Lelouch enters his room and walks to sit at his desk. Lelouch is Rai okay C.C asked. Yes he is but why are you asking C.C Lelouch said. Because I found his bag on the day he disappeared C.C said pulling a bag from under the bed. What the that is Rai's bag but why do you have it C.C Lelouch asked. I sensed someone from my past at the entrance of the academy and when I arrived there no one was there but Rai's bag was just lying on the ground C.C explained. Who was this someone you sensed from your past C.C Lelouch asked. It was the Chinese madman Mao as the man on tv put it C.C said.

So this Mao you know him C.C Lelouch said. Yes I do but I don't like talking about it C.C said. Understandable C.C it must be complicated Lelouch said. The man on tv said he was working for a few days to get rid of the bomb but what about Rai C.C said. Your saying that Rai was the one that went up against Mao and that's why he was gone for the same timeframe Lelouch said. Yes that is what i'm saying Lelouch and why did the man on tv have a ashford academy uniform and was wearing sunglasses and a hat C.C said. You mean that the man that was interviewed and Rai are one in the same Lelouch said. Yes Rai beat Mao but only barely and by the time he got back to land he was nearly at his limits C.C said.

That's why he fell down to the floor in the doorway that idiot why didn't he get help Lelouch said. Because Mao probability gave him no choice C.C said. Kallen heads into the infirmary where Rai is sleeping. She walks over to the bed and sits in the chair. Rai its Kallen how did this happen to you Kallen said reaching her hand out to Rai's hand. While I was carrying him I noticed that his entire body was pushed to its limit Suzaku said. Why would Rai's body be at its limit Suzaku Shirley asked. I wake up and look around and see Kallen asleep in the chair with her head on the bed and her hand in mine. I decide to keep holding Kallen's hand. I sit up and look around the room. I'm in the infirmary again but my body is in huge pain. I look down to Kallen who's still sleeping. She is so cute I said smiling. I hear a moan and Kallen starts to wake up. Hey there sleepy head I said. Kallen jumps backward in the chair to where her hand slips out of mine. Rai how long have you been awake Kallen asked. For about ten minutes Kallen I said. I walk through the grounds and decide to go to the garden. I sit down on the bench and smell the fresh air. I look up into the sky for awhile. I look at my watch to see what the time. I reach the dining room and look in and see C.C talking with the woman. So is that woman M.M like from my memory. I walk in the dining room and they looked at me. How have you been since you escaped the island I asked. Very good i've been here in japan for all these years since I don't like moving around that much M.M said. I wait in the infirmary for anyone to come in. The door opens and no one comes in. When I was about to fall into boredom Arthur jumps up onto the bed. Hey there Arthur I said reaching to him. I fall asleep for the day and wake up the next day at 5:00am. I look around and get out of bed and throw on some fresh clothes. I walk towards the clubhouse door. I start my walk by walking to the gate. I arrive and look outside into the city. Man my body is still on the mend I said. I continue my walk to the garden and sit down on the bench. No royal family members survived the war they all died on the battlefield during the final battle which resulted with no winner since no one survived. The emperor got this news of his family from his best friend and the best general. The emperor buried his family and then turned his attention to the world and declared war against all other nations. Damn it father you spiraled into madness after losing us.

I head off to the infirmary and rest for the rest of the day. Rai are you in here Kallen said coming in. Yes Kallen i'm here I said as she sat down. I walk around for a bit and head on to the classroom. I arrive and see nobody inside which is understandable its 30 minutes before the first class. I head to my seat and sit down. I wait around reading a book when Kallen comes in and sits down in her seat. Our eyes meet and have a silent conservation between ourselves. The both of us return to our books because students were coming down the hall and entering the classroom.

The teacher walks in and waits for everybody to take their seat. Ok students today we are going to go back to the 11 year war. The defense of the island to be precise. Why you guys are thinking I forgot to go over a man that played a major part in the final years of the war. This man was Lloyd Savage or what he would later be called Lloyd the betrayer. I clench my fists while hiding them at the exact moment he said that man's name. He and the tactician were childhood friends and helped during the war against the enemy onslaught. At the beginning of the 10th year of the war Lloyd betrayed the people he was helping all this time. He led assaults with his plans but the tactician countered Lloyd's plans and all of the betrayer's plans failed.

During the last two of the last year both armies clashed in a burning citadel. Both of armies died and the tactician faced of against Lloyd on bloodied earth and sand and a red sky. The two fought for a whole day wounding each other. In the final hours of the war the both of them were tired and were still fighting. The tactician cut Lloyds legs to where his opponent couldn't stand. Lloyd fell to the ground and the tactician bloodied up pulled out his pistol and shot his last bullet into Lloyd's chest and walked to the beach. He sat down and looked toward the horizon and saw the britannian navy coming to the horizon. His last bit of strength gave out and he passed out. He woke up on a ship alone heading down to the antarctic and froze. That's all we know that happened on everyone and thing on that front now next class will be.. the teacher couldn't finish as the bell rang.

I finish off the day and drop off by bag before heading to the gates. Kallen and I start heading to the base. We arrive and head our own ways for now. I head to my room and changed into my uniform putting my guns under the jacket and grab my sword. I head to go talk to Zero. I walk into the cc and looked around for Zero. Glad your back Rai please sit down Zero said as he came down the stairs. I sit down and wait for Zero to say what he wants to.

I couldn't do any big operations without you here Rai glad your here now Zero said. Yeah sorry about that I had to save innocents from Mao's bomb I said. Yes I heard about that really reckless of you Zero said. I know but he had it rigged to where he would set it off if I asked for help from anyone I said. That Mao is troublesome but he will stay put for now Zero said. So are we going to raid the facility Zero I asked. Yes I planned on it for some time now and came up with a plan Zero said pushing the laptop he was carrying to me.

I open it and look at the plan. Your the only one who knows the layout of the place so what can you do to help the plan Zero said. Well first off the guards are very lazy and the turrets need to be manned by the guards. Also their are a few people inside the facility workers that are allies. I met one of them before when I went and got some supplies for my school. He's the mechanic for the C block his name is Brad. Then there's the doctor of C block her name is Lucy. There's also a guard in C block his name is Sam. Those three along with all the prisoners need to get out. Also those three will be in C block working when we assault they'll know what it means. They will open all the prisoner who will cause a riot and we will send in a small yet elite team to make sure everyone gets out. We'll need the rest of the black knights to hold off the knightmares from the knightmare bay. So with permission i'll lead the elite team and make sure prisoner #0 doesn't wake up. When all the prisoners escaped the elite team will set up a array of explosives and get out before the 5 minutes are up. The explosion should destroy everything in the facility I finished.

Zero took all this in and thought for awhile. You have permission to lead the team Rai so who's going to be in your team Zero said. I'll be taking the six people under my command with me and nobody else I said. Seven people a good number small and fast Zero said. So when will the operation begin I asked. At 1:00 will be heading out and we will attack at the break of dawn Zero said. Understood i'll go and get ready Zero I said leaving.

I head to the gekka that's blue and hop into the cockpit and look at the system to see its capabilities. It can take being a little faster in all areas but my body has just recovered. I decide to leave it be and talk to the others until we move out.
