"I just got an idea." Troy groaned as the awful music once again slit the silence open. He stared at the cherry blossoms in front of him. His mind immediately rushed to Emma, and he knew that that was it. Holding his head against the shrieking sounds, he stuffed his morpher into his jacket and began staggering as far as he could to the place where he knew Emma would be to get her peace and quiet.

~X~

Emma could barely stand upwards as the music blared from a far distance, but crashed into her world of silence.

She was in the same meadow as when Troy found her, hoping that she could find some peace connecting with nature, and her mom. But all she got was karma, and more terrible music.

Her head could've killed her, she thought. The music was enhanced from before, and sounded louder than ever to the point that her head was now spinning enough to knock her off her feet. She felt lightheaded as she did her best to block out the noise, but to no avail. The sound charged through the strength of her body and she couldn't help but fall to her knees.

She knew that the others were out there fighting like she should've been doing. She knew she couldn't be weak at a time like this, no matter how hard it defied her. She had to go help everyone…everyone…

On the other end, Troy was now doing his best and running through the woods. He had to find Emma before the sound potentially got worse than it already was.

When he got to that same green expanse, he wasn't shocked, but worried, about what he saw. Emma was crouched down, her arms circled around her head, and Troy could see from a far distance that her eyes were screwed shut.

"Emma!"

Through all the noise, Emma heard an echo calling out to her. Like all sound around her, it was loud. Loud enough to know that she had to march forward. So she stumbled back on her feet and took a step forward. But her whole body shook and trembled with every step. Everything began blurring and blackening around her.

She couldn't take it. Her body gave up and she collapsed straight forward.

Right into Troy's arms.

"Emma, can you hear me?"

"Mmmph…"

"Is that a yes?"

"…Sure."

"Hey," Troy said, moving the loose strands of hair out of her face just to see her eyes staring back, but her body flopped in his arms. "You trust me?"

"Of course." That was a stupid question.

"Sing."

"What?"

"Sing."

Emma furrowed her brows. "Can I ask why?" she said.

"Maybe your song can counter the monster's. It should."

"One of those fight fire with fire situations?" Emma chuckled.

"Exactly." Troy grinned. Hastily, but gracefully, he hoisted her up. Her arm latched around his neck and half her weight was supported on his strength.

And as they made their way out of the forest, Emma began singing in her sweet soprano voice and was walking on her two feet. And Troy listened all he could.

Troy held her in his arms the whole way.
