Alright! Sorry about the long break. The writing is getting harder and harder for me without many prompts. If you ever want a prompt done, just message me and I will work as best as I can. As always, Naruto belongs to Kishi alone and Lord knows only he knows what's really going on right now. Cheers!

Hospital

Most people would hate the though of being in a hospital, but for Naruto, it was one of his favorite places. Unlike his sensei Kakashi, Naruto welcomed his trips to the hospital. Ever since the end of the war, Naruto found less and less reasons to go to the hospital, which was a bummer, since his favorite person occupied that place frequently. He had tried to just stop by, using his "Hokage training" as an excuse to visit the hospital. Let's just say that that didn't go over so well.

"Naruto, what are you doing here again? Don't tell me you've done something else stupid while training!" Sakura scoffed at the blonde as she walked briskly to the main desk. Naruto leaned onto to the desk as Sakura stepped behind it, shuffling through the files of patients waiting to be seen.

"No, Sakura-chan! I'm just here to visit!" Naruto had exclaimed, blushing slightly at Sakura's accusations. Sakura let out a huff.

"'Just visiting'?" She eyed him suspiciously. "You know the hospital doesn't allow loitering." Naruto stood up straight trying to assert his authority.

"Well, I'm not loitering, Sakura-chan. I'm here per my Hokage training. See? I'm even wearing my robes!" Naruto replied, pulling at the fabric. Sakura only rolled her eyes at the exclamation.

"Well, I don't remember Shizou just standing around 'visiting the hospital' at anytime. She actually did work here. So shoo, and go be "Hokage-in-training" elsewhere." Sakura teased as she walked away. Naruto watched as she walked, transfixed by her figure, which had only improved since the war.

"We're still meeting for dinner tonight, right?" He shouted after her, which alerted the entire waiting room. Sakura turned around, her face beet red in embarrassment.

"Not if you keep yelling like an idiot, we're not." She blustered. Naruto smiled. He knew she was embarrassed but also slightly pleased at his reminder.

"I'll see you at six, then." He replied back, giving her a soft smile which she returned. She turned to leave again, her white coat fluttering behind her.

So after that day, Naruto found different ways to visit the hospital, which was difficult, considering Naruto's healing ability. He had tried to simply break a bone while training, but by the time he had arrived at the hospital, Kurama had already healed it completely. And thus began Naruto's long mission to find a way to stay in the hospital long enough. Surprisingly enough, Naruto's many false alarms trips didn't seem to upset most of the nurses. He suspected this was due to what Sakura called the "Pretty Boy Syndrome". She had had to spell it out for him.

"Pretty Boy Syndrome? What's that Sakura-chan?" Naruto asked, frowning as he pulled his shirt back on. His trip this time involved a broken rib that had healed right before he was admitted. Once again, he had been too quick. Sakura leaned against the door frame, a slight tick showing in her forehead. Naruto made a mental note not to further aggravate her.

"It means that nurses love tending to a good looking patient, no matter if he's fooling them or not." Sakura entailed, letting out a breath of frustration. Damn her mostly female staff. It was their fault for encouraging Naruto's stupid behavior. Anytime the Hokage-in-training came in with an 'injury' there would be at least three nurses battling over who would get to tend to the Uzumaki this time. She would soon have to issue a memo to only allow Sakura to handle any of Naruto's cases. This would soon make since seeing as he would be Hokage and she was the head nin. Once she alone got to handle Naruto's cases, there would be a huge drop in his 'visits' if he knew what was best for him.

"Dammit, Naruto, you're distracting my team every time you come in. Baka, save your trips for real problems!" Sakura had chided as she left.

Suffice it to say that after that incident, Naruto's trips did lessen to an extent, but not completely. He just got sneakier about his visits. He started giving tours anytime a guest came to the village, or when a new vaccine was available, and as always, he always demanded that he only be seen by the head nin.

This all changed a couple of weeks later when Naruto woke one morning to a pounding headache and chills. He soon dispatched a clone to fetch the only person he knew who could handle this. Twenty minutes later, Sakura entered his bedroom in a slight panic. Naruto's clone had looked terrible himself and she could only imagine the state the Hokage was in. She calmed slightly at the sight of Naruto, trying to keep her calm mask on. She leaned down and felt his forehead.

"Naruto, you're burning up!" She exclaimed. "What else is bothering you?"

"My head hurts and it feels like it's going to explode. I feel really cold and tired too." Naruto sluggishly drawled out, his voice clearly showing terrible congestion. "I'm feel like I'm going to die" Sakura snorted at this last bit.

"Oh, Naruto, stop acting like a child. You merely have some kind of virus. You'll just need to rest for a couple of days. I'll be sure to have Shikamaru bring your work here and have Kakashi-sensei handle the rest." Sakura briefed him swiftly, pulling some supplies out of her bag. Naruto perked up at this.

"So this means I'm really sick, huh, Sakura-chan?" Naruto tried to tease. Sakura almost felt bad for him.

"Yes, Hokage-sama, you should stay in bed for at least three days." She teased back, talking in her chirpy nurse voice.

"And someone will obviously need to come check on me, right?" He asked again, a slight mischievous smile creeping on his face. Sakura leaned down close to him.

Of course, Hokage-sama, what kind of head nin would I be if I didn't send a nurse to see after you? I'll be sure to have Yuki-san come every three hours." Sakura replied with a nasty grin. Naruto blanched visibly. Yuki-san was one of the more 'enthusiastic' nurses who would cling to Naruto every time he would come in.

"Oh, please, Sakura-chan, anyone but her!" Naruto pleaded, almost sounding like a small child. Sakura smiled as she sat next to Naruto on the bed and ran a hand through his hair affectionately.

"You wouldn't like that?" She asked and Naruto gave her a glare. "Alright, I guess I can work some visits into my busy schedule, Hokage-sama." She murmured and pressed a kiss on his temple.

"Thank you, Sakura-chan." Naruto rasped out.

"Will you now stop bombarding my hospital with ridiculous reasons to visit?" Sakura replied softly and Naruto nodded his head and snuggled close to Sakura, who merely just grinned. "You know, if you want to see me more often, you could just take me to lunch more often. You know, like how normal boyfriends do it." Naruto grinned.

"Yea, but what would be the fun in that?" Naruto asked and Sakura only shook her head in amusement. Of all the shinobi for her to date, it had to be this knucklehead. But she wouldn't have it any other way.
