11. Chapter 11: When? Part 2

Hello guys. I'm backkkkk. I know I haven't updated in a while...well maybe more than a while...ok so I haven't added a chapter to this story in like five months. I'm soooo sorry about that. I've just been really busy with school reacently. But now I finally have more free time, and I'm updating again. And I decided to celebrate by not only posting the second half of the last chapter, but I also made this one very very extra long. Seriously, it took my like four hours just to write the ending. I'm not joking here. It really took me four hours to write the ending, but I did it for you. So please review and tell me what you think about it.

Ulrich(old) POV

He rushed towards Omega his large sword swinging diagonally at his chest. Omega dodged it, a black sword even larger than his appeared in his hands. Omega swung at Ulrich's chest. Ulrich's sword appeared to move of its own violation as it intercepted the blade stopping it before it hit it's mark. The clang of their swords was the only sound for some time, as they moved from one attack to the next. It became a cycle. Attack, Block, Attack, Block, over and over and over it repeated. Until Ulrich seemed to gain the upper hand.

Omega swung at his side, but the blade was stopped short by Ulrich's. Ulrich locked their swords together at the hilt, and then kicked Omega in the chest with superhuman strength sending him flying across the room. Omega's sword clanged onto the ground in front of Ulrich. Omega got to his feet, and seeing that his sword was out of reach flew into the air.

The ground cracked and split as hundreds of rocks were pulled up from the floor of the factory and began circling around Omega. Omega raised his arms towards Ulrich as the rocks flew at lightning speed towards Ulrich. Ulrich raised his sword in front of his body deflecting several rocks. However one did manage to graze his shoulder. He ignored the pain. Before Omega could attack again or move away Ulrich raised his hand up in front of his face as blue fire burst from his fingers. He threw the fire at Omega hitting him on the chest. Omega fell to the ground. Ulrich raised his sword above his head and then threw it across the room at Omega. But Omega saw it coming and raised a hand. The sword stopped in mid air before Omega sent it spinning back at him. Ulrich sidestepped it turning at the same time, and the sword blade brushed past his face so close it cut a shred of hair hanging in his face.

Ulrich turned back towards Omega pulling out two fans that had belonged to Yumi. Since she had died he had kept her gear in remembrance of her. Ulrich threw the fans in a wide arc at Omega. While Omega was distracted by the fans Ulrich rushed forward pulling out a foot long handle in his one hand. The handle extended on both sides into Yumi's seven foot long bo staff. Using his one free hand Ulrich pulled out the remaining two fans he had tossing them into the air. He spun the bo staff in a circle above his head, and as the fans fell back down they connected with the ends of the bo staff spreading out into a full circle acting like two circular saws.

As the two fans Ulrich had thrown shot towards Omega they stopped mid air where they flew back towards Ulrich. Ulrich flipped over them into the air, and as he spun he brought the staff above his head using the momentum of the spin to bring the staff down hard on Omega. Omega's black sword flew across the room into his hands where it intercepted the staff before the fan saws on the ends could hit him. But as the sword connected with the staff, the fan saws on the ends cut the sword in two. Ulrich then dropped to one knee spinning in a circle using the staff to swipe Omega's feet out from under him. Omega fell to the ground; the two pieces of his broken sword clattering to the ground next to him. Ulrich's hand shot out towards Omega. Four large pieces of metal came out of the ground circling around Omega's wrist's and ankles trapping him.

The bo staff shrunk back down into just a handle, and the fans dethatched from the ends where he quickly put the staff back on his belt. It all happened in the space of a second. Omega barely had time to blink. As soon as the restraints were on, Ulrich's hand reached out behind him palm open. Ulrich's sword rose up from the ground and shot across the room spinning where Ulrich caught it. Ulrich spun the sword in a circle on his right side, then his left, and then his right again. As he spun it for the third time his arm came up with his sword pointing down at Omega's heart.

"You're going to pay for what you did to her." he said. But before he could thrust the sword down a black ball of smoke came out of no where slamming into Ulrich throwing him across the floor. Breaking the restraints Omega staggered to his feet holding the stomach wound Ulrich(young) had given him. Omega took one look at Ulrich as he began to rise, and fly away through an opening in the ceiling. Ulrich looked up as Omega fled his hand flying up causing Omega to stop in the air, as if someone had grabbed him by his foot.

"You're not going anywhere." Ulrich yelled. But again the ball of smoke came out of nowhere. But before it hit him it turned into William with his giant curved sword. William landed next to Ulrich swinging his sword at his waist. Ulrich was forced to let go of Omega and brought his sword up to intercept Williams blade.

Ulrich watched in frustration as Omega fled through the hole in the ceiling, disappearing from sight. Ulrich and William leapt apart form each other landing ten feet apart. They circled each other slowly. Ulrich raised his sword in front of him. The sword then split right down the middle leaving him with two identical swords with a foot long handle, a scythe like blade that curved down in front of his knuckles, and a long, straight, slender blade that came to a razor sharp point. He took his classical dual wield stance.

William's outfit was comprised of a black armored skin tight suit. His shoulders were broader now, and his arms, legs, and chest rippled with muscles. His legs were covered in a black material. Around mid thigh were black strings that wrapped around his thighs. His feet were covered in plated black boots with spikes on either side. The top front of his boots were split in a downwards triangle. On the front of his foot was a metal spike. His ribs, waist, and chest were covered in more black plated armor. Around the middle of his ribs was a light purple line. At the point where his arms and chest connected were more strips of light purple. His shoulders and forearms were covered in black with two purple strips around his biceps. He was wearing black metal plated gauntlets with spikes going all around them. His knuckles were also covered in spikes. On his chest and back of his hands were three triangles each inside of the others. His hair was the same except for a goatee on his chin. His sword was the usual black tendril design on it, but instead of the Xana symbol on it there was another set of triangles. His sword was also more spiky then before.

They stood there facing each other for several seconds until William charged Ulrich. William swung his massive sword at Ulrich's head while Ulrich intercepted it with his crossed blades. Ulrich kicked William's feet out from under him, and putting his swords in a reverse grip he thrust them downward at William.

But William rolled out of the way and back onto his feet. Then he and Ulrich launched intoa long chain of attacks until they were blurs moving through out the room. William turned into a ball of smoke and flew behind Ulrich turning back into human form, and swung his sword at Ulrich. Ulrich ducked below it, the sword swinging just above his head. Ulrich then turned invisible. William looked around the room for any signs of him. There were none.

William took a step forward, and promptly was kicked in the chest where he went flying across the room. He stumbled to his feet looking around. William then raised his hand up, palm down. The floor began to shake, and as William moved his hand up into the air a massive dust cloud came up from the floor. The dust began to swirl around him in a tornado like fashion until William could make out a shape aprouching him in the dust cloud. It seemed to be moving very quickly. Just before it reached him he realized what it was and side stepped it.

One of Yumi's old fans flew passed his face, but while he was preoccupied with the fan he didn't notice Ulrich step out of the mist behind him. Ulrich hit the back of his knee's causing him to fall to the ground. And as William rose to his knees Ulrich stepped in front of him reconnecting the two halves of his sword. He raised the sword above his head. The blade turned transparent and glowed brightly. Ulrich swung the blade diagonally across William's chest the blade passing through him without actually touching or harming him.

William's armor and clothing slowly turned back to gray and white. His sword returned to it's original form. And the far away look in his eye returned to normal. William collapsed on his hands and knees.

He looked up at Ulrich. "Where...Where am I?" he asked. Ulrich offered him his hand.

"The factory." Ulrich told him. William took his hand standing up looking around.

"The last thing I remember is...Omega." William said. "He brainwashed me." Ulrich and William walked over to the others as the dust settled.

"We know. But you're free now." Ulrich said. All the others slowly stood up still in slight pain, and looked over at William.

"You freed him from Omega's control?" Aelita(old) said her eyes getting wide. Odd, Aelita, and Sissi's older selves greeted William welcoming him back. The younger versions just stood there looking at them. Yumi still hadn't moved from the spot she fell to the ground. Her head was currently resting on Ulrich's lap as she looked up into his face while he cradled her head looking down every so often to make sure she hadn't passed out. She was still weak from being strangled. Odd, Aelita, and William were currently trying to get Jeremy's attention while their older selves helped Yumi, and Ulrich(who still could barely move) back down into the supercomputer room.

Jeremy hadn't moved or said anything since he had found out he was in fact Omega. He just stared out in a random direction with pure terror in his eyes. Eventually they gave up and just carried him down to the computer room with the others.

No One's POV

They set Jeremy down on the floor next to the wall. He still hadn't moved or said anything. He just sat there with a scared look in his eyes. They turned to where their older selves were speaking to Yumi and Ulrich. Speaking quite loudly they saw.

"Why didn't you tell us Omega was Jeremy?" Ulrich yelled at the older versions of themselves an angry look in his eyes. "I mean didn't you think that maybe we should know that, or did you just forget that part?" Ulrich's older self spoke up.

"We didn't tell you because we knew you'd want to find some other way to stop Omega other than killing him." They all looked at Ulrich. "If we had told you who Omega really was would you have went out there and fought him like that? You wouldn't see him as an enemy; you'd see him as a friend. You'd try and talk to him, and you'd end up dead because of it." They all looked at the ground. All things considered, Ulrich was right. They would have tried to reason with Omega, and they would probably die because of it. But what else could they do? Jeremy was their friend and if they didn't at least try to help him then what kind of friends would they be? Ulrich's older self kept talking.

"I know you may think that you can help Jeremy, but you can't; because he's dead." They all looked up confused by his words. "The moment Jeremy took that syrum he turned into something dark, and twisted. His mind warp to the point of unrecignization. And although he is technically Jeremy, it doesn't change the fact that Omega is a different person entirerly." Ulrich told them.

Ulrich's older self let that sink in before he continued talking. "I know you want to help Jeremy, and so do we." he said waving at their older selves. "The only way to help Jeremy is to change the future using what you've seen here." They all looked up at him. "The syrum corrupted Jeremy and turned him into Omega, but if Jeremy can find a way to fight it based on what he see's here then all of this will never happen. That's the only way to help Jeremy." he finished.

They all looked over at where Jeremy was sitting huddled on the floor. Aelita turned to her older self.

"Is there any way we can snap him out of this?" she said pointing at Jeremy. Her older self shook her head.

"He's in shock. The only thing we can do is wait for him to recover." she told them. Ulrich turned to his older self a few meters away.

"How long do you think we have until Omega comes back?" he asked. His older self smiled.

"Normally I'd say a couple hours, but considering that wound you gave him I'd say we have until late tomarrow." His older self gave him a nod of aprouval. After that their older selves started doing whatever they normally did when they were waiting for Omega. Aelita's older self went and sat at the old computer chair, pulling out another radar, a hologram appearing as she did. Odd's older self went to scout around outside, and check the perimiter. Sissi started levatating in the air closing her eyes as she did. And Ulrich and William's older selves went down to where the scanners used to be to spar.

While their older selves were busy the others busied their selves with trying to snap Jeremy out of shock. When Jeremy remained unresponsive they gave up leaving Aelita to continue on her own.

Ulrich's POV(young)

He walked over to where Yumi was sitting against the wall on the other side of the room. Sitting down next to her he asked,

"You ok? Omega was choking you pretty hard. Almost thought he was going to kill you and me until older me showed up." he said looking over at her.

"Why am I always the one that gets strangled?" she asked looking at him. He gave her a questioning look. She explained. "I'm always being choked to death by Xana, or that clone he made of you, and now Omega. Why is it always me?" she asked him. He shrugged.

"I don't know Yumi. I think it's just bad luck." He was quiet for a moment before he looked at her with a half smile. "Try kicking them in the chest next time." She let out a small laugh.

"Maybe, but I think if they manage to start choking me I won't be strong enough to hurt them enough by the time I think of that." she told him. He pulled himself up from the ground offering her his hand, which she took. "Wanna go see what you're older self is doing with William down stairs?" she asked him.

"Lead the way." he told her. And with that they walked down to the scanners.

Odd's POV

Odd walked out of the elevator into the upper levels of the factory. Looking up he saw his older self at the top of the drop off that led to the bridge. Activating his climbing gear he ran and jumped up grabbing onto the wall. It took him less than a minute to climb up to the top, and he pulled himself up. He looked over to the bridge and saw his older self perched up on the side looking out over the water.

"What ya doing?" he asked. His older self turned to him before hopping down from teh ledge, and walking over.

"Nothing really. I scout around the area a lot searching for any of Omega's monsters that get to close to us. It gives me something to do." he told him. Odd looked at the rubble around them that was all that was left of the city.

"How could something like this happen? It doesn't seem real." he told his older self.

"And yet it is." said his older self. Odd looked over at him.

"So what exactly happened? To the city I mean." Odd asked. "How did it turn into this?" Odd's older self walked over to the edge of the bridge looking over the water to the city beyond, and his eyes had a far away look in them.

"It was just like any other day." he said. "Omega had appeared the week before and gone into hiding. At the time we had no idea it was Jeremy, but I guess it didn't matter then. As Odd's older self began describing the day the city was destroyed his mind turned back to that day as if it was yesterday.

Flashback

"Hey Aelita, any word on Jeremy yet?" Odd asked walking into the kitchen where everyone(except for Jeremy) was gathered. Aelita shook her head.

"No. I'm getting worried. I went by the lab the other day, and it was trashed as if someone had gotten angry and thrown everything around. I talked to his coworkers, and none of them have seen him for at least a week." she said.

"Well what happened a week ago?" Yumi asked.

"Omega attacked." Ulrich said. Aelita looked up at him.

"You don't think Omega attacked him do you?" she asked him. Ulrich shrugged.

"It would make sense. The first thing Omega did when he showed up was try and kill us. I wouldn't be surprised if he was after Jeremy too." Yumi said.

"Well if it is Ome-" Aelita started, but she was interupted by a loud bomb outside the house. They all rushed out the door looking towards the sound. There was a smoke cloud billowing out into the air a couple blocks down the road.

They ran in the direction of the smoke. It took them only a few minutes to reach it. In front of them was Omega. He was surrounded by at least a dozen police cars as they tried to box him in. Fifteen policemen got out and of the cars, and pulled out their guns pointing them at Omega.

"Freeze!" one yelled, "On the ground!" They rushed towards the men shouting.

"No! Stay back, you can't beat him!" Ulrich yelled. They had to stop them before Omega killed all the police officers. Omega's eyes glowed, and he raised his arms in the air. The police cars around him flew into the air before falling back down to crush the police officers. Ulrich's Lyoko abbilities kicked in as he used supersprint to dash forward moving the officers away from the falling cars before they were killed. "Stay back." he told them before supersprinting towards Omega, followed by the others.

Ulrich lept into the air his swords slicing in an arch towards Omegas head. A black sword appeared in Omegas hands, and Omega brought it up to block Ulrich's swords. They traded blows for a few seconds, Ulrich managed to give Omega a small cut on the shoulder.

Suddenly Omega bent backwards as Yumi's fans flew right above his face barely missing him. Ulrich shoved Omega backwards a few feet, and several of Odds laser arrows took him in the chest. William's smoke form flew in behind Omega, and turning back into human form he attacked Omega as Ulrich ran at Omega attacking as well. For a minute they seemed to gain the upper hand as they pushed Omega back, but then Omega's eyes flashed again and they were sent flying through the air.

Yumi's fans came out of nowhere again, and took Omega in the back. She rushed towards him catching her fans, and throwing them again. But Omega was ready this time, and he caught them before they could hit him. He sent them back at her and they smashed through Yumi's Lyoko form destroying it. Yumi stumbled back as her watch shut down because of kicked her several feet back where she fell to the ground. Odd flew through on the overboard, and fired several laser arrows at Omega.

He dodged them before throwing his sword at Odd knocking him off the board. He fell to the ground as well, next to Yumi. His overboard flew out of control slamming into William as he rushed at Omega. William flew back as his Lyoko form shattered leaving him on the ground in pain.

Sissi floated into the air sending green bolts of energy at Omega. They struck Omega in the back making him stumble. His eyes flashed again as he turned, catching one of her green balls of energy. It turned black before he threw it back at her. She floated to the side as it passed her. But she didn't see Omega leap into the air at her. Grabbing her ankle he draged her down swinging her through the air where she landed with a loud thud next to the others.

Ulrich came out of nowhere swinging his swords in an X at Omega's back. Quick as a flash Omega whipped around before Ulrich could land the blow.

"I think this fight has gone on long enough Ulrich. I have more important things to do then battle you people all day." said Omega before he snapped Ulrich's swords in half. An energy field hit Omega in the back. He turned to look at Aelita standing a few feet away, another energy field already in her hands.

"What have you done with Jeremy Omega?" she yelled at him. He stood there looking at her as if she asked him what color the moon was.

"What do you mean Jeremy?" he asked her.

"We know you did something to him. He disapeared the day you showed up and attacked us, now tell us where he is!" she shouted at him throwing her energy field to the ground in front of him. He stood there looking at her as his lips formed into a small smile.

"You really don't know do you?" he said to her his smile turning into a wolfish grin. He started chuckling for several seconds before it turned into a loud maniacle laugh that echoed around them. "You fools! You think I did something to Jeremy." he continued before stepping forward and shouting, "I AM JEREMY!"

"No your not!" Aelita said. "Jeremy would never do something like this." But there was doubt in her voice.

"Not in his right mind no. But lets just say Jeremy isn't exactly in his right mind anymore. I'm the new Jeremy and I'm better that he ever was!" Omega said as he turned, his fist slamming into Ulrich's chest sending him flying into Yumi who had managed to stumble to her feet. Omega grabbed Aelita by her neck and threw her next to the others. "Now if you don't mind I have something to do." he said crossing his hands in front of his chest.

"What are you planing Omega?" Aelita yelled at himk, but he just smiled evily at her. His eyes started to glow bright red and his arms began glowing red as well. Wind began to circle around them as the glow intensified.

"What's he doing?" Yumi yelled as her and Ulrich stood up stumbling as the wind picked up even more.

"I don't know!" Aelita yelled back. Then they all turned to Omega as his entire body started glowing red and a deep chuckle came from him.

"Run warriors, run." he said before throwing his arms out, the red glow turning into an entire ball of energy. They lost sight of Omega as the orb engulfed him in an explosion. Aelita raised her hands in front of them forming an ball of energy around them all. The explosion engulfed the energy field and their view around them was obscuered by the smoke and flames. After a few seconds it died down and Aelita droped the field. They stumbled to their feet in pain looking around them with wide eyes, full of horror.

"Oh my god." Ulrich said looking around.

"No." was all Aelita could say before she fell to her knees crying. And they all gazed around at the fire and ash around them that was once their home. "No." Aelita said again.

End Flashback

"Wow, Omega created an explosion that took out the city." Odd said half to himself. "How come it didn't take him out too?" His older self shrugged.

"We don't really know. He could have been unaffected by it since he created it, or he could have been too powerful for it to kill him. And that's a little scary to think about." Odd(old) said. They sat there for a few more minutes watching the sunset before Odd(old) said,

"We should get back inside. Omega likes to send patrols around at night and it's getting dark." Odd shrugged and together they walked back into the factory.

"Can I ask you something?" Odd(young) asked his older self.

"You just did." was his older self's only response. They laughed for a second before Odd(old) signaled for him to continue.

"I've been wondering." Odd said in a serious tone. His older self turned to him giving him his full attention. Several seconds passed before Odd spoke again.

"Where's Kiwi?" he said in a loud voice, the serious tone gone.

Aelita's POV

Aelita wasn't in a very good mood. She was sad. Very sad. They had been brought who knows how far into the future to fight something even stronger than Xana, something that will eventually kill Yumi, scar Ulrich for life because of it, destroy the city, kill hundreds of people, and on top of it all it turned out the person responsible for everything was her best friend Jeremy. She sighed, as she thought about Jeremy.

She still couldn't snap him out of his current state. No matter how she tried he wouldn't respond to her in any way. The others had quit a while ago, but she kept trying. But nothing would change. He still sat there unmoving, and she still couldn't find a positive side to the future that they were in. Sighing again she moved to sit beside him.

"Hey." Aelita jumped. She relaxed again when she saw it was her older self. "Mind if I sit?" she asked. Aelita patted the spot next to her. Her older self sat down leaning against the wall. "So." she started, "how are you holding up?" Aelita looked at the ground.

"What would you say if I said I didn't know?" Aelita asked her. Aelita(old) gave her a small smile.

"That you were being honest." she said. Aelita(young) sighed a leaned her head against the wall.

"It's just-" she started but didn't finish.

"Yes?" her older self prompted.

"It's just that all this is hard to understand. I mean I get that the syrum Jeremy took changed his mind and turned him into Omega, but it still doesn't help to understand how all this happened. I mean he destroyed the city, the factory, and kadic." Aelita said, tears starting to form in her eyes. "After Jeremy freed me from the computer this place was my home. I loved this place, and I loved living here. But now it's gone, and even if we stop Omega in this time period it'll all still happen up until this point. Yumi died." Her older self didn't speak, but let her get it out of her system.

"Yumi's our friend. She's like a sister to me, and she's going to die eventually because of Omega." Aelita looked over at her older self tears now flowing freely down her face. "You brought us here to stop Omega and change the future, but I'm not sure we can anymore." Aelita's older self moved over to her wrapping her in a hug. Aelita buried her face into her older self's side crying. They stayed like for some time before Aelita pulled back wiping the tears from her face. Her older self stood up, and held out her hand for Aelita to take.

"Come on," she said, "I wanna show you something." Aelita stood, taking the hand offered to her and began following her older self down a passage way.

Surprisingly Aelita(old) lead her down into the sewers. They walked down a few more paths until they came upon a door way built into the side of the tunnel. Aelita(old) opened it and revealed a staircase leading up to another door. Leading the way up her older self opened the door at the top and stepped through. Aelita walked up behind her and found herself in the Hermitage, her old home.

It was exactly the same as it was before they had traveled to the future. It looked as if the explosion hadn't touched it at all. Her older self spoke up.

"Looks the same as always doesn't it?" she asked.

"Yes. It looks as though the explosion never happened." Aelita said in response. Her older self nodded.

"That's what I thought when I saw it after the explosion. I was confused at first so I did some digging with the supercomputer, it hadn't been destroyed at the time so I was able to use it to find out that the explosion that took out the city didn't reach all the way out here. All the destruction out here happened after. The Hermitage was already destroyed so Omega didn't see a reason to waste time destroying it again. So he left it alone. Everyone thinks that's why Omega didn't destroy it, but secretly I think that deep down the real Jeremy is fighting for control and that that's why Omega didn't destroy it." Her older self finished. Aelita(old) turned to look at her.

"You can't give up hope Aelita. The fact that this place is still here proves that Jeremy is still fighting Omega deep down. It proves that we can change the past. That your Jeremy can still stay in control." Aelita smiled at that looking over at the Hermitage again before looking back at her older self.

"Thanks." she said with a smile. And with that they headed back down into the sewers.

William's POV

William leaned up against the wall where he had been standing for the past hour. He was still trying to process everything that had happened in the last day. They'd gone to the future, met their older selves, discovered that their city would one day be blown up, and their best friend would be the one to do it. All in all, this had been one screwed up day. And he'd also found out that he'd been possessed yet again, as if the first time hadn't been enough. He grimaced as his mind went back to his time as Xana's slave. It still troubled him these days.

"Something on your mind?" Sissi asked. William looked over to where she was floating a few feet away. She was looking at him with a question in her eyes.

"Sorry?" he asked. Sissi shrugged.

"You looked like you were thinking about something bad. Is something on your mind?" she asked again. He gave her a sad smile.

"Just thinking about when Xana had me under his control." he told her. She nodded in sympathy.

"They told me about that. I'm sorry I wasn't able to help with it." she said to him. He waved off her apalogy.

"Not your fault. You weren't even part of the gang yet. You were still..." he stopped before he finished. He was going to say she was still a pain in the butt, but he wasn't altogether sure that he should. Before he could say anything else though she let out a loud laugh as if reading his mind.

"It's ok William. I know what I was like back then. I was a pain, and probably the most annoying person you've ever met." she said to him with a smile. He nodded sheepishly.

"Well...I wouldn't say you were the most annoying person, but you're pretty close." he said. 'And pretty hot too' he thought. She smiled as if she'd heard him, and raised an eyebrow in question. He suddenly wondered if she could ready minds. Before he could ask she said with an amused tone,

"Yes William I can read minds." He blushed looking down. "I thought you liked Yumi?" she asked him. He nodded his head.

"I did, but she's with Ulrich now, and I really don't think I have a chance to get her back so I moved on." he told her still looking down.

"So..What? You like me now?" she asked him. He nodded slowly.

"I kinda do. I mean your still a little annoying in my time line, but I keep thinking that if you didn't bother us so much I'd really enjoy being around you." he said looking up at her again.

"So how come you never tell me?" He looked at her with a confused look. "After I join the group you never asked me out or anything. Never told me you liked me. What held you back?" she asked in mild curriousoty. He shrugged.

"I guess I was just nervous or something." he told her. She was silent for a minute before saying.

"Let me tell you something I never told you either. After I joined the group I had a crush on you as well. Like you I moved on from Ulrich. So here's my advice for you. When I join the group don't be afraid to ask me out." she said with a smile before she floated away. He watch as she flew away, admiring her. 'She really is hot.' he thought.

'I know your staring' she said inside his head. He quickly looked away and he heard her laugh in his mind.

Ulrich's(young) POV

Stepping out of the elevator Yumi and Ulrich walked into the scanner room and froze when they saw it. The three scanners were in ruins thrown around the room like scattered logs. The cables and cords that were always connected to them had been severed and were strewn all around them covering the floor like jungle vines. That was probably why they trained down here. The cables and scanners made the room difficult to move around without tripping. It created a landscape to fight in.

Their attention was quickly drawn to the clash of weapons as Ulrich and William's older selves spared with eachother. They watched for a few minutes until Ulrich felt Yumi touch his shoulder. She nodded her head to the other side of the room.

"Feel like sparring?" she asked him. It was her voice that threw him off. He saw a glint in her eye, on an air of mischieviousness about her. She was up to something.

Nodding slowly he slipped into a fighting stance. Like lightning Yumi's fans shot out towards him. He dove to the side the fans narrowly missing his head. Drawing his swords he rolled, dogging an attack before coming to his feet in front of her. And from there it was an all out war between them, as each of them fought to win. About halfway through the fight Ulrich(old) and William(old) left heading upstairs. They continued sparring.

After a very drawn out battle Ulrich was beginning to get distracted. He loved Yumi, and whenever he was alone with her for any long period of time he found he couldn't help but admire her beughty. Her black hair, tan skin, perfect smile. Speaking of, she was smiling now. Flashing her white teeth at him. He hesitaited, captivated by her. And suddenly he was pinned to the ground with her straddling his waist.

"I win." she said smiling. He faked a pout.

"No fair. You cheated." he said. She smirked.

"Not my fault you were stairing." she said.

"But you used that to cheat." he said.

"No. I exploited a weakness." she said. He pretended to look hurt.

"You think that's a weakness?" he said. She saw through the acting, and smiled putting a hand on his chest, and leaned down to him making him blush.

"It is when you fight against me." she said. He smirked raising an eyebrow.

"Just you?" he asked. She leaned down closer.

"Yes." she said. "Just me." She leaned down to kiss him, but he rolled over on top of her, pinning her down. He leaned down to whisper in her ear.

"That weakness goes both ways, Yumi." he said making her shiver from his breath on her ear. He let go of her arms, and went to get up, but she pulled him down locking their lips in a kiss. She wrapped her arms around his neck. He kissed her back both of them caught up in the moment.

Ulrich's(old) POV

After he and William(old) had left he walked over to the nearest chair, and sat down. He'd fought head on with Omega, sparred with William just now, that combined with the fact that he hadn't foughtf anyone in a long time had tired him out. He might have a superpowered syrum running thrugh, but even he had limits.

He looked over at the others. Aelita and her younger self had just walked in, and so did the two Odd's.

'Two Odds.' he thought. 'What a nightmare.' William was now talking with himself, and Sissi was meditating in the corner. Ulrich(young) and Yumi were sparring downstairs. Well, they were 'sparring'.

He looked over to where Jeremy was still recovering from shock. He wasn't there. Standing up, he walked over to where he had last seen him. Activating his visor he turned on one of the settings. The world around him turned dark as footprints appeared on the ground leading to a door. He closed his eyes, and sighed. The door led to the roof.

Jeremy's POV

Jeremy stood on teh edge of the roof, looking down to the dock water of the river below. He lifted one foot holding it in the air over the edge, and then put his foot back down. He picked it up again, and put it down.

He could end it all here. Stop everything from happening. Stop Omega. Stop this future. Yumi would be alive still.

Ulrich(old) stepped onto the edge beside him. He was so surprised he lost his balance, and nearly fell over the edge. Ulrich grabbed his arm steadying him. Then he just looked out over the edge.

"Nice view." he said. "It's better up here than down there." He looked at him with a meaningful look.

"Don't try and stop me." Jeremy said.

"I won't." he said. That surprised Jeremy. He was expecting at least an argument. "But are you really going to do this to Aelita?" Jeremy looked at him for the first time.

"What does she have to do with this?" he asked, "She chose Odd." Ulrich looked at him.

"Yes, she chose Odd." he started. "But that doesn't mean she doesn't care for you Jeremy." After a slight pause he continued. "Aelita lost her mother as a child. Her father died in front of her only for her to find out he's alive, and now she can't even look for him because she's to busy fighting Xana. Without you she won't find him." Jeremy looked at him. "If you die, her father dies. Again." Jeremy looked down at the water, as Ulrich continued talking. "Aelita has no family. Yes, Aelita loves Odd, but she loves you to. Your her brother. All of us are her new family." Jeremy looked at him.

"But I'm going to destroy the city one day. I'll destroy everything one day. I can stop it." he said turning back to the edge.

"Houses can be rebuilt. Forest's can be replanted." he said turning to Jeremy. "A life can't be given back." There was a pause. It stretched for several minutes. Then.

"How did I become Omega?" Jeremy asked. Ulrich looked at him.

"You made a mistake." he said. Jeremy looked at him confused. "When you finished the syrum, you made a mistake. It wasn't read. And it warped your mind into Omega."

"How come that didn't happen to you?" he asked.

"We tried to make an antidote from the syrum. Aelita thought that if wewere able to fix the syrum to inject you with it would reverse it's effects." he said.

"Fix the mistake." Jeremy said. Ulrich nodded.

"We had to test it first. I was the test subject." Ulrich said.

"And it didn't work on me?" Jeremy asked.

"It worked for about five seconds. And then you turned back into Omega again even stronger then before." Urlrich replied. Then Ulrich turned away from the edge. He looked at Jeremy one last time. "Don't give up hope Jeremy. If you die Aelita, all of us, will be scarred for life, her father will be trapped on Lyoko, and Xana might even win." And then Ulrich walked back to the door. It opened to reveal Aelita.

"Hey Ulrich have you seen Jere-" her eyes locked on Jeremy behind him. Her eyes widened, and she ran forward. He put a hand in front of her.

"Wait." he said. She looked at him.

"But he's going to-" she started.

"No, he isn't." he said before walking back down into the factory. Jeremy stood on the edge for a long time before he sighed and stepped away from it turning around. He stopped, seeing Aelita for the first time. She stepped towards him, and then she ran forward hugging him. She stepped back looking at him with an angry look. She hit his arm.

"Don't ever even think about doing that again." she said, looking at him sternly. He nodded, slightly scared now.

Then she hugged him again, and pulled him down the stairs. Slowly a grin appeared on his face. Ok, so maybe Aelita didn't love him romantically, but brotherly love was a close second.

Ulrich's(old) POV

Ulrich(old) walked over to a chair, and sat down. Aelita(young) walked over to him. He looked at her.

"Thank you." she said to him. He raised an eyebrow.

"For?" he asked. She motioned to where Jeremy was talking with Odd.

"Stopping him." she said. "Thank you." Ulrich shood his head.

"I didn't stop him, you did." he said matter of factly. He got up leaving a confused Aelita behind. Eventually she shrugged, and walked to the others.

Ulrich passed by Odd(old).

"I need to talk to you." Odd said as he passed him. Ulrich looked over to him. He was worried about something. This was serious. And with Odd, that always meant it was bad. After all, Odd was never serious.

Ulrich(young) POV

Ulrich was sitting against the wall, Yumi lying in his lap. She cuddled closer to him tucking her head under his chin.

"I wish we had more time for things like this." she said, sleepily. He nodded.

"So do I." he said stroking her hair. She yawned loudly. He chuckled. "If your that tired then just go to sleep." he told her. She shook her head, her eyes half closed. "Your exhausted from the almost nonstop fighting we've been doing. Just get a little sleep." She snuggled into his chest again.

"You do make a good pillow." she said. He chuckled.

"I'm a pillow now huh?" he said.

"Yes." she said simply. He chuckled again before saying,

"I love you Yumi." When she didn't respond he looked down at her. She was asleep. Smiling, he fell asleep himself seconds later.

Aelita's(young) POV

"And then she fell and spilled the bucket of ice water all over them." Odd said as they all laughed at the story. Aelita yawned. Odd looked at her. "Tired Princess?" he asked. She nodded.

"Yeah." she said. "The fight with Omega combined with our fight with Xana before has me running on empty." She yawned again. "I think I'm gonna go to sleep soon." After a few seconds Odd nodded.

"Yeah I'm probably going to as well." he said standing up. He kissed her on the cheek making her blush before walking away. Aelita talked with Jeremy for awhile before she stood up to find a place to sleep. She glanced over to where she'd seen her older self lay down erlier, and stopped when she saw herself and Odd(old) lying on the ground with their arms around each other, sleeping peacfully.

She wanted a future like that. One where there was no Omega, no Xana. Just them. Afuture where they could spend the day in each others arms as if nothing else existed. She glanced at Odd(young) lying on the ground, alone. 'Why wait?' she thought walking towards him.

Odd's POV

He couldn't sleep. He'd been running and fighting for hours. He was full of adrenaline. He couldn't just turn it off and go to sleep. He felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned to see Aelita leaning over him.

"Princess?" he asked. She did't say anything. She just layed down next to him, and pressed into his chest. "Princess?" he asked again getting nervous. She shushed him.

"Just, hold me." she pleaded. And so he wrapped his arms around her, and pulled her to him. He could feel her quiet breathing on his neck. Her smaller heart beat against his. She had her arms trapped between there bodies, her head tucked under his chin. He gently breathed in her scent. She was wearing some kind of perfume. He wasn't sure what kind, but it smelled like strawberries, and he like it. Closing his eyes he listened to the patern of her breathing. In. Out. In. Out. He continued to listen until they were both soundly asleep.

The Next Morning

Ulrich's(old) POV

They were all gathered around a table. There wasn't anything interesting about it. They were just using it as a gathering point for now. They had been arguing over their plan of action for the past hour, with little to no success.

Ulrich listened as yet another plan was discarded. He had his own plan, but he wasn't sure that the others would agree. It was very, very dangerous. He caught Odd's(old) eye. Odd nodded. Time to tell them. He snapped his fingers in the middle of the table to get their attention. Once he was certain he had it he started speaking.

"I have a plan in mind." he said. They nodded for him to continue. He took a deep breath and then continued. "I don't think we should wait for Omega to come for us. I think we should go to him." He waited for their response. Silence. Then Aelita(old) spoke.

"You can't be serious." she said confused. "The last time we did that we almost all died." He nodded.

"Yes. The last time we attacked Omega's base we did almost lose everything. But it doesn't matter now." He gestured to their younger selves. "We brought them here because we had no other option. It was a last ditch effort. It was our last chance. If we wait for Omega to attack us then he'll bring an army. Monsters, his human soldiers, everything. He won't bother dealing with us. He'll focus the attack on our younger selves because if he kills them then he kills us." Their yonger selves nodded. It made sense. Ulrich continued.

"If we attack Omega we'll catch him by surprise. We'll have at least that advantage. If we wait for him then he has all the advantages. We'll be trapped, outnumbered, outgunned, and we'll be on the defense. He'll wipe us out." Slowly they all started nodding. Then Odd(old) spoke up after giving Ulrich(old) a look, as if he was angry about something.

"I agree with Ulrich. This is our best chance." he said, surrprising Aelita(old). There was silence all around for several minutes. One by one they nodded, accepting the plan until it was unanamous.

Ulrich placed his radar on the table, and a hologram of a base appeared.

"This is Omega's base." he said to their younger selves. "It has two points of entry. The front doors, and the secret entrance that we discovered a while ago. I think that we should divide into two groups and-" Aelita interupted.

"Wait. Divide our numbers?" she said. "We were all together the last time we entered his base and we bearly survived. Now you want us to seperate?" Ulrich nodded.

"Yes we were in one group last time, but now our numbers are doubled. I think that you and the others attack from the front while Ulrich(young) and I enter through the secret entrance." Aelita nodded.

"An attack on two sides." she said. Ulrich(old) nodded. Again there was silence. Then.

"I think we should do it." Odd(old) said. Again they all ended up agreeing. And with that they began preparing for the attack.

Later that day

"Is everything ready?" Aelita(old) asked Ulrich(old). He nodded.

"Once you and the others leave for Omega's base, Ulrich(young) and I will enter through the secret entrance and attack." he said. Aelita nodded before walking off to tell the others.

Ulrich walked over to Yumi who was sitting with Ulrich(young).

"Hey Yumi." Ulrich(old) said. "I've got something for you." She stood up. He held out the staff he'd used against Omega the other day. "It was yours before you died. I thought you'd want it." Yumi took the staff smiling.

"Thank you. Is there anything I should know about it?" she asked him. She had no idea if they'd had any upgrades in the future. He reached out to a part of the staff close to the middle. He pressed a hidden button, and a spike shot out of each end of the staff. He pressed another button beside it and this time the spike shot out like a bullet ,embedding into the wall. "Nice." she said. She looked up as Aelita(old) called her other to go. She walked of to join the others.

Ulrich(old) looked over to his younger self. "Almost time to go." he told him. He nodded, getting up. Ulrich(old) turned to the exit as Aelita(old) lead the others out of the factory.

"Well start following them soon enough. The secret entrance to Omega's base is in an entirly diferent direction so that's why we're not going with them." he said to his young self. A pause.

"What's the real reason we're staying behind?" Ulrich(young) asked him. He turned to him.

"Pardon?" he said. Ulrich(young) gave him a pointed look.

"You may have the others fooled, but I'm you remember. You can't fool me." Ulrich(young) said. "Spill." Ulrich(old) sighed.

"Fine, come on." he said heading down into the factory. Ulrich(young) followed. Once they were back in the computer room Ulrich(old) turned to his younger self. "The real reason I had us stay behind is because we're going to kill Omega." His younger self raised an eyebrow.

"I thought that was what we were going to do anyway?" he said.

"Yes we were, but I mean just me and you. We're going to kill Omega." Ulrich(old) said. Ulrich's(young) eyes widened.

"But we can't do it without the others. We bearly servived the attack yesterday!" he said in alarm. Ulrich(old) nodded.

"And I nearly killed him yesterday." he said.

"Then what do you need me for?" Ulrich(young) asked.

"I can't beat him without you to help." Ulrich(old) said.

"But you nearly beat him yesterday." Ulrich(young) said.

"Yes, but that was after you stabbed him. He was weaker. Inside his base is a type of generator. It makes him more powerful. I can't do it without your help." Ulrich(old) said.

"And how am I going to help?" Ulrich(young) asked. "In case you forgot I'm just as strong as the others. I can't help you beat Omega on our own." Urlich(old) placed a needle on the table in front of them. Ulrich(young) looked at it with wide eyes.

"Is that?" he said. Ulrich(old) nodded.

"The syrum." Ulrich(old) said. "If you have it then you and me will be able to stop Omega."

"That's why you made us stay behind." Ulrich(young) said. "You knew the others wouldn't agree." His older self nodded.

"It's a risk. I know." Ulrich(old) said. "But we have to. It's the only way to stop Omega." After a few seconds of thinking Ulrich(young) nodded.

"Alright. Do it." he said holding out his arm for Ulrich(old) to take. Ulrich(old) took it and slowly inserted the syringe into his arm. He pulled it out. Ulrich(young) waited. Nothing happened. And then he felt a pain in his stomach. It grew and grew until it was almost unbearable. He hunched over in pain. Closing his eyes he let out a loud groan.

Aelita's(old) POV

They were outside the base now. They all were crouch down behind cover. There were several guards all over the entrance. They'd have to fight their way in, but that was what they expected.

"Ready?" Aelita(old) asked them. They nodded pulling out their weapons. With a shout they charged out from behind cover. They rushed towards the large entrance as the guards reacted with surprise raising their guns.

Suddenly dozens of guards rose up from behind cover surrounding them in seconds aiming their guns. Then Omega walked out of the base smiling.

"There aren't suposed to be this many guards at the entrance!" Odd(old) shouted in anger. Aelita's(old) shoulder's dropped.

"They new we were coming. It's a trap." she said. All the others looked around as the guards prepared to fire. Silence. A pause. And then a shout from all of them as they charged forward weapons at the ready.

Ulrich's(old) POV

They were walking out of the factory now. The pain had passed for Ulrich(young) by now. And he could feel the syrum's power running through him. Suddenly Ulrich(old) stopped.

"What is it?" Ulrich(young) asked. His older self looked at him.

"I just realized something." he said. "It's been a day since Omega attacked. He could have attacked by then, but he didn't." Ulrich(young) looked at him confused.

"But you said that the wound I gave him would keep him from attacking until late today." he said. His older self shook his head.

"That was before I remembered that his base would make him stronger. He'd recover faster than normal. He could have attacked this morning if he'd wanted to. Why didn't he? He would have wipped us out with another attack. He wouldn't pass up that chance." Ulrich(old) said. Then his eyes widened. "Unless." Ulrich(young) looked at him worried now.

"Unless what?" he asked. His older self looked at him with panic in his eyes.

"Unless it was a trap. Unless he wanted us to attack him." he said. Ulrich's(young) eyes widened with horror. As if they were the same person(which technically they were) they both turned and supersprinting at full speed in the direction of Omega's base.

Multiple POV

Aelita(old) and her younger self stood back to back hurtling energy fields at any of the guards that were stupid or slow enough to get hit. Three guards rushed Aelita(young) and she threw an energy field at one of them taking them out. Then she kicked the other in the groin causing him to fall over in pain. As the third guard closed in she grabbed his arm throwing him over her shoulder where her older self hit him with an energy field.

Aelita(old) rushed towards Omega throwing an energy field at him. He held up his hand catching it and throwing it back at her. She dodged it flipping through the air throwing another ball of energy at Omega. He dodged it, and his sword apeared in his hand. He swung it at her neck, but she rolled coming into close combat with him. She created an energy field in each hand using them to block or deflect Omega's sword cuts. She was really glad Ulrich(old) had trained her how to fight. She shot one of the energy field point blank at Omega's chest making him fall back. He recovered quickly though, and pushed Aelita back knocking her to the ground. He stepped onto her chest making it impossible to get up. She fought against him though, but he was to strong.

"It's been fun Aelita, it really has." he said raising his sword. "But your times up." And then he thrust his sword down into Aelita's(old) chest. Everything froze. The guards. The others. Aelita(young). Omega pulled the sword out of her chest, blood gushing from the massive wound. A trail of blood ran out of the side of her mouth. She made one final noise looking to Odd(old), and died.

"NO!" Odd(old) said firing at Omega. The guards swarmed him, and he screamed in rage firing laser arrows at anything that got between him and Omega. As the shock weared off they all screamed in rage to pushing forward fighting as hard as they could.

Odd was shooting his laser arrows at anything that moved. Odd(young) ran drop kicking a guard into three others. He then spun his arms coming up firing off laser arrows into a mass of guards, as his older self took out a group of guards with his claws. Odd(old) ducked as a guard threw a punch at him. He rammed his claws into the mans stomach before throwing a spin kick at the guard behind him.

Sissi created an energy bolt in her hands. As the green balls of energy appeared in her hands she hurtled them at two guards hitting them square in the chest. She created a wall of green energy with her hands to block a round of bullets from another guard. A guard wrapped his arms around her neck begining to choke her. Placing her hands on his head she shot an energy bolt at him making him fly back.

William(young) was fighting side by side with his older self. They were hacking and slashing at anything they could reach with their massive butch style blades. William(young) swung his sword and a guard. He lept back straight into his older selfs blade. William(young) held up his massive blade in front of his body as bullets slammed into it. William(old) rushed at the guards kicking their feet out from under them before taking them out with his sword.

Jeremy wasn't doing very well. He was still horrafied at what he had done to Aelita. He'd never really fought before either making it even more difficult. He'd always been the one behind the computer telling the others where to go and providing intel, but now he was in the fight. He created a blue ball of electricity in his hands throughing it at a group of guards. It hit them electrocuting them where they were. A guard nocked him down and pointed his gun at him. Omega's voice rang out.

"Guards. Do not kill Jeremy. If anyone harms him I'll personally kill you." he said. The guard lowered his gun quickly. Jeremy smiled electrocuting the guard. They couldn't kill him. They couldn't even hurt him. He stood up and ran towards Omega.

Yumi swung her staff knocking a guard to the ground. Spinning she pushed the button on the staff making a spike shoot out of the end of the staff where it stabbed a guard taking him out. She was enjoying the upgrade. The spikes were made of energy so she could shoot as many as she wanted to. She pulled out a fan throwing it at a guard. It knocked him down and flew back to her. She held her staff up, and the fan attached to the end of the staff openning all the wasy into a saw. She swung cutting a guards gun in half before kicking him down as well. She turned rushing at a large group of guards.

Jeremy stepped out of the mass of guards standing face to face with Omega. When Omega saw him he laughed.

"Oh please tell me your going to try and convince yourself to stop this madness and surrender." he said with a smile. "That would be hilarious."

"No. I'm not going to." he said. Omega looked at him in mild interest. "I just want to know why?"

"Why?" Omega repeated.

"Why did you do all of this?" he asked. Omega stared at him for several seconds before bursting into laughter.

"Because I got bored I guess. I don't really know. I just wanted power, so I took it." Omega said. "And there isn't anything you can do about it." Omega sneered at him. Jeremy's face turned to anger.

"We'll see about that." he said throwing an electric ball at Omega. Omega dodged it easily before knocking Jeremy across the ground. Omega's base was on top of a cliff. Jeremy skidded to the edge stopping just short of it. He stumbled back from it towards Omega. Omega raised a fist red energy appearing from his hand ready to strike Jerermy.

"What are you gonna do?" Jeremy asked. "Waste me? What'll happen to you?" Omega froze. He stared at him with hate in his eyes.

"You don't get it do you boy?" he said. Jeremy looked at him in confusion. "I'm still here. I still exist. Which means you still turn into me." he finished. Jeremy shook his head looking at the cliff again.

"I'll never turn into you Omega. Never." he said. Omega laughed.

"You see, but you refuse to listen. I'm still here. Which means you will eventually turn into me." Omega said smiling. Jeremy shook his head again.

"No. I won't." he said before stepping towards the cliff. Omega's eyes widened.

"Stop you fool!" he said rushing towards Jeremy. But Jeremy had already stepped over the edge, and was falling. He closed his eyes feeling the wind in his hair. He landed on something hard. He opened his eyes. He was on Odd's(young) overbourd and his purple cat friend was curently menuvering through the air dodging bullets.

"Why did you save me?" he asked increduously. Odd(young) looked back at him. "I destroyed the city. I killed Yumi. I...I killed Aelita." he said half to himself. Odd(young) looked at him.

"No. Omega did that. You can still change the past. We can still change the past. We can stop this from ever happening." Odd said. Jeremy looked at him.

"How can you even look at me?" he asked him.

"Because I know that you will never become Omega. You'll never risk Aelita's life, or Yumi's, or the hundreds of people in the city. You'll never let yourself become Omega." Odd said smiling. Jeremy smiled weakly back.

"Thanks Odd." he said. The guards were falling back now. Running away in fear as the enraged group continued to attack anything that moved. In only a few seconds it was just them standing face to face with Omega. Silence. No one moved. No one talked. They just stared at Omega with hatred. And then.

"Ahhhhhh!" they all screamed rushing towards Omega.

Odd(young) flew by on the overbourd firing arrows at Omega which he dodged. Aelita(young) threw energy fields over and over at Omega. He deflected and blocked them as well. William(young and old) came running in swinging their swords at Omega relentlesly. Omega's sword apeared in his hands, deflecting, blocking, or attacking. Sissi's energy bolt flew in striking him in the chest. He had been to busy with William(old and young) to see it coming. Aelita and Jeremy quickly made a plan. They waited for the William's and Yumi to get locked into combat with Omega, and then they started hurtling as many energy fields, energy bolts, and electricity as they could. Omega staggered back as the attacked landed in the center of his chest. They kept coming keeping Omega off balance from the force of the attacks. Then William(young and old) and Yumi came in attacking and slashing away at Omega. He was becoming increasingly unable to defend himself as they began overwhelming him.

Yumi pole vaulted with her staff, her feet coming into contact with Omega's face knocking him to the ground. Omega rose to one knee. The gang circled around him. They all rushed forward leaping into the air their weapons aimed at Omega. Omega raised his sword above him.

"Enough." he said as a shockwave burst from his blade knocking them all out of the air. They landed with a hard thud, dazing and confusing them. Omega stood up slowly. Then he laughed again.

"Really, how far did you think you would get before I killed you." he asked them smirking in victory. "Like I said to Aelita. It's been fun, but now the funs over." He raised his hand. A ball of black energy apearing in it. He pointed it at them. He smiled. "Goodbye." he said. The ball multiplied as dozens upon dozens of balls of energy shot towards them.

cue epic music and slowmotion scene :)

Ulrich(young) super sprinted into view his swords coming out. He rushed in front of them his swords swinging in arcs across his body as he deflected the balls of energy one by one. He was still using supersprint, so everything seemed to be in slowmotion to him. Eventually Omega stopped firing and stared at Ulrich in shock surprised he was even there. Ulrich(old) supersprinted in so fast that he was practicaly invisable. He apeared in the air in front of Omega horizontal to the ground. His leg came up and then down in an arm as he kicked Omega back. Then he supersprinted again disapearing before he even hit the ground. Ulrich(young) joined him in the fight moving just as fast his older self.

Omega looked around. Suddenly they were there on each side of them their attacks coming and going so fast that not even he could defend against them. And they continued to supersprint around him always changing position making it impossible to keep up with them. They moved so fast that the others started wondering if they were actually there, and not their imagination. Both Ulrich's suddenly kicked Omega in the chest so hard he flew back several meters. 'Wow' Ulrich thought 'This syrum is powerful stuff.' Omega staggered to his feet. He looked at them.

"Impresive." he said. "You did pretty well there. I almost felt it." His sword apeared back in his hands and he lept at them. They were tired now from supersprinting so much, which made it harder to fight. Ulrich(young) swung his swords at Omega. Omega swayed over to the side dodging, but was unable to see Ulrich's(old) attack coming in time. Ulrich's(old) sword plunged into Omega's stomach. Ulrich(old) had been using his sword split into the dual halves, so he still had one left. Omega hunched over in pain as the blade went through him. His eyes locked with Ulrich's(old). Anger flashed in them. Omega kicked Ulrich(old) sending him crashing into a wall making it crack. Even with the syrum it broke several of his bones. He fell with a moan of pain half unconsious. Ulrich(young) swung his sword at Omega, but Omega caught it with his plated hand throwing him at the others. Omega was still hunched over from the sword in his gut, but was still very alive, and angry. He staggered over to where Yumi was.

He turned to Ulrich(old).

"There are hundreds of ways I could hurt you Ulrich. Hundreds of ways for you to die. But there is one way I know will hurt you more than anything." He said turning to where Yumi was laying still dazed. Ulrich(old) tried to get up.

"No." he said in pain. Omega laughed.

"By killing the girl you love in front of you for a second time, and what's better is that your younger self can watch as well." Omega said picking Yumi up by the throat. "Now my dear girl, where were the last time we were fighting? I believe we were right about here." he said tightening his grip on her throat cutting off her oxygen. Yumi started struggling, but she was half dazed, weak, injured, and just plain tired. She couldn't get out of his grip or but up a fight.

Flashback

"Why am I always the one that gets strangled?" she asked looking at him. He gave her a questioning look. She explained. "I'm always being choked to death by Xana, or that clone he made of you, and now Omega. Why is it always me?" she asked him. He shrugged.

"I don't know Yumi. I think it's just bad luck." He was quiet for a moment before he looked at her with a half smile. "Try kicking them in the chest next time."

The words echoed in her ears.

"Try kicking them in the chest next time."

End Flashback

Her foot lashed out, kicking hard. Coincedintely her foot hit the sword still buried in Omega's stomach driving it deeper. Omega stumbled, dropping her, holding his stomach in pain. He fell to his knees. He grabbed at the sword in his stomach, but couldn't pull it out. He was too weak. Ulrich(young) looked over at his older self. He was too wounded to fight anymore. Omega would recover soon enough. He had to act now. Ulrich(young) pulled himself to his feet grabbing one of his swords in one hand. He walked over to Omega his eye catching Aelita's(old) dead body. He'd noticed it earlier. Omega had killed Aelita(old). Killed a girl that he considered a sister. And now Ulrich(young) was mad.

Omega fell down onto his back spitting up blood. Ulrich(young) stepped over him his feet on either side of Omega's body. He held his sword in a reverse grip holdind it in front of him.

"I normally don't like killing anyone. Friend or foe." he said. "But you killed Aelita(old). You killed Yumi(old). And you killed hundreds more when you destroyed the city. So goodbye Omega." Ulrich(young) raised the sword above his head yelling as he plunged it down into Omega's chest. Omega's eyes roled up into the back of his head. He spouted up blood, and died, his hands falling limp to his side.

Everyone seemed to release a breath that they didn't realize they were holding until now. Omega was dead. He was finally dead. Ulrich(old) had recovered enough to pull himself up onto his knees. He looked at Omega's dead body, and closed his eyes as if relaxing for the first time in years. Ulrich(young) stumbled over to Yumi, falling to his knees to cradle her head in his hands. His eyes asked the question for him. 'Are you ok?' She nodded, her hand coming up to rest on top of his.

Ulrich's(old) POV

Finally. Omega was dead. He was beaten. Yumi and now Aelita had been avenged. He breathed in a breath of fresh air as if it were the first breath of his life. He closed his eyes.

Flashback

"Thank you." she said to him. He raised an eyebrow.

"For?" he asked. She motioned to where Jeremy was talking with Odd.

"Stopping him." she said. "Thank you." Ulrich shood his head.

"I didn't stop him, you did." he said matter of factly. He got up leaving a confused Aelita behind. Eventually she shrugged, and walked to the others.

Ulrich passed by Odd(old).

"I need to talk to you." Odd said as he passed him. Ulrich looked over to him. He was worried about something. This was serious. And with Odd, that always meant it was bad. After all, Odd was never serious.

"What is it?" he asked.

"You remember my power to see the future sometimes?" Odd asked. Ulrich nodded. "I had a vision." Ulrich's eyes widened.

"You haven't had a vision in years. What was it." Ulrich asked. Odd's face changed to a look a sadness.

"We were fighting Omega. He gets injured so badly that your younger self is able to kill him. Then a guard wakes up from when one of us knocks him out. He gets up before anyone realizes he'd there. Your so tired and injured from the fight that he shoots you." Odd finished. "Urlich I think your going to die." Ulrich looked at him.

"Just because I get shot doesn't mean I'll die. Your visions are never clear." he said. Odd shook his head.

"I don't think we should go ahead with the plan you told me about. To attack Omega." Odd said. Ulrich shook his head.

"We have to. It's our only hope to beat him." Ulrich said. "Tell me Odd. Was your vision at Omega's base?" Odd didn't say anything. "Odd." Ulrich said.

"Fine." he said. "Yes it was at Omega's base. But Ulrich, we can't go there if your going to die." Ulrich shook his head again.

"Even IF your right about me dieing, I'd rather attack Omega and kill him dieing in the process rather than let Omega come and kill us. It's just a risk I have to take." Ulrich said to Odd. Odd seemed to struggle with himself for several seconds before,

"Fine. We'll go along with it." Odd said. "But you'd better stay alive." Ulrich nodded.

End Flashback

Ulrich(old) heard a gun click behind him. He turned in time for a guard to fire three bullets into his chest making him fall to the ground. Odd(old) yelled firing at the guard, while the others rushed to Ulrich(old). He coughed up blood. He could tell already that he wasn't going to live for much longer. He look at their younger selves.

"You have to get back to your own time." he said struggling to breath. Blood leaking from his mouth.

"How?" Yumi asked. Ulrich(old) pointed at his younger self.

"I'm to weak to do it, and Aelita was the only other one of us with the syrum. It has to be you." he said to Ulrich(young). "I gave you the syrum. You can take them back." They all looked at Ulrich(young) expectantly. He shook his head.

"I can't. I haven't even used the other powers yet let alone time travel. The only powers I've been able to use so far was my extra speed and strength." he said. His older self shook his head.

"You can do it. I know you can. Your me, remember." Ulrich(old) said. After a few seconds Ulrich(young) nodded slowly.

"I'll try." he said. His older self nodded. Before coughing up more blood.

"Ulrich I don't have much time. I have to tell you something." he said. His younger self looked at him questioningly. "Ulrich your world is about to change more than you could posibly imagine. Things will be revealed, and secrets uncovered. You'll be faced with a lot of problems, but as long as you keep fighting. As long as you follow what is most important to you you'll come out on top. Remember that." His older self said coughing. Ulrich(young) nodded. Needless to say he was very confused now, but he held out his hands for the others to take.

"Time to see if I really can take us back." he said. They all grabbed onto his hands, and he closed his eyes. They waited. And waited. Nothing happened. Ulrich tried and tried, but nothing worked. His older self cut in.

"Don't try Ulrich. Feel." he said. Ulrich stopped trying. He just stood there thinking. His older self said to feel. He consentrated on his strongest feelings. He felt Yumi squeese his hand in reassurance. Yumi entered his thoughts. His feelings for her taking up every part of his mind. He thought about how they had been trapped in Xana's room with monsters battering down the door. Yumi was wrapped in his arms, and they were waiting for it to end. He willed them to be brought back to that moment in time.

A white light began forming in his hands. It grew in size and intensity until they couldn't see anything around them. When it faded they were gone, and Ulrich(old) and their other older selves were alone.

Ulrich(old) layed his head back wondering if they managed to change the future. A white light began to form at the edge of the horizen getting bigger and closer by the second. He smiled closing his eyes. They did it. He took one final breath and died as the light engulfed him.

Ulrich's POV

The light faded, and he looked around to find that they were standing in the lobby of Xana's skyscrapper surrounded by unconsious construction worders. They were back. They jumped into the air cheering.

Later

Ulrich sighed as he collapsed onto his bed. Odd was already alseep in his on the other side of the room. He was exhausted metally and phisically. Their was a knock at his door. He looked at the clock. It was two a.m. Who could be knocking at this time of night? He struggled to his feet, and walked to the door opening it. He was shocked to see his parents standing their.

"Son." his dad said. "We need to talk to you. It's important. We bought a house in town, and we've told the principle that you'll be staying their for the next few days. Come on." his dad motioned for him to follow. His eyes furrowed in confusion. His older selfs warning echoed in his head.

'Ulrich your world is about to change more than you could posibly imagine.' Still confused Ulrich wrote a short note for Odd and followed his parents out the door.
