Well, it's been forever. This is going to be interesting.

Notes: Mind you I don't actually know how old the cadets were individually, and since Vince is already gone I won't specify his age. 18 +16 is 34 I believe. So Larmina and Daniel are 34.

If I got it wrong, I apologize.

No. No. NO!

This wasn't supposed to happen! Not yet!

Maybe her aunt wouldn't mind. Maybe a meteor would hit before she had to explain herself.

God, she was in her thirties! Her aunt had stopped having control over every little thing she did a long time ago. Why was she still panicking about this?

It didn't stop her from pacing around the room frantically. She hadn't even thought what she was doing. She hadn't seen him in so long though, and their feelings had only grown for one another as those long years passed without each other. And then one thing had led to another... and panic had set in.

She had made the mistake of ignoring it for two months before symptoms showed up at her door. She was sure someone had noticed her absences at meals.

It was a huge mess she had caused.

A knock at her door startled her out of her thoughts. "Come in."

"Larmina, mom's wondering where you are. She said something about training in an hour."

"You're having a hard time finding her, idiot."

It was her cousins, Kam and Alex, most likely the future King and Princess of Arus, not to mention Blue and Black pilots of Voltron. Kam had grown into a beautiful woman, from Larmina only knowing her as the fussiest baby ever. Her hair had been left short, but it still framed her face in curls, a small tiara under her hair. Her blonde twin's hair was longer than she had remembered it, but they shared the same hairstyle. His eyes were blue, his father's, and her's were an emerald green.

They both scared her during training, as she was assuming they had no practice before, easily surpassing all three of their teammates. It always got interesting when they dueled each other, you could never tell who would win.

"Oh, don't worry. I'll be there." She said cheerfully. Her brother walked off, satisfied.

"Larmina, are you okay?"

Dang it. Ever the detective, thy name is Kam Kogane.

"I'm fine, why do you ask?"

"You're more mussed than usual. You haven't attended dinner with the rest of us as of late, and you have to keep leaving training unexpectedley." Her eyes narrowed in thought. "I can keep a secret, unlike my brother."

She hesitated. Something this big, a possibly haggarium-infected child due in seven months? Larmina wasn't sure how her cousin would react. That may have been the one time that her trustworthy cousin would break that promise.

"So you are hiding something! I can see it in your eyes."

"No you can't."

"Fine, you got me there. Just a tactic to get Zoe to give me my stuff back. But you sound worried."

Silence.

"Okay fine! Come here"

"So what's the plan?"

"I don't know! You were the one who came up with it!"

"Yeah, but he's your brother! Where would he be this time of day?"

"Like I should know! He might be with my mom though, he's always been our peacemaker. He said something about being a diplomat yesterday though."

Zoe and Kam were wandering around the castle, stalking her brother and Tonks. Like Zoe and Johnny, they were smitten for each other, unlike the former, they were actually good friends. They didn't usually poke fun at each other, and usually it was in good fun if they did.

It might just work if they could find her almost-legally blind brother.

"Shoot. So what now, we wait until lunch?"

"I guess?" she shrugged. She ran a hand through her boyish haircut.

"Hey, do you think Tonks has a real name?"

"What do you mean, isn't that her real name?"

"I don't think so. Who would name their kid after a train?"

"Fine, what does she look like to you?"

"A Christina? A Kim? Luca? Emily? Anything but a Tonks."

"Whatever you say Mrs. Johnathan McClain." she said. Zoe rolled her eyes.

"What about you, Mrs. Dante Holt?" Kam colored.

"No! How could you think something like that?!" she shrilled. Zoe smiled in triumph. Dante was the one playing card you could use to embarass the great Kam Kogane.

"Because. I can and you can't stop me!" she said, crossing her arms.

And that's when her master plan happened.

Not Kam's of course. And probably not Zoe's. But Zoe probably talked to fate to get it to happen.

Kam ran into someone as soon as she turned the corner. Yelping, she fumbled for anything to give her a grip.

When she opened her eyes, she found herself staring into the brown eyes of none other than Dante Gunderson. She blushed madly, finding he only had a handhold on a niche in the wall, as they both tipped precariously.

"Oh my God, Dante, I'm sorry! I wasn't watching where I was going I'm so clumsy sometimes!" she sputtered, immediatly leaping off of him. If she were looking in a mirror, she would've known her face was a tomato.

"Naw. I like running into pretty girls." He said, smiling. Kam squeaked almost. He thought she was beautiful?

"Okay. Can we stop with the cringey flirting Mr. and Mrs. Gunderson?" Zoe rolled her eyes. "Kam, if we're going to catch your brother, we'd better hurry, it's almost one."

"Uh...oh! Yeah!" she said, blinking out of her daze. "I'm coming."

"Hey, what are you guys doing? I got lost looking for your brother Kam."

"Oh, Kam and I are doing operation P.A.K.A.T.C.T." Zoe answered simply.

"It means put Alex Kogane and Tonks Church together." she said, wringing her hands. She had never been this nervous around a boy. Especially one she had just met a week ago!

"Can I join you? That sounds like way more fun than a tour."

"Yeah! Of course!" she said, bursting out with excitement. Zoe only continued ahead.

"Cool! Sounds like fun!" He said, jogging after her. He smiled at her, and she colored further.

It's been forever since I've updated this book! I know, Kam's like for Dante is a little rushed, I apologize. Even though I've made her to be this amazing Kim Possible kind of girl, romance is not Kam's strong suit, as explained next chapter.
