a/n – oh wow, were already at chapter 11. The only reason I'm still here is you guys, so keep reading. Oh yah in case you don't read the a/n at the bottom I'm not UPDATING the next chapter till I get 45 REVIEWS
FairyTailMage101 – thanks for reviewing and noticing how I'm trying to balance Sakura's feeling about her dead friends and her love for Sasori.
Good chap. I like how you are including Sakura's feelings about betraying her dead friends. To be honest, if I was Sakura, I would have no idea how to handle those emotions. Can't wait to see what happens next :)
sunshinesprine – Oh wow you currently win for longest review and I want to thank you for caring so much, it really makes me happy to know that there are people like you out there who really like my story, and I like your ideas.
Akatsukirecruit- thanks for the review, I'm happy you like my story and you're enjoying it.
Weaselandcherry- I completely agree with you, but it was nice to see him back even if it only was for a short time and it was edo tensei (hope I spelled that right) I seriously cried during that episode.
Sasori POV
Sasori woke up the next morning to find himself and Sakura asleep together under the big Sakura tree in his private garden. He remembered last night and remembered him and Sakura leaving the festival at midnight to look up at the stars in a more secluded spot. The air was strangely warm, which was contrasting of regular Suna weather, where every morning was an oven. Gently he carried her upstairs and put her in their room. He would see her later but first he had something to attend too. He had some business to attend too with Madara at the leaf village. He would tell Sakura when she woke up that he was leaving for a bit. He did not want to bring her along, because she would be in danger and he didn't trust Madara, regardless of how powerful he was. He stared packing for his trip.
Sakura POV
When she woke up she saw the outline of Sasori bending over to get some clothes from the bottom draw. On the bed was a sealing scroll. She figured he was leaving for business, but a large part of her felt angry at him for leaving right after she had confessed her love for him.
"Sasori?"
"hm," he said making a noncommittal grunt towards her.
What was it with men and one syllable replies? The trait reminded her of him; slowly her heart began to feel pain. Bad Sakura she chided herself, he was gone and she was here with a man who loved and respected her. He had not betrayed her and he had, that was the end of it.
"Where are you going?"
"To Konoha," he answered.
Her eyes lit up at the prospect of returning home but then reminded herself she had no home, everything had been destroyed. Still she thought to herself there were still some people there that she wanted to see. Hinta, Shikamura and TenTen had been the only ones beside herself and Ino who had survived from the original Konoha eleven.
"No, Sakura you can't go," he said answering her question before she even had a chance to ask.
She grumbled to herself something about overprotective men. She watched as Sasori came over and kissed her on the forehead.
"Be good my little cherry, I'll be back in about a week, meanwhile you can see that blonde girl you seemed to be so fond about."
She waived him goodbye and watched him jump out the window.
When Sakura went downstairs she was unsurprised to find the Deidara eating a bowl of cereal.
"Hello pinky," she heard him say and watched as he returned to his bowl of cereal he seemed so engrossed in. she nodded and then continued to her friend's room which was on the other side of house.
When she arrived on the other side of the house she was surprised to find Hannah and Ino laughing together. Ino looked much healthier and she had gained back most of her weight making her look healthy again. When she entered the room Hannah smiled at her and Ino just looked at her intently.
"So Ino.. Are you feeling better," she said making her voice artificially cheerful. Ino just glared and nodded. The three girls began to talk, but Sakura could feel the awkward silence that hung in the air. She was upset to have her best friend mad at her. Finally she built up the courage
"Um Ino did I do something wrong?"
She had obviously asked the right question because the blonde turned to her with venom in her eyes.
"yah you bet something is wrong you traitorous bitch! Or should I call you Mrs. Kazakage? How could you, how could you marry the person who was partly responsible for the deaths of our friends or have you too forgotten them already? Do you know where that bastard Sasori even is? He is in Konoha, probably kissing Madara's feet, oh and this one is very important to you, he's probably worshipping the new Hokage right now, your second love Saskue. You're a disgrace" she spat.
Sakura looked over to her in too much shock and pain to speak. She didn't say anything, she just got up unable to speak. She ran outside.
"Damnit," she screamed and with all her might she punched the wall, sending half of the house in ruins. Was what Ino said really true, had she betrayed them? She was so mad she did not think as she ran off in the direction of Konoha. She wanted to see if the rumors were really true. Did Sasori really worship Madara and Saskue? With that she ran off unable to hear Deidara's angry screams of her to return.
a/n – yah I finished! I can finally see this story moving really fast, with the little gears in my head spinning. Thanks to sunshinesprine who gave me a really good idea to get this story moving. Oh yah and just because I'm EVIL I have decided not to update till I get 45 REVIEWS so yah better start REVIEWING. Love yah and till next time bye.
