Chapter 11

Hilbert met Drew on the way to the girls' apartment. "Hiya Drew! Where are you going?" Hilbert asked, his face grinning about the fact that Hilda needed her. "I'm going to May's apartment." Drew said cooly. Hilbert frowned. "So I wasn't the only one they asked for help." Drew raised his eyebrow. "They then probably asked Paul as well then." Hilbert nodded, looking around to see the plum head. "Maybe he's going to be late." Hilbert guessed and they together walked to the apartment.

They knocked the apartment door and the door opened, showing Hilda. "HILDA!" Hilbert said as he jumped to hug her. She quickly stepped aside, causing Hilbert to fall on the ground on his face. "Ouch." Drew said, heading in. "You'd better stop it." Hilda said as she dragged him in and closed the door.

As Drew walked in he saw May, Dawn, and Paul talking to each other. "Oh, you are here." Drew said. "Got a problem?" Paul asked frowning. "No, of course not!" Drew snickered as he sat next to May. Hilda dragged Hilbert in, and tossed him on the sofa. "We won't need him for a while." She said. The boys stared at her, amazed by her strength.

"Now, about the details?" Drew asked. "Right…." Dawn said, glancing at Hilda and Dawn nervously. Dawn took a deep breath, "So, what you will hear from now on is possibly unbelievable but you have to believe me." Drew nodded and Paul just kept on listening. "Hilda, May, and I are from the future." Drew raised his eyebrow and Paul frowned. "We are spies working for Pokemon Safety Agency. We came from Violet City, Johto. Year 2150. We got this mission to catch the world famous criminal Bellistone Among. He was the member during the past but was dissatisfied about his life and started to commit crime secretly but when he got caught it was proven that most of the unsolved crime was committed by him. Now he came here for some reason that we honestly don't know."

"There's a possible way that he came here to kill Dawn's ancestor, possible one is Ivy von Viette." Hilda added, making the rest surprised and causing Hilbert to sit up, but no one cared. "Why didn't you tell us that?" May asked. "I wasn't so sure about it back then, but seriously, you two looks exactly alike with same surname. It is possible, isn't it?" Hilda said. She heard someone gulp. "That means you guys are spies, assassins, came here for a mission." Hilbert said, breaking the silence. "Yes." May answered. "You guys are not going to stay here." Drew asked. "We will return to the future as soon as we arrest Bellistone." Dawn answered. Paul remained silent. And so did everyone else.

"Are you guys going to help us?" May asked, bit cautiously. The boys looked at each other, couldn't believe what the girls were telling them. "You guys are not joking about this matter, right?" Drew asked. "Why should we lie and joke to you? You saw Dawn, hurt. It was him." Hilda said, she was mad, a little. "I believe you. And I will help you." Hilbert said, looking at his crush. "Thank you." Hilda said. "And you?" May asked, looking at Drew. He blinked, "I will have to think about it." Drew said, standing up. "Wait." May grabbed his hand. "Please help us. We can't do this ourselves, we know that now." May pleaded. Drew stared at the brunette, not knowing what to say.

He glanced at Paul, "Paul, what are you going to do?" Dawn asked, taking Drew's place. "I…" Paul looked up at Dawn. "He looked like Reggie?" Paul asked once more. "Well, yes. Except that Reggie is rather a handsome one and he was a pretty one." Paul frowned at the word 'handsome', making Hilbert chuckle. "I will help you." Paul said, standing up to leave. "I will call you if I see a 'pretty' man who looks like Reggie." He walked to the door and headed out of the apartment. "Bye Paul." Dawn whispered.

Drew followed Paul out, "I will help ya May. Don't worry." He flicked his hair and ran out. Hilbert stayed. "Is it over now? Can I go?" He asked. "Yes! Please go!" Hilda said. Hilbert hurried out, winking at her and closed the door. "Ew." Hilda said, "Do you think they will really help us? I mean, do you think they can really be a help?" She added. "I hope so. And I do hope I run into that guy again, I want to beat the hell out of him." Dawn said, crackling her knuckles. "And I will help you with it." May said, laughing a bit.

Paul, Drew, and Hilbert discussed the matter as well as they were walking to Drew's. "Pretty looking Reggie. That would look horrible if you ask me." Paul said. "Um, Paul? Reggie looks better than you." Hilbert said, earning a punch on his arm, a powerful one. "Oww!" Hilbert protested. "Look out for the purple hair, dude." Drew said, chuckling. "Seriously?" Paul asked. "No, not you. I meant him." Drew said, pointing at a man, he had a purple hair, longer than Reggie's, tied into a pony tail, and was wearing an outfit looking like a kimono, a warrior's one. "I think that's him." He said, pulling out his phone.

The man turned around and saw them. He smiled and walked toward them, "Hello." He said, smiling. "Hello? Do I know you?" Hilbert asked. "Not you sir, I meant him." The man said, nodding at Paul. 'Mild mannered for someone who would hurt a lady.' Paul thought. "Do I know you?" Paul asked. "Yes. I know you very well. And I know your brother as well." He said as he bowed to Paul. "I am Phantom Gift. Pleasure to meet you." While he was doing that Drew texted to May behind his back.

'Help need here. Front of the church.' He sent the text and silently put it into his pocket. "You know, you do look like my brother. Have we met?" Paul asked, smirking at the man who was taller than him. "No, we haven't. I have only heard of you sir. But it is a great pleasure to meet you in person." Phantom said. "Is Phantom really your name?" Hilbert asked, earning a glare from Paul. "What? I was curious." Hilbert protested. "Jupiter." Phantom said, smiling at Hilbert. "Oh. Well why didn't you keep the name?" Hilbert asked again. "Would you like me to answer?" Phantom asked, smiling, a deadly, cold, devilish one. It was just a smile but it contained all the things about evil. "I don't want to know."

Suddenly a Pachirisu appeared out of nowhere, nudging at Paul. He smiled. "Would you like to meet my friend?" He asked, holding her up for Phantom to see. He raised his brow. Pachirisu's cheeks started to crackle with lightning and as soon as Paul released her, it Discharged its electricity at Phantom. But to her their surprise, he didn't got attacked. "And I thought you were going to help me." Phantom said sadly, next to him a Gengar appeared, cackling. Phantom grabbed the Gengar's head, disappearing together.

"What was that?" Paul turned to see Dawn, in her blue combat suit. "Pachi!" Pachirisu ran to her owner. "Well, what was that all about?" Dawn repeated again. "Can't any of you answer?" May asked, red combat suit. "I was about to. He seems to know me." Paul said, putting his hands into his pocket. "How?" Hilda asked, in her white combat suit. "Don't ask me, I don't know him." Paul said. "Well, anything else?" Dawn asked. "His name is Jupiter Gift. But he calls himself Phantom. He had this Gengar-" "He defeated all of my Pokemons with that Gengar." Dawn said, scowling.

"Well, now that he's gone, what should we do?" May asked, looking slightly angry. "We should look for him. If that Bellistone dude is still in Hearthome, then he is too. Let's spread out and search for him." Hilbert said. "You can actually think!" Hilda exclaimed. "HEY!"

"Stop arguing, we are going to spread out. Hilda, you go with Hilbert, Drew and May will stick together and Paul and I will go as well. Hilda, go to North and West. May, South and East. I will go to the forest." Dawn ordered. "Got it." The girls nodded, not arguing and grabbed their partner and dashed to their area. "We should go. Do you have a Flying type Pokemon?" Dawn asked Paul. "Yes, why do you….?" "Togekiss!" Dawn released her Pokemon. "We are going to fly there."
