Hey Guys! Here's the new chapter! I have to warn you that I've had the WORST writers block in the world while writing this chapter and It didn't come out as good as I wish it did :(. I still tried my best and I hope you enjoy anyway!

Gumball was sitting alone on his bed thinking. It was night time and he was bored out of his mind with nothing to do. Ever since the accident he had a lot of hope that Darwin would regain his memory but for some reason he was losing his hope. It had been almost two weeks since the accident and nothing has changed. Gumball began hanging out less and less with Darwin and he felt guilty about it. Darwin took notice of his strange behavior but every time he had mentioned if he was okay Gumball would deny that anything was wrong. Darwin then walked into the room.

"Hey" Darwin said walking in.

"Hey" Gumball greeted. "What's up?"

"Um nothing, I'm just kind of bored and everyone seems to busy to talk to me" Darwin said sadly.

"Oh I'm sorry" Gumball apologized. As much as he felt bad, he didn't really want to hang out with Darwin at the moment and that made him feel worse.

"Can we do something?" Darwin asked hopefully.

"Well there's nothing to do really…" Gumball said. Darwin didn't like being ignored. When he first came home everyone seemed happy and wanted to hang out with him now it felt like everyone was ignoring him or avoiding him.

"Are you sure?" Darwin asked. He knew that Gumball was lying and ignoring him on purpose but he didn't know why.

"Yeah I'm sorry but I have stuff to do" Gumball said. He then got up and left the room leaving Darwin confused more then ever. Gumball walked over and knocked on Anais's door.

"Who is it?" She asked from the other side of the door.

"It's me can I come in." Gumball asked.

"Sure"

"We need to talk" Gumball said entering the room.

"About?" Anais asked.

"About Darwin" Gumball said.

"Why?" Anais said annoyed.

"Look I know you don't like to talk about Darwin but you can't ignore him forever." Gumball said frustrated. All he wanted to do was talk to someone about how he was feeling and it bothered him that Anais wouldn't listen to him because it involved Darwin.

"Well you can't tell me what to do." Anais said defensively.

"Look I didn't come to argue with you, I just wanted to talk about him." Gumball explained.

"Well I'm sorry but I really don't want to talk about him so you can just leave my room." Anais said. Gumball felt bad but he knew he had to respect her wishes. He let out a sigh and then turned around and left her room. He stood there in the hallway not knowing what to do or who to talk too. He then went downstairs and sat down on the couch. He then saw that his mom was in the kitchen washing dishes.

"Hey Mom?" Gumball said entering the kitchen. Nicole turned around to see her son standing there in the doorway.

"Oh hi sweetie, what do you need?" She asked. She was a little worried by the way he sounded.

"Well can I talk to you about something?" Gumball asked.

"Oh well sure of course." Nicole said putting her dishes down in the sink. They both walked over to the kitchen table and sat down.

"So what's the problem?" Nicole asked.

"Well it's about Darwin…" Gumball said hesitantly.

"Ohhh" Nicole said understanding a little bit more. "Are you worried about him?"

Darwin was walking down the hallway looking for Gumball when he heard him talking with his mother downstairs. He was curious to what they were talking about so he began to eavesdrop.

"Well yeah! I mean it's almost been two weeks and nothings changed." Gumball said looking down. "I've been avoiding him for the past couple of days because every time I hang out with him I remember that he could forget about us forever."

"Oh honey you can't think that way, you have to be positive" Nicole said patting her son on the back.

"I have been and nothings happened, I'm just so scared I mean do you ever worry that he won't remember us anymore?" Gumball asked.

"Well of course" Nicole admitted. "I'm always afraid of that but it's not healthy to think like that all the time."

"I know you're right, I'm just afraid." Gumball said.

"I know that you're scared, it's okay to be scared, you just have to be patient, okay?" Nicole said understanding. Gumball felt a lot better. At first he was hesitant to talk to his mom about this but he was happy he did.

"Okay" Gumball said. "Wow I'm surprised over how calm you have been through this whole thing."

"Oh it's hard and scary but you have to be strong." Nicole said with a little smile.

"I know, you're right and thanks." Gumball said giving her a hug. Darwin, who was still eavesdropping was surprised and upset about what he just heard. He ran to his room and then closed the door. So that was why no one wanted to be around him anymore, because he still couldn't remember anything. He hated that he couldn't remember anything and no matter how much he tried to remember it wouldn't work. That's when he heard Gumball enter the room. Gumball entered the room to see Darwin who looked upset.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Gumball asked.

"I thought we were supposed to be honest with each other" Darwin said angrily.

"What do you mean?" Gumball asked confused.

"I heard you guys talking downstairs, do you just hate to be around me?"

"No of course not" Gumball assured him. He had no idea that Darwin heard his conversation and he didn't mean for him to take it the wrong way.

"Well then why do you keep avoiding me, do you hate me?" Darwin asked with tears streaming down his face.

"No I could never hate you" Gumball said. "I'm sorry if you took it the wrong way, it's not your fault"

"It's just that everyone is now ignoring me and I don't even know why it's like they want me to be something that I can't." Darwin cried.

"I'm sorry, for ignoring you and-" Gumball said.

"Look" Darwin interrupted "I just want to be left alone" Darwin said as he went to his bed.

"Okay" Gumball said as he went up to his own bed.

. Later that night, Gumball couldn't sleep well that night. In a way he felt responsible for hurting Darwin's feelings. He didn't mean to ignore him or make him feel bad but yet he did. Even though it was late at night he decided to apologize to Darwin. He then went over to Darwin's bed to see that he wasn't there. He then went over the hallway and began to look over the house. He couldn't find him anywhere, that's when he started to panic….
