There is one review I need to answer. A guest reviewer, Alexa, asked, "What did Blackbeard give Emma? Does the effect just wear off?" The answer is yes, the effect just wears off, and it was just a potion Blackbeard found in Gold's shop. I hope that clears things up for you!

Chapter Eleven

"Where are you going to get gold?"

Killian shrugged. "While I was looking looking for your ring, I went to a few different jewelers-"

"Wait, hold on. You want to steal?" Emma asked in disbelief

"Of course not!" Killian scoffed. "No, no. We simply borrow the jewels, bribe Blackbeard, and then lock him up."
"Killian, not a single jeweler in town is going to agree to that," Emma said.

"They will if you ask."

"Why me?"

Killian gave her an unamused look. "You're the Saviour. You've saved their-"
"Killian, I am not going to use my title as the Saviour to get what I want." She crossed her arms over her chest.

"But, again, you're about to save their-"
"Killian!" Emma shouted and pronounced every syllable of his name. "No."

Killian sighed. "Alright, fine. I'm sure Gold's shop has something we can use."

Emma smiled. "Good thinking." Emma's smile faded. She sighed and buried her face in her hands.

Killian put his hand on her shoulder. "Love, we're going to stop him."

Emma shook her head and looked at him. "I know, but it's not that."

"What is it?"
"Archie. Do we even know where he is?"

Killian sighed. "I'll call David and tell him I'll be there soon."

Emma opened her mouth to protest, but she closed it again. Archie was more important than her wants. Killian didn't need to be with her the whole time she was in the hospital.

"What's wrong?" Killian asked. He hadn't missed Emma's action.

Emma shook her head. "Nothing. Be safe."
"Love, I don't have to go. I am sure David can handle it on his own."

She shook her head again. "No, it's fine. Archie is more important right now. Just… come back when you're done and be safe."

Killian kissed her. "I will."

Emma smiled.

The door opened and Whale walked in. "Okay, Emma, I'm just going to do a quick check up and then you're free to go."

Emma looked at Killian, smile wide.

He smiled. "I'll tell David that we will be over soon."

Emma nodded and watched as Killian walked out the door, phone to his ear.

Killian walked in a minute later, smile on his face as he went and stood next to Emma.

Whale looked up from his clipboard where he was taking notes and smiled. "You are all ready to go, Emma. Let me just detach from the machines and discharge you."

"Thank you," Emma said.

Whale nodded as he detached Emma from the machines she had been connected to. When he had finished, he said, "Just gather all your belongings and you're free to go." He walked out of the room.

Killian helped Emma out of the bed and immediately pulled her into a hug.

"Are you okay?" Emma asked as she hugged him back.

Killian nodded. "I've just missed holding you in my arms."

Emma smiled. "Me too." She knew she was only in the hospital for a day, but she hated not being able to hold or be held by her husband.

Killian pulled back just enough to see Emma's face. He leaned down and kissed her. "Let's go."

Emma smiled and pulled away. She walked over to the bedside table and grabbed her phone and car keys. She walked back over to Killian and took his hand. "Now, let's go."

Killian smiled and the two walked out of there together.

"I checked his office and house already, he's not there," David explained.

"Blackbeard probably went straight to the Jolly Roger, so perhaps he took him there," Killian suggested.

"I agree, but if so, how do we check? Blackbeard is probably there still," Emma said.

"He nor is crew are on it," Killian said.

"How do you know?" Emma asked.

"I know Blackbeard, and he hasn't changed. He's probably at the Rabbit Hole right now, drinking away with his crew," Killian explained.

"Well, if he is, we can just take back the Jolly Roger," Emma said.

"How would we do that?" David spoke.

"I don't know. A magical barrier," Emma suggested.

"No," David said.

"Absolutely not," Killian said at the same time as David.

Emma smiled at the way they protected her. "I'm not talking about me making a magical barrier, I'm talking about Blue."

David nodded. "That's a good idea."

"I will go check the docks and make sure Blackbeard and his crew are gone," Killian said. "I'll call you when I find out."

"You're not going alone," Emma said.

"I'll be fine, love," he said.

Emma shook her head. "No way. I'm coming with you."

"You have to contact Blue," Killian reasoned.

"Hook's right, Emma," David said. "You need to contact Blue. I will go with Hook."

"Dad…"

"It's fine, Emma. Anyway, you need all the rest you can get. You just got out of the hospital," David said.

Emma sighed. She knew her family wasn't going to let her go. "Alright, fine."

Killian smiled. "Brilliant."

Emma laughed. "But be safe."

"I always am." He gave her a quick peck on the lips.

Emma smiled. "Call me right after you figure out if Blackbeard is there or not."

"I will," he said, smiling. "See you in a little bit." He pulled away and looked at David. "Let's go."

David smiled and the two men walked out of the station.

Killian stepped aboard his ship and immediately started looking. He hurried down to the Captain's Quarters and looked around. No one was there.

"All clear in here!" David yelled.

Killian went to go see where David was. He was in the Crew's Quarters.

"Is the Captain's Quarters empty?" David asked.

Killian nodded. "Come on. We need to search the rest of the ship."

For the next ten minutes, David and Killian ran around the Jolly Roger, looking for anyone who might still be aboard. It was empty.

"I'll call Emma," Killian said. "We need that protection spell right away." Killian pulled out his phone and called Emma.

She answered immediately. "I'm on my way." She hung up.

Killian laughed and put his phone in her pocket. "She's coming."

"She's here!"

They turned around to see Emma walking aboard the Jolly Roger.

"That was quick," David said.

Killian looked suspiciously at Emma. "Were you here the whole time?"

Emma smirked and put her hands on her hips. "You never know."

Killian laughed. "Where's Blue?"

"She's on her away. She should be here any second," Emma explained.

As if on cue, the Blue Fairy appeared in a cloud of blue smoke. "Okay. You want a protection spell over your ship?" she asked Killian.

Killian nodded. "Yes."
Blue nodded and pulled out her wand. She lifted her arms up. A moment later, a white light shot out of her wand and shot up towards the sky. The light showered over the whole ship and then disappeared. Blue put her arms down and looked at Killian. "There. Now, Blackbeard and his crew cannot come aboard this ship."

Killian smiled. "Thank you, Blue."

Blue nodded. "My pleasure. Have a nice day." She disappeared in a cloud of blue smoke.

Emma smiled and looked at Killian. "We did it."

Killian nodded. "Aye, that we did. Now, all we have to do is lock Blackbeard and his crew up and find Archie."

Emma nodded. "Archie wasn't on board?"

Killian shook his head. "No, he wasn't."

"Well, as soon as we get Blackbeard, he's telling us where Archie is."

Killian could hear the amount of anger in her voice. He put his hand on her arms and rubbed them slowly. "It's okay. We'll find Archie and arrest Blackbeard."

Emma nodded. Her eyes seemed to blaze. "I know. Blackbeard is going to pay-"

"Whoa, Emma. Calm down. We are going to arrest him."

"What if he gets out again? We can't have someone like that running around town the babies are born. We should just make sure he can't get out. We need… we need to kill him."
