Teaser, been reading A LOT of Robert Heinlein getting myself ready for what's coming, I'm currently playing through ME3 again getting my mind into the game of writing what is needed. I've decided that its time to make sure this story doesn't die due to my emotional bullshit, so here is a peace offering to my readers, talk to you very soon

The Sol system, birthplace of the Immortal Emperor of the Holy Empire of Britannia and the people he rules over, while the mild yellow star at it's center belays the obvious majesty of what revolves around it the actions of it's denizens make up much for its lack of luster. Once one moved through the 'Gate of Charon' and made their way past the bristling military facility of Pluto which is always on alert with weapons primed they would then be escorted through the massive defense net leading to the inner system. While the gas giants Uranus and Neptune were largely ignored by the Imperium of Man Saturn and Jupiter could not be said to be the same.

Both planets were heavily mined for H-3 fuel, other valuable gases, and rare gems that only formed in their lower atmospheres, over a dozen terraformed moons circled both planets boasting a total population of two billion. Circling each moon were over four hundred two kilometer wide orbital defense platforms and hundreds of automated defense satellites, past these vanguards of humanity one must make their way through the systems heavily mined asteroid belt. Hidden throughout the thousands of mining facilities were converted military bases all armed to the teeth with pulse lasers and Freyja warhead missiles just waiting for someone stupid enough to run the gauntlet.

Past this brier patch the industrial behemoth of Mars is found, The Red Planet, The Bringer of War, the hearth of the Immortal Emperor's furnace of conquest material, in the heart of this dead planet rests the shipyards and construction gantries of the Imperial fleet. Surrounding this bastion of industry are over four thousand orbital defense platforms and twenty artificial moons carved from mined asteroids, each with the equivalent firepower of forty Dreadnoughts. Ignoring the cradle of humanity for a moment one would look to Venus, the poster child so to speak of the Empire's terraforming capabilities, the once sulfuric planet now boasted the second highest population in the Empire.

Once tidely locked to the Sol systems star Venus now has a daily rotation rate of twenty-three hours thanks to the planet Mercury being drawn from its decaying orbit around Sol and made into the Venusian moon. Venus is a planet of shallow blue seas and endless viridan grasslands, sporting a massive tourist industry that has been found to be quite popular with the Salarian Union's members its defense fleet is roughly half of that of Mars.

Looking towards Earth one must first look to her moon, Luna is a force upon herself, housing hundreds of subterranean cities and ship docks her surface is dotted with tens of thousands of solar powered orbital defense lasers. Countless rerouting mirror arrays fill her orbit, a laser fired from the far side could be shifted to the other within seconds, coupled with the hundreds of thousands of cloaked defense satellites filling her orbit Luna is a aegis goddess of Earth.

Earth, the birthplace of the Immortal Emperor Lelouch vi Britannia of his most Holy Empire of Britannia, the capital of which rests on the North American continent in the desert wastes of the Duchy of Arizona. Surrounding the brightest gem of his Holy Empire is the First fleet, a massive armada constantly rotated out with active fleet elements to keep her crews sharp, past these valiant vessels rests humanities bulwark. Earth's Lagrange points each sport a massive defense fortress, A Baoa Qu, Soloman, Jachin Due, Pezun, and Axis, each boasting the firepower and resources of a core colony planet.

Past these valiant defenders of His Majesties Empire rests eight thousand orbital defense platforms and over three million attack satellites protecting the massive Dyson Solar collector network. This marvel of modern engineering consists of three orbital elevators anchored to Earth's equator supporting a massive globe spanning ring of solar collectors, orbital defense particle cannons constantly rotating along its surface.

Once past these wondrous defenses one will find themselves in Mother Terra's airspace, once cleared through the constantly patrolling Tristan defense force kept in low orbit one may approach the Megalopolis's of the Empire. Each city has a distinct flavor and flair, the Emperor despises conformity and wishes for his people to celebrate their individuality so it is best to research the city one is taking holiday in before arriving.

If one dares to approach it they can visit the heart of the Empire, the seat of the line of Britannia, the city of Pendragon. This wheel shaped oasis in the desert is the culmination of humanities brutal hold over nature, interspersed between each of the eighteen 'spokes' containing the mass transit systems of the city are enormous parks, industrial centers, commercial hubs and kilometer tall residential towers. Located next to the Imperial Palace is Earths Premier military academy where students of the 'Lady General Isabella Santiago Acadamy' are trained to become the most feared leaders throughout the empire. Taught by the Emperor's own Knight Jeremiah Gottwald these warriors learn from Asari Commandos, Krogan Warlords, Salarian Infiltrators, and Turian Spec Ops officers becoming the most well rounded soldiers in the galaxy.

The Emperor only wants peace, but he is aware that wishing for something, and willing to fight for it are two very different things, and His Most Royal Majesty will never find his people wanting, all hail Britannia, all hail Emperor Lelouch!
