"The Dynasty" Part 3

White House:

Paramedics were now present, caring for those who got hurt. FBI agents and S.W.A.T. officers were also present, arresting those Dynasty members who were beaten by the Justice League. And the Justice League themselves were also there, talking to an FBI officer.

Amanda Waller: ... Superman and Martian Manhunter managed to get rid of the smoke, where we saw just how many of the guests here were actually here to take the President. Manhunter went to escort the President out of the building.

FBI Agent: We're trying to contact the President now. No word yet.

Waller: Once Jones comes back, we'll use him to get information on these spies.

And speaking of their green Martian, John Jones returns to the team, with the Immortal Man with him.

Waller: John? Is the President safe?

John: I have bad news; the President has been captured.

FBI Agent: What?!

John: The man who attacked me, Vandal Savage, knew what my weakness was. He says he had members of his group, called the Dynasty, inside of the government itself.

Maxwell Lord: The government?

John: I believe that's how this whole ruse managed to be successful.

Waller: And who is he? (Points at Immortal Man)

Immortal Man: My name is Klarn Arg; a former member of Savage's group, The Dynasty, but I call myself the Immortal Man. I wished I could've informed you all sooner about this.

Superman: Sooner?

Immortal Man: Yes. I've been apart of Savage's group ever since he and his tribue found a meteor that fell from the sky, over 50,000 years ago. The meteor was unlike anything we had ever seen... but that was because it was no meteor. It was an artifact, holding great knowledge and power. And a message... from there, he started recruiting other local tribes. I was apart of one of those tribes. In fact, for the longest time, I was his main adversary, always by his side.

Ray Palmer: What made you leave?

Immortal Man: Savage goals for the Dynasty changed. The meteor transformed our minds to it's evolutional peak. But because we had evolved so much from the meteor, that we looked down upon future generations because they're way of life- their way of understanding- was inferior to ours. So Savage's ways changed. Though they still follow the same goals that we're made when the group began, now they are focused on other things. Like taking down governments, kidnapping kings, brainwashing celebrities, and poisoning foods to help bring forward the evolution of humans. In many cases, he is right. But he is doing it in the wrong ways. For that, I could not stay any longer, so I had to leave. And, now, I am considered a traitor towards the group.

Waller: You might know where the President could be?

Immortal Man: Sorry, but I don't know. You could ask one of them for the information (points towards a Dynasty member)

Maxwell Lord: Looks like you're up, John.

John goes over towards a few of the Dynasty members, all cuffed up towards the wall, and guarded by S.W.A.T. and FBI Agents.

John: Tell us where you're holding the President.

Dynasty Member #1: Why would we tell you?

John: Fine, then.

John's eyes begin to glow red, as he begins searching for information in the Dynasty members mind. But the Dynasty member just laughs, as John would soon realise why he laughed.

Dynasty Member #1: Our superior evolution has reached it's peak. And with that, the ability to be fend off telepathic intrusions!

John: We'll see about that.

His eyes glowed even brighter. The Dynasty member's claim appeared to have been true, but despite that, John managed to fight his way into the Dynasty member's brain, to much of the Dynasty member's struggle to fend off John, but John was just too powerful for him to withstand. In fact, the way inside his mind was so strong, that when John was done, he accidentally sent the Dynasty Member into a "semi-mind coma". John looked in shock, yet he now had the information as to where the President was being held in.

John: I found out where the President is located...

Undisclosed Location:

The President woke up to an unnerving view of Vandal Savage and a few of his Dynasty members, looking down at the President, whose hands and feet tied down to a chair.
President: Where am I?

Savage: Somewhere safe. At least, for us, that is. Though I have no doubt that the Martian will find out where our location is, so we must be quick.

President: What do you want with me?

Savage: Many things, really. The Dynasty believe that corruption and evil are the sole flaws that has downgraded the human race. And you, are among one of them.

President: And you aren't? With your cult robes and your symbols and rituals?

Savage: We aren't corrupt. We are far from it. We are motivated to save the world from the end. And that we might bring the world into a new dawn; one where the human race will have fully evolved, just like us.

President: You as well are doing all of this to save the world from the end?

Savage: You're implying that there's someone else with the same motivations as we are?

President: The Martian leader, Ma'alefa'ak, had come to Earth, to conquer the world for the exact same reason; to help stop the end of the world.

Savage: Hm... that's new information. Which brings me to the point of why you are here; For as long as we have been living, our goals have been expanded upon. However, we have not forgotten what our main objectives are; to stop the end of everything. But when the end is prevented, we must be there to rise up, and lead the people into a new age for humans. And now that we are getting, oh, so very close towards the end, we must be quick. And we must be prepared. For I have many ideals that I am ready to finally fulfill, after centuries of having to be behind the shadows. The world isn't ready for the end to come…

Central City; Barry & Iris' House:

Barry, Iris, Hal, and Carol continued their night, with the main course of their meal finished. All four of them were now settling their stomachs with more conversations. Hal was going on about an adventure he went on with Kilowog.

Hal: … Now, Kilowog wasn't sure where we ended up on. Apparently, we entered into an unknown sector no one had ever been in. Stranded on a planet we weren't even sure it was, and suddenly, we got swarmed with these large bugs with an eyeball as bodies, and they spat acid out of their eyes, too. We were cournered, and outnumbered. It felt like our days were already up.

Iris: What happened?

Hal: Well, let's just say, we wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for the pepper spray idea Kilowog had. That man saved my life more times than I can count.

Barry hears his phone ring, and he takes out his phone, to see that Amanda Waller is calling her.

Barry: 'Cuse me, Waller's calling. (He leaves the kitchen) Hello?

Waller: (phone) Barry, we're going to need you, right now.

Barry: Can it wait? I'm currently spending time with friends.

Waller: The President has been kidnapped by a cult organization. This is serious, Mr. Allen, which means you are to report in Washington D.C., now.

Barry: Does Hal need to come in as well?

Waller: He won't be useful for the mission we need you to do.

Barry: (beat) And what's this mission I'm suppose to go on?

Waller: Come to Washington to find out.

Barry: *sigh* Be there in less than 10.

He hangs up, and returns into the kitchen.

Barry: I just got a call from Waller. The President's been kidnapped, and they called me in. I... have to leave, now. I'm... I'm sorry, guys.

Iris gets up from her chair, and approaches Barry.

Iris: Don't be, Barry. Go. Besides, this is the President that's in danger, so go and save him.

Barry: Thanks, Iris.

They embrace in a kiss, and Barry quickly changes into his Flash costume, and heads right out the door.

Carol: (long beat) Do you want us to leave?

Iris: No, stay. We can still have a fun time for the rest of the night. Just hope that Barry can come back on time...

Washington D.C.; Conference Room:

The Flash sped right into the room, having to stop himself from going any further. He looks around to see Atom, Superman, Martian Manhunter, the Immortal Man, and surprisingly to Barry, Batman, along with Amanda Waller and Maxwell Lord, all present in the conference room.

Flash: Batman? You're here before me. You never arrive on time.

Batman: I was the last one to arrive. You're the one who's late.

Flash: Touche. (Flash takes a seat)

Waller: Listen up, you five-

Flash: Six. You forgot Superman.

Waller: I'm not counting him for this mission, Flash. We're sending you all to an empty warehouse in Georgia, where the President is currently located in, courtesy of this man right here (points to Klarn)

Flash: Who's he?

Immortal Man: Klarn Arg, also known as the Impossible Man.

Flash: Never heard of you.

Immortal Man: It's a new codename.

Flash: So... guessing from the name, you're immortal?

Immortal Man: Yep.

Flash: Well, that's cool. Is he a new member of the team-?

Waller: - Like I was saying! I'm sending all of you to retrieve the President, and take the Dynasty and it's leader down.

Flash: Wait, who are these Dynasty guys?

Waller: John, brief him in about it. Frankly, I'm in no mood in dealing with you, Flash. I need this recon mission to go smoothly. The President is counting on you all. So get to it.
