So, I know what you all will say and I know that what I've done is pretty unforgivable, not updating this for more than 2 years. I've been really really busy. Seriously. I never thought high school life would be this difficult. I gave my O levels this May and currently I sat for my precams this December and I already have my AS level exams looming over me next May and I'm really really scared. My 10th grade year was literally a blur with me trying to desperately cram everything into my brain. And another thing was that I was suffering from a severe case of writer's block and I kept on pushing it back and going like 'yeah I have time, I can write it later' and went to the point where it became really difficult to get a chapter out. I'm really sorry guys but this won't happen again. I know its hard for you guys but please stick with me and this story. And for all my You Fill My Heart readers, I'm really sorry to say this but You Fill My Heart will most likely be discontinued. Either that, or its going to be in an indefinite HIATUS. I'm really really sorry guys. I really am, believe me. Another thing I'd like to point out is that I'm sure my writing's changed from 3 years back so this chapter might seem a bit different but I hope it makes up for me not posting for 2 years. I'm really sorry again guys but I assure you, the next chapter won't take years. I'M REALLY SORRY AGAIN! Please read and review!

Natsu watched Lucy twirl while trying some designer dresses, her smile never left her face. Every shop they went, at least three humongous shopping bags came and Natsu had to patiently carry them with a smile while emitting a very dangerous aura to stop guys from flirting with Lucy.

Those bastards needed to be run over by a truck!

"Ah! My lady, you look like a princess!" one of the salesmen of Heart Kreuz praised while Lucy looked at herself in the mirror, she was wearing a strapless frilly, red dress with red ankle strap heels.

"Ahem," Natsu coughed glaring dangerously at the salesmen who cowered in fear while Lucy remained unfazed and continued to admire herself in the mirror.

"Natsu! What do you think?" Lucy asked with a smile and Natsu pondered about his reply.

Without a second thought, he blurted out, "You look really pretty!" He wanted to gag himself after saying that but the hopeful look that appeared on her brown pupils said otherwise.

"Please pack these!" she announced to the salesmen who seemed ecstatic when Lucy handed him her credit card; another three bags were added to the already humongous collected.

"Dammit! Luce, gimme five bucks, won't you?" Natsu asked desperately standing in front of a claw crane machine which was packed with stuffed animals while Lucy stood to the side with her arms crossed in front of her chest, tapping her leg impatiently.

"Don't you mean five more bucks?! Honestly, Natsu, I'm not gonna give you any more money!" Lucy snapped and Natsu started panicking.

"L – Look Luce, I'll pay you back real soon 'kay? I'm gonna get my salary from Gramps in a couple of days so, I'll pay you back! Promise!" Natsu tried to convince but it really didn't look like Lucy was buying it and the suspense was killing him when Lucy heaved an exasperated sigh before saying, "Fine! Just five more bucks, not a penny more! And this time, you gotta get something! ANYTHING!"

Natsu's eyes lit up and he flashed one of his toothy grins before taking the money and putting it in the machine slot and yelling, "Yosh! I'm all fired up!"

Lucy closed her eyes shaking her head while muttering, "Honestly…is he really a university student?" when Natsu literally screamed, "LUCY! I GOT IT!" and just then, Natsu brought out a blue stuffed cat out of the machine.

"Waah! It's so cute!" Lucy exclaimed hugging the cat.

"His name's Happy! Have it!" Natsu grinned.

Lucy blinked. "Nope! It belongs to the both of us!"

Natsu rubbed the back of his head with a toothy grin while Lucy was twirling around with Happy when suddenly….

"Wendy, look! Isn't that cool?"

"Yeah! Let's go there, Romeo!"

Natsu turned around to the source of the two overly-happy voices and felt his jaw drop to the floor.

No way...

"Hey, isn't that Wendy-chan?...and….oh! That's Romeo-kun!" Lucy gasped while Natsu was having a fit of pure shock.

It was Romeo Conbolt, his teacher Macau Conbolt's thirteen year old son who was a very big fan of Natsu to the point he referred to him as his 'idol' but why the hell was he with Wendy?!

And dressed as if they were having a date?!

Wait, how did Lucy even know Romeo?

"Macau-san and Cana are drinking buddies with Wakaba-san, so I met Romeo-kun like that," Lucy explained as if reading Natsu's mind but Natsu had more important questions which needed answering now.

With a pissed off expression, he started walking towards the two when Lucy yanked him by his scarf asking, "What the hell are you doing?"

"Luce, that kid's flirting with Wendy, my li'l sister!" Natsu cried out but only received a kick on the knee instead. "I can't believe you Natsu! They're having a date, they look so happy! And you want to ruin it for them?" Lucy countered while Natsu limped from the pain.

"But…but…she's my little sister…." Natsu muttered weakly and received another kick and a dangerous "SHUT IT" from a seething Lucy.

"I know! Let's stalk them!" Lucy yelled while the still-limping Natsu could only manage a small "Huh?" before being dragged away by an overly-joyous Lucy, leaving all the bags in the care of Yajima-san, the owner of the ramen shop everyone knew about.

"Let's have some crepes! I want a strawberry one!" Wendy said excitedly pointing at a brown shop and Romeo shot her grin before grabbing her hand and taking her there.

Natsu watched with a dead heart as his sister and Romeo conversed animatedly, he just wanted to curl up and fling himself off a cliff at the moment.

"Look! Wendy's about feed Romeo-kun!" Lucy sighed dreamily staring at the young teens from behind a tree. A vein popped in his temples as Natsu yelled out, "I can't take this anymore!" and proceeded to jump and teach Romeo a lesson when Lucy yanked him by his scarf again.

"Listen here Natsu," Lucy started while the said boy sulked pulling at the grasses.

"Romeo-kun is a nice kid, so you don't have to worry. It's just a date and both of them look really happy together! And I'm sure Wendy-chan just wasn't sure how to tell you about him so she never brought him up. You shouldn't worry that much, things like this happens ok?" Lucy coaxed but Natsu remained unfazed, ferociously pulling at the grass.

"You're destroying the scenery!" Lucy cried out accusingly and watched as Natsu crossed his arms in front of his chest sulking all the while.

"What if he makes her cry?" he muttered acidly.

Lucy stifled a laugh as she replied, "You can kick his ass then,"

That seemed to do the trick.

"Oh yeah! I'm gonna make him regret ever laying eyes on Wen!" Natsu shouted, pumping his fists in the air.

Lucy rolled her eyes. "Fine, fine,"

"So Natsu how's your date with Lucy going?" Loke asked through the phone while Natsu stared at the said blonde who was busy ogling at books.

"It ain't a date, dammit," He muttered reluctantly watching the blonde who careful eyes.

Natsu swore he heard Gajeel snicker from the other side.

"Dammit Loke, where the hell are you?" Natsu growled but instead received gleeful laughter in response.

Loke, Gajeel, Grim Reaper Gray, Elfman and Jellal were hanging out at Take-Over restaurant and they seemed to have made it their personal mission to make Natsu's life a hell at the moment.

"Anyways, spill the beans already," Jellal said through the phone while Natsu scratched the back of his neck muttering, "What beans?"

Loke released an exasperated sigh before grabbing the phone. "Natsu, you have been invited on your first date with none other than Lucy Heartfilia, one of the most beautiful girls in this whole city and honestly why she asked you out is just beyond me but whatever. SPILL THE BEANS ALREADY, DAMMIT!"

Natsu frowned. "Ugh. Fine then! Lucy's been shopping non-stop like a freak today and I've been carrying her bags like her servant. And then we saw Wendy and she was hanging around with that Romeo kid and I swear I'll kill that guy if he makes her cry and now Luce's busy ogling at books and I just wanna go home….."

Loke face-palmed on the other line.

"Oi, Salamander. Have you been complimenting her or doing some shit like that?" Gajeel asked.

"Uhh…no…."

"What did you buy her?"

"….nothing…..well…except for a stuffed cat….oh shit that was with her money…."

"Did you give her a treat yet?"

"She gave me one!"

"Do you even have any money?!"

"Nope,"

Natsu swore he heard Gray burst into tears on the other line.

Loke was literally pulling at his own hair in frustration as he shouted, "Natsu! You're on a freaking date! You gotta be more responsible!"

"You have to say things like: 'I must be a snowflake because I've fallen for you'!" Jellal intervened.

"OVER MY DEAD BODY!" Natsu shouted.

"NATSU! YOU GOTTA BE A MAN!" Elfman screamed from the other side and Natsu swore he went deaf momentarily.

Silence past.

Gray grabbed the phone from Elfman before saying, "Natsu, listen to me,"

Natsu resisted the urge to throw his phone down the drain.

"Do you care about Lucy?"

Natsu rolled his eyes. "Of course I do!"

"Do you appreciate her?"

"Mmhmm, yeah,"

"You think she's pretty?"

"She's beautiful!"

.

.

.

.

All the guys burst out laughing on the other side while Natsu screamed, "WHAT THE HELL DID I JUST SAY?!"

After Gray had recovered from his laughing fit, he took the phone again.

"You there, Natsu? So, anyways, you acknowledge her for who she is?"

Natsu scratched his head. "What the hell is that supposed to mean? Lucy is Lucy,"

Loke released a contented sigh as Jellal shook his head and Gajeel grinned. This idiot was already falling, wasn't he?

"If that's the case, then you should show her your appreciation and how much she means to you." Gray advised.

Natsu furrowed his eyebrows as he continued gazing at the blonde girl. "I…gotta…show it to her?" he asked slowly.

"Yeah. She means a lot to you, doesn't she? She's your freaking wife for crying out loud! So you obviously have to reveal your feelings!"

Natsu had the urge to just reveal the whole story behind the whole 'marriage' thing but held his tongue instead; who knew what would happen to Grim Reaper Gray when he'd find out?

"I'm hanging up now," Natsu muttered instead and cut off the line before placing his phone in his pocket.

And as he gazed at the happy blonde who was carrying about fifteen books in her arms and was walking his way, he decided to ignore the odd beating of his heart.

For now at least.

Meanwhile…

"Atlas is back from scouting, Boss," a hooded man stood in front of the mahogany desk eyeing the man who was sitting on the leather chair, a teacup on his hand.

"So, did he find it?" the man asked in a deep voice.

The hooded man nodded vigorously. "Oh yeah, definitely. With this, we'll be able to overthrow them, the evidence is too strong. But Boss, the thing is…."

The man raised an eyebrow. "What's wrong, Zed?"

Zed scratched his neck. "Boss, we've been tailing Sting Eucliffe but there's some new…well…developments at the moment."

"Is it something about the Heartfilia girl?"

Zed shook his head. "I wish it was that but apparently someone else has been mixed in the whole fiasco. We've just found out who Lucy Heartfilia has been married to. And, well….you won't be too happy about it, Boss. Not to mention, Sting is already tailing this guy too."

"What's the kid's name?"

Zed released a deep sigh.

"Natsu. Natsu Dragneel,"

And he watched as his Boss's expression changed into one of pure horror and shock and wondered if he really did do the right thing in telling him.

"You sure you're gonna be fine, Luce?" Natsu asked eyeing the blonde who waved her hand while laughing. "Don't worry, I just need to change this one book. And the bookstore isn't even all that far, just a few blocks away. I'll meet you back at Yajima-san's place and we can go and see the rainbow cherry blossoms then!"

Natsu nodded. "'Kay, I'll take these books then! See ya, Lucy!"

Lucy nodded, her book tucked in her arms as she waved at him before crossing the street. "Yeah!"

"I am so sorry!" the shopkeeper repeated for the umpteenth time while packaging her book and Lucy had an embarrassed smile on as she replied, "It's fine really! You're just making me feel bad now!"

The shopkeeper handed her the package and to Lucy's amazement, gave her a 15% discount and Lucy left the shop sighing dreamily.

"I have Maya's Forest now~ Levy-chan is going to be so jealous!" Lucy sang cheerily as she walked across the pavement, her boots making soft clicks.

The sky was a beautiful orange filled with soft white clouds and the wind was picking up by the time Lucy passed the park located at Town Center. Her blonde locks swayed in the evening breeze and she averted her gaze to the blooming orchids which looked like they were dancing. So lost in thought, Lucy reacted rather excitedly when she bumped against someone and her package went tumbling onto the pavement.

"So sorry, I had no idea – " Lucy started quickly, bending down to pick it up but instead found herself staring into a pair of icy blue pupils and spiky blonde hair.

"No, it's my fault. I apologize," the blonde said in a smooth tone picking up her package and all of a sudden, it seemed as though the world was moving sluggishly.

Something about his eyes was alluring to Lucy and words died on her lips as he placed the package on her arms softly before meeting her gaze again.

His lips quirked up into a light smirk and he tucked one of her loose strands behind her ear, his fingers brushing across her skin leaving her to shiver.

"Be careful," his smile was crisp and perfect. "Lucy,"

And he walked past her leaving the Heartfilia who stood very still, her arms trembling on her sides.

Only one thought evaded her.

How does he know my name?

But unbeknownst to her, a certain spiky pink-head stood gaping at the scene and even more so when icy blue eyes met his and the world seemed to still.

The arrogant smirk from fourteen years back spread across the blonde's face as he walked, his steps confident and perfect, and Natsu felt a bead of sweat run down his forehead.

That spiky blonde hair, that scar across his eyebrow, that blue crystal earring dangling but most of all, that confident smirk across his face…..

No way…..

"….Sting….Eucliffe…."

And as he passed by, two words escaped his lips which caused Natsu's eyes to widen to slits.

"She's mine,"
