The door to the tiny break room of St. Vincent's Women and Children's Refuge bursts open to admit Courfeyrac, startling Azelma and making her drop her coffee spoon. She prefers lolling around on weekends, especially after such a tiring work week, but helping out in the shelter is practically a Thenardier siblings tradition. At least one of them drops by every week to pitch in.

"So, updates?" asks the newly-arrived man, beelining towards her. She bends to pick up her spoon from the floor and discreetly nods her head in the direction of her brother, who is sifting through the cupboards for a snack. He pouts and settles for a gentle touch on her hand when she straightens up before fetching his favorite cup from the mug tree beside the coffeemaker.

"Little Jimmy is still convinced that the statues on the lawn are moving," Gavroche replies before popping a whole Oreo cookie in his mouth.

"Not the update I was asking for, Gav, but thanks for reminding me to smack you in the head. Some of the younger children are still getting nightmares after watching that Weeping Angels episode."

"Hey, I told you not to put me in charge of entertaining them for an entire afternoon!" the teen grumbles.

Courfeyrac sits besides Azelma at the lone table. "And I told you that Father Myriel needed help with the visiting donors. I had to charm them into writing a bigger check to help with the shelter's upkeep. Anyway, update on Operation 'Get Enjolras and Éponine Back Together Again?'"

"Well, more chance encounters are going to be hard to engineer with Éppie being busy with the bakeshop while Cosette's in full wedding mode. She's been making me man the cashier while she bakes in the back whenever possible," Azelma replies.

"Yeah, she's too busy to drive to the Musain to deliver their daily order while Bossuet's foot healed. She's been making me do the delivery, but I think she's just trying to hide in her kitchen until Enjolras leaves town again," Gavroche adds.

Courfeyrac frowns at this news. "Seriously?"

Azelma shrugs a shoulder. "Her routine for the past few days have been wake up, go work at the bakeshop, and then return home. And since our flat's just upstairs from the bakeshop, well, it's not conducive to more 'chance' encounters with Enjolras, you know?"

"Any more stress baking episodes?"

"Nope. Just the one," she says.

"Damn, I thought I could score more free baked stuff from her!"

"Hey!" the Thenardier siblings chorus, Azelma smacking the back of Courfeyrac's head in annoyance.

"Kidding!" the dark-haired Ami laughs. "But joking aside, we need to get them to talk to each other! And we don't have much time until the summer ends and Enjolras leaves for Massachussetts again. I think I may have recruited Combeferre to our cause, but he's not going to help in any plan that will force the two to meet."

Azelma plays with her hair as she contemplates their next plan of action. "Okay, but with the sort of timeframe we're looking at, we just might have to do that. How else do we get two of the most stubborn people in the world to actually sit down and sort themselves out?"

"Kidnap them and lock them in a room?" Gavroche jokes.

His sister laughs, but Courfeyrac's eyes gleam with mischief at the suggestion.

"Courf, I wasn't serious, okay?"

"Oh God, NO!"

He merely grins at the younger man and ignores Azelma's aghast face. "It's a good plan…"

Gavroche groans and slumps on the chair across from him. "We live with her! She will make our lives miserable if she ever found out we're scheming to lock them in a room. Heck, the fact that we're scheming at all is probably reason enough for her to throttle us."

Courfeyrac laughs and pats his shoulders. "Okay, fine, we won't kidnap them. But, maybe we can still make sure they're in the same room for an indefinite amount of time..."

"Aside from the wedding?" Azelma asks. Getting Éponine to go anywhere the boys would suggest is going to be very tricky to pull off. Her sister is too clever to get caught unawares again and their friends are awful, awful liars.

Courfeyrac pulls out his phone from his pocket and crawls through his address book. "Yep, lemme just call someone. Hopefully he's awake…"

The two siblings lean in closer just as a deep voice croaks out a raspy "Hello?"

"Capital R! When is your better, slightly more sober half coming home? ...Excellent! We're having a little Les Amis reunion party!"
