Crush, Crush, Crush- Paramore

I Miss the Misery- Halestorm

Live for the Night- Krewella

The night of the festival finally arrived. With a little persuasion, Mayor Mellow agreed to have the bands play on a stage outside of the park. Then, when the whole thing was over, the thrill seekers would either simply stay for the dance party or head straight into the carnival to start their night. The whole place was packed. People all around Peaceville and beyond heard of this dual-band performance, and with the cheap prices of the tickets, the news spread like wildfire. It was safe to say to that this was going to be the biggest and wildest gig both bands ever played.

Mayor Mellow stepped onto the stage, tapping the microphone. "Testing, testing...Is this thing on?" The speakers echoed his voice, indicating that they were up and running. The mayor grinned and spread his arms.

"Ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to the annual Lunar Scar carnival and festival!"

The crowd roared with applause. Mayor Mellow waved to the screaming fans, eager for both Grojband and the Newmans to come up on stage. Kate and Allie screamed and squealed while the Newman groupies, Karter and Al, hooted and howled. Corey and Carrie had managed to talk Mayor Mellow into allowing their little groupies into the front row as thanks for numerous support.

"Now I know you're all here to enjoy the food, rides, and games, but before all that, do you wanna hear Grojband and the Newmans rock the house?!"

The crowed roared again, beginning to chant the band names. "Grojband!"

"Newmans!"

"Grojband!"

"Newmans!"

"I can't. Hear YOU!"

Oh God, he was going to need hearing aids after that scream. The fans were going wild. They wanted a performance, and they wanted it now. Girls held up signs that read from: 'The Newmans ROCK' to 'Corey Riffin, Marry me!'.

...

Backstage, Larry paced in a circle, rubbing the back of neck. He was nervous. Nervous about everything. Would this go well? Will it be enough to make up for their mistake? Would his and Laney's secret be out? Why were his boots so tight?

The male bassist groaned, kicking the heels of his boots. Kin and Kim's idea of new attire sounded good at first, but now, he was kind of regretting it. Even though the girls said to go for something more stylish, he just couldn't bring himself to it. Despite their pleas, Larry settled for a simple black zip-up hoodie, a green tank top, his name-engraved dog tag he wore to Laney's barbeque, his traditional red jeans and black boots, and black wristbands that had the Newmans name and logo on them. The only thing that was different from his traditional pants style was that he was wearing them tucked over his boots, rather than being folded and tucked inside.

Larry sighed, starting to feel stressed out. "Maybe I'm not cut out for this..." The red head almost immediately mentally slapped himself. 'Get it together, Larry! Everything will be fine! No matter what happens, everything will be okay! We prepared for this!' The boy sighed, sitting down on a rock. Even though he came to common ground with the Grojband boys, he still felt a little resentment for Corey. As much as he tried to get it out of his system and justify Corey's all-around personality, Larry just didn't know why he disliked Corey so much.

Was it because he and Laney were best friends? No, that couldn't be it. Even though Corey and Laney did share a close bond, Larry had the privilege and right to call Laney his girlfriend. Maybe it was because Corey seemingly focused on Carrie half the time? Nah. Even though Larry had a crush on Carrie, every ounce of that childish dream went into loving Laney now. At this point, he could didn't even notice if a guy flirted with her.

So, if it wasn't Corey being Laney's best friend, or him having a crush on Carrie (without him realizing it himself), then what was it?

"Yo, Nepp!"

Larry turned his head up, spotting his temporary band mates approach him. Corey was dressed with his Grojband beanie, a small leather black vest, a blue V-neck short sleeved shirt with the Grojband skull on it, black skinny jeans, blue Converse, and two black wristbands.

Kin was wearing his usual glasses, a silver wristwatch, a black tie and a red dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his triceps and was tucked inside his dark blue jeans, a black belt with a gold buckle, and brown leather dress shoes with tan soles.

Kon wore his red bandana over his head with a white V-neck short sleeved shirt, a ripped light blue denim vest, a wristband with the Grojband skull on his right wrist, and his usual jeans and sneakers.

"You ready to rock?" Corey asked, grinning ear-to-ear. Man, he was pumped for this! The crowd outside was only growing bigger and bigger thanks to Mayor Mellow's mouth. Larry wanted to give Corey a snarky remark, but he knew this was not the time nor place to start anything. Instead, he nodded with a fake grin.

"You know it, Riffin!"

There was loud shriek, and the boys looked up to see Kin peeking through the curtains. Over the stage was a large, flat screen TV so the people in the farther rows could see the action. Kin grinned and went back behind the curtains. "It's a full house back there! It's going to be so epic!"

"Oh man, this will set our rockstar careers on kickstart!" Corey cried, jamming on an air guitar. "I'm so pumped! We'll be famous after this!"

"Don't get ahead of yourself, Corey. We just gotta get through this night."

The boys looked back, their eyes dilating wide. Like Corey, Carrie couldn't surrender her beanie and black makeup either. The Newmans leader wore an oversized white shirt with the Newmans logo on it. It was so big, it drooped over her right shoulder, and under that was a simple back tank top. She wore ripped, light blue denim shorts with black leggings that went down to her knees, and she wore her usual blue Converse with her socks lowered down to her ankles.

Like Kin, Kim wore her glasses, hairband, and red bandana. She wore a white short sleeved T-shirt with black stripes on the sleeves and lower half of the shirt. Two vertical stripes went up her shoulders, almost looking like suspenders, and in the middle of the shirt was a black lightning bolt. Her left wrist had a black wristband with the Newmans skull on it, and she wore indigo skinny jeans with tan leather dress shoes with brown soles.

Konnie wore her usual bandana, just like Kon. She too had a sagging black T-shirt that drooped down on her left shoulder, and it had an inverted Newmans logo on it. Her right wrist had a black spiked wristband, and she two, thin black wristbands on her left wrist just in case her friends or herself needed to put their hair up. Like Kon, she settled for blue skinny jeans that were tucked inside her knee-high beige boots.

Laney had kept her usual makeup and hairclip. She had a small, leather vest with a green short sleeved T-shirt, multiple silver rings on her fingers, a red, frilled skirt, black leggings, and black high top Converse sneakers.

The Newmans bassist blinked. Even though they all changed styles, neither one of them could take away a piece of their old clothing or style.

"Wow..." Kon whispered as he flushed red, staring at Konnie. Who, in return, simply smiled shyly and waved back before the others could see. Carrie grinned and approached Corey, flicking his nose playfully. The blue boy recoiled back, clutching his nose.

"Ow! Hey, that hurt!"

"Don't get distracted, Corey. The only thing that should be on your mind right now is the lyrics and notes to the songs," Carrie said, listening to the crowd scream as Kon and Konnie peeked from behind the curtains. Kin and Kim pulled the two drummers back, causing them to fall over. Carrie facepalmed. "Oh God..."

"Five minutes, kids!" A security guard cried. Corey shot him a thumbs up and the guy left.

"Hey, don't worry! We're gonna rock this house!" A grinning Corey said, rocking his air guitar again. "With the new outfits, the songs, and the opening, we're all untouchable!"

"Core, the thing we need most now is how are we going to open up?" Laney said, crossing her arms with an unamused expression on her face. Larry stood beside her, miming her. "Yeah, Carrie. What's the plan for that?"

If there wasn't a giant crowd outside the stage, there would be crickets chirping in the distance. Both guitarists had blank expressions on their faces, and this caused facepalms by the redheads. "You forgot the plan?!"

"That was the most important detail!" Larry cried, digging his fingers into his hair. "We can't just hop on the stage like a bunch of idiots! We need an intro to the opening!"

"Larrs, easy." Carrie grabbed Larry's shoulders, trying to calm him down. "I'm sure Kim has a plan!"

"Actually, both Kin and I have a plan," Kim spoke up, gesturing to said Kin. "We've installed smoke machines and strobe lights around the stage, so when both bands go up, we can adjust to how much smoke and lighting we can use."

"See?" Corey smiled, ruffling Laney's hair. "Nothing to worry about, Lanes! Chill out." Laney sighed, fixing her hair quickly. "Sorry, Core. I guess I'm just a bit nervous is all. This is probably one of the most important nights of our lives, and if we screw it up, say good-bye to summer vacation!" She looked at the group, taking in their expressions. Larry wasn't far off from her; he knew the consequences of this if the event failed. But Corey? He looked like he was hit by an eighteen wheeler truck.

"Oh man...You're right, Lanes."

"Did you seriously just realize this now?"

"One minute, kids!"

"Oh God, what are we gonna do if we fail?!" Corey pulled at his hair, freaking out. "I'm not ready to jail! They won't let you play in peace or go to the bathroom in privacy, or-!"

"DUDE!" Carrie grabbed Corey by his shoulders, shaking him furiously. "Calm the hell down! We can do this! We rocked crowds before, so we can do it again!"

Corey stared at Carrie, and she made sure she kept eye contact with him.

"We're the best bands in Peaceville for God's sake! They haven't seen anything when they see us! We'll pay for the mistake tenfold after this! You hear me?!"

Corey was frozen in place. 'Jesus Christ, Carrie...' His heart pounded against his chest. For some reason, he felt all weird inside. With her hands gripping his arms and her face being so close, Corey almost turned pink right in front of her. His expression softened, turning into a smile. "Yeah...Thanks, Care..."

The Newmans guitarist froze, blinking in confusion. What the hell? Why didn't he fight back? Or at least, called her some kind of stupid name? Weren't boys supposed to be stupid like that? Her mind suddenly flashed back to the event where he fell asleep on her, and muttered that crazy sentence: 'You smell so nice, Carrie...'

She instantly went red. Her heart pounded in her chest and her palms sweating, Carrie suddenly felt all weak. 'W-what the hell...?'

"Hey!"

The two blue heads snapped out of their trances and looked towards the stage. Larry had his bass around his shoulder, waiting up on the balcony. "Earth to Carrie Beff and Corey Riffin! It's time to rock!"

"Oh, yeah!" Corey smirked and rushed to grab his guitar. "Let's rock, Grojmans!"

...

Mayor Mellow tapped the microphone, looking out into the crowd. It had grown significantly in the past hour, and now, the time has come. Will Grojband and the Newmans fix their mistake? He hoped so, or else he'd have no other choice but to put them in the slammer.

"Ladies and gentlemen, it's almost time! Are you ready?!"

The crowd roared with excitement and anticipation. The lights on the stage began to dim and the smoke machines kicked into action. "Then here they are! Please give a warm welcome to Peaceville's own two bands, Grojband and The Newmans!"

The lights went out for a split second, but then came back on with the two bands up on stage. Grojband on the right and the Newmans on the left. The crowds went wild as the TV screen flickered on. Smoke poured onto the stage as the strobe lights were kicked into action. Corey and Carrie grabbed their microphones, slinging their guitars over their shoulders the proper way.

"Good evening Peaceville and beyond!"

"Are you ready to get this party started?!"

The two leaned over the stage with their hands over their ears. The cheers and roars of the crowd echoed onto the stage. They were more than ready for this! Corey smirked and Carrie, and she nodded and smirked back.

"Then let's do this!"

Kon hit his drums, and Konnie followed suit. "One, two, three, four!" Corey strummed his guitar and Laney followed behind him. After Laney, Carrie and Larry strummed their instruments, and then Kin and Kim played in as well.

Corey and Carrie approached their mics and began to sing. "One plus one, us two. Together, it's true." The two smiled at each other, remembering the reason why they sang this song. Talk about irony. "Ooh ooh ooh ooh...You make me wanna smile every day, and I've gotta say...I've just gotta say-"

"AAAAUGH! Let go of my hand! Don't you understand?" Corey jumped up onto a boombox. His fans went wild! "You make me wanna empty my guts- no ifs, ands, or buts! You're like a rotten egg steak or sardines and cake!"

"We're two halves of a whole, and yes we're on a role!" Carrie glanced back at her band mates, smiling along with them as they sang along. "We're sharing it all. Even a soul...Even our souls~."

"Like ice cream and pickles, you make me sickle!" Corey took this line, jumping onto another boombox on his side of the stage. "Touch me again and this puke's gonna trickle out of my face, all over the place!"

"We're too different to take up the same space!"

There was a record scratch, and the song ended. It was short, but the crowd enjoyed the song anyway. Fangirls of Corey and Larry squealed and screamed, reaching out to try and touch the boys. Corey laughed and faced the crowd. "Hey, glad to see you guys enjoyed the opening! Now, are you ready for the main event?"

Shrieks and squeals again. Adrenaline pumped through Corey's veins. So this is what it's like to perform for over two thousand people! If there were that many. Either way, Corey gave Laney a high five before heading off the stage. Larry did the same with Carrie, following Corey. He gave Laney a quick wink for good luck, and Kin and Kon gave Kim and Konnie double thumbs up.

"Good luck, girls!"

The boys rushed off, and the girls had the full stage to themselves. The crowd cheered and hollered with the occasional hoots and howls from the boys. Carrie rolled her eyes and turned to her band mates. Laney gave her a triumphant look and the twins smirked, beaming with confidence. This was only the beginning, but by God, it was amazing. Carrie took hold of her mic and gripped it with fierce intensity.

"Did you guys come here to listen to music by a bunch of boys, or are you ready to rock with us girls?!"

The girls in the crowd cheered louder than anybody else, obviously. Carrie smirked and strummed her guitar, leading Konnie to start pounding against her drums. It happened for a few seconds, but then Kim, Laney, and Carrie tuned in all at once, and Carrie started singing.

"I've got a lot to say to you...Yeah, I got a lot to say..." Carrie glanced down at the boys, and Corey's eyes were glued to her. "I notice your eyes are always glued to me, you're keeping them here and it makes no sense at all..."

Laney, Kim, and Konnie jumped in, singing backup with Carrie. "They taped over your mouth, scribbled out the truth with their lies, your little spies...They taped over your mouth, scribbled out the truth with their lies, your little spies..."

Carrie and Laney smirked at each other as they strummed in unison. They got each others backs.

"Crush..."

"Crush..."

"Crush."

"Crush, crush!"

"Two, three, four!"

"Nothing compares to-"

"-A quiet evening alone!"

"Just the one, two-

"I was just counting on..."

"That never happens..."

"I guess I'm dreaming again!"

"Let's be more than...This!"

Like before, Carrie and Laney strummed their bass and guitars together. With the inclusion of Kim's high keyboard notes, the music were really hitting home by the sounds of the crowd. They were going wild! Konnie hit her drums, signalling for the next verse.

"If you want to play it like a game, well, come on, come on, let's play..."

"'Cause I'd rather waste my life pretending, than have to forget you for one whole minute!"

Laney, Kim, and Konnie jumped in again, "They taped over your mouth, scribbled out the truth with their lies, your little spies...They taped over your mouth, scribbled out the truth with their lies, your little spies..."

They were all grinning madly. This was an amazing thrill for them all! Konnie hit her drums together and Carrie strummed the longer notes. "Crush..."

"Crush..."

"Crush."

"Crush, crush!"

"Two, three, four!"

"Nothing compares to-"

"-A quiet evening alone!"

"Just the one, two-"

"I was just counting on..."

"That never happens..."

"I guess I'm dreaming again!"

"Let's be more than...this now!"

Carrie strummed the cords of her guitar, following the beats to Konnie's drums and Kim's keyboard. Her heart was pounding, adrenaline rushed through her veins. This was amazing! This is what it was like to be a rockstar!

"Rock and roll, baby, don't you know that we're all alone now?"

"I need something to sing about!"

"Rock and roll-"

"Hey!"

"-Don't you know, baby, we're all alone now?"

"I need something to sing about!"

"Rock and roll-"

"Hey!"

"-Don't you know, baby, we're all alone now? Give me something to sing about!"

Konnie slammed on her drums, starting up the last verses of the song!

"Nothing compares to-"

"-A quiet evening alone!"

"Just the one, two-

"I was just counting on..."

"That never happens..."

"I guess I'm dreaming again!"

"Let's be more than...No~!"

Laney grinned and Carrie smirked, nodding as they started to sing together. They had this in the bag.

"Nothing compares to-"

"-A quiet evening alone!"

"Just the one, two-"

"I was just counting on..."

"That never happens..."

"I guess I'm dreaming again!"

"Let's be more than...More than this~!"

"Oh-ooohhhh..."

The four girls ripped through the notes on their instruments, putting every ounce of energy into these last few seconds.

"Ooooooh~..."

Carrie played the last note, and the song ended. The people cheered and screamed at the top of their lungs, clapping and applauding. The girls exchanged looks, grinning ear-to-ear. What an adrenaline rush! No wonder so many people wanted to become rockstars, or why everyone who can't admired them! The girls bowed a little, but then Carrie broke the screaming as she grasped the microphone.

"So, you think that's it, huh?"

There was silence to meet her words. Was it? Carrie smirked and shredded a note on her guitar. "Not by a long shot! Theses girls are just getting started!"

The crowd cheered again, and Carrie's strumming began to tune the girls in. Konnie tapped her drum sticks. "One, two...One, two, three, four!" The girls began to play their notes, holding their keys for a few. But then Carrie strummed some higher notes and grabbed the microphone again.

"Oooh...I miss the misery!"

Carrie jumped back a few feet, bringing Laney, Konnie, and Kim together, and the all four girls sang as one. "Ohhh! Ohhh! Ohhh, oh, oh, ohhhh! Ohhh! Ohhh! Ohhh, oh, oh, ohhhh!"

Carrie went back up to the front, her eyes locking onto the faces of the screaming crowd. "I've been a mess since you stayed~...I've been a wreck since you changed..."

Laney played a few bass notes, then sang alone. "Don't let me get in your way! I miss the lies and the pain!" She turned to Carrie, and the female guitarist grinned and sang along. "The fights that keep us awake, ache, ache!"

"I'm telling you!"

"I miss the bad things- the way you hate me! I miss the screamin', the way that you blame me!"

"I miss the phone calls when it's your fault! I miss the late nights, don't miss you at all!"

"I like the kick in the face~!"

"And the things you do to me!"

"I love the way that it hurts~!"

"I don't miss you, I miss the misery!"

All four girls joined in and sang together. "Ohhh! Ohhh! Ohhh, oh, oh, ohhhh!" Laney shredded the chords on her bass, pumping her energy into the music. "I've tried but I just can't take it...I'd rather fight than just fake it."

"'Cause I like it rough!"

"You know that I've had enough, I dare ya to call my bluff!"

"Can't take too much of a good thi-ing!"

Both Carrie and Laney began to sing, and Kim started to sing back up. The crowd was going wild!

"Just know that I'll make you hurt~..."

"I miss the lies and the pain and what you did to me!"

"When you tell me you'll make it worse~..."

"I'd rather fight all night than watch the TV!"

"I hate that feeling inside, you'll tell me how hard you'll try, but when we're at our worst~..."

"I miss the misery..."

The music died down, leaving Carrie to sing alone.

"Miss the bad things, the way you hate me, I miss the screaming the way that you blame me..."

Konnie pounded against her drums, and the hard rock rose up all over again.

"I miss the rough sex; leaves me a mess!"

"I miss the feelings of pains in my chest!"

"Miss the phone calls when it's your fault!"

"I miss the late nights, don't miss you at all!"

"I like the kick in the face~!"

"And the things you do to me!"

"I love the way that it hurts~!"

"I don't miss you, I miss the misery!"

"Ohhh! Ohhh! Ohhh, oh, oh, ohhhh!" Laney, Kim, and Konnie sang together, leaving Carrie to sing the other verses for herself. "I don't miss you, I miss the misery~!"

"Ohhh! Ohhh! Ohhh, oh, oh, ohhhh!"

"Yeah!"

Then, the music stopped all at once, and Carrie finished it all.

"I don't miss you, I miss the misery!"

Applause and screams once again. Carrie and Laney brofisted each other, grinning wildly. Their time of stage was almost up, but this last song was going to send the Newmans out with a bang.

"Nice work, Penn!"

"Thanks, Beff! It was fun while it lasted!"

Laney grinned as she began to walk off the stage, a wry smile on her face. She passed by Larry who gave a wink. "Nice job!" He whispered as he walked past her. Laney noticed he didn't take his bass with him.

"What the...?"

"What's he doing?" Kon asked, watching Larry walk up onto the stage empty handed. "Doesn't he need his bass?"

The screams and cheers echoed throughout the park when Larry came up on stage. He knew the cameras were filming him because the people in the back were jumping like rabbits. He winked towards the camera and approached the stand where Laney stood before.

Carrie grinned at him, and her guitar was taken off the stage as well. The only two who had their instruments were Kim and Konnie, but now Konnie had some form of stereo system. The audience muttered to one another, thinking that it'll be some form of love song duet?

Larry grabbed his microphone, standing beside Carrie. "If you're all thinking that Carrie and I are going to sing together, you're right." The mutters only got louder. Larry even heard someone shout to kiss Carrie already. The redhead smiled. "But it's not a love song. Carrie and I aren't dating."

That sparked even louder mutters. Some sounded shocked while others cheered. Larry figured it was those crazy fangirls. He had to admit, as nice as it was having fans, some of them were batshit insane!

"Instead," Carrie wrapped an arm around Larry, grinning back at him. "Larry and I are best friends and only best friends! So, in order to thank you all about supporting us and Grojband, so before Grojband comes up, we're going to do something a bit different compared to our usual rock songs."

Carrie turned to Konnie, who nodded and began to play a small beat. Kim tapped her keyboards, and the strobe lights changed colors to red, blue, green, and yellow. Smoke poured out onto the stage and Carrie started the last song for her band.

"I live for the night! I live for the lights! I live for the heights 'til I'm free fallin'!"

Kim and Konnie turned to their mics, singing back up for Carrie. "I live for the night! I live for the lights! I live for the heights 'til I'm free fallin'! Fallin'!"

The music kicked in, and the beats began to move in synch with the strobe rainbow lights. The crowd cheered, instantly beginning to jump and fist pump to the beat, screaming at the top of their lungs.

"'Til I'm free fallin'!"

"Fallin'!" Larry jumped onto the stereo and then did front flipped back onto the stage. When he landed back on his feet, Konnie turned up the beats and the music pumped out of the stereos. Carrie grabbed some glow stick bracelets and threw them into the crowd, watching them as they put them on.

"I live for the night!"

Larry began to spin and twirl, showing off his secret talent: Break dancing! His flips and twirls made his fans go crazy! The boy laughed, enjoying this already! He could get used to doing dance party moves! But Carrie smirked and brought him back to reality with her singing! "I am try'na holla, got that ink up on my colla'! Drinkin' til it's nada, isn't whiskey I don't bother!"

"My bitches ain't no dimes they be mothafuckin' dollars! So we stack our drinks up high, skyscrappin' 'til we taller!" Larry turned to Kim and Konnie, grinning like an idiot!

"Ring ring, hit that up! Show that universal love!"

"If you bleed that red blood, dance until you get enough!"

"Ring ring, hit that up! Show that universal love!"

"If you bleed that red blood, dance until you get enough!" The twins smirked, clearly enjoying that they'd be able to sing a little more! Konnie turned the music down, giving Carrie a better chance to sing a little lower. "Imma do what I want, whatever. Imma rage 'til the dawn, all nighter. Don't hold your breath, you know I'll sleep when I am dead~!"

"I live for the night! I live for the lights! I live for the heights 'til I'm free fallin'!"

"I live for the night! I live for the lights! I live for the heights 'til I'm free fallin'!"

"Fallin'!"

The music pumped up again, and Larry resumed his insane break dancing tricks. Carrie had to admit, she never knew how good of a dancer Larry was up until now!

"I live for the night!"

With the loud, pounding music, consistent strobe lights, pouring smoke, twirling glow lights, and the screams of the crowd, everything that the two bands did to practice for this was instantly payed off! Larry did a quick back flip, landing squarely on his feet.

Larry and Carrie grinned at each other. This was amazing! They should have done rave-themed concerts months ago! But the two knew that they were better of rockstars anyway! Kim and Konnie ran up to the front, and Larry and Carrie jumped back to give the twins some much needed upfront singing.

"Free fallin'!"

"I'm a grim reaper when I'm blarin' out your speaker! Killin' out the weaker, welcome to the final feature!"

"My head is in the clouds, you can say that I'm a dreamer!"

"But I bang it super loud, turn that bitch into a screamer!"

Carrie sang the chorus, changing positions with Larry and the twins again. "Imma do what I want, whatever. Imma rage 'til the dawn, all nighter." The beats changed, and the audience clapped along with the music. "Don't hold your breath, you know I'll sleep when I am dead~!"

"I live for the night! I live for the lights! I live for the heights 'til I'm free fallin'!"

"I live for the night! I live for the lights! I live for the heights 'til I'm free fallin'!"

"Fallin'!"

The music blasted the beats again, and Larry rushed towards the crowd and stage dived! The girls in the crowd screamed louder than any other! Larry fist pumped the air, cheering.

"This is freaking awesome!"

The girls pushed Larry back up onto the stage, and the Newmans wrapped up the song altogether!

"I live for the night!"

"I live for the lights!"

"I live for the high til I'm free fallin'!"

"I live for the night!"

"I live for the lights!"

"I live for the high til I'm free fallin'!"

"I live for the night!"

The crowd went ballistic. The screams and cheers overpowered any other sound outside of the park. Carrie looked at her friends, breathing heavily. Dancing and singing together isn't easy, but God, was it rewarding. They hit home with this crowd; it was only a matter of time before they were signing record deals with companies.

Carrie smiled and took a bow for herself and her band. "Thank you all so much! You were a great audience and it was thrill to perform for you guys! Enjoy the festival, and the Newmans hope to see you again for next year!"

The crowd roared with applause and cheers. The Newmans all waved to their screaming fans and began to walk off the stage. As Larry followed his friends, he turned back to a few girls in the front row, winked, and blew a kiss towards them. Larry's fangirls nearly trampled each other in order to "catch" Larry's first, and probably last, sign of affection towards them.

The red head exited the stage, laughing. Carrie snickered, putting her hands on her hips. "What was that?"

"Hey, we need them to come back, right?" Larry smirked at her, causing his band leader to roll her eyes. Grojband approached the Newmans with Corey clapping his hands.

"Great show, girls!"

"No surprise there," Carrie replied as she flipped her hair back over her shoulder. "See if you can beat that, Riffin!"

"Oh, don't worry, I plan on it." Corey smirked back at her, brushing a strand of hair away from his eyes. He turned to Kin and Kon, and they nodded with eager grins.

"Yeah! This is gonna be so sick!"

"Hell yeah!"

Corey looked at Larry, and the redhead nodded. "I'm comin'." Larry followed behind Corey, but then glanced at the girls. They all had confident smirks on their faces. Larry knew that they killed it when they went on, but he was more worried when Laney went on with Grojband at their last song. But at the same time, the audience wasn't expecting what they had in store for them.

Larry grabbed his bass and smirked. "Let's do this."
