A/N: Heehee, I'm wondering how many 'Aww's I can draw out of all of you. XD Thank you all for the reviews! You get a longer chapter this time. :D
Replies/hints for future chapters: painxsmile, This story could be considered pre-canon-ish, I'm actually planning for the time when Reborn comes to train Tsuna to be the last chapter. But this doesn't mean they won't meet Reborn or any of the other characters before then... I'll leave it at that before I start giving the story away. cross-over-lover232, Haha, that would be amusing to see actually. Especially if Bya goes AWOL on the aunts and then they'll never get Tsu back. XD But I made Nana divorce Iemitsu for a reason, so the Vongola won't know anything until they really need him. momocolady, yes, a bed time story drabble will appear around chapter 14/15. I had fun writing this one. Thank you for the prompt. :D

11- Mission
Tsuna rolled around on his bed, bored out of his mind. His mother had gone out to run a quick visit to their neighbours, so the fluffy haired child was left alone at home for a short while... but there was nothing to do. Suddenly, he sat up, an idea coming to him. Didn't Bya-kun say he lived next door...? Then Tsuna could go visit him!
He looked out of his window where he could just see a white poof of hair moving about in the house next door. Turning to Bunbun, who sat on his bed, he gently patted the rabbit on the head. "Sorry, Bunbun, you can't take this mission with me." Yes, that's right. It was a mission! A mission where he would in-infil-infilrate his friend's home. At least that was how it went in those cool spy shows. All he needed now was a suit and a hat, though his bunny hoodie would do fine. Being a bunny meant he could jump really really high after all.
Tsuna opened his window and stepped out onto the roof lining the second floor. He wasn't scared of the height, he never had been afraid of heights despite his fear of many other things. His mother had scolded him the last time he had been on the roof, to watch the pretty sunrise, but surely it was fine since he was bunny this time.
Stepping near the edge, Tsuna looked over the distance separating him and his friend. There was the fence running between his house and Bya-kun's, and some persimmon trees. It was best if he didn't ruin those, his mother loved her plants and they were yummy to boot.
The distance wasn't too far, especially for a bunny. It was only about two feet or so... Tsuna took a few steps back, took a deep breath to calm himself, and then ran and leapt off the edge of the roof.
Byakuran had been busy watching an anime and munching on his marshmallows when he heard a thump against his window. Turning, he could only gape as he saw a flattened version of his friend against his window. Tsuna's face and body was squished, and he waved on arm weakly, making a squeaky noise against the glass.
After getting his friend unstuck from the glass, the white haired child deemed it to be a right time to ask in his usual cheerful manner, "what are you doing Tsu-chan?" He resisted the urge to glomp the brunet. Tsuna looked even more fluffy and adorable in that furry bunny hoodie!
Tsuna rubbed his previously squashed nose, wiggling it. "Ah, I-I wanted to in-infilrate Bya-kun's home because I wanted to see Bya-kun." He said shyly, ducking his head and blushing in embarrassment as his hands came down to fiddle with the hem of his jumper. He had never visited a friend's place before on his own, and he didn't think you were supposed to do it by smashing into the window. It wasn't his fault he didn't know how far he could jump, he never had a chance to try before.
"Hiieeee!" Tsuna cried out as he was bowled over by a white fluff ball.
Byakuran, having got a reply, decided it far past time for him to glomp his friend. He rubbed his cheek against his friend's, laughing in excitement. No one made him as happy as Tsu-chan did. Though it was a good thing his Tsu-chan wasn't very stealthy, he would hate for his best friend to be caught in the traps his aunts had around the house.
"Gyaah! Roof! Roof! Bya-kun, roof edge!"
Oh yeah, they were still on the roof, the white haired child belatedly realised. And the two had rolled precariously close to the edge during their tackle slash hug session. He grinned and pulled away to say teasingly, "it's fine Tsu-chan~ you can be my cushion this time if we fall off~" referring to their first meeting.
Tsuna, not panicking anymore as they had stopped rolling, just blushed and pouted.
Byakuran snickered and pulled one of the brunet's puffy cheeks. "Ne ne, Tsu-chan, how did you get up here anyway?"
Tsuna's eyes squinted at the cheek pulling and he gently batted his friend's hand away. "A-ah, I jumped because I'm a bunny!"
"Bunny~" Byakuran cooed, snuggling into his friend. He didn't mind in the least that Tsuna's explanation made no sense.
"Byakuran-sama, Tsunayoshi-sama, that is dangerous, please come inside." One of the Cervello stood in Byakuran's room at the open window.
"Ah, good afternoon Auntie-Cervello," Tsuna said over Byakuran's shoulder. Although he had yet to be in his friend's house, he had met the Auntie-Cervellos a few times when they came to pick up Byakuran from school or his house. They got along quite well with his mother and now the women took turns taking the boys home from school.
Tsuna swore the Auntie-Cervellos were different from the previous each time he met them. It was hard to tell when they insisted on wearing eye masks like those heroes in english cartoons.
"Good afternoon Tsunayoshi-sama." The pink haired woman ducked her head in a semblance of a bow.
They also insisted on calling him with a honorific like they did for Byakuran, despite his objections. Tsuna blinked and smiled toothily, fuwa fuwa flowers appearing in his background which just made Byakuran squeeze him that much harder. Tsuna gasped and struggled, forgetting that they were near the edge of the roof.
It wasn't long before both boys toppled over the edge, the Cervello shouting after them.
Tsuna slowly opened his shut eyes when he realised that he hadn't fallen against anything hard. He blinked up curiously at the pink haired woman who had caught him. There was also something white and fluffy on the woman's head. It took another moment for him to realise the white fluffy thing was Byakuran who was sitting on the woman's shoulders and jiggling about in glee. "That was fun! Let's do that again~!" The white haired child yelled, grinning down at Tsuna.
Sometimes, Tsuna had to wonder how he and Byakuran came out unscathed when they played with each other. But he much preferred this to all the injuries he used to get from his bullies. Sitting up in the new Cervello woman's arms, he thanked her shyly for catching him before beaming up at Bya-kun. "Okay!"
Luckily, the Cervello managed to distract the boys from wanting to jump off the roof with the promise of sweets, and Tsuna eventually got invited into the house.
Omake
"He's really cute," stated a pink haired woman as she looked through the screens that showed the various rooms in the house.
"Yes..." Agreed the woman beside her who looked exactly the same sans the clothes.
Their gaze was focused solely on the fluffy brown haired boy walking beside their charge.
"Are we allowed to keep him?" asked the first one seriously as she took a sip of coffee.
"I'm pretty sure Byakuran-sama already plans to."
As if to confirm her statement, the white haired child on the screen hugged the brunet and turned to stick his tongue out at the camera.
A moment later the other boy also turned to the camera and gave a shy wave.
"We're keeping him," said the first Cervello, her tone brooking no arguments. That boy was just too adorable.
"Of course."
A/N: Just so you know, by appearances Byakuran's house, which is now located in a neighbourhood town, is quite normal, like Tsuna's.
