A/N: So here's that update that I promised but never fulfilled. (*cough cough) Sorry about that but it's been just crazy my sat was this Saturday so I hope you can understand the stress I was under. Anyway again thanks to the guest who left this suggestion, I don't know if it was for me and I am sorry if I am steeling your idea. Hopefully you can forgive me, Enjoy!

Holly's P.O.V.:

"Greg, Greg, GREG!"

I started hyperventilating. It was pitch black in our room. Only the soft cold breeze and the faint sound of honking horns made me cognizant of the fact that it was only a dream and that I had woken up. I started feeling around for Greg in the bed. He wasn't there. I again quickly became nervous until I heard the water running. I turned my head and saw the light flooding in from the small crack under the bathroom door. I sat up and waited for Greg to come out.

I had this really bad dream. We were walking across the street and then this car came out of no ware. Greg pushed me out of the way but got hit. He was laying on the street almost lifeless. It was really creepy sight. But no one would help him. I kept calling his name but he wasn't responding he just was just smiling at me like a daze. I started crying I couldn't lose him, not yet. I don't know what brought on the panic attack. It was really weird.

Greg's P.O.V.:

I had to get up, it was just too hot in the room. We didn't turn on the A/C yet so the only source of cold air was the fan and an open window. No matter what you do in New York City it will always be hot once spring sets in. I walked to the bathroom and started to feel around for the light switch. I finally found it and turned on the light. I started to splash my face with water. It felt so good and it was such a relief.

I walked out to find Holly sitting up in bed. I approached slowly because she might be up but in like a sleep walking state of mind.

"Holly, sweetie?"

"Greg!" She threw her arms around me and pulled me close.

"What's wrong, did something happen?"

"No…Well yes I had this bad dream about something happening to you."

"Look at me I am perfectly fine. It was just a bad dream come on lets go back to bed."

Pulling her close I laid down and tried to sleep. I wonder what could have sparked such a dream.

The Next morning….

I was still trying to sleep especially after being up half the night with Holly. Every once in a while she would start whimpering. I was a light sleeper so this would quickly wake me. This was a part of life though, you had to be there for your girlfriend. I looked at my wrist watch and it was 6:30 in the morning. I slowly got my arm out from under her and got out of bed. I went to go get coffee and make breakfast. As sleepy as I was I wasn't going to get anymore sleep.

When I walked back into the room Holly was holding on to her pillow again. I went and sat next to her. I shook her shoulder a few times while quietly calling out her name. She finally woke up and had a smile on her face. I was a little unsure of the way she was looking at me. It was like she was overly happy to see me. I don't know it was just an expression I hadn't seen on her before.

"Holly?"

"Yeah Greg?"

"How are you feeling after last night? You had me really worried."

"Yeah I am feeling a lot better."

"Want to tell me what was going on?"

"I just had a really bad dream about you and something bad happening."

"Are you sure you are feeling better?"

"Yeah. I don't know what sparked it. I think it just has to do with nerves, you know? I mean we are going public soon and you still have to meet my parents and vice versa. It's just a lot to think about and I think it just scared me a little."

"Okay well let's have some coffee and talk about what we are doing today."

"Sounds like a plan."

We talked for a good hour before I got up and put the dishes away while Holly went to go shower. When she came out she looked a little bit more relaxed, which was a good sign. I went in and showered. We left the apartment around 9:00 to go to the library. Holly wanted to get some books and I was looking for a few movies. We were going to go see the new X-men movie and Holly being Holly had yet to see any of them. I was on a mission to educate her about the X-men.

At the library. Holly's P.O.V.:

We walked to the library. We were pretty happy and went together to get everything we wanted. I got my books to read, and then we started walking towards the movie section. Greg wanted to get some of the movies that had to do with the movie we were going to go see in a little bit. Once Greg picked up his movies we started heading for the counter. Just as we rounded the corner we saw Nicole and her boyfriend Don. Wow that was awkward. I know that Nicole and I have our differences but I still didn't want to see her and her boyfriend making out in the middle of the library. I pushed Greg back around the corner but it was too late Nicole had already seen us. So we waved and Greg had to stifle a laugh. Then we left the library. Wow that was even worse than I imagined. We talked on our way home, about how awkward that was and as well as what we were doing for the Fourth of July party.

"So what happened back there?"

"Where?"

"At the library with Nicole."

"Nothing it was just really weird running into her at the library like that."

"Fair enough, but when will I meet her personally?"

"At the Fourth of the July party."

"Alright, so what are we doing for the party?"

"I don't know probably bring some chips and cake or something."

"Sounds good to me. Where is it?"

"It's at my boss's house on Long Island."

"Okay. Hey listen I wanted to talk to you about something."

"Yeah what's up?"

"Well my mom called me the other day and well she heard you in the background."

"And what's wrong? Does she know that it's me?"

"Well she knows that I have a girlfriend that I was spending time with, but she doesn't know that I live with said person and she doesn't know who it is."

"Okay. So I will meet her and I am sure that I she will remember me and have no problem with me."

"I know you are right. So when do you want to go back and meet them?"

"I don't know, we should also probably plan to meet my mother and dad."

"Okay fine." Greg leaned in and kissed me lightly on the lips. We went inside the apartment and I put down my books on the side table. Greg went over to make lunch for us. We had Caesar salad with a light vinaigrette. It was delightful. We went over to the couch and started to watch the X-men movies in order. I have to say they weren't that bad. The guy who plays wolverine is really hot. Any way I was snuggled against Greg and continued to watch the movie. When the first 2 movies where over we took a break and I pulled out my laptop. I wanted to plan our trip home to visit our families. I was pretty sure that I wanted to go home from the 21st to the 28th. It was the middle of July my parents and Greg's parents should be home, my sister and Greg's brother should be home.

"Hey sweetie?"

"Yeah Holly?"

"I wanted to know if you could get off from the 21st to 28th, so we could go home to meet our parents."

"I will go put in for it on Monday and see if I get it otherwise it should be good. If I get it we should honestly talk to your mom and mine."

"Okay that sounds good." We got up and went to get ready for dinner. Greg apparently had a surprise for me. So I played along and followed his requests.

Greg's P.O.V.:

I wanted to really surprise her. I wanted to take her out for now. I know that I really had nothing to prove but I just wanted to treat her special because I loved her and I wanted everything to work out between us. I love her so much I don't even know how to explain how much I love her. I was really excited to meet her parents and introduce her to my parents. Yeah I am sure that they know me still and that my parents remember Holly, but there is a different sensation and feeling about introducing her as my girlfriend. Anyway tonight was just another way for us to bond and have fun.

We hung out after dinner and went to bed later that night. It was peaceful. We turned on the A/C tonight so I was able to really sleep. Holly was holding on to me a little tighter than usual. I think that she was still a little shaken from her dream last night. I held her close and kissed her forehead a few times. I finally fell asleep and realized that tomorrow I would return to work and have to deal with all the paper work and deals that came along with video game designs.

I woke up early the next morning and went to work after kissing Holly goodbye. She didn't have to go to work as early as me. She got some promotion and didn't have to be in work till 8 where I had to be there at 7 still. She was looking better when I left for work. At lunch I called my mom.

"Hey Mom."

"Hey Greg. How are you?"

"I am fine I wanted to talk to you about coming home."

"We really missed you and would love it if you came home."

"Great, how is everyone doing though?"

"Fine. Dad is still working, Rodrick is still trying to make in music. Manny is on summer break, you being a teenager."

"Sounds like everything is good."

"It is. So when should we be expecting?"

"I am pretty sure I am coming home on the 21st of July for a week."

"That's amazing. I will have your old room all ready to go. I haven't really touched it much since you left for college."

"Thanks mom." After a few moments of silence. "Hey mom can I ask you a question?"

"Yeah but me first."

"Okay, go ahead."

"Who was in the background on the phone the other day?"

"I told you it was my girlfriend."

"Is it serious Greg?"

"MOM!"

"What I just wanted to know if my little boy is growing up. A serious girlfriend would ground you and make you realize all the hard work that comes with relationships."

"I know you are right."

"So who is she?"

"I actually wanted to know what if I bring home when I come on the 21st."

"I love to meet her. So does that mean it's serious?"

"Yeah mom it is. I really like her, maybe even love her. I think I want to tell her I love her."

"That's wonderful Greg. So do I know who she is?"

"Yeah we went to high school together. She is truly amazing."

"That sounds absolutely perfect Greg. I will see you soon."

"Mom one last question."

"Yeah."

"Well would you freak out if I asked if she could stay in my room with me when we come?"

"No I think that it is perfectly fine. Just no funny business."

"MOM please stop."

"Okay I will talk to you later."

"Okay mom, bye talk to you later."

That was a little awkward to say the least. Well at least mom isn't going to freak out. I think I will be the one to freak out right now. I am nervous in so many ways. I told my mom I love this girl. I mean I know that I told Holly I love you and yeah she said it, I don't think we have said it as in one of us is in love with the other. I am going to go home and tell her. I think that it is so important for Holly to know. We can also plan to go on vacation now. I will have to tell Holly this when I get home.

Holly's P.O.V.:

I was really sleepy, but I had to go on living life. Everything was great. We were going to meet co-workers and probably my parents soon, as long as we could get off. I went to my boss and requested to get off that week. He said he would let me know by the end of the day. During lunch I went to talk to my parents.

"Hey mom and dad."

"Hey Holly."

"How are you?"

"We are great, how about you?"

"I am fine."

"So when are we going to see you?"

"Hopefully soon. I put in to get off the week of the 21st and we will see what happens."

"That's great."

"Anyway I wanted to talk to you guys about something."

"What's going on honey?"

"Nothing I just… It's that…I am dating someone and I want them to meet you."

"Aw honey that is great."

"So you are not mad?"

"Sweetie we know you are a grown women and will start dating, we are happy for you."

"That's great. Mom can I talk to you alone for a few more minutes?"

"Sure sweetie."

"Dad I love you, I will talk to you later. Anyway mom, I really like this guy and well I think I might be in love with him."

"Aww. I am so happy for you. Does he treat you right?"

"Yes mom he is really the perfect gentlemen."

"So does that mean I will be meeting him also, or are you coming on your own?"

"Well I think I want you guys to meet him."

"That's great sweetie we will see you soon."

"Okay mom. Thanks I will talk to you later."

That was a little easier than I thought. I am so happy my parents are willing to meet him. I just hope that now we can actually get off that weekend. It would be perfect if we could meet my parents and his. Then everything would be even better. I just need to make sure that everything goes exactly as planned and that there are no surprises. I think that I also need to make it clear to Greg that our parents don't know we are living together. I just needed to get this time off.

I worked the rest of the day. It was long and exhausting. There was just so much paper work to get done. I don't understand how people really do this. I am so glad that this isn't our normal routine. We had a huge contract with some outside company. There was a lot to get done but once it's over I will be free of paper work. I called Greg before I left the office.

"Hey I am on my way home now."

"Great I am just about to leave the office."

"Good so I will see you soon?"

"Yup, oh by the way I got the time off."

"That's great. Oh crap I forget to ask. I just left the building I am going to go back."

"Alright fine then I will see you when we get home. I have something for you for dinner tonight."

"You know Greg you have to stop spoiling me."

"I could never stop."

"Alright I love you. I will see you soon."

I went back inside. I found my boss waiting at my desk, he was writing something down. I almost never saw him so calm and willing to leave notes.

"Hey sorry I left."

"Don't be you were off the clock. Listen I wanted to tell you, that you got the time off."

"That's perfect thank you so much."

"Please don't be ridiculous Holly you work so hard."

"Thank you again."

"So what are you going to do for the week?"

"I was going to go home, you know visit mom and dad."

"That's sounds good. Oh Holly by the way the Fourth of July party starts at 5. I will give you the address tomorrow. One more thing, the application you filled out for overtime was approved."

"Thank you so much. I will see you tomorrow Richard."

"No problem have a nice night Holly."

Everything was just falling into place perfectly. I was so happy. Something that always got me uneasy was the topic of money. I know it's weird but Greg and I never talked about money ever. I still don't know how much he makes. We sold the old car and got a Honda Accord. But everything from the rent to the car payments to the bills was paid by him. We don't share a bank account but I never have paid for anything. It makes me feel guilty in a lot of ways but at the same time I think it makes an even better boyfriend. Anyway I finally got home and was so happy to see Greg standing by the dining table with dinner ready. It was a memorable sight.

"Greg I love this."

"I would hope that you do."

"I got the time off."

"That's good news. So I guess we will have to make plans to go home now."

"Well I talked to my mom and dad. They were excited for us to come home, I just have to call them to confirm because I talked to them before I got off for sure."

"Great. Well actually I talked to my mom today. She is happy to see us as well."

"That's perfect. Mmh. This food is amazing. How did I get you, an amazing cook, and a loving boyfriend? I really did hit the lottery."

"I am glad you like it. Holly can I tell you something?"

"Sure."

"I know we say it all the time but I want to tell you it again."

"Okay what's going on?"

"I wanted to make sure you know that I do not only love you, I am in love with you."

"I know Greg, I love you so much."

"I just had to make sure you knew."

We spent the rest of the night just talking and relaxing. We watched the next X-men movie. Tomorrow we would start looking into the tickets and how we were going home. That night was just perfect. I love this it was what everyone wanted.
