. They entranced into a bigger cave than before, and had strange shaped items at the end of the cave. The Trinadon was floating next to the items, and were looking at them. It didn't seem to notice the two that had entered. Beauty and Crystal stopped when they saw the monster, but not because they were afraid; they saw something in the Trinadon's eyes. In them were…pain and regret. Something you wouldn't expect from a monster that would seem to be destructive and frightening.

Slowly, Crystal and Beauty swam next to the monster and stared at what the monster was. They were looked to be octopus or squid tentacles, but were the same size as the Trinadon's. Neither of them wanted to know whether the monster did this to others, or did this to itself.

After a few seconds of beholding and taking in what seemed to be painful for the sea monster, Beauty was the first to talk.

She said it calmly and softly, not wanting to startle the Trinadon. "What happened?" The monster didn't move. But it seemed to hear and notice the two's appearance for a while without letting them know, until now. "Why do you have these?"

Even though it couldn't speak, it still tried to respond by showing them. It went over to another item Crystal and Beauty hadn't realized was there. It was a sword, a specific one that had a gold handle, and it looked as if it were made of steel and very sharp. Now that it had been in the ocean for several years it seems, it was now covered in molded sand and rock. It was also lying on a bed of seaweed. Crystal had an idea of why the monster was acting this way, but wasn't sure.

Beauty took it as a wild guess. She looked back up to the Trinadon and asked, "Did this belong to a pirate?" The monster nodded in a slow motion, and then Beauty went on. "Then why do you have it?"

The Trinadon, not knowing how to tell or show them, didn't answer just yet. It kept looking at the sword and then something caught his attention. It took one of its tentacles and flipped the sword over. On the other side, it showed an engraving that said "Captain Julian 'Black Fur' Jones". Crystal figured the pirate had a crew, since the person was a captain, but she still didn't know what it had to do with the Trinadon. And neither did Beauty

The monster seemed to know their confusion; it took the sword and threw it across the dark cave. It went straight past a tentacle, as if it were cutting it off of another monster like the one there. Then it was clear: Crystal created a vision of chaos and cold storms. The Trinadon had family, and Julian killed them all but one.

Now understanding, she asked the monster if it was true. "There were more? And, this captain, he killed them?" she whispered. The monster didn't move, and looked down.

After a few moments of the Trinadon, Beauty, and Crystal from either realizing or remembering the terrible memory, the monster nodded. None of them moved or spoke for a few minutes after the sad truth had been told. No one was meant to have that much pain and Crystal would have done anything to prevent that from happening.

Beauty, instead of looking sorry for the monster, she looked as if she was plotting. She wasn't the one to spoil a sad moment, but this time it was different.

Beauty swam through the water and floated right in front of the monster. "Haven't you ever wanted to get back at him for what he's done? Aren't you supposed to be the frightening sea monster, a sea monster that no one will fight you? Well, you are." The monster looked up and looked at the dolphin in the eyes. He looked to be growing confidence.

Beauty went on. "I think you're the most frightening. Why can't you get revenge on your so called 'monster'? Don't you agree?" The monster nodded. Beauty continued further, "Then what are we waiting for? Let's go!" They both took off and left Crystal behind.

Baffled about what just happened, Crystal just went through the maze of sunken ships and caught up to the monster and Beauty.

When Crystal got back up to the surface, she felt a breeze of fresh air blow in her fabric and face. It felt good to her to be out in the open air again after a long time under water. She then saw the Trinadon and Beauty floating in the water together, and Nickel flying next to her. He looked scared, and then flew behind Crystal for protection.

"Why is that thing here?" Nickel cried.

Crystal was about to answer before Beauty answered for her. "Were doing something called 'revenge'." She said in a maniacal voice. "Are you in?"

"If I'm in, do I get out of this crazy adventure?"

"Sure."

"Okay!" Nickel then flew over to the monster and perched in its round, watery head. "Do what you need to do, monster!"

The Trinadon made its whale-shriek noise in agreement, and then swam off into a direction. Crystal and Beauty swam with it, and just followed the monster.

They eventually saw something in sight. It was a fuzzy vision, but it was definitely land. It must be the island, Crystal thought. We're going to get out of this. The monster then immediately ducked into the water, and everyone else, except Nickel, went down with him.

They were about to make history right, and help a creature that had been living in slavery for a long time get revenge. Crystal, Beauty, and Nickel would never know what the monster will do, but only wait until it happened.

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiii people. Long time no see, or wrote to. Here's the chapter and hope you enjoyed it. And here's something you should note: create the story your continuously advancing immediately even though you're not even writing it yet. Like don't do what I'm doing, I am advancing my LPS story by playing with my LPS's. Which is bad because I end up forgetting what I did. Except for very important events in the adventure. That's all I'm going to say..so the next chapter will probably be either what will happen with the monster, or what happened to Ginger, or BOTH? Or separate? OR...just kidding. You guys could probably guess. Good-bye, And good night.
