Hey peeps! I got another one for ya already. So this is basically a filler chapter lol. Probably not a good I'm taking into account the feedback I'm receiving. I'm kind of remembering the ideas and how I wanted to story to go back when I was actively brainstorming every day. Anyways enjoy your read!

"Alright, who is my next victim to read?" He looked around the classroom, "Ah, how about you Ms. Hyuuga." He noticed she was clearly daydreaming. "Hinata. Hinata," dragging out her name the second time. "Hinata Hyuuga!", Mr. Hatake yelled from the front of the classroom.

Being startled, she responded, "Oh yes, I'm sorry."

"Nice to have you with us again. Please read page 67."

"Yes sir."

Hinata starts to read. "In life, there are always many great authors and writers. Some of the most bas—".

*RING RING*

Hinata looks up at the clock and then at Mr. Hatake.

He sighs, "Well class we will attempt more torture tomorrow. Don't forget to do the homework."

The classes spilled out into the hallway. As Hinata packed up her belongings, Naruto went to talk to her.

"Hey there."

"Hi."

"You seem kinda spaced out in class."

"I just have a lot on my mind. Mostly my father."

"Yeah, I understand. Are you worried?"

"No. It's not that. It's just I have things I want to talk to him about, but I don't want to stress him out and possibly trigger another heart attack."

"That makes sense." I want to take her mind off of that right now! "Hinata, after lunch let's skip study hall and go take a walk. How 'bout it?"

"I don't know if skipping class would really be okay."

"I promise I won't do anything to get you into trouble."

"Alright."

"Oy, Naruto!"

"Hey Sasuke, wassup?"

"I'm having a small party at my house this weekend. My parents are helping Itachi move into his new apartment, so I'll have the whole place to myself for a couple of days."

"What's the occasion?"

"Why does the need to be an 'occasion'?"

"Sure, whatever. I'm down."

Sasuke sees Sakura strolling into the cafeteria late.

"Lunch is almost over. Where have you been?"

"Oh I'm sorry! I had a meeting with the counselor. I thought I texted you."

"No, hence my worry."

"Well, I am sorry." She had a playful look about her. "I'll make it up to you." She grabbed his hands and they walked out of the cafeteria.

Those two need to be neutered. He rolled his eyes and finished his food.

He walked to his locker to see Hinata standing by it with her back to him and began to light up with joy.

"Hey you!" Hinata was startled and jumped. "Haha. Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. And not that I don't appreciate seeing you, but why are you standing at my locker?"

"You said to meet you so we could skip study hall. I didn't know where you'd be, but I figured you'd come back to your locker eventually." I could have just texted him. I seem like such a stalker, just waiting at his locker.

"Well since you're here, let's go." He put his belongings in his locker.

"And this is called 'Ai's Cove'."

"But, it's not a cove. It's more of a pond with a bridge over it."

"I think the person who named it meant for you to use your imagination," he said with an almost confused face while scratching his head.

She chuckled at what he was saying.

"You know, that's the first time I've seen that smile all day."

"What do you mean? I smiled early today before class."

"Well yeah, but it wasn't your smile you know?"

Hinata was puzzled. What could he possibly mean by that?

"I don't understand Naruto."
"I mean it wasn't your genuine happy smile. I've come to learn what you look like when you're honestly happy." At least I think I do.

She looked at him. "Good," was all she simply said. There they sat staring at each other for a minute. Slowly, Naruto began to move closer to her. She could almost feel the need to move closer as well. They were so close they could almost each other's thoughts. But then something caught her eye.

"Oh wow," said Hinata.

Naruto exhaled and thought to himself, "So close again". He then turned around to see what she was looking at.

"What is it?"

"It's a Jade Vine."

"A what now?"

"A very rare flower that only blooms every few decades."

"You don't seem like the botanist type Hinata."

"I'm not. My mother was. It was her favorite hobby. She taught me about thousands of flowers before she became ill. I remember this one the most because it was the only rare flower she had never seen in person. She wanted to go on a voyage to find one somewhere one day after she retired. But I guess life had other plans."

Mother, can you see it? How beautiful it is?

"Should we pick it?"

"No. I think others deserve to see its beauty as well." He looked at her and thought the same thing.

Yeah, others should see your beauty. "Hey Hinata, let's go have some fun."

"I thought we were having fun?"

"I meant with other people. You've been here almost a month now and how many people do you know?"

"Well, I know you."

"Of course."

"Neji."

"Doesn't count."

"Sasuke and Sakura."

"Not including Neji, that's three people."

She then had a moment of aha! "I met your other friends on my first day at lunch, remember?"

"Technically, I just introduced you to them. You never really hung out with them much. And I'm saying all of this because Sasuke is throwing a party at his house this weekend and I wanted to know if you wanted to be my plus one?

"A pa…party?"

"Yeah. It'll be fun. Plus all three of your only friends will be there. Haha."

Hinata pushed him playfully, "Whatever. I'll go." She looked down at her watch. "Oh my, study hall is almost over. We should really get back to school."

Once they arrived back to school, Hinata went to go find Sakura. She eventually found her in the school rec center exercising.

"There you are Sakura!"

"Oh hey Hinata. How are you?"

"I'm well. May I ask you a favor?"

"Sure," she said while still lifting weights.

"Naruto invited me to Sasuke's party this weekend. He says he feels it's a good way to meet people at the school."

"Because you kinda only know like three people?"

"Did you include Neji in that count?"

"You know he doesn't count. Haha."

"Yes, well. I was wondering if you could help me prepare for a party."

"What do you mean prepare?"

"I've never been to one before and I really don't want to embarrass any of you."

"Alright then," BANG! She dropped the 150-pound weights back down. "Friday before the party come to my house."

Hinata being so elated ran over to Sakura and hugged her tightly, "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" She then ran out towards the door.

"AND DON'T FORGET TO BRING SOMETHING SEXY TO WEAR!"

Hinata stopped dead in her tracks. 'Something sexy to wear'. She almost folded over, "Yes, yes… sure thing."

I know, I know. Not my best work, but I feel that if I wrote this it will help me transition more easily to another chapter. Somethings in here I feel I would subtly try to incorporate from the cannon like Sakura being hella strong. And for those of you who know about flowers or are actually botanists, I did research the flower and I know the actual info about it, but I really liked it and wanted to use it in my story, so bite me lol.
