Chapter 11
After a night of crying herself to sleep, Padme woke up only to find herself all alone in the bed.
Getting up from her bed Padme grabbed her robe and wrapped it around herself then she headed out of the bedroom and went downstairs to the kitchen area.
Walking into the kitchen Padme went over to the stove and grabbed the tea pot and began putting water into the pot before putting it back onto the stove and turning on the stove so that way the water can start boiling.
Turning away from the stove Padme went over to the washer and grabbed a clean cup then went back over to the stove and picked up the pot of hot water and poured it into the cup.
" Hey." Anakin walked into the kitchen and came up behind Padme and wrapping his arms around her waist.
" Hey, mmm . . . I feel so much at peace when your arms around me." Padme moaned as she started to feel that power that happens only when they are together like this.
" Same here, I just want to let you know how much I love you Padme. Every time we touch it feels that our souls are wrapping around each other. Hey are you ok?" Anakin did noticed that Padme shuttered at the word love, and he believes it has something to do with her ex-fiancée.
" How could I have been so blind and stupid as to believe he would ever love me, and when there was a couple of the nurses there were whispering things about me when they thought I did not hear them." Padme moved out of the Anakin's arms and went over to the kitchen table.
" First thing you are not stupid and from what I have heard love makes one blind, and why did you not just read their minds to really know what they were thinking about you?" Anakin came over to the table and sat down next to Padme.
" I could not read their minds or thoughts that is because of the badges we have to wear causes a bubble around the person so that way it blocks the Force using people, but I cannot understand why I could not read Kehnte's mind and thoughts when we are away from the hospital, it seems that he had something that was blocking my senses." Padme looked at Anakin as a tear rolled down her cheek.
" Yes that does sound very weird, why did her cheat on you in the first place." Anakin got up and went over to the stove and picked up the pot of hot water and poured some hot water into his cup, that he had brought down to the kitchen with him.
" Well I think it has something to do with the fact that I would not sleep with him, so he went looking for someone who would have sex with him, just because I would not have sex with him." Padme watch Anakin make himself some Caf.
" Um . . . are you say that you have never had sex?" Anakin looked over at Padme with a somewhat shock.
" Yes that is what I am saying, I was waiting for my wedding night, but I was hoping to have sex with the person that I truly love, and that person truly loves me back, well I guess you can say my soul mate." Padme felt two presence coming towards the kitchen.
" Hey Paddy . . . um hey Anakin." Antonea walked into the kitchen but she stopped when she saw her older sister and brother sitting at the kitchen table.
" Morning Paddy, Anakin . . . am hungry." Bryehnt also walked into the kitchen and came over to Padme and hugged her and then he went over to Anakin and also hugged him too, before he turned back to Padme.
" And you want me to fix you something right?" Padme looked at her baby brother and just shook her head with a small laugh.
" Um . . . yeah could you please." Bryehnt begged his older sister.
" Bryehnt leave your sister alone and I will start breakfast in a couple of minutes, so you are not going to starve." Shmi walked into the kitchen and gave her youngest child a very stern look.
" Yes ma'am." Bryehnt lowered his head and gave his mother a sad puppy dog look.
" And do not give me that look, so why don't you and Antonea go into the living room and watch the holo-net." Shmi smiled at Bryehnt and nodded to her youngest daughter to go with her brother.
The younger children took off for the living room and could be heard turning on the holo-net and fighting over who would sit in big comfy chair.
" Well I do need to get clean up and get dress." Padme stood up from the table and went over to the sink and put her cup into it before going over to Shmi and giving her a hug.
" I too need to get dress, and I really should go and do my meditations while it is still very quiet around here." Anakin also got up and went over to his mother and kissed her cheek before following Padme out of the kitchen and up to the sleeping units of the homestead.
Thirty minutes later everybody was just fishing up their breakfast when there was loud alarm began going off.
" Great! I will be right back." Cliegg got up from the table and headed for the communication room so he could answer the emerancy call.
" What is that?" Anakin took a sip of his blue milk.
" That is the alarm from a farmer that needs help, or is under attack, for the past three months farms have been attack by the Tuskin Raiders. So all the farms have set up FEC or TRDF, which stands for Farm Emerancy Call or Tuskin Raid on Farm." Owen explained as Cliegg came back into the kitchen.
" Well a small party of Raiders where spotted from ten miles outside of Mos Eisley Spaceport and there are about five farms out that way so we need to head out Owen." Cliegg came over to the table and informed everyone what was going on.
" Ok just let me get the rifles and then we can head out." Owen got up from the table.
" Um . . . Daddy . . . there is another Raider's Party . . . and they are about twenty miles in the Dune Sea and they are moving this way." Padme felt the small group through the Force.
" Damn, I am not leaving you guys behind all alone." Cliegg looked at Shmi with a worried look on his face.
" I will go with Owen, while Obi-Wan stays here with you and mom, Padme and the kids." Anakin looked at his step-father and Obi-Wan nodded his approval to his idea.
Owen walked back into the room and then him and Anakin left the small group at homestead as they went off to the farmers who had called out for help.
All through the day Padme used the Force to keep track of the small raiding party of the Tuskin Raiders that were traveling through the desert as they were coming closer to their farm.
Little did Padme know that during the day Obi-Wan had been talking to the Jedi Council, mostly to Grand Master Yoda, and he was telling him all about Padme and what he had noticed on how powerful she was in the Force, and how she could use the Force just like a Jedi. He even mention that her mother was a Jedi until she decided to leave the Order so she could marry Cliegg Lars.
And Yoda told Obi-Wan the he did remember Padme's mother and was sad when she left the Order, he was willing to help her keep her relationship with the young man that had stolen her heart, but she would not have it, and she left, knowing that she had made the right choice for herself and her soon-to-be family.
After dinner there was still no word from Owen and Anakin, but Padme knew that they were fine, because she could feel them through the Force and they were still heading for the farm, and they were also tracking the tracks of Bantha's that they saw heading towards one of the farms.
" Good night and I will see you all in the morning, oh . . . and if I feel anything I will let you all know. Love you guys." Padme getting up from the couch she looked at the small group of people who were sitting around the room, before going to each and every one and giving them hugs and kisses on the cheek before heading off to her bedroom.
After spending two hours of tossing and turning Padme finally fell into a dreamless but a very light sleep.
" Padme . . . Padme . . .." a very low whisper came from at the end of her bed.
Padme mumbled something in her sleep before rolling over to her right side.
" Padme . . . Padme . . .." the whisper was just a little louder and it was coming right in her ear.
" What the . . . oh my gods . . . um . . . mommy?" Padme sat up and looked at the low light that was shining right next to the bed.
" I have come to tell you more about me and what your destiny truly is." the ghostly figure began to tell her daughter.
" What do you want to tell me that daddy has already told me, he did tell me that you were a Jedi and that you both were on Antar when you and daddy met." Padme pulled the covers further up on her body.
" Yes what he has told you was true, but I was only a Padawan Learner, and it was my Jedi Master who betrayed me by telling the Jedi Council about your father and I, and it was them who expelled me from the Jedi Order." the ghostly figured looked at the young girl sitting on the bed.
" Man that totally sucks, well I do know that after you and daddy got married nine months later Owen was born, and you were also told not to have any more children because of the difficulty of Owen's birth, and then you got pregnant with me and my late twin brother." Padme crossed her legs.
" Yes well everything is correct except for one thing, your brother is still alive and he was taken away from us because of the Midi-Chlorians in his blood was high count, but not as high as the Chosen One and his Helper." the figure moved closer to the bed and sat down next to Padme.
" Really he is alive, does daddy know that he is still alive?" Padme looked at her mother's ghostly figure sitting next to her.
" No, he does not know that his son is alive and please do not tell him, we were told that he died, but I learned that he was alive after they tested his blood, and it had Midi-Chlorians in it and it was my ex-Master who took him." the ghostly figure looked away from her daughter.
" I see, then why was he tested and I was not?" Padme felt tears coming to her eyes.
" Well at the time it was only the first born males that was being tested." the ghost lady looked at the floor.
" But Owen is the first born so was he ever tested? And why is he not training as a Jedi?" Padme wiped away the tears.
" He was but his Midi-Chlorians count was very low, it was under 20, they said that the count has to be over 200 to even be slightly Force Sensitive. But there are only two people whose count is over 20,000 or close to it." the older lady looked back at her daughter.
" Really and those two people are?" Padme knew who one person was, but there is another person who has a high count too.
" Yes the one with the highest count is called the Chosen One, and the other one with the second highest is called the Helper, which is always a female." the ghostly figure looked at the girl sitting next to her.
" Well I know that Anakin is the Chosen One, but what does the Helper do?" Padme thought for a moment and she then began to realize who the Helper is.
" Anakin, well that does make sense and well the Helper is you Padme. The Chosen One and the Helper have a very powerful bond with each other, they give each other strength and power, and they also help each other emotionally, physically and even mentally." the ghostly figure got up from the bed.
" I knew that we have a that bond because we both can feel it when we are together." Padme watched as the ghostly figure started to dim.
" Yes, you two are meant to be together for you see the only two Jedi that are allowed to be married is the Chosen One and the Helper, and you two must never be separated again, my time is up and I must go, but remember that I am always watching you and I love you , goodbye for now my sweet daughter." the ghostly figure began to fade away.
" I love you too mommy." Padme just sat there and watched her mother's ghost fade way.
Once the room became dark again Padme laid down and began to think about all the things that her mother had told her, she knew one thing that she has to talk to Obi-Wan and ask him what he knows about the Prophecy of the Chosen One and the Helper.
Then the next thing she will have to do is see if her brother is still at the Temple on Coruscant.
Padme closed her eyes and began to drift off to sleep again.
The next morning Padme got up and headed downstairs to the kitchen and when she walked into the room the only person she saw was the one person she needed to talk too . . . Obi-Wan.
" Good morning Obi-Wan, I have to ask you a question about the Prophecy of the Chosen One." Padme walked up to the counter and grabbed a cup so she could pour herself some Caf.
" Um . . . good morning to you too Padme, what I do know is that the Chosen One is to bring balance to the Force, and the Chosen One is Anakin, so why do you ask?" Obi-Wan started to wonder why Padme was asking about the Prophecy unless she knows something more than he does.
" Um . . . well I got a visitor last night and she told me that there is more to the Prophecy, that there are two very powerful Jedi, the Chosen One and the Helper, and they are always together by a powerful bond that cannot be broken. Yes I know Anakin is the Chosen One, but it is me who is the Helper." Padme sat down next to Obi-Wan.
" Really, well you do know that I have to confirm this news with Master Yoda, um . . . who told you this?" Obi-Wan looked at the young lady that was sitting next to him.
" It was the ghost of my mother, oh by the way Owen and Anakin are back." Padme gave Obi-Wan a smirk before getting up from the table, and left Obi-Wan sitting there with a shock look on his face.
Padme headed up to the yard outside, where she met her brother and Anakin there.
Both young men looked very tired so they went into the house got cleaned up before heading towards the bedroom units and climbed into their beds.
Padme left Anakin's room as he was sound asleep, heading to her room she went in climbed into the bed and fell back to sleep until it was time for lunch.
