Amber's POV
"Hey guys." KT said, smiling.
"Hey K!" I said. It was kind of a nickname I gave her; 'K'. Cause it's her first initial, and it rhymes with hey. I don't know, I think I've been hanging with Alfie a little too much. Nah! I realized that the dining table was twice the size it usually was. "Um, Trudy? Is that a new dining table?"
"Yes, Mr. Sweet ordered it in for us because we now have such a large amount of people in the house." Trudy replied.
"It sure is harder to set." KT said. I laughed.
"Here, let me help." I said, as I took some plates from KT's hands, and began to put them I front of each chair.
"I'll help to!" Emma said. She grabbed some plates from Mara, and began to set the table with the rest of us.
"Thank you, Emma." Mara said.
"I wonder ware everybody is." I said. I didn't mean to say it aloud, but I'm curious.
"I'll go get the girls." Mara said, as she put down the last plate in her hand. She walked into the main hallway, and up the stairs, before she disappeared. I began to set the silverware with KT, and Emma, while Trudy began to put the food on the table. I noticed Trudy had made much more food then usual; and with Alfie in this house, that says a lot! I guess this whole '9 new students' affects everybody. Trudy's going to have to cook, and clean more. The new kids are horrified about a new school. We don't know what gonna happen with Sibuna yet; the new kids haven't even been here a day, and we already have Anubis Drama!
"You guys need help setting the table?" Fabian asked. When did Fabian get here?
"Sure, that'd be great!" KT replies. Fabian helps Trudy with the food.
"Where is everybody?" Fabian asked.
"Mara just went to get the girls." I replied. He nodded.
"I thought you kids were supposed to come down when I called for supper!" Trudy says, jokily. We laughed at her making fun of us. "You know, I just thought Alfie would be here 10 minuets early like usual."
"So that's how he's always the first one here!" KT says, in realization.
"You didn't know he did that?" I asked. She just shrugged in response. I would have thought that by now she would have figured out that Alfie takes food a little too seriously.
"I'll go get the boys." Fabian says, as he walks out of the kitchen.
Emma's POV
"I can go get my friends." I suggest. I'm not sure if Mara will remember to get them.
"If you would like." The House Mother says.
"Thanks, um..." I tried, I really did! I have no idea what to call her! I forgot to ask Amber!
"Call me Trudy, sweetie." She replied warmly. That calmed me down. I nodded, and walked out. Hey, you would be acting like this too if you were around complete strangers, in a whole nother country! At this point, just about everything I do around these people scares me. I feel like they're going to think I'm weird. Why can't I be more like Andi?! She doesn't care what anybody thinks of her! Why can't I be a little more like that?! I'll just have to make myself. I stood in front of my dorm room door. I walked straight in, hoping nothing weird was going on. To my surprise (and luck!), it was normal. Andi was listening to music with headphones on, while reading a comic book, and The Panthers were giggling, and gossiping.
"Guys, supper's ready." I said, getting The Panthers attention, but not Andi's; she couldn't hear me. The Panthers did their signature walk out of the dorm room; which I have to admit, looks a lot more like a bedroom. I went up to Andi, and tapped her shoulder. She turned her head towards me, and took off her headphones.
"Yeah Em?" She asked.
"Come on, supper's ready!" I said, and tugged her off her bed.
"Sweet! I'm starving!" She said running, but I stopped her at the door.
"Wait!" She slowly turned around. "We're not aloud to eat until everyone's there. Now come on!" I said, stepping in front of her, and motioning for her to follow me. We walked down the stairs, and into the diningroom to see that all the girls were here. The only two standing were KT, and Amber; still setting the table. I began helping again. Fabian, and three boys, who I did not recognize, walked in. Fabian began to set the table, again, while everybody else sat down. By the time the table was completely set, everybody was here.
"Ok, now that the table is set, time for assigned seating." Trudy said. I'm confused. We need assigned seats for supper? Will they be the same as breakfast? I saw that my friends had the same look of confusion as I do. But when I looked at the Anubis residents faces, they looked as though this was normal. "Everybody stand." We all stood from our current seats.

Trudy pointed, as she assigned our seats. "Nina, Fabian, Patricia, Eddie, KT, Joy, Mick, Mac, Diego, Andi, Emma, Daniel, Tony, Maddie, Katie, Sophie, Willow, Mara, Jerome, Alfie, and Amber." She finished. It was a bit confusing, but we only had to remember our own seats. Mine was easy cause it was on the end. And I get to sit between Daniel, and Andi! Well, sorta. Andi's at an angle from me. "Ok, everybody sit, and I'll get supper." The house mother said. I sat down where Trudy had told me to.
"Um, does anybody know where–" Trudy began, but she was cut off by a girl coming in the front door. I recognized her from this morning; Nina, was it? "Nina! There you are! I was just about to ask where you were."
"Sorry Trudy, I just went out for a walk, and lost track of time. But I'm glad I made it back in time for supper." She smiled, and took a seat next to Fabian; I guess she assumed it was her seat, cause it was the only one left. Trudy gave her a nod, and brought out two huge bowls of spaghetti. A dark boy, with a kind of buzz cut, waring a shirt that said 'Aliens Are My Species', and sitting next to Amber immediately took a large portion from one of the bowls. Then everybody else got thier's.
"So, everybody, if I could have your attention please." Amber said, out of no where, and stood up. "I would like to introduce everybody to our newest housemates, and I would like to introduce them to everybody at Anubis House." Amber walked over next to Sophie. "Everybody, this is Sophie," She moved to Katie. "this is Katie," She moved to Maddie. "this is Maddie," She moved to Tony. "this is Tony," She moved to Daniel. "this is Daniel," she moved to me. "this is Emma," she moved to Andi. "this is Andi," She moved to Diego. "this is Diego," I swear I could have seen something in her eyes when she moved to Diego, but I couldn't figure out what. She then, finally, moved to Mac. "and this is Mac." She finished off with a smile. She then went on to introducing us to her fellow 'housemates', and introduced herself; even though everybody knew her.
I know Amber's popular, but she's so nice! Aren't popular people supposed to be rich, and snobby? Amber's like the opposite of the stereotypical popular girl. She's not rude, she's one of the nicest people I've ever met. She's doesn't think she's better then everyone else, she treats everybody the same, including herself. She's not snobby, she's friendly, outgoing, and bubbly. She's just different. Then again, it is England!
"Hey, who wants to play the question game?" A girl with curly brown hair said. I think her name was...Joy? "You know, to learn more about each other?"
"I'm ok with that" I said. I have to try and be friendly with these people; I want to make friends here.
"Who starts?" Amber asked.
"I will!" Nina said, excitedly. "Um, what's everybody's favorite color?" It's a general question, but a good start. "Mine's either red, or blue." Everybody went on, saying their favorite color.
Fabian: Blue, but mostly navy blue.
Patricia: Black, or purple.
Eddie: Red, black, or blue.
KT: Purple.
Joy: Only likes combinations of colors; favorite being black & white, or red & yellow.
Mick: Doesn't have a favorite color.
Mac: Green, orange, or light blue.
Diego: Navy blue, or fire red.
Andi: Green, or grey, but likes purple & green as a combination.
Emma: Loves all colors, but favorite being pink, purple, yellow, or ocean blue.
Daniel: Blue.
Tony: Green, blue, or orange.
Maddie: Loves all colors, but favorite being pink.
Katie: Loves all colors, but favorite being red, or lime green.
Sophie: Loves all colors, but favorite being yellow.
Willow: Can't pick, loves all of them too much.
Mara: Dark green, navy blue, or black.
Jerome: Doesn't care.
Alfie: Green.
Amber: Pink.
"Ok, who's next?" KT asked.
"I'll go." The Fabian guy said. "What's everybody's favorite subject? I couldn't pick."
Nina: Loves all classes, but favorite being mythology class.
Amber: Sewing & fashion.
Alfie: Cooking.
Jerome: Hates all classes, put loves to annoy Mr. Sweet (science/chemistry) the most.
Mara: Can't pick.
Willow: Loves all classes, but favorites being drama & acting class, and sewing & fashion (combined).
Sophie: Dancing.
Katie: Loves all classes (cause is secretly a straight A+ student).
Maddie: Sewing & fashion.
Tony: Loves all classes, but favorite being creative writing, or drama & acting.
Daniel: Loves all classes, but favorite being gym.
Emma: Everything, except science/chemistry.
Andi: Science/chemistry, and gym.
Diego: Everything, except math, but LOVES cooking.
Mac: Cooking.
Mick: Gym.
Joy: Likes everything in general, but doesn't have a favorite.
KT: Likes everything in general, but loves mythology class.
Eddie: Mythology class.
Patricia: Doesn't have a favorite.
"I'll go!" Andi yells. "What's everybody's favorite activity? Mine's is swimming, skateboarding, playing video games, preferably Zombie Apocalypse, or working on my car engine."
"Please don't tell me you brought it." I pleaded her.
"I had to! What else am I supposed to do during girl talk?" She asked. I rolled my eyes. We're becoming more like each other by the second.
"Well, I like to scrapbook." I said, leaving that conversation behind.
Daniel: Swim.
Tony: Do magic, and magic tricks.
Maddie: Shop, try on everything her closet, drink smoothies, get revenge on people, we all know the rest!
Katie: Writing, and shopping.
Sophie: Following Maddie, and Katie around.
Willow: Everything!
Mara: Studying, writing, and reading.
Jerome & Alfie (together): PRANKING AND VIDEO GAMES!
Amber: Shopping, hanging out with friends, talking/socializing, and giving makeovers.
Nina: Basically everything, just nothing too dangerous, or outrageous.
Fabian: Basically everything, just nothing too dangerous, or outrageous.
Patricia: Listen to music.
Eddie: Doesn't mind doing anything, just won't be the first to volunteer every time.
KT: Same as Eddie.
Joy: Socializing.
Mick: Sports, and eating.
Mac: Eating, not showering, and hanging out anywhere.
Diego: Working, hanging with friends, and cooking.
This game went on until dinner was over. I got to know a little more about my new roommates. Or as I heard Amber say, house mates. I've gotta get used to England.
I was gonna walk up to my room with Andi, but I got tapped on the shoulder by...Diego? I was expecting Daniel, or maybe even Amber.
"Yeah?" I asked Diego, when I turned, and faced him.
"Hey Em, can I talk to you for a sec? Alone?" He added, glancing at Andi. I looked back, and forth between the two, before answering.
"Sure." He thanked me, and we sat down on the rather hard looking sofa; but it was actually quite soft. "What do you need?"
"Well, the thing is, I've been having some troubles with controlling my powers, and I was wondering how you control yours." He said. Uh oh. This isn't gonna end well.
"I-I don't have m-my powers back." I stuttered. Damn it!
"Ok, now I know you have them back." He claimed.
"No! I don't! I just-it's just-I," Just admit it Emma! You can't get out of this one. I sighed. "fine, I have my powers back." I admitted.
"Yeah, it was pretty obvious to tell. You've been acting even stranger then you did lat year when you first found out you were a witch. And you just stuttered. A lot." He told me. I really need to get better at this whole lying game! "Anyway, I was just wondering how you've been able to control your powers."
Nina's POV
After supper, I realized that I can't go into the attic alone, cause I live in it; with three other girls. At least they're in Sibuna. I won't need to put that much effort into hiding. Maybe I should just tell them. No, you know what? I hate to say it, but Sarah can wait. When she feels the need to talk to me, she will talk to me. Right now, I have a job at leading Sibuna. And we need to find out who this 'Other Chosen One' is.
I sent a text through my text group I named Sibuna. It was just on some weird website Amber found one day, and we just decided to use it instead of texting. It was funner cause we all had nicknames/usernames.
Chosen One: Sibuna meeting in the attic. Now. It's urgent.
It was my turn to do chores. Trudy said she'd do them her self, so we could have a chance to meet the new kids, and so she could remake the chores schedule, so the new kids were on it too, but I still helped her. My phone buzzed.
Princess Millington: On my way. I was just talking to the new kids.
Amber was the first to respond, then Patricia, and Eddie's came up.
Goth Trixie: You interrupted my music! I'm already in our room.
Osiris's Son: I was just about to text you guys the same thing. Coming up.
Alfie's was next.
Alien Alfie: Yeah, we've got a lot to discus. I found another book, btw.
Another book? Another book about what? Was he just randomly finding books on the street? KT replied next.
Daughter of Egypt: Here already. Just doing homework. But Sibuna sounds much more interesting then history!
Fabian was the last to reply.
Stutter Rutter: I'll be up in a minuet. I just gotta grab some stuff from the study.
Believe it or not, Fabian did not pick his own username. Alfie stole his phone, and changed it from Fabes to Stutter Rutter. And Fabian hasn't been able to change it back cause he doesn't know how to, since he isn't the best with the internet.
