Ferro had still been sleeping while Bo watched her. The succubus didn't care if this was all to do with the bond. She only cared for the young vampire and wanted to make sure she was the first person she saw once she woke up, maybe that was selfish of her but at that moment she didn't care.
Tamsin had been stood at the door way of Ferro's bedroom watching Bo watch the vampire. She saw the concern on her face. She saw the worry. She could see that the succubus truely did care for her which broke her heart more.
"She's still asleep?" Tamsin asked, still stood at the doorway. This time looking at the vampire. Wondering if she will remember anything at all once she's woken up.
"Yeah…" Bo replied, suddenly feeling a bit uncomfortable with it just being her and the Valkyrie alone.
"Listen Bo," Tamsin needed to finally speak her mind. Not having the chance to before. "I'm not going to pretend this whole thing between you two doesn't bother me. As a matter of fact hearing you two in here before all of this happeneed… It.. It hurt"
"Tamsin, I'm s-" Bo started to say but the valkyrie cut her off.
"I don't want to hear your apology." Tamsin closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "If this was under a different situation you wouldn't be breathing right now Bo." Tamsin said sincerely but with a sharp tongue. It was still a threat.
"Tamsin I love her. I can't help it…"
"Well try to help it!" the valkyrie was loosing her patience with her. "You're involved with someone who already has a mate. The love of her life is right here!" The valkyrie exclaimed. She didn't understand why she even felt the need to say this to Bo. The succubus was supposed to be her friend. Tamsin stared Bo down a few moments more and then left to go back downstairs while the succubus sat beside Ferro's bedside and cried quietly.
"Did you hear that shouting then?" Lauren asked her fiancé, sounding a little worried.
They were both in the living area sat in silence with the TV on, mainly for background noise.
"Don't worry, I can hear Tamsin coming down the stairs now" the older Valkyrie confirmed.
Tamsin had walked into the living area to join them. She sat down and faced the TV, eyes watery and not really knowing what to do with herself in that moment. Lauren had gotten up from beside Felice and sat beside the blonde valkyrie. She pulled her in for a hug and that's when Tamsin's emotions all came pouring out.
"What happened up there?" asked Lauren, knowing what ever conversation she had up there had triggered her to fall apart.
"I spoke to Bo. I don't know why I felt the need to explain how this all made me feel but I felt as though I had to. Hoping she'd see sense. But she loves her too… I could see it in her eyes, I watched her looking at Ferro. My Ferro…" Tamsin didn't understand why this was happening to her. It was bad enough seeing Ferro die and dissapear before her eyes. Now to see her reborn and being with someone else. It killed her. It killed her more than seeing her die. Tamsin wished she herself was dead. This was just too much to bear right now.
Felice finally spoke up. "You saw Ferro when you passed out. Remember what she made you promise? Don't give up on her" the older valkyrie reminded her.
"I'm not going to, but I can't deny the fact that this is hard. Bo won" said Tamsin.
Lauren and Felice looked confused. "How has Bo won? They aren't together. They've... just been having sex" Felice said, trying to reassure the young valkyrie.
"Exactly, Fee. They've had sex!"Tamsin emphazised.
In that moment Lauren knew. She rememebred the conversation they had years ago the first night they all met Ferro. 'Bo's a succubus... can't compete with that' was what Tamsin had said that night. "Tamsin just because they had sex before you two did doesn't mean a thing" the nymph gave her a comforting squeeze on the leg.
Tamsin was frsutrated. "Lauren, I haven't had sex..." She'd stopped crying now but she felt a little embarrassed.
"Wait so.. You're still a virgin?" Lauren asked.
"Yes" was all the young valkyrie said.
Then that's when Lauren remembered again that the blonde valkyrie had been waiting until she was ready to have sex with Ferro before she died. "Oh... right"
"Tamsin, that doesn't mean anything. I've told you both," Felice looked at both her fiancé and the young valkyrie. "Ferro went through a phase of sleeping around and getting into trouble. Her feelings for Bo don't mean shit. I refuse to believe this is going anywhere" Felice told them with certainty.
"I hope you're right because when Ferro gets her memories back and Bo still continues to try a persue this delusion of hers, I'm gonna kick her ass!"
"Noted. I'll probably join you" Felice agreed with her. What the succubus was doing was coming across bad to everyone in the group.
Lauren just sat and listened to her two favourite people talking and made the decision to herself that she would secretly help her bestie and the vampire be together again.
Bo had still been crying. She was stood looking out of the bedroom window. A part of her hated herself. She'd done a lot of fucked up shit in her past but this was beyond a joke now and she knew it. But the succubus couldn't help how she felt. This time around Ferro actually liked her. The vampire didn't just see a typical "sex demon" trying to have her fix and get laid. Ferro saw her. Looking into those honey hazel it seemed as though she was almost looking through the succubus at times.
Having seeing the vampire all grown up it was just an attraction at first. Yes she was hot and it reminded her how much she thought she was in college, but this time she actually got to know her properly. Feelings were involved this time around. Not just in her wonder snatch but her heart too. This was serious for her and she didn't want to pass the chance. Even if it broke her friend's heart.
Interrupting her thoughts, the vampire had finally moved. She'd been laaying in the same position this whole time. It was hard to tell if she was even breathing sometimes.
Ferro moved again and mumbled something. "Babe, I'm here" Bo smiled warmly, thinking the vampire would be thinking of her as soon as she became conscious again.
"T.. Tamsin" Ferro mumbled. "F.. Fight for m.. Me" the vampire mumbled again and remained asleep.
Lauren had been stood at the doorway just in time to hear the vampire mumble those words and she couldn't help but have a wide smile on her face but quickly composed herself before walking towards Bo.
"Still asleep I see.." Lauren stated, acting oblivious to what she just witnessed.
"Uh.." Was all the succubus could say.
"Maybe you should leave for tonight? Come back tomorrow, she'll still be here Bo" Lauren said as she quickly guided the succubus out of the bedroom and down the stairs.
"Yeah, you're right. I should actually get some sleep" Bo agreed, which didn't surprise the nymph after what Bo witnessed up there.
Relieved to get the succubus out of the house, Lauren quickly walked towards the kitchen where the two valkyries were sat eating and talking.
Tamsin was sat at the island drinking vodka and eating a packet of potato chips. She had a quick memory being back in her and Lauren's old apartment. When the young valkyrie and Ferro were reunited at News Years 20 years ago they spent the whole night in her room watching movies.
"I remember one time," she started to say to Felice. "Me and Ferro was watching movies all night and she asked for some crisps… I was like what the fuck are crisps" she chuckled. She looked at the potato chips. "I took the piss out of her for like an hour after that. British people are weird" she shook her head with a smile on her face.
Felice laughed. "I nearly forgot she was practically raised over there. At that time our mother was always in battles collecting souls. And our father… He was always busy. We lived with our grandparents in a small town in England. We hated it. As soon as I was able, I left to go to Valhalla" she chuckled. "Matter of fact, I'm surprised that little shit still has the british accent… Weird" Felice wondered aloud.
"Well I'm glad she still has it. It would be weird if she didn't" said Tamsin as she downed the rest of her bottle of vodka.
"Oh my gosh!" Lauren bursted out, making them both jump out of their skin.
They were more terrified as they watched Lauren with a wide smile, eyes popped wide open with excitement.
"Um.. Lauren are you… Possessed?" Felice asked with concern, slowly moving her left hand towards the draws in front of her to get a weapon.
The nymph rolled her eyes, still keeping the wide smile intact. "No.. Silly!" Lauren took a deep breath and composed herself. This time looking at Tamsin with a warm smile. "I think Ferro had the same dream you had"
"Wait.. What?" The blonde valkyrie said. "How do you know that? Is she awake? Did she tell you?!" Tamsin blurted out all these questions in one sentence.
"One.. She's not awake yet. Two.. I know because she mumbled your name in her sleep which was followed by the words 'fight for me'. Three.. She said it in front of Bo and I overheard it." Lauren said with excitement until she mentioned the Bo part, feeling slightly sorry for her to witness that.
"Wow.. Bo can't catch a break can she?" Felice chuckled which caused the nymph to scowl at her.
The older valkyrie sighed. "Sorry, but hopefully that was a fucking wake up call for her. She can't be making moves all up on somebody else's woman! It's messed up" Felice argued.
"Felice, it's okay" Tamsin sighed. No one really knew what else to say. Which didn't really matter because that's when the vampire entered the kitchen.
"Who died?" asked Ferro jokingly, sensing the low mood from everyone.
"Do you remember what happened earlier?" Felice asked.
Ferro furrowed her brows and thought for a moment. "Nah, the only thing I remember about today is me and Bo in my room" she smirked, remembering what encountered in her bedroom. Unfortunately they all knew which the vampire was oblivious about. Felice was pissed.
"You mean you and the succubitch humping like dogs?" Felice said accusingly. "I thought I told you to keep your options open, not your fucking legs!"
"Felice, stop!"Lauren yelled in frustration, taking a deep breath she continued. "Don't make this worse than it already is"
Ferro didn't seem to react and she didn't even seemed phased by it. In all honesty she felt kind of guilty. Not because she agreed with what Felice said but because she watched Tamsin the whole time and saw how she reacted by mentioning Bo. It was like she'd been stung, Ferro didn't know why but she felt like she'd betrayed her somehow.
"Tamsin... Are you okay?" the vampire asked queitly while Lauren and her sister bickered in the background.
"I'm fine" she said coldly. Tamsin left the kitchen without saying another word.
Ferro's POV
Ignoring Lauren and my sister's bickering I went straight to my room as soon as Tamsin left. Gosh I've been laid here for hours. The whole time I thought of Tamsin. Something wasn't right and looking back I remember opening up to Lauren when I was... so many weeks old. I told her about liking Bo and she seemed fine.
Clearly not.
Hm.. Everything was okay the day before the barbeque, right? Then Tamsin arrives and suddenly everyone loses their shit over me and Bo? I't doesn't make sense.
The look on her face though. Seeing her like that... my heart sank.
"Ow!" I screamed out in pain. Out of nowhere my head was killing me. It was like.. a burning pain... and it felt like it was beating trying to burst out of my head. All these images started to appear. They were all just flashing through my mind. A cabin?
"Fucking hell!" more images were speeding through my head which lead to more excruciating pain. The same images over and over again. Was that Tamsin? In a fire?
The pain stopped suddenly and my nose began to bleed. "What the fuck?" I knew what it was. I knew what happened. But that shit happened too fast. I remember everything to do with my family and growing up in England, but I only rememeber a few things after that.
I don't know why but I had to message Bo. This whole situation just didn't make sense. It's getting to the point now where I just cant deal. I need space from her, especially if I want to spend more time with Tamsin. I've gotta find her, but first I need to message Bo.
Four Hours Later
The first placed I checked was the Dal but she wasn't there. After that I pretty much walked all over town for hours. Honestly I didn't know where to look for her. I mean I knew valkyrie's loved vodka and figured she be at the bar.
I messaged Bo as I left out and she seemed to understand. Atleast I hoped she did. I really like the succubus. Having a hot brunette as your baby sitter would obviously lead to a crush. Just saying. Plus she's a succubus which is just a bonus.
I managed to sneak out. Lauren and Felice had made up, I walked past them in the living area knocked out asleep all cuddled up as always. They always end up making up straight after. I'm surprised Lauren deals with my sister's shit sometimes, her temper is something else but then again so is mine.
My soon to be sister-in-law. I gotta say Lauren is a trooper for dealing with us two. I really do thank the Gods for that woman.
I checked the time and it had been nearly 4 hours. I've been out here all this time looking for this girl. "Where the fuck is she?"
I felt my phone buzz in my pocket. I check the caller ID and answered. "Hey Trick"
Back at the crack shack Alexis had been watching TV when Bo came from upstairs into the kitchen. "Where's Kenzi?"
Hearing the succubus' voice made her jump. "Dammit Bo! You scared me!"
"My bad" Bo chuckled.
Alexis shook her head. "I don't know where she is. She went out with Dyson and Hale to help out with some case they're working on"
"Oh okay" In that moment Bo received a text message from Ferro.
Hey Bo, a lot's going on in my head right now. I can't cope with everyone being on my case.. so I think it's best we stay distant from each other just for a little while. Everyone's really pissed about us and I can't deal with it. I'm sure you can't either. I really do care about you Bo. No matter what happens I will always be there for you. I promise. x
Alexis watched as the succubus read her message. "Everything okay?"
"It was Ferro..." Bo said queitly. "She wants to keep her distance. Everyone's opinions are too much for her to deal with which I get" she sighed and replied back.
I understand. As soon as you want me you let me know. I'll be here. x
"Bo, can I ask you a question?" Alexis asked.
"Sure.."
"I know you have feelings for Ferro and I also know that it may be hard to fight the feeling you have for her, but you know she's with Tamsin regardless on whether leech can remember it or not. She will gain her memories back" she paused for a moment and continued. "Are you not scared that you're going to get your heart broken?" Alexis was genuinely curious about this.
Bo answered her honestly. "Not really no. To be honest I thought that her getting her memories back may not be a problem. I mean, yeah we're keeping our options open but technically we're pretty much together" the succubus smiled.
Alexis didn't know what to say. From what Lauren had been telling her the vampire also felt something for Tamsin but obviously she wasn't going to tell the succubus that.
Tamsin had been driving around town for 3 hours to finally end up in the Dal for a drink... or five. Hearing the vampire even mention the succubus' name made her feel sick. She didn't want to keep being reminded about them two having sex. The thought of it just broke her heart more and more. "Did you here about the fire that happened 10 minutes away from here?" A male fae asked someone in the background. They were sat an ear shot away from the valkyrie but she was too into her thoughts to listen in. Tamsin couldn't stop thinking about the whole situation. You'd think 3 hours would be enough time but clearly not.
An hour passed and Tamsin was pretty drunk. Trick didn't know what else to do but to call someone to pick her up.
"Hey" which happened to be Ferro.
The vampire saw this as a chance to talk to the valkyrie. Hearing Trick over the phone she assumed he was exaggerating, now realising that Trick's "exaggeration" was pretty much on point. Tamsin was talking to man sat next to her as she walked in and was pretty sure she heard him ask the valkyrie who Ferro was.
"Ferro, what are you doing here?" Tamsin asked as she tried to make her self look less drunk and a little more presentable.
"I've come to pick you up" the vampire took Tamsin's hand and took her out of the Dal.
"Car keys?" Ferro stook out her hand.
"Uh.. no. I'm driving" Tamsin got her keys out of her pocket and headed to the other side of the car.
"Umm.. No. You're drunk so I'm driving" The vampire caught Tamsin's hand and snatched the keys. "Come on... we're going for a drive"
Ferro got into the valkyries truck. Tamsin on the other hand stood at the passenger side of the truck, crossed her arms and stared at the vampire.
Ferro sighed. "For the record we're not going home so you may aswell get your arse in the bloody car"
Tamsin stared at her for a few more moments then decided to get in. She was drunk and pissed off at the vampire.
Ferro started the car. "I'm guessing you don't really want Lauren seeing you look a mess so I thought we'd go somewhere else first and have a chat" the vampire smirked.
"What do you want to talk about?"
"Us" was all Ferro said.
