(Sheep's P.O.V)
We all rushed to the window sill. It just had happened so quickly. My friend who had been with me for 9 years, suddenly gone. I couldn't bear to watch, so I stormed over to the elevator and punched the button for the lobby. Sky, Deadlox, Jacob, Peter, CJ, Jerome, Bajan, Husky, Seto, Ssundee, and Noah followed. Once we reached the lobby level we raced out onto the street where a big crowd was gawking. We managed to shove our way to the center to find... nothing except a few crow feathers. CJ pointed at the crowd and turned to us.
"I don't know if you guys noticed, but the crowd is looking up, as if something's still up there." Sky got a curious look on his face and walked over to a random girl.
"Excuse me, but can you tell me what's going on?" Sky asked. The girl replied rapidly.
"Yeah, something fell from that building and just before it landed it just was gone- and omigosh! You're Skydoesminecraft! I'm such a big fan! I've always thought you were cute, can I have your Skype?"
Sky looked flabbergasted. He regained his thoughts.
"Thanks-and NO."
He pulled us outside of the crowd.
"That means, if that falling thing called Via vanished," He said hopefully. "That leaves the chance that Via is still alive."

(Jacob's P.O.V)
We split up and each searched a different part of the city. If we had stuck together we'd have used up our week and we'd all be dead. Jerome, Bajan, and I had been assigned to the bay side beaches. We started down the beach from where a ton of ferries were located and went down the beach. We had reached the end where there was only a boat rental place.
"It looks like there's some sort of building down the beach, maybe we should search there too," pointed out Jerome.
"Hey," said Bajan. "She's my sister, I'd search the entire planet to find her."
I agreed and nodded my head.
"Trouble is getting there," I pointed out. The beach wasn't at all connected to the city. Then a flicker of movement in the bushes behind the beach. "Wait, I think I see a route behind the beach we can take."
Bajan pointed to the rental place which had a man at the desk.
"Or we could just ask," he said as he headed towards the desk. "Um, would you happen to know the way to that beach over there?" The man looked up from the computer and pointed behind him.
"Yeah, just follow the road behind the place and keep on going until you get to another road the cuts off the bike path."
"Thank you!" Bajan said as he nodded at us as we ran to the road.
*Time skip*
We had finally reached the beach at around sunset. We noticed that there was a locked gate on it.
"Beach closed for season. See you in the summer." I read. "Well, who cares?" I said as I started to climb over the fence. Jerome and Bajan looked at each-other, smiled, then followed. We walked on the beach. Bajan pointed at some skid marks.
"Skid marks, but no footprints. Too big to be a bird, but too small to be a toy aircraft of any sort. Looks as if it was headed northward," he noted.
"Thank you track master," said Jerome as he rolled his eyes. I took a second look at the skid marks. I saw something that was in front of the hotel after Via fell. Black feathers. I told the guys about it. Jerome reached towards the side of his belt and grabbed a walkie-talkie that Deadlox had borrowed earlier and hooked up to his headset's communication system. He had managed to get one for each group. Jerome spoke into it.
"Handsome Bacca, to the Left Foot- do you come in Left Foot," he said into the walkie talkie with a snicker. Deadlox's voice blared back.
"Jerome! I told you not to call me that! Anyways, what's happening?"
"We found some skid marks, they have some crow feathers in them, like the hotel fall scene."
"Interesting, that might mean Via is close."
I looked Bajan all of a sudden took off towards a nearby hill with a cliff on it. He was pointing and screaming like had suddenly gone insane. Then I saw a figure in hoodie on the hill. A blue and white checkered hoodie. I pointed the figure out to Jerome.
"Strike that," he spoke into the device. "I think we found her."

We finally had managed to scale the cliff once the others came. Sheep, Peter, Bajan, and I practically crushed her in a hug. Then we all asked the same question,
"What the Nether happened?!"
Via looked quietly at the ground and spoke softly.
"A laboratory."
"The accident in the lab?" asked Sheep. "As in the one where you were almost murdered in?"
"Yeah," she replied grimly. "Also, I lied to you about the story,"
"So… it didn't happen?" He asked with a confused expression.
"Oh, it happened alright, I just changed up the story."
"So, what really happened?"
Then Via did the mod downright unexpected thing of all time. She looked around to see if nobody else was watching. Then she stood up, shifted her shoulder muscles, and a few black feathers fell to the ground. Towering over Via's head were a huge set of wings- black as night and with silver specks like the stars.
"Avian DNA," she simply said. "And that isn't even part 1."
All of a sudden a few magenta sparks flew off of Via and she was gone. It felt as if someone was breathing down my neck. I whirled around to see Via half smirking.
"Those needles weren't filled with just some harmless stuff, were they?" questioned Sky. "They had DNA in them."
"Avian and Ender DNA, to be exact." said Via.
"So, you're ender?" Asked Peter. "Not a good combination at all with Nether."
"Hey, just 'cause I'm Ender, your Nether, and who knows, for all we know we might also have an Aetherian, doesn't mean we're not friends!" Via said with a smirk.
"Well," said Bajan, still staring at his sister's wings. "I think we've all had enough craziness for the day, let's go back to the hotel."
