"All right, say Bloody Mary really is haunting this town." Dean said as the three siblings walked into a library. "There's gonna be some sort of proof, right? A local woman who died nasty."
"Yeah, but a legend this wide spread, it's hard." Sam said as they kept walking.
"Also we got to think that there are like fifty versions of who she really is." Isabelle told them as she crosses her arms.
"Exactly. One story says she's a witch another says she's a mutilated bride." Sam picked up before his twin could say anything else.
"So here comes the fun part." Isabelle looked at her two brothers. "We gotta search local newspapers, public records as far as they go. Make sure you look for any sign of a Mary that fits what we're looking for."
Dean looked at his younger sister then to his younger brother. "Well that sounds annoying."
"No it won't be so bad, as long as we…" Sam trailed off when he saw that the computers are down. "I take it back. This will be very annoying."
"Well, let's not just stand here and look at the computers!" Isabelle said as she saw the look on her older brothers' face. Which at the sight caused a small giggle to escape her mouth.
As the siblings took out every record and newspaper they could find about the small town the twins started to do their research. Once Dean sits the last record down he joins his younger brother and sister. Isabelle started at the main beginning of the town and looked through any police reports, but nothing was found. While Dean looked through the newspapers and Sam helping his twin the siblings started to get the feeling that they wouldn't find anything. But it didn't stop them from looking. Finally finding something that as to do with a mirror Isabelle ran to print them off without even looking to see if they had anything to do with a Mary. Telling her brothers that she may have found something the brothers only nodded not paying attention since they are engross in their own researching. As she printed off the paper Isabelle couldn't help but feel kinda of lonely. Even though her brothers are there and it's somewhat like old times, Isabelle just can't shake off the feeling of their father. Once she got it printed and paid the librarian the twin made her way back to her brothers.
Seeing that her brothers had some more papers and books marked Isabelle grabbed as many as she could to go and print them off. As she got the papers and book pages printed her twin and older brother walked over to her. They stood there not talking just letting the printer print off the things they had find. Right when the printer cut off and the last page came out Isabelle gather up them up as the same librarian told them they have to close. Walking out Isabelle ran over to the Impala and got in the passenger side. Smiling up at her twin as their older brother let a chuckle out Sam rolled his eyes and got in the back. While they made their way to the hotel Isabelle skimmed over the papers but was soon brought out of it when Dean turned up the radio. Smiling at her older brother Dean and Isabelle sang along with the song that is blasting through the Impala's speakers. Sam shook his head at his siblings but the small fun soon stops when they got to the hotel. Turning off the Impala the three Winchesters got out and walked into the room. Lying on the bed Isabelle went through the papers handing some to her brothers as she did so.
Reading one of the papers about a woman dying because a mirror feel on top of her Isabelle skimmed through it only to see that it said nothing about a Mary. Letting her head hit the bed and the sound of papers crinkling filled the room Dean and Sam looked over at their younger sister. Raising her head Isabelle threw the paper onto the floor and began to read the next set of papers. This time she found somebody name Mary, getting excited she read on only to see that she didn't die near or in front of a mirror instead she was killed at a lake when her ex-boyfriend shot her. Throwing that on the floor the brothers watched their younger sister as she read and threw papers on the floor. When there was a little pile of papers on the floor Dean told Isabelle to go to bed and get some rest. Shaking her head Isabelle took a drink of a monster and took some more papers from the table and began to read through those. But after the third paper she read Sam notice that his twin was nodding off. Looking at the time he saw that it was almost three in the morning. Taking the papers from his twins hands he pushed her back and told her to go to sleep. Not arguing with him Isabelle only nodded her head as she closed her eyes and let the sleep took over her.
~;)~
Looking at the computer screen Isabelle took a drink from her Java Monster; ever since she woke up that morning she couldn't help but be mad at her brothers. Knowing that she could have stayed awake a little while longer and helped them look she also understood why they made her go to sleep. Who wants a sleep deprive younger sister all day? Also with her having little to no sleep she tends to mess up on hunts. But when she did wake Dean had a Monster and coffee cake waiting for her, she knew that it was his way of saying sorry. So Isabelle said her thanks as an 'its okay' and went back to researching. Every now and then she heard her twin made a noise and she knew that it must be a nightmare. One of the things she hates is that her twin barely sleeps and when he does he always ends up having nightmares of his girlfriend. Dean felt bad for letting Sam fall asleep no longer then their sister did but he also knew that his brother needed the rest.
As the two siblings looked and read through many articles that has to do with a Mary and a mirror they heard their brother gasp. Looking over to him Isabelle watched as Sam looked up at the ceiling and tries to get his breath back.
"Why'd you let me fall asleep?" Sam asked as he kept looking up.
"'Cause I'm an awesome brother." Dean replied as he looked back down at a book he was reading. Knowing what the dream was about Dean couldn't but look back up and asked Sam. "So, what did you dream about?"
"Lollipops and candy canes." Was all Sam said. Isabelle shook her head, she always knew that her two brothers never say anything about their feelings 'cause it will always lead to a chick flick moment as Dean would always say. "You two find anything?" Sam asked he looked over to his siblings.
"Oh, besides a whole new level of frustration?" Dean said as she made eye contact with his brother for a second before looking back down at the book. "No."
"We've looked at everything." Isabelle piped up as her twin started to get out of bed. "A few local women, a Laura and a Catherine, committed suicide in front of mirror."
"Don't forget a giant mirror feel on a guy name Dave." Isabelle nodded her head totally forgetting about him. "But, uh… no Mary." Sam fell back on the bed with a groan.
"Maybe we just haven't found it yet." Sam said.
"Yeah, that's it…'cause there's nobody name Mary in the whole US or world." Isabelle looked at her twin before looking back at the laptop and searching once again for a Mary and a mirror.
"I've also been searching for strange deaths in the area, you know, eyeball bleeding, that sort of thing. " Dean replied after their sister got done. "There's nothing. Whatever's happening here, maybe it just ain't Mary."
"Maybe, think about it how many of these cases do we go on and it's always ends up something else." Isabelle commented just as Sam's cell phone rang. "Who could be calling you? Maybe it's that one girl with the beard, or the man who looked like a woman." Sam glared at her as he went to answer his cell while his twin and brother laughed.
As Sam talked to whoever is on the phone Isabelle and Dean watched as their brother got up and started to put on his shoes and jacket. Getting the hint the two followed the same thing Sam did and walked out of the hotel room. As Sam told whoever is on the cell to tell him where they are he gave the direction to Dean. Driving to a park Sam told the person bye as the three siblings got out. Following Sam to a bench where teenage girl sat crying Isabelle knew this had to be the girl they meet at the Shoemakers house. As the teenage girl, whose name is Charlie, told them how her friend Jill died Isabelle couldn't help up feel bad for the girl. She stood beside the girl rubbing her back trying to comfort the crying teenage girl. Charlie went on to say how they found her friend that her eyes where gone. Sam held sadness in his eyes as he told the girl he was sorry but she didn't say anything as she went to tell the siblings that she heard Jill say it. Dean looked at his brother as well did Isabelle, they all three knew what she was talking about. Charlie didn't want to believe that her friend dies because she said Bloody Mary three times.
"I'm insane, right?" Charlie asked looking up at Sam.
"No, you're not insane." Dean told her looking at her as Isabelle rubbed her back.
"God, that makes me feel so much worse."
"Look…" The three siblings shared a look before Isabelle took over.
"We think something's happening here, something that can't be explained." Charlie looked at Isabelle as she said this.
"And we're gonna stop it, but we could use your help." Dean said as he looked at Charlie.
Once they convinced Charlie to take them to Jill's house the three siblings followed behind Charlie to her friend's house. Isabelle sat in the back sit listening to her brothers go over what they should be looking for. When they reached the house Dean parked the Impala down the street so the parent or parents of Jill wouldn't expect anything. Gathering everything they need from the trunk the three siblings made their way to the back of the house where Jill's bedroom is. Watching as her brothers climbed a tree beside the house and onto the roof top Isabelle reached up the bag before climbing herself. Charlie came over to the window and let them in, as Sam asked Charlie what did she say to the dead teens mother Charlie only said that she told her she need some time alone with Jill's things. Isabelle shut the window after Charlie told Sam and shut the curtains making it semi dark in the room. As she walked over to go through the bag Dean told Charlie to shut off the lights making the whole room dark. Sam turned on a hand held camera and asked Isabelle to turn on the night vision. Turning it on for him Isabelle looked at the room trying to imagine where the teenage girl has said it. Hearing her older brother ask her twin if he looked like Paris Hilton Isabelle let a smile come to her face.
"So, I don't get it." Sam started as he took the camera around a mirror that was hooked the back of a closet door.
"There's a lot of things you don't get Sam." Isabelle said as Sam turn to glare at her before he went on with what he was saying.
"I mean, the first victim didn't summon Mary, and the second victim did. How's she choosing them?"
"Beats me." Den replied as he walked around with an EMF reader. Isabelle took the camera from her twin and walked into the bathroom looking around the mirror in there. "I want to know why Jill said it in the first place."
"It was just a joke." Charlie said looking kinda of scared.
"This is why we don't joke about legends kids." Isabelle said as she moved the camera just above the sink. "Hey, there is a black light out in the car right?"
As Dean went out to the car to retrieve the item his sister asked for Sam helped her get the mirror down from the wall. Right when Dean came back in through the window Sam had the mirror down and was sitting it on the bed. Charlie didn't say anything as she watched the three siblings to the thing they are best at. While Dean toss the black light to his brother Isabelle torn off the paper on the back of the mirror. When she was done with that Sam moved the black light across the back what they saw shocked them. A hand print and a name of a male: Gary Bryman. Isabelle looked up at Charlie as she said the male's name. Asking her if she knew who it was Charlie shook her head before saying no. Isabelle looked at her brothers before getting up and heading back out the window. Looks like it's to the hospital to find out who this guy is.
Looking through the papers that a nurse had given her Isabelle skimmed through them and took notes. When she got done reading them she couldn't believe it. Telling the nurse thanks Isabelle took her paper that she had wrote on and ran out of the hospital to where her two brothers are along with Charlie. When she saw them sitting on a bench right where she left them Isabelle slowed down to a walk to catch her breath. Walking beside them she started to tell them that Gary Bryman was an eight year old boy. She also told them that two years ago he was killed in a hit and run, and that the car was described as a black Toyota Camry, and to add to it nobody got the plates or saw the driver. Isabelle looked to Charlie who looked too shocked as she started too talked. Dean looked at her as Sam asked what only to have Charlie tell them that Jill drove the car. Dean made a face as if to say he saw it coming but only said that they need to get back to Donna's house.
Once again in the Shoemakers house and upstairs in the bathroom the siblings took the mirror down and ripped of the paper as Sam took the black light over it. What name was there a woman name Linda Shoemaker. Isabelle took in a deep breath and let it out not liking where this is going at all. Standing down stairs of the Shoemakers house Isabelle asked Donna who Linda was only to have the teen ask her in return why is she asking her.
"Look, we're sorry, but it's important." Sam said to Donna who looked like she was not in the mood for all these questions.
"Yeah. Linda's my mom, okay? And she overdosed on sleeping pills. It was an accident, and that's it." Donna said as her voice kinda got higher. Isabelle looked at the poor teenage girl knowing that her mothers death was no accident. "I think you should leave."
"Donna, just listen-" Isabelle tried to talk to the teenage girl but Donna just cut her off by screaming.
"Get out of my house!" With that the teenage girl walked out the back door and slammed it.
"Oh, my God. Do you really think her dad could have killed her mom?" Charlie asked as she looked at the three siblings.
"Maybe." Was all Sam said.
Charlie told them that she should stick around only to have Isabelle tell her not to say the name. Charlie told her she wouldn't with a very stern voice as she looked at the three siblings.
