Lost Chapter 10
Oh and, kidnapping is wrong, but nobody liked them anyways...
"Harry." The black-haired child tensed and froze, waiting for the blow that was sure to come. Instead, the man holding him, wrapped him in a gentle hug.
"Dear Kami, I've been looking everywhere for you." Minato set the shaking child down on his abandoned chair and whirled to glare at the Dursleys.
"What in Merlin's name have you done to my cousin!" Petunia flinched but Vernon's eyes narrowed and his face purpled.
"That freak had it coming to him! When his ungrateful parents offed themselves and he was dumped here!" Minato's fists started sparking.
"Freak!" His eyes and voice became ice cold and the windows shook from the rush of energy.
"Harry is NOT a FREAK! You have treated a child, one placed in your care, harmfully. A magical child nonetheless, no child should be treated like you have treated your nephew!" Minato was practically radiating power.
"My parents killed themselves?" Minato heard the child's whisper and turned, his eyes softening at the sight of his son holding on to Harry's arm.
"THEY AS GOOD AS DID!" Petunia seemed to have recovered her wits and some nerve.
Harry flinched at the screech.
"They did not!" Minato's voice was deadly quiet. "James and Lily died as heroes. Not the worthless trash you seem to be!"
Minato heard Naruto begin to whisper to Harry in the chaos around them and was pleased that they were bonding.
"Daddy is awesome. He saved me from bad people. I think he is saving you too!" Harry gave him a sad smile.
Suddenly, glassware on the table began exploding as Minato lost control of his magic. No child should have had to endure the kind of treatment that the two boys had endured.
With anger written on his face, Minato shot something at the older Dursleys and the two disappeared.
"Dudley. Call your aunt. Tell her that your parents are in jail and that you need to be picked up. I will be taking Harry back to my home. You are not to ever come near my house. Clear?" Dudley nodded, shaking and covered in cuts from the glass.
Minato nodded once and turned towards the two children behind him.
"Are either of you hurt?" Naruto looked at Harry and the two shook their heads.
"Good. I need to heal Dudley and we need to get his aunt here as soon as possible." Naruto looked at Harry and the two nodded again.
"Naruto, can you help Harry collect anything he might want to take with him?" At Naruto's small yes, Minato turned and looked at Harry, who sighed but nodded again.
"I'll be right back you two." With that, Minato turned and with a flick of his wand, the glass started vanishing and the kitchen began repairing itself.
"My name is Naruto." Naruto smiled carefully at Harry who shyly smiled back.
"I'm Harry. I'm five." Naruto smiled wider.
"I'm five too! Maybe we have the same birthdays!" Naruto suddenly grew somber. "Now, Daddy said we need to rescue your stuff. Will you show me where it is?" Harry went a little pale, but nodded decisively.
"Follow me." Harry led Naruto to the cupboard under the stairs.
"This is your room?" Naruto was aghast.
Harry flinched.
"Wow Harry. They really didn't like you, did they?" Naruto was still staring at the cupboard.
"If you don't want to help me, you don't have to, I mean, you're only doing this because your dad is forcing you to." Naruto blinked and looked at Harry confused.
"You mean, you don't really want to be my friend?" Naruto was almost crying.
"You really want to be my friend?" Harry stared at Naruto. "I've never had a friend before." Naruto blinked away the tears.
"Me neither!" Naruto pulled on the door of the cupboard. "This cupboard is locked. Do you know how to open it?" Harry smiled, a real smile this time, and held up a key.
"It's locked from the outside. I can open it with Uncle Vernon's key." Harry undid the lock quickly and soon the two boys were inside.
Before long, the two heard the sounds of footsteps from the dining room and the front door made noise. They stuck their heads out of the cupboard and saw Naruto's dad talking to someone at the door.
"That's Aunt Marge!" Harry hissed quietly."She has a really mean dog!"
Naruto looked on curiously and shrugged.
"DUDLEY!" The boys jumped at the sudden yell of Minato's voice and the subsequent thumping of Dudley's footsteps from the dining room.
The two heard some arguing and the sounds of Dudley leaving and saw Naruto's dad poke his head into the cupboard.
"Almost done here Daddy!" Naruto gave Minato a strong grin.
Minato returned the smile and conjured a small box that he began to put the stuff into.
"Very good boys!" He lifted the two of them easily after he shrunk the box.
"Time for you to see your new home Harry!" Naruto cheered and chattered away about how much Harry would love it.
Meanwhile, Minato's thoughts wandered to another path.
Konohagakure, Hokage Tower
"Hokage-sama!" The Sandaime hokage looked up as Ibiki Morino entered the tower.
"Yes Ibiki?" It had to be important, Ibiki was the head of the Torture and Investigation Department. His job was to gather information and he rarely left the department he headed.
"I just had two people appear in one of my empty holding cells! One of them was a very overweight male and the other a very underweight female." Sarutobi pinched the bridge of his nose between his thumb and his forefinger.
"Wait just a minute where you are." The Sandaime opened a drawer and took out what appeared to be just a normal mirror.
"Minato." Ibiki watched, stunned when the face of a man he thought to be dead, appeared in the mirror.
"Yes Saru?"
"Did you happen to send two people to our T&I department?" Minato smiled a feral grin.
"They deserve nothing less than to suffer for their crimes. You know how I had a cousin through Kushina?" Sarutobi nodded.
"Well, apparently, they died five years ago. I didn't know as I was still trying to find a way into Konoha. They had a son named Harry. Those bastards sitting in your cells abused my second cousin so badly, he didn't know his name until a few weeks ago and slept in a cupboard under the stairs." Sarutobi watched Ibiki's expression go from one of shock, from seeing the Yondaime alive, to one of horror and revulsion at what was being said.
"You know you can always come back if you need it, right Minato?" Minato nodded.
"It won't be anytime soon, but I will come back to visit within ten years." Sarutobi sighed.
"It's for the best." They talked a little bit more and soon hung up as a quiet child started crying in the background.
"Ibiki, I give you permission to do whatever it takes for them to be terrified of ever going near another child." Sarutobi smiled a grim smile as Ibiki left with a feral grin.
"They'll get theirs. Kami help us when Minato returns. I don't know if the village would survive."
