Jack turned enough to look at her. Elsa was so beautiful in the lighting of the breaking sun. He slowly got up out of bed and moved over to kiss her head, she jumped and turned to him. "Jack you're supposed to be resting." She yawned.
"You're so beautiful though. And tired. I've slept for three days, it's your turn. I'll keep an eye out. Elsa, go get some rest. I can sit in a chair and stare out the window." She smiled.
"Fine, but you have to wake me up if something happens." She said.
"I will baby, now go get some rest." She nods and crawls under the covers. He smiles at her and sits softly in the seat, it's a plush seat so Jack cozies right into it. He looks over at the cup of hot chocolate she had been drinking. He picks it up and starts making ice out of it, throwing little chunks out the window in boredom. For once he hoped he would be bored forever.
.oOo.
Bunny propped his feet up on the window. They just finished up a game of cards. He looked out the window.
"Pitch. Pitch is here. Let's go guys. JACK. TOOTH." Bunny yelled. "IT'S PLAY TIME."
.oOo.
Jack helped Elsa out of bed, letting a snowflake burst on her nose to wake her up.
"He's here." They both got up, and as they walked downstairs, Elsa put her hair into a tight braid.
.oOo.
They all lined up in the front lobby, Jack and Elsa's hands were covered in frost, Bunny had his boomerang in hand, North had swords in both hands and Sandy had sand whips in his hands. They were ready to finish this.
And so was Hans. His Night Mares were following his cloud of dark sand, they were as angry as him like always, but more so now that Elsa and Jack had managed to escape so easily. And alive. He reinforced the doors and walls with nightmare sand. That should have held them forever. But it didn't, and that really messed with Hans.
He went faster, heading for the place that all the good feelings was pulsating from, an abandoned castle in the middle of nowhere. It just had to be a castle.
.oOo.
"Jack you shouldn't be fighting." Elsa said softly.
"I am part of this fight. So I'm going to fight." Jack said quickly.
"Tooth ah Elsa ah...Sheila, we need all the help we can get. Jack is a neccessary." Bunny said. She lowered her stance and opened her mouth to speak to Jack, when a breeze flew through the room. They all turned around to see half the wall missing and Night Mare's everywhere, Hans at the front of the pack.
"Found you. Get them." They attacked quickly and angrily. Hoofs were in the air before they started coming down on the Guardians. Jack blasted them with frost, Elsa did the same, North slashed and slashed and slashed, Sandy whipped them into nothing, and Bunny was kicking and boomeranging the ones close to him.
The fight went on and on and on for however long before Hans joined, he went for Elsa. He made made a sword out of nightmare sand and began attacking her. In a fit of panic Elsa made a sword from ice and fought back.
Jack was surrounded. He swung his staff to no avail, he reached for the magic boosting plants in his pocket but they fell to the floor in his quick clumsiness. He was doomed.
One of the Mares got North from behind and he was on the ground, they were simply walking over him. He was down for the count.
Bunny's legs were tired. He went to kick another mare; but his jump was short a few inches. He fell to the floor and the Mares took their chance.
Sandy was down in a matter of seconds. The nightmare sand in the room almost devoured him, he was at the bottom of a pile of nightsand made from the night mares.
The tip of Elsa's sword hit the ground. She held her hands up and tried to make another. Tried. She kept shaking her hands, little sputters were coming out of her hands. She lost control of her ability. All control. She hadn't practiced it enough since she got them back. She was was a goner.
Jack looked up just as Hans wrapped a hand around her small neck and began to choke her. "Elsa!" He fought his way through the Mares but they kept coming back. "Elsa! Put her down! HANS PUT HER DOWN! ELSA!" He screamed in utter agony.
Elsa grasped at his hands, trying to pull them off but to no avail.
Hans had her blue when a light came in the huge front foyer doors. He stopped at looked at it, blinding him. The Mares stopped, giving Jack enough freedom to burst through them with his wind powers, over to Hans and grab Elsa. She coughed and coughed while he pulled her back. He took the chance while he could. He ran over and pulled North from the night Mares feet before the room dimmed. He looked up at the woman in the doorway. She had bright red hair, and a dress made of gold wrapped around her body. She had the skin of a Greek god, dark olive and tan. The only thing that caught his attention though, was the streak of white in her hair. "Manny Moon has sent me. Pitch Black is no longer needed to keep the balance." She put her hands in his direction and he dissapeared with a gold smoke into the air. And so did the night mares.
"Elsa." The girl ran to her, it didn't sound like she had any shoes on, like she was barefoot. The girl pulled her skirts up so she could sprint and it was clear she was barefooted. She leaned down to Elsa and hugged her.
"Ana. She's unconscious. What are you doing here?" She looked at Jack and around the room at everyone on the floor injured.
"We need to get everyone somewhere else. Somewhere clean. Somewhere not covered in nightmare sand." She sais standing.
.oOo.
Ana sat down next to Elsa. They had gotten everyone successfully patched up. North and Sandy were up and going, Bunny had a broken foot and Elsa. Elsa still hadn't woken up. It had been four days, and everyone was starting to worry.
Ana hadn't really been told by Manny to kill Hans. Manny was super mad at her. Turns out Ana was the Guardian of sunlight. She has lived on the sun since she died, and hadn't been able to escape since. When she saw Elsa in peril she broke her captivity and came to help.
Elsa was lost in her own dreams. Sometimes she would scream out, sometimes she would smile, but Sandy could never make her better or wake up.
Ana touched Elsa's face, as Jack watched pained in the corner. "Wake up, Elsa. Please." She sniffled. "We can build build a snowman! We can...we can...go ride bikes and do normal things. Elsa please. Don't give up. Elsa. Please. Please please. Wake up Elsa. Elsa please. This is not a medical problem, something else is hurting you. What could be doing this to you? Please." Ana asked desperately.
"She has nightmare sand in her blood."
