Rangiku pushed back on Renji's grip glaring daggers at the young demon in front of them. They'd managed to track her here. She was going to find out what happened to her captain and why he went missing.

She didn't care that the demon looked like an 8 year old girl, adorned with a short gothic dress and a red hood like she was right out the story 'red riding hood'. All she cared about was the zanpactou on her back that the bitch had obviously stolen.

"Sorry about her," Ichigo came in calmly and Rangiku turned her eyes to him.

She knew they were going to be nice to the Blood Princess of hell. It was part of the plan since it seemed like she didn't want to be caught but still. If she has done anything to her captain she'd…

"She's really worried about her Captain."

Rangiku starting to relax a bit darted her icy eyes back to the child demon who's pointed tail swished behind her uncomfortably. She was looking at the ground, seemed scared and hesitant but demons weren't something they were used to. For all they knew it could be a trick.

"Then I suppose…" Came her voice quietly, as hesitantly as she seemed to be acting, and Rangiku froze a moment, it was familiar, "She'll want to know where he is…"

Their eyes connected a moment.

It couldn't be…

"You'll just tell us?" Yumichika shot, crossing his arms.

"I suppose…" Again she was quiet, glancing round them all but lingering longer on Rangiku, "It's whether you believe me or not…I…"

The girl's hand went up and the shinigami tensed wondering whether she was going for a weapon or to attack but before the demon could do what she wanted a woman suddenly appeared behind her. A hand with blood red nails clamped round the girls mouth a second arm pinned her arms to her body and in the struggle Rangiku saw the girl's face a bit more, a few white bangs on the left of her face.

It was…

It couldn't be…but it was.

He was a demon.

He wasn't even a he, he was a she.

But in the end it didn't matter really did it.

Her brain went over these facts as the older demon that held the blood princess tortured her and gloated words she wasn't paying attention to. In the end she came to one conclusion and because of this conclusion she only had one response to this situation.

"Growl, Hieneko!"

She wanted to go to the young demon when she was thrown aside but she was dragged into the fight with the demoness. She was fast easily keeping 5 of them on their toes not even giving Rangiku time to glace in the direction she wanted.

God she hoped she was ok.

The fight was eventually split apart when the young demon dived in the middle. The participants jumped back as two demon weapons clashed and for the first time they got a good look at the young demon princess.

And there was no doubt about it.

"C-Captain Hitsugaya?" Renji and Ikkaku nearly dropped their zanpactou as they registered the sight of Hitsugaya in a dress

"Keep focused," She ordered landing from her attack, stumbling and wincing because of the wound in her stomach.

"You look beautiful Captain!" Yumichika on the other hand was completely gone muttering to himself about how the dress and boots complement each other or something along those lines.

"I said keep focused!" She barked again.

"Captain."

Rangiku took her chance to get her attention as Terial sniggered and the fighting started again in the background.

"I'm sorry Matsumoto…" She said quickly for once letting her voice go a bit girly, eyes going from her to the ground in shame, "I'm sorry I worried you."

Matsumoto smiled. Now she had a chance to look over her, her captain was downright adorable. Dispite the loss of age and clothing (markings and demons features too) not much had changed but undeniably a girl stood in front of her rather than the boy she always thought she was.

It was strange but a small part of her always knew there was something off as she feel to her knees and threw her arms around the young girl.

"I'm just glad you're okay." She sighed hugging tight and smiling, "Though now I know you're a girl we do have to go shopping."

"Ha," Hitsugaya let out a surprising bit of emotion but Rangiku guessed she was just surprised and relieved she hadn't been rejected, "Somehow I knew you'd say that when you found out…"
