Chapter 11: Origins, Mike

Micheal sat down on a lunch table in the cafeteria of the UNSC South which he had been stationed on for several months. Today's lunch was chowder just like every Tuesday, he looked over the meal and dug in. He sat alone on the table every day of every month he didn't mind it, in fact he was glad he never liked company. He slowly ate his chowder in peace as more marines poured in the cafeteria. It was all going so well until he heard the sound of a plate being set down next to his. He froze and his spoon fell into the chowder, who could that be. Micheal turned to the person next to him to see a young woman smiling at him.

"Hi my names Samantha" she said, Micheal then slowly looked back at his food, picked up his spoon and began to eat once more.

"I'm a Private" she spoke again, Micheal kept on eating his food hoping that she'd go away.

"You're a Spartan right super soldier and all?", why wasn't she going away most marines who tried to talk to him did by now.

"You don't talk much do you?" asked Samantha. Micheal looked up at the girl and shook his head then went back to eating his chowder.

"What's your name?" She asked. Micheal sighed and stood up, he suddenly lost his appetite. He grabbed his plate and headed away from that girl, she was annoying and he needed to get away from her and he hoped to never see her again. Once he dumped his plate in the trash he headed towards his room. When he got there he flew himself onto the bed and let out a big sigh.

Micheal woke up to the sound of knocking, he groaned and got up walking towards the door. He pressed the open button and the door opened, he looked to see the marine named Samantha holding a bowl of chowder up to him.

"I saw that you didn't finish your food so I brought you some" she said with a warm smile. Micheal stared at her waiting for her to leave but she didn't she just stood there smiling.

"May I help you" said Micheal quietly. As soon as he said this Samantha dropped the plastic bowl.

"Holy shit he talked to me" she whispered.

"What?" He asked a bit confused but it was to late for she had already ran off. Micheal looked down at the once delicious warm chowder, he kicked the bowl across the hall and went back inside his room.

Samantha ran to her friend Lucy who was most likely at her room, why did she ran? He talked to her she should have said something back not run away like an embarrassed school girl. She ran into the room as the door flew open, sitting down on the bed was Lucy who was looking at her com pad.

"So how did it go?" Asked Lucy giving Samantha a big smile. Lucy was Samantha's childhood friend.

"I ran" said Samantha.

"What?!" Yelled Lucy standing up.

"He talked to me and I got scared so I ran" said Samantha.

"Are you for real?" Asked Lucy looking at Samantha in anger.

"I know I'm sorry, I just thought he'd never talk, so when he did I freaked out" said Samantha looking down in shame.

"You've been wanting to get inside this guy's pants ever since he got on board the ship. Hell I even caught you masterbaiting to a picture of him you took without him knowing" said Lucy punching Samantha in the shoulder.

"Owe, you said you wouldn't talk about that ever again" said Samantha.

"You had one job" said Lucy.

"Shut up its harder then it looks" said Samantha.

"I know that's why I signed you up for something special" said Lucy

Michael was thrown through a window by a hunter, it was really posses off since Micheal killed its partner. Michael fired a couple of rounds just to make it even more angry and as it fired its Canon Michael rolled out of the way. The Hunter broke through the rock wall of the building and brought down its shield onto Micheal's arm, he could hear the bone break as the Hunter crushed his arm. He got up as quickly as he could jumping onto the Hunter and pulling it down. He ripped open its chest plate and shoved a grenade into it, he jumped off and ran for cover. The Hunter exploded and the millions of worms it was made of rained from the sky.

"Yuri is the chip alright?" Asked Micheal.

"Its fine" said the AI with it's Russian accent.

"And my arm?" Asked Micheal.

"Almost every bone in it is broken and some internal bleeding" it said. Yuri was a genderless AI it was able to change the gender of its voice but preferred a female voice. "We have several Phantoms inbound as well as a whole company of Spartans from the UNSC Phoenix".

"Why?" Asked Micheal.

"To destroy any hard copys in the base, you've got the files on the chip and with more covenant inbound the UNSC needs those hard Colts destroyed" Said Yuri.

"Their just sending more people to their deaths" said Micheal grimly. He looked up to see multiple pelican, he ran to the first one to land trying to fight back the pain that came from his arm. The pelicans back door opens and a whole team of Spartans rushed out, the first two to come out were shot down immediately they were the first Spartans Micheal had seen in a year and they were dead.

"Where you going" said one of the Spartans as Micheal jumped onto the pelican an as it lifted off.

"I need to get this chip to the UNSC South" said Micheal, the pilot sighed.

"I ain't paid enough for this" said the pilot. When they got to the ship Micheal was forced by the doctors to go to the medical bay even tho he said it was nothing. When he got there and took his seat he saw that strange girl heading his way with a com pad.

"Hey you" she said.

"Why are you here why aren't the marines on the planet helping evac civilians?" Asked Micheal looking down at her.

"Um no we're heading to Reach actually were in slipspace right now" she said looking down at the com pad.

"What?! What about the planet?" He asked.

"Yep" she said calmly.

"Yep?! What does that mean!" He asked, he stood up towering over her. "Every marine on that mission I was on died just for a stupid chip". He shoved her backwards only to have quickly grab him and fly him back onto the chair.

"Now you lol here you big dummy head this is the first time I see you show any emotion and its anger and its dumb alright" she said, she quickly opened a bottle of pills and shoved the pills into Micheal's mouth. "Now wait here as I get the doctor". Micheal watched the short girl walk off in shock, as soon as she disappeared he swallowed the pills. Soon the doctor came back and they began the surgery after it was done it was clear Micheal could not fight and that when they got to Reach he'd be able to again.

The next he sat down next to Samantha and Lucy,

One year later

Micheal never thought he'd be doing this fighting in a wore against a group of religious Italians called the covenant. Micheal was seventeen but when he took off hisI'd helmet he looked like he was at least twenty five. He'd been stations on New Harmony, once again kicking asses and taking names.

"Fuck yeah I killed my first covie!" Yelled a marine shooting a grunt in the head.

"Calm down Private it's just a grunt" said another.

"Sargent" said a marine known as LT. Chuck, looking at Micheal.

"Micheal looked at the LT. Through the visor of his helmet. "Don't try LT. Satan doesn't speak" said the Marine. Micheal clenched his fist, out of all the stupid nicknames they gave him Satan.

"Well come on we got more covies" said Chuck. Micheal looked back to see Samantha running up to him.

"Hey Micheal have you ever...liked someone?" Asked Samantha looking up at him.

"I like you" said Micheal walking forward.

"No I mean like..." she was cut off by the sound of an explosion then the sound of plasma ripping through the air. Micheal quickly pulled out his assault rifle and pointed it in the direction of the noise. It had come from ahead of them where the other marines were.

"Lets go" said Micheal running ahead with Samantha towing behind him. They quickly took cover behind a fallen tree next to Samantha. After using up all of his assault rifle ammo after being there for an hour Micheal pulled out his SMG and fired a couple of rounds at a brute charging them, killing it. He then focused on the crowd of covenant soldiers coming for them. He looked at Samantha firing her battle rifle at a couple of grunts taking them out easily, he had to admit the Marine had guts and skill and for the first time he felt a grin creep onto his face. Which soon turned to a smile but that smile faded as he saw a bolt of plasma struck her chest causing her to fall back and scream in pain. Micheal ran towards Samnatha as fast as he could and kneeld down next to her.

"M-Mike I-I...(cough cough)" said Samnatha before Micheal placed a finger over her lips but she quickly shoved it away. "Micheal please!" This time Micheal didn't do anything he was shocked by the fact that she used his full name instead of Mike or Mikey or is nickname of his number, but his name.

"Yes" he said softly this time for the first time in a year his voice showed emotion towards her.

"Please don't stay like this, heartless, emotionless monster. Instead live life be happy, have fun, live life as a human being because I love you Micheal from the bottom of my heart I just was never able to tell you the truth, so please...be...human" said Samantha before her voice faded into nothing and her eyes closed for good. For the first time Micheal cried, he felt something, a pain in his chest he never felt before and he didn't like it. Micheal looked around him they were winning the covenant were falling back. But he knew it wouldn't be like this for long, soon covenant reinforcements would come then the UNSC numbers will fall and the Planet along with them. The planet like every other human colony the covenant attacked will die and be glass and become lifeless forever.

Back on the ship Micheal comforted Lucy in her room as she cried onto his shoulder he felt her pain and just let her cry there until she looked up at him. She looked into his brown eyes with sadness and something else but before he could tell what it was she pinned him onto the bed and there lips connected. He was so lost yet for some odd reason happy and his penis began to grow as she laid on top of him. He grabbed her waist and she stuck her tongue into his mouth, Micheal thinks was kissing and did the same and received a moan from her. She placed her hand on top of his chest, they laid there for several minutes, their tongues fight over Dominicans in their mouths. Lucy pulled away and sat up on Micheal's crotch she noticed his erection and unzipped his pants skidding it off then doing the same with his underwear then began to strip herself. Micheal couldn't help but stare at her breast as she positioned herself of his erection then she lowered herself onto his length taking in all nine inches of it. Micheal's exploded open as this happened she didn't notice this but he was freaking out it was so strange but it felt so good. Her hips began to rock back and forth and Micheal let out a grunt she smiled at him and moaned. She bounced up and down and Michael found her breast hypnotic, this was all so new and scary but he was loving it. He then brought her head down close to his and kissed her, he was shocked by what he just did it was as if he had no control over his body. Soon she picked up her pace as she road him faster and faster her moans getting loader and this feeling was unloading up inside of him until it just exploded and she fell asleep in his arms.

Micheal woke up to see Lucy staring at her scars, he shifted a bit so he could see her better and her hand tightened around his arm. "Please don't leave, it's been so lonely without her" said Lucy looking into his eyes. He just looked at her and nodded. "You talking in your sleep" she started to play with on of his scars it was still new so it tickled. "Somthing about ODST and a man saying you shouldn't join the UNSC". He didn't know what made him do this but he wrapped his arm around her and kissed her forehead.

"It's alright Lexington" he said softly, she chuckled and kissed his cheek.

"Call me by my first name Mike, Lucy" she said with a soft smile. "And I should call you?".

"Mike" he said if he was gonna be human he needed to throw his old life away.

The next Micheal couldn't keep her hands off of her they had sex ten times that week, even if Lucy tried to stop him she ended up giving in this experience was amazing to him he had never felt it before. He couldn't let go of her every night he snuck into her room and cuddle this had gone on for two months before Micheal was sent to Reach. For the first time he would be on a team, and one that has made a name for itself.

Present

"My name is Philip Davis Lexington, a helljumper, and a corporal and apart of the UNSC like my mother before me, so I'm pretty sure I can take on a split lip" said and ODST with a bottle of Vodka in his hand. He was trash talking and elite and John so happened to be walking in on this.

"That's Lexington, an ODST who will be joining your mission, sir" said a marine who was showing John around. "He's unnaturally strong as well but that's why he's an ODST". (HINT HINT)
