So yeah this is a pretty quick update for me I just really wanted to get to the time skip already and get this story moving. Now I heard some news recently that I found both disturbing and ignorant and I wanted to share it with those that are not in the know. It turns out that some of you NaruSaku fans take things WAY too seriously; there is a petition online to ban the Naruto manga in the U.S. until Kishimoto creates an alternate ending in which Naruto ends up with Sakura. Now I know a lot of you love your ships and I respect it because I've got my fair share of ships as well however, that doesn't excuse the level of ignorance this type of petition entails. Despite the mixed feelings amongst the community about the manga's ending we need to remember that Kishimoto worked his ass off for 15 years to give us good material full of great fights, interesting characters and their growth, and bad ass powers. So this means you only cared about who Naruto would end up banging later on in life rather than the entirety of the series? That shows an immeasurable amount of disrespect towards the man and his great work and it embarrasses me as a fan that such a thing exists. This is why we as a fan-base have such a bad rap amongst anime enthusiasts when we have such immature people complaining about a concept that is secondary in the grand scheme of things. Now I know not all NaruSaku fans or any other shippers really are that petty, it's just that few who like to ruin the fun for others. Now enough of my ranting, let's begin.

Chapter 11:

"HAAH!"

"GOKU! BE MORE CAREFUL!"

The recently deceased Saiyan complained about the ringing in his ears and pouted much to King Kai's annoyance.

It's been a month since the Cell Games and Goku was getting well accustomed to being in the Other World. After seeing his son achieve a new level of the Super Saiyan transformation, the former protector of Earth had been working tirelessly to reach the same plateau his oldest now stood on. Unfortunately, this meant that King Kai's small planet suffered damages…

..A lot.

The planet was littered with several craters and deep gouges thanks to Goku's constant power ups resulting in concussive shockwaves that damaged the planet little by little. At first, King Kai didn't have any cause for concern but he had never had a full-powered Super Saiyan training on his small world before so as you can imagine…

"YOU FOOL! WHAT PART OF CAREFUL DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND!?"

….things didn't turn out so well.

"Geez, sorry King Kai I just wanted to see how far I've gotten in my training. Seeing Gohan as a Super Saiyan 2 was so inspiring; I can't wait to reach that level." Goku said with no small amount of enthusiasm.

"Super Saiyan 2?" King Kai questioned

"Well yeah, I figured it be easier than saying Ascended Saiyan."

"Whatever you say."

Although the Kai was speaking casually inwardly he was worried; his planet was taking quite the beating from Goku's powerful ki and he was starting to worry about it's integrity. Not for normal reasons as the planet could easily be restored with a technique or two but for a much darker reason…something he didn't feel the need to share with his student unless absolutely necessary.

And at this rate, that time was fast approaching.

"HAAAH!"

King Kai was snapped out of his thoughts from Goku once again attempting to ascend.

"GOKU! WH-" King Kai froze suddenly, catching Goku's attention.

"King Kai, are you ok?" He asked inquisitively

"Goku, we need to fix this damage immediately!" King Kai said in a panic, beginning to gather ki in order to fix the damage to his planet.

Goku was about to ask why when he felt a slight tremor.

"Uh that wasn't me."

Then another…and another…and one more for good measure.

Goku's eyes narrowed dangerously, his senses going haywire with various signatures.

"What's going on, what is that power!?" Goku questioned, looking around the shaking planet.

The planet began to glow a bright green, getting progressively brighter by the second and light began showing through the gouges on the planet.

"Oh no!" Goku cried as realization struck him. He quickly grabbed King Kai and with impressive speed, grabbed his master's animal companions. One Instant Transmission later and they were off the planet…

Just as it blew up in a bright display of light.

The former protector of Earth appeared just outside the Check-In Station with a grim expression on his face.

"King Kai, what just happened?" He asked seriously never taking his eyes off the explosion even as it began to disburse and the ki signatures vanished instantly as if they were never there.

"Goku, I won't lie to you, a dark evil has been unleashed on the universe once again." King Kai said seriously

Goku looked incredibly guilty after that.

"Don't blame yourself; I should have warned you sooner about Bojack."

"Bojack?" Goku asked

"A galactic pirate, full of malice and rage that delights in the harm of others and pillaging of planets. Long ago, the other Kai's and myself sealed him away along with his crew, the seal of which was in my planet. Your constant training weakened my little home to the point and which he could escape. He must have sensed you and lied in wait until he found his chance." King Kai explained

Goku sighed, exasperated.

"So what now?"

King Kai shrugged

"Who knows, the best we can do is monitor his movements until we can seal him again." King Kai grinned at his crazy-haired pupil. "Although this is a perfect opportunity I've been meaning to put into action. How does a trip to the Grand Kai's planet sound?"

Naruto yawned and cracked his neck looking rather drowsy. Why you may ask, well watching fighting a bunch of no name fighters with zero experience in ki or chakra bored the poor boy to tears.

It had been six months since the end of the Cell Games and the former shinobi was getting well accustomed to life in his new home. The initial aftermath of the battle left Naruto with a serious amount of guilt after he learned of Menma's actions during the final act with the evil android and having the death of Goku still fresh in his mind wasn't doing him any favors.

After attempting to revive his new master, Goku announced that he didn't want to return in order to keep trouble on Earth to a minimum and entrusted the safety of the planet to Gohan while telling Naruto that he didn't blame the young shinobi for his death which helped Naruto's conscience a bit.

Wanting to honor his sensei despite their short time together, Naruto began teaching the little toddler, Goten the basics of chakra now that he was beginning to walk. This was Naruto's way of following Goku's request of training the boy to become a great warrior. The young ninja almost laughed out loud, a half-Saiyan with a mastery of both chakra and ki.

Quite the formidable fighter indeed,

For now, Naruto had little Goten practice hand seals by having the toddler copy his own hand movements until it became second nature. The progress was slow due to the boy's age but that was to be expected after all, the foundations were being laid in very early.

But despite that, Naruto was still rather down lately, not able to shake his guilt and fear over his four-tailed transformation and Menma's hostile takeover of his body no matter how much Piccolo and Gohan tried to cheer him up.

That's when Bulma brought up the idea of the Z-Warriors current activity: competing in Mr. Satan's Galactic Martial Arts Tournament. The current champion had stolen Gohan's credit for the defeat of Cell and ended up getting rich off the publicity shortly after. Most of the Z-Warriors didn't care for all the media attention and allowed the buffoon to enjoy the good life although both Vegeta and Naruto didn't respond positively to the man's stunt, Vegeta due to the disrespect to a Saiyan's (Gohan's) honor and Naruto because he hated liars and the slander towards his friends and what they stood for all over the news after what was their most dangerous and life-threatening battle ever.

Due to his new found fame, Mr. Satan became good friends with the world's richest man X.S. Cash and as a gift to the man's son; the world champion sponsored the current tournament at the boy's request to see 'real' aliens fight.

Although in reality Mr. Satan had some of his top students dress in ridiculous costumes for the battles.

The tournament's structure was incredibly unique for a World Tournament, it started off in several battle zones where free-for-all's took place until the last man was standing, round two consisted on one on one bouts between the winners of round one, and the final round consisted of a race to the final stage but each contestant had to fight one of the 'aliens' in a unique battle zone before they could complete the race and face Mr. Satan in the final match.

Naruto grinned maliciously at the thought of facing off against the coward in a one on one, he would make that bastard crap his pa-

"Heeyah!"

Naruto ducked under a sloppy kick and countered with one of his own, sending the poor contestant into the water below. It pretty much dwindled down to everyone rushing him and trying in vain to knock him out the ring and into the water. Wanting to just move on, the shinobi made a few subtle hand seals.

"Futon: Daitoppa (Wind Release: Great Breakthrough)!" He muttered, sending a weak version of the jutsu from his mouth to blow the rest of the fighters out of the ring.

"Naruto advances!" The announcer said

Said ninja just sighed in boredom.

"I wonder how everyone else is doing."

Gohan grinned in amusement as he systematically crushed all his competition with ease.

"Dad got stronger through the Martial Arts Tournament; maybe things can be the same for me here." Gohan thought aloud, continuing to embarrass fully grown men with all the strength in his thirteen year old half-Saiyan body.

Trunks was also wiping out the competition on his end, with little more than a blink.

"Too easy," The half-breed muttered, back handing a boxer into the water.

Krillin was rather smug throughout the tournament having not been able to knock some heads like this since the days of his youth. Of course that smugness disappeared when he discovered that quite a number of his non-human friends had joined the competition and he began muttering about how unfair the situation was for him.

Piccolo had taken out his own end of weaklings with his eyes closed, Tien was easing himself in order to have a good time, and Yamcha gave up on the whole competition after coming to the same conclusion as Krillin.

All in all it was quite the productive day for our heroes.

Naruto sighed with content, walking about the crowd while waiting for the announcements for the next bout.

"You seem more cheery than usual today." Kurama said

"Of course, it's a day where I can kick the crap out of people that's always a good time in my book."

"Well whatever, I'm warning you now though, don't get to comfortable. There is something foul in the air today."

"What do you mean?" Naruto asked, pausing mid-step

"I'm not quite sure yet just keep your guard up for now."

The young fighter scratched his head in confusion after the mighty Biju went silent. After a while he just shrugged it off, chalking it up to the giant fox being paranoid.

"Naruto!"

Said shinobi turned around to see both Gohan and Trunks approaching him.

"Hey guys, what's up?"

"They're about to announce the match-ups for the next round; we came to find you so you wouldn't get disqualified." Trunks said

Naruto looked a bit sheepish for his scatter-brained moment but motioned for his friends to lead the way.

"Now the fighters will be randomly matched up for the next round!" The announcer said, getting the crowed hyped while the matches were chosen and went as followed.

Gohan vs. Udo

Piccolo vs. Krillin

Trunks vs. Tien

Naruto vs. Doskoi

All in all, most of the matches were unspectacular for the standards of the Z-Fighters. Gohan's opponent was an abnormally large man that the young Saiyan easily sent flying out of the arena with a swift kick. Piccolo had grown irritated with Krillin's cowardice and left the arena grumpily, giving the ex-monk the win. Trunks and Tien was actually entertaining for a while to the point where Trunks was forced to transform in order to win the match. Naruto's match with the sumo, Doskoi went a similar way to Gohan's match with the shinobi sending the large man into the ocean with one good punch to the face.

After the second round, it was announced that the final race would be held on Battle Island 2 and that they were currently in route. It didn't take long for the transport and the four warriors found themselves on a grand arena in front of four transporters going in the four general directions.

"Alright, folks it's time for the final round. This portion of the tournament will be a race to the finish; the four fighters must take the transporters to unique battle zones and fight one of the four alien fighters. After that they must race to the final arena where the winner of said race must face Mr. Satan in one last match!"

The four Z-Warriors smirked at one another with barely contained amusement.

"Sorry kids, but races are where I shine." Krillin said

"Careful old man, I may just leave you in the dust." Trunks responded playfully

"No way, remember who the fastest one here is." Gohan stated with a grin.

"Aw, he thinks he's faster than a fox how cute." Naruto retorted

The comraderie was cut short at the sound of the starting bell and the four fighters separated to their transports. Wishing each other luck, the four warriors entered the transports and were off!

Krillin landed in a volcanic looking area, whether or not it was simply an effect of the environment or it was an actual volcano was lost on the monk but he decided it wasn't worth thinking about.

"I wonder where my opponent is." He muttered to himself as he traversed the area.

He came to a halt when steam began to fill the area and blocking his view. Suddenly the shape of a figure became visible behind the camouflage.

"Best to play along for the audience's sake." Krillin thought, knowing that the so-called 'aliens' were fakes.

"Hello there, my name is Krillin and I'm a mighty warrior of Earth." Krillin said, approaching the figure with the confidence that came with years of martial arts experience. "I hope we can have a good fi-uhh."

The veteran warrior was struck speechless as the smoke disappeared, revealing a beautiful blue-skinned woman with long flowing orange hair.

"Y-you're a girl, space chicks are hot!" Krillin said excitedly, making the unknown woman giggle although the human fighter was too distracted to notice the sinister tone behind it.

"Why thank you, Krillin was it?" She flipped her hair, causing the blush on Krillin's face to grow. "You may call me Zangya."

"Z-Zangya," the monk repeated in a daze.

"How amusing," she giggled, walking up to the frozen man and leaning over his ear; if Krillin was blushing before, he was glowing now.

"May when Lord Bojack takes over the Earth, you can be my pet."

That sentence snapped Krillin out of his daze allowing his fighting instincts to come back to the front of his mind.

"Wait what did you say?"

That was all the Z-Fighter managed to get out before he felt a hard knee to the gut, knocking the wind out of him. He didn't get a chance to recover before he felt a fist smash into his face.

Zangya smirked evilly as the mighty warrior fell face-first unconscious.

"I'll admit they put in a lot of effort for the locations but why is this so accurate!" Naruto complained as he traversed a desert area. "Seriously why a desert, it's too damn hot!"

"Will you shut up!" Kurama roared, making Naruto flinch from the volume. "Can't you go five minutes without bitching!?"

Well excuse me for hating the desert."

"Didn't I just say to stop- brat behind you!"

"Wha-URK!"

Naruto barely had time to turn around before he was grabbed by his throat and strangled by a blue man with an orange Mohawk and beard.

Heh, too easy." The man said, adding more pressure

Naruto yelped in pain but glared down at the man and gathered ki in his hand, shooting it at the man's face with great haste.

"Ugh! You little brat!" The man exclaimed, grabbing his burning face

The young fighter gasped for air but continued to glare at the man and got on his feet.

"Screw you Blue Man, now who the hell are you and what did you do with the buffoon in the costume!?" Naruto said, getting into a stance.

If this guy's power level was anything to go by, this wouldn't be easy.

The man let out a chuckle and crossed his arms.

"If you mean that pathetic human, I buried him somewhere in this sand. As for who I am, you may call me Bido."

Naruto growled in disgust and with a roar, entered his intitial state.

"I gotta better name, how about PREY!?"

Trunks admitted that his surroundings made him feel a bit uncomfortable; the area was a beautiful field that surrounded a large lake.

"So am I supposed to be fighting or setting up for a picnic?" He said to himself, continuing his stroll and played with the small animals in the area. He smiled at the small life forms that were close to none-existent back in his own time, thanks to the androids so he allowed himself to relax a bit.

Even Saiyans make mistakes.

Without warning, a spike of ki filled Trunks' senses before green light illuminated the area he was in. Without a moment's hesitation, the half-breed jumped high into the air, avoiding the ki blast that hit where he had been standing.

Trunks glared into a nearby tree where a blue man with a headband tied around his head smiled wickedly at him with his arm still outstretched.

"Watch where you're aiming, this is a tournament so tone down the lethal fire!" Trunks exclaimed in anger

"Aren't you the arrogant brat? Allow me to put you in your place!"

Trunks barely had time to dodge as the man appeared in front of him, a sword unsheathed and aiming to take his head off. The young Saiyan flipped a few times to get some distance, his eyes wide with shock.

"Who in the hell are you? What are your intentions!?"

The man grinned maliciously

"I am known as Kugo and my intentions…"

Trunks dodged another swipe meant to slice him in two.

"…are to kill you and your comrades!"

Gohan laughed childishly and why not?

It wasn't every day that you fought in what could be called a child's fantasy. All around him were giant balloons, building blocks, and other various objects. He had to give it to Mr. Satan, the man may have been a no good liar but he sure knew how to entertain people.

Unfortunately for our young hero, his fun was just about to end.

A giant balloon popped right in Gohan's face, startling him just as a foul ki signature made itself known to the young warrior. Suddenly, the innocent-looking objects became something to be feared as they continuously tried to crush the half-breed who swiftly dodged the assault.

"Who did that?" Gohan demanded slipping into his fighting stance.

"That would be me."

Gohan turned around to see a small man wearing a purple turban and other gaudy accessories smiling evilly at him.

"And just who are you supposed to me?" Gohan asked, glaring at the man

"My name is Bujin." The man answered, bowing slightly. "It's a pleasure to meet you Son Gohan."

The young warrior's ki flared, indicating his agitation.

"How do you know about me? I know it's got to do with more than tournament registration." Gohan said causing Bujin to giggle.

"Why of course, your father proved instrumental in our escape. It was only appropriate that we gather as much information about him as possible."

"How do you know of my father? And what do you mean by 'we'!?" Gohan demanded in anger at this man's audacity.

Bujin simply smiled in amusement.

"I'm afraid that I cannot answer that question just yet. Maybe your comrades will have the answers you seek in the next life"

Gohan's face became blank for just a moment before contorting in unbridled fury and his ki spiked creating a blue aura around him.

"Wrong answer!"

Naruto grunted as he blocked another hit, his opponent was truly heavy handed that was for sure. The young shinobi countered the punch with a kick to the jaw and followed by pulling Bido towards him and kneeing him in the face.

The man fell to the ground once again grabbing his face thanks to Naruto. The Jinchuuriki flashed through hand seals and gathered chakra into his throat.

"Futon: Daitoppa (Wind Release: Great Breakthrough)!"

The powerful wind attack blew the already injured alien into the air, slamming his body through the artificial sky. Naruto quickly followed after his new enemy into what appeared to be the ruins of a coliseum.

"What the hell is up with the architecture here?" Naruto thought with a deadpan expression.

An angry Bido knocked the blonde teen out of his thoughts with a brutal head butt to the chin and followed up with a hammer fist to the head, slamming the ninja to the street. The alien shot off a green ball of ki after his opponent, the attack detonating on contact.

"Hn, what an annoying child; at least he's been dealt with." Bido said, bringing his arm back to his side

"You wanna bet?"

Bido smirked and turned around to see an injured Naruto with the left half of his gi top blown up and a bleeding shoulder.

"Well aren't you just full of surprises boy? I expected you to have fallen from my attack."

Naruto growled at the man's arrogance but kept his cool as best he could.

"You got some nerve; what makes you think that you won?" Naruto demanded

Bido was about to let off a rather smug retort but it died in his throat immediately, confusing the blonde teen.

"What's wrong, cat got you ton-"

Naruto's eyes widened, a large ki signature had appeared out of nowhere!

"And it's right behind boy, move now!"

Naruto never got the chance unfortunately as the new entity made itself known to the ninja via a powerful ki blast to the back.

"Guh!" Naruto gasped as pain clouded his senses, feeling his back burn severely from the attack. It was too much to take for the young warrior and he fell over, falling unconscious and hitting the street hard.

The new enemy didn't look pleased, glaring at the other man who looked away in shame.

"That boy almost had you Bido; I've never known you to be so careless." He said in a deep baritone voice.

"Forgive me my lord; the boy caught me off guard." Bido responded, slightly fearful

"No excuses!" The leader snapped, narrowing his eyes and lifting up something he had been holding on to for quite some time, Bido only noticing now. It turned out that object or rather person was an unconscious Trunks.

"It's carelessness like that, that got Kogu killed by this punk. You would do well not to underestimate your enemy again am I clear?"

"Yes, Lord Bojack."

Bojack was by far the tallest and most muscular of his group, with long orange hair with a black bandana tied on his head along with the same pirate-like clothing the rest of his crew wore.

"Let's go prepare for our guest of honor; Bujin should be luring him here now." Bojack said, grabbing Naruto and taking to the air.

"After all, it's not every day we get to fight the son of the man who freed us."

"Just where the hell is this guy going?" Gohan thought, immensely annoyed at his supposedly fleeing opponent.

They had barely exchanged any blows after the blue-skinned alien taunted the half-Saiyan before said alien flew off in a random direction with Gohan hot on his tail. Eventually the two warriors came upon ruins of some sort.

Gohan's senses began to go haywire after entering the area; a potent hostile aura covered the city like a blanket, making the young fighter extremely uncomfortable and wary.

"What is that power? I've got a bad feeling."

King Kai was shaking with pure fear as he observed the events on Earth.

"T-this is terrible; why would he go to Earth of all places?" King Kai cried

Goku, who had been having an intense training session involving weights, stopped his activity after hearing his master's fearful cry.

"Hey King Kai, is everything ok?" Goku asked with concern

King Kai turned to his student, shaking like a leaf in the wind which certainly didn't reduce the Saiyan's worry in the slightest.

"G-Goku it's terrible! Bojack, he and his henchmen have reappeared!" King Kai exclaimed

Goku's serious nature kicked in almost instantly.

"Where are they now?"

"On Earth," King Kai responded solemnly.

Surprisingly Goku's serious nature evaporated almost instantly, being replaced with his carefree side once more.

"Then he's already defeated, I've got faith in the others to win."

King Kai once again had to wonder where Goku's optimism comes from.

Bujin snickered sinisterly; it appeared that Gohan wasn't letting up in the slightest and continued to follow after him.

"Right into our trap."

Soon the two warriors came upon what appeared to be the ruins of a coliseum where the blue man took a nose dive right in the center.

Gohan paused in the air, suddenly cautious of the various power levels he was now sensing. Steeling himself, the young warrior landed by the entrance to the area and continued to walk slowly into the arena where he saw a shocking sight.

In the center of the area was Gohan's friends unconscious surrounded by the new enemy.

"Oh no!" Gohan cried, sprinting towards his fallen comrades. "Guys, snap out of it. Krillin, Naruto, Trunks, come on get up!"

It was no use, they were out cold. The half-breed turned towards the aliens who had moved to either side of an entrance to the arena.

"Company, good."

Gohan's eyes narrowed towards the entrance, a malicious ki saturating his senses.

"It's been so long…."

The young warrior put up his guard in preparation for battle, killing intent began to flow in the area.

"….sense I've snapped someone's neck!"

Gohan gaped in shock at the power coming off of the new threat; Bojack had made himself known. Gohan stood tall, his arms at his sides but he kept his body tense in case of an ambush.

"His ki is amazing; this could be trouble." Gohan muttered to himself, his eyes going over the assembled group.

Just as the young Saiyan was preparing himself to move, Tien and Yamcha dropped at either side of him having both witnessed the attacks on their friends from the video feed.

"You murderers," Tien growled in anger. "You killed the intergalactic fighters!"

Bujin smirked in amusement.

"They were trespassing; Earth belongs to our master now."

The small alien's response was met with a ki blast to the fast, blowing the man off his feet.

"You're a different kind of stupid aren't you?"

The three Earth warriors were surprised to see Naruto recovered and on his feet standing on top of the wall of the coliseum.

"Naruto!? But I thought…" Gohan trailed off looking down at his unconscious friends only to witness 'Naruto' poof away and turn into a piece of debris. "…Kawairimi, that explains it."

"Thanks for the distraction guys," The young ninja said, walking up to stand in line with the others. "It was easy to get away once their eyes were off me."

"Little brat!" Bujin said angrily, rubbing his singed face.

"Shut up," Naruto retorted coldly instantly going into his initial state. "You bastards made a mistake in coming to this planet; allow me to highlight the reasons as to why."

Bido smirked at the young shinobi.

"Such misplaced confidence, you should know better by now that Master Bojack has no equal, boy!"

Zangya smiled in amusement at the group.

"The universe is riddled with the bones of those who dare to think otherwise."

Tien and Yamcha didn't wait any longer, rushing towards their new enemies.

"Allow us to test that theory!" Tien exclaimed, aiming a punch towards the female alien's face.

Zangya simply leaned to the side, never losing her smile as she kicked Tien hard in the gut, sending him flying away from her. Bido appeared above the triclops and slammed into him just as he got in his line of sight. Tien wheezed painfully, feeling his ribs snap as he fell unconscious from the pain.

Yamcha roared in anger, rushing toward the large man who caused his friend pain only to stop dead in his tracks when he suddenly felt as if his had been tied by extremely powerful rope. The former bandit had just managed to notice Bujin using a strange technique to immobilize him just as Zangya appeared in front of him and blasted him at point-blank range, sending him sprawling to the ground unconscious.

The entire exchange happened in only a few seconds, shocking both teenage boys who now stood back to back while the enemy surrounded them. The shock lasted only a few seconds before both boys adopted serious looks. Black eyes me red as the boys glanced at one another and nodded once.

"Let's go," Gohan said, raising his ki immensely, transforming with seemingly no effort.

Naruto quickly followed suit, jumping straight to his two-tailed cloak. This was not the time for jokes both boys could sense that alone Bojack was at least as strong as Cell was maybe more so if he was suppressing his power but with his crew they far outclassed the android.

Bojack narrowed his eyes at both boys as if giving them a thorough examination. Glancing at his crew, the large man gave a firm nod.

However, before any of them could respond to the signal of their master, both Z-fighters were on the move. Gohan back-pedaled, elbowing Bujin hard in the face before flying through the wall behind him to get some distance.

Bido made a move to follow after the young half-breed but Naruto stopped the man mid-flight by grabbing his ankle with cloak claw. The alien winced as the corrosive chakra began to work its magic but he didn't have time to register the effect completely as he was pulled toward the Jinchuuriki.

Naruto gathered chakra from his cloak into his palm, slamming it into Bido as he got within range.

Rasengan (Spiraling Sphere)!" The shinobi roared, grinding his jutsu into the large man and blowing him into the sky.

Naruto smirked, watching as his enemy blew through the false sky and into the next artificial area created for the tournament.

Around the same time that Naruto grabbed Bido, Gohan was instead rushed by Zangya who sent a kick towards the boy's torso. The young warrior countered by grabbing her leg before it made contact, spinning once, and throwing her back hard. Gohan followed up with a ki blast that followed after the woman.

Zangya, not being an amateur, easily recovered from the counter and backhanded the offending blast away from her person. Using super speed, the female alien appeared in front of the Super Saiyan with her knee rammed firmly into his stomach.

Gohan wheezed in pain but the pain soon turned to anger. He grabbed Zangya firmly by her arm and threw her upwards, slamming her into the false sky. He used his superior speed to head butt her through the sky and into the abandoned city area like her partner.

Both boys quickly followed after their prey into the area not wanting to give them a chance to recover.

Bujin had recovered at this point and quickly followed after the teens, miffed at being caught off guard.

Bojack meanwhile had watched the entire display and if his smirk was anything to go by, he was quite amused. Not wanting to miss anymore of his 'entertainment' the galactic tyrant followed after the rest.

No one noticed the eyes of a certain lavender-haired half-Saiyan snap open during the battle.

Gohan and Zangya were having an even exchange, going back and forth with various connecting hit and counters. They moved like blurs in the sky but to the keen eye, it was quite obvious the young Saiyan was the superior fighter a fact that the alien took notice to and disconnected from the exchange trying to distance herself from Gohan.

"No you don't!" Gohan exclaimed, rushing towards his retreating opponent. "You're not getting awa-URGH!"

Gohan felt a strong pull holding him in place and draining his power as he struggled against an invisible binding. Upon closer inspection, it was Bujin who was holding the half-breed in place with his ki while draining his power at the same time. That's when Gohan noticed another very important detail….

"I'm vulnerable like this!"

Indeed he was and Zangya took full advantage of it, beating on the defenseless teen as he struggled to get free only for his ki to get sapped that much faster causing him to drop out of Super Saiyan.

"GOHAN!" Naruto cried, taking his eyes off of his own fight for a moment.

Bido who was being utterly decimated by the Jinchuuriki during the entire fight (beating) grinned savagely and took advantage of Naruto's lapse of attention by using the same ki draining strings that Bujin was using.

Naruto cursed when he felt the technique wrap around him and hold him in place. The young shinobi struggled to get free and panicked when he felt Kurama's chakra begin to recede.

"Kurama, what's going on?"

"Blame yourself for not paying attention; whatever this technique is, it's draining our power just like your monkey friend. I can't sustain the cloak while keeping your reserves from dropping to zero at the same time."

Naruto swore once more as he felt himself dropping out of his own transformation and fall to his knees, beginning to feel dizzy.

"D-damn it,"

Bido dropped the technique with a grin present on his face and casually strode over to the exhausted ninja, grabbing him by his neck.

"Now to finish what I started." Bido said, slowly beginning to crush Naruto's throat and taking satisfaction in the boy's cries of pain.

"They're in danger!" King Kai exclaimed, watching the battle with great focus.

Goku growled in anger, feeling useless as he couldn't aid either his son or student.

"Come on boy, I know you have the power to win."

"N-Naruto," Gohan thought, falling to the ground as Zangya relented on her beating.

Both she and Bujin took their place at either side of their master who had already created a massive ball of ki and shot it at the exhausted Saiyan who weakly put up a defense.

"Makankosappo!"

An orange and purple coil beam slammed into Bojack's technique, knocking it out of its trajectory.

"Piccolo!" Gohan cried in relief at seeing his sensei standing on a tall building, his signature cape flapping in the wind.

Naruto felt the world around him begin to spin as the grip on neck grew tighter. Bido laughed in triumph and summoned ki in his free hand.

"Now die human scum!"

Just then a new presence entered the alien's senses….and it was right next to him!

Trunks' emerald eyes glared fiercely at Bido who never got a chance to form words before the Super Saiyan blew his head off with a point blank ki blast aimed at the side of his face. The corpse's grip on Naruto loosened instantly as it fell backwards.

Naruto coughed violently as he massaged his abused neck with Trunks rubbing his back.

"Thanks Trunks, I owe you." Naruto said roughly

"No need for that, come on we still gotta job to do." Trunks responded

With a nod, both warriors took to the sky heading for Gohan's location finding their friend exhausted but otherwise okay.

"Good work Trunks," Piccolo said, taking off his cape and turban. "You three take a breather, let me cut in."

Without waiting for a response, the Namekian rushed towards Bojack completely ignoring the man's remaining subordinates.

The burly leader moved faster than Piccolo had expected and grabbed the Namekian by the head while simultaneously slamming his fist into the green man's chest. Piccolo stay frozen in the air as his body tensed with pain. Bojack sent a swift spin kick into the warrior's side sending him shooting off like a rocket through a tower.

The two half-Saiyans and one Jinchuuriki wasted no time and leapt back into action. However Zangya and Bujin responded in kind, immobilizing Naruto and Trunks while Gohan continued towards the fallen Piccolo.

Bojack didn't allow the young Saiyan to get far and sent him to the ground with a sucker punch to the face.

"No, Gohan!" Trunks cried in anger.

"Sorry but you're not going anywhere, handsome." Zangya said, with a seductive smile one that made Trunks' skin crawl.

It seemed lady luck was on our hero's side because just as Zangya spoke those words, a familiar sword cut through the bindings holding the Saiyan and shinobi in place. Trunks quickly grabbed the sword and the sheathe flying towards his face.

"Father!" Trunks said joyously, putting his sword on his back.

Vegeta appeared in the sky in front of Bojack, transformed and battle ready.

"Leave him to me." The Saiyan Prince ordered

With a mighty roar Vegeta began to shoot of a barrage of ki blasts at the alien who responded in kind, destroying multiple buildings in the area in their act.

"For once, I'm glad to see Vegeta." Naruto muttered

"I wonder why he showed up; he hasn't been in the mood to fight since Goku died. I wonder what changed." Trunks said, watching his father do battle with Bojack.

Naruto just shrugged, not having an answer that didn't sound sarcastic.

Vegeta cried in pain as Bojack punished him with a barrage of punches and kicks and slammed him to the ground with a hammer-fist.

"Father!" Trunks cried in concern

"Stay out of the way, Trunks!" Vegeta snapped in annoyance

The Prince rushed Bojack once again and Trunks moved to stop him but was stopped by a familiar binding before he was hit over the head, knocking him out.

"I'm afraid you aren't going anywhere." Bujin said with amusement

"You little pest!" Naruto growled, moving to knock the small man around but was stopped in a similar fashion by Zangya.

"The same goes for you little boy."

Gohan noticed his friend's predicament and moved to help them but a cry of pain from Vegeta stopped him.

"Damn it!" Gohan cursed now stuck between a rock and a hard place. Quickly deciding that Vegeta was in more danger, Gohan shot off towards the Saiyan Prince.

Vegeta meanwhile was getting a severe beating as every hit was strong enough to tear at Bojack's clothing by force alone. The alien flew back a bit and with a mighty roar, transformed. His skin turned green, his hair was now a deep red, and his muscles and power expanded immensely. Bojack wasted no time and launched a powerful ki technique at Vegeta, hitting him and causing him to black out from his injuries.

"Vegeta!" Gohan exclaimed, catching Bojack's attention.

"Son Gohan," He said, surprising the young fighter. "You and your comrades surpassed my expectations; your father's influence runs deep in seems."

"How do you know of my father?"

Bojack crossed his arms with a condescending smile on his face.

"Your foolish daddy tends to overdo it when training and caused the seal on the annoying Kai's planet to weaken. That allowed my crew and I a perfect opportunity to escape that wretched prison."

"So why come to Earth then?" Gohan demanded

"It's only fair to thank Goku by making the planet he loved the most my base of operations."

That statement struck a chord with the teen and in a flash light; Gohan had transformed and rushed the large man who back handed the half-breed away from him. Zangya and Bujin appeared on either side of Gohan and held him in place with their ki.

Bojack grabbed Gohan by the head and smirked down at him.

"Now I want you to give your father a message for me."

Without warning he head butted the half-breed and kneed him in the stomach before slugging him in the face. Just as Bojack moved to finish Gohan, a familiar red claw cut through the bindings holding him.

"You won't get your way!" a three-tailed Naruto roared, sending his three tails out like spears towards the three aliens. Bojack easily dodged the one meant for him but his subordinates weren't as fast and were skewered by the chakra, the corrosive chakra burning their bodies to dust.

"You damn brat!" The remaining tyrant roared, gathering ki into his hand. "Grand Smasher!"

Naruto didn't have a chance to even defend himself before he was hit and sent spiraling into the air and out of the battle zone. The blast was so spectacular that it destroyed the video feed, leaving the crowd in a panic over what was going on.

"Naruto!" Gohan shouted in worry as he saw he friend violently blown off his feet. "You bastard, I'll kill you!"

Gohan felt his temper snap and his anger intensify, allowing him access to the familiar power he had achieved during the battle with Cell. With a roar, Gohan's power sky rocketed pushing him to his peak as a Super Saiyan and beyond to the next level.

"W-what is this power?" Bojack demanded in confusion as he took in the details of Gohan's transformation.

He posture was much more straight and ridged, his hair completely spiked minus a single strand that hung over his eyes, and his eyes were sharper and much more serious.

"You don't need to worry about it." Gohan spat, cupping both hands to his side and instantly gathering the necessary ki creating a blue and white ki in his hands. "You'll be dead before you find the answer; you'll pay for hurting my friends!"

Bojack gathered ki in both hands and combined the two balls of energy and launching a powerful ki beam at the now impassive Saiyan.

"Ka-me-ha-me-HA!"

The signature technique of the turtle school shot right through the alien's beam much to his shock before slamming into him dead center.

"AAAAHHHH!" He roared in pain as he evaporated to dust.

Gohan breathed a sigh of relief as the enemy's signature disappeared. He felt his transformation drop followed by a wave of exhaustion and before he knew it he blacked out.

He hadn't taken notice of a familiar afro-haired champion appearing in a transportation pod only to notice the damaged warriors. The man had yet another 'great idea' and rubbed his hands greedily.

Goku smiled in both pride and relief, he thought he would have to break the rules in order to help out but in the end his son and student pulled through.

"Congrats boys, you've fully stepped up to the role as protectors. I'll be sure to watch you both grow, make me proud."

Krillin felt his eye twitch in annoyance as he read the front page of the newspaper.

"'Mr. Satan Saves Earth Twice' seriously this bum makes front page while we're in the hospital."

Naruto grunted in agreement with the former monk; seriously he was blasted into the freaking ocean for killing two of the aliens. You'd think he'd get some sort of acknowledgement but no, Mr. Satan took his credit again.

Gohan laughed at his pouting friends, he personally didn't care if Mr. Satan did somehow take the credit for what happened it was less media on his back in the end.

"Don't worry so much about it you two," Trunks said from his own hospital bed. "Karma will get that man one day for his lies count on it."

"Screw that," Oolong cut in. "You guys should fight for the credit; with the right press you'd guys could be bigger than Mr. Satan."

"Yeah sure, let's all grow our hair out into afros and grow stupid mustaches next." Naruto interjected sarcastically

"I'm sure we could get our chins for a discount." Krillin added

Everyone shared a good laugh, relishing in another job well done. It was a period of rest for our heroes and rest they will because they will not have another major threat for a while….

…Deep in the Northern Mountains lie the ruins of the lab of the once great Dr. Gero, mastermind behind the Red Ribbon Army and creator of the androids. Under said ruins are the remains of the bunker that was ransacked and destroyed by Trunks and Krillin.

To our heroes, the location is just a distant memory, however had our heroes been a bit more thorough in their search they would have discovered a second bunker below the first where Dr. Gero's work continues.

A giant computer, scanned the recordings of the battles of Cell and Bojack and implemented them into it's system, feeding them into three pods that read '13', '14', and '15'.

"SYSTEM RESET, SCANNING OF NEW POWER PLATEAU, MAKING NECESSARY CHANGES TO POWER AND SUPPLY OUTPUT, UPGRADE IN PROGRESS, ESTIMATED TIME TILL COMPLETION:

….FIVE YEARS"

And that's a wrap; next time is the time skip and the start of the new arc. Admittedly this chapter was kind of rushed on my part hopefully it's not too noticeable but I didn't like how this one came out as much as the last one. Hopefully you all enjoy it though and Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate it. Until next time everyone.
