Chapter Eleven: The Past
some things are only solved from the root, the foundation.

Two days ago...

There Selene and Minerva were crashing into the attic at the Manor. It appeared that they were at home but they knew they weren't really at "home".

"Shit" Minerva said. "Selene what the hell did you get us into this time?" Minerva added, dusting off her pants as she rose from the ground. She was in no mood for Selene's adventures.

"No idea" Selene said as they heard footsteps rushing upstairs.

Greeted by an angry Piper "who the hell are you?"

"Umm well I'm Selene" Selene announced nervously "and this is Minerva" Selene added waving over beside her.

"And why shouldn't I blow you up?"

"The future depends on it." Minerva responded.

"Not this crap again." Piper said and Minerva laughed. "This is funny to you?" Piper questioned. There Phoebe and Paige came rushing in the attic.

"Piper you okay?" Both her sisters asked.

"Who are they?" Paige asked.

"Visitors from the future." Piper answered.

"Friend or Foe?" Phoebe asked, with a raised eyebrow.

"Friend!" both Selene and Minerva yelled out.

"Yeah how do we know?" Paige asked.

"Book of shadows." Selene called out and the book disappeared in white lights and reappeared in Selene's hands.

"Show off." Minerva added and rolling her eyes.

"So you two want to explain yourselves?" Phoebe asked.

Both girls looked at each other and back at the Charmed Ones.

"We're going to need cookies" Minerva responded and Selene nodded in agreement. The group voyaged down to the living room.

Selene and Minerva sat there for about thirty minutes chewing cookies before Piper cleared her throat and folded her hands. "we're waiting."

"So see we were in the attic. Not this attic, the attic in our future. You know we were witching it up and here we are." Selene said looking over to Minerva.

"Yeah just a spell gone wrong and we need you gals to send us home like now." Minerva added biting into her cookie.

"So your Halliwells?" Paige questioned.

"Yes," Both answered.

"What's with the costumes?" Phoebe asked.

"Costumes?" Excuse me, these are not costumes. We have divine powers." Minerva shot back.

"Divine powers..." Piper trailed off.

"Yep, divine powers. At a young age we gained these powers from an elder Halliwell." Selene explained.

"Elder Halliwell. Is that what they say in the future?" Paige asked.

"Umm yeah. So this Elder Halliwell..."Selene continued the story and Minerva grabbed her hand, shaking her head. The Charmed Ones exchanged glances.

"Selene no! We have to get back home now." Minerva said.

"I am trying." Selene shot back.

Minerva jumped up and started pacing back and forth. "This is your fault.!" she yelled.

"My fault. I am trying to help this family. Seems like I am the only one trying to help. If we don't find Wyatt and fix this problem. We are all dead!" Selene said.

The Charmed Ones watch as the two went back and forth.

"Selene we are not even suppose to be here. I am here with you on another wild adventure helping you save OUR family." Minerva said.

"You two stop now!" Piper said and the two pipe down.

"Why are you guys trying to find Wyatt?" Phoebe asked.

Minerva sighed and sat back down" Wyatt is missing he has been for the last ten years. The last ten years of our lives has been a lie. How we got our divine powers? This family Rivalry..."

"Rivalry?"Paige asked.

"you know Good vs Evil." Minerva said. "the whole sha-bang! Well in our world. Its Good Halliwell vs Evil Halliwell vs most powerful Halliwell." Minerva explained waving her hand nonchalantly.

"hmmm." Piper said.

"Wyatt is the only one that can help restore our family again. At least a significant part of it." Selene explained.

"And if we don't, we are toast to the Great Z." Minerva added.

"The Great Z?" Phoebe asked.

"Yeah the most powerful Halliwell of all. At least as powerful as Wyatt because he vanquished her." Selene explained.

"Vanquished, Wyatt would never harm his own family." Piper shot back.

"How do you know?" Minerva asked, exchanging glances at Selene.

"Because he's my son. I would know. After all we've been through with Chris and saving him." Piper explained.

"Yeah well history tells us Wyatt vanquished the Great Z to save us. In causing a ripple in our family. Then he disappeared and never practiced magic again. No one knows where he is. Not even Chris. " Selene replied.

"I don't believe it." Phoebe said.

"mommy, mommy, mommy" a young girl said running into the living room and hugging Piper. Interrupting the topic at hand. The young girl had long blonde hair and an grey patch on her right side. One eye was blue and the other eye was brown turning violet.

Selene and Minerva looked at each other and grabbed each other hands, standing up. "We should properly get back to the attic and figure out how to get home" Minerva said and Selene nodded in agreement.

"Hey, I'm Melinda" the young girl announced with her back snuggled into her mothers body. Selene and Minerva bowed. The Charmed Ones caught the exchange.

"Nice to meet you Melinda. I'm Selene and this is Minerva." Selene said back.

"Sweetie go play with your siblings for me." Piper said kissing her daughter on her forehead and Melinda ran off not before stopping and glancing at the girls.

"Til we meet again." Melinda said and running off.

"Was that her Selene?" Minerva asked, looking over.

"Yes, Minerva that was her." Selene answered and nodding her head.

"Was who?" Piper asked.

"No one. We should get back home. " Selene said. "We really should. We shouldn't be here. We have so much to do in a short period of time." she added.

"Now, wait. You can't barge in here from the future and tell us our family is divided." Piper said.

"Piper's right, the spell brought you here for a reason." Phoebe said.

"You need our help and we're going to help save our family." Paige added.

"So what are you saying?" Selene questioned.

"We're coming to the future with you." Piper answered.

"No!" both answered.

"No?" Phoebe questioned.

"Why not?" Paige added.

"Because one: we are not even suppose to be here." Selene explained.

"two: our family will fucking freak!" Minerva added. "No, no, no, no. I'm not getting yelled at because of this."

"Watch your language young lady," Piper said.

"Sorry but you don't understand. Chris is going to freak!" Minerva replied.

"Chris. My son. Let me deal with that." Piper shot back snappily.

'Fine," both women said in union.

The Charmed Ones gathered their things in order with their families before they embarked on this journey. All five women traveled upstairs and prepared themselves. Selene and Minerva exchanged one last glance before they said the spell and a portal appeared.
