Hey everyone! This is chapter eleven of TJAOAP1: TR! Hope you enjoy~!
Amy47101 does not own pokémon or Witch and Wizard, which this story is loosely based off of. She only joins Jade and Onyx.
AUTHORS NOTE, SUPER IMPORTANT!
Buh-buh-buh-baaaaaaah! Music in this chapter. So, my good reviewers, the song is titled Back Home based off of Ass Back Home by Gym Class Heroes. This version, Back Home, is a acoustic cover done by Tyler Ward and Alex G. Really is beautiful.
If you don't own the song, then this wonderful author left you a little link to youtube. It's a TINY BIT staticy, but you can make out the music and singing clearly enough. Oh, and if you have your youtube volume turned up all the way, I HIGHLY SUGGEST you turn it down some, cause it gets a bit loud and may give you the shock of your life if you're a bit sleepy.
Here's the link!

You know the rules! No spaces between the address. Have fun jamming, and let the chapter begin!
Oh, and one more thing: in pokémon, I figure their currency "Poké" goes something like this: 200 Poké equals 1 American Dollar. So 50 would be a quarter, 20 would be a nickel, 40 would be a dime, and... two would be a penny.
Clear? Good!
Amy47101 does not own pokémon, Witch and Wizard, which this story is slightly based off of, or the Acoustic cover of Back Home. All rights go to nintendo, James Patterson, and Gym Class Heroes/Tyler Ward and Alex G. I only own Jade and Onyx.

Chapter 11
White fidgeted nervously under the immense oak tree in Red' backyard, trying to calm her nerves as she heard the crunching of gravel pass by the fence. She glanced around the trunk, catching Kristoff's dark brown hair and Andrews blond head as they walked by, dressed to the nines in their suits, talking among themselves as they walked along the fence.
It's always been like this with her. No matter what or who, it just hit her in the gut, who she could trust, who she couldn't, and if they had an act on, she always saw through it.
After all, she had been in the acting business for as long as she could remember. Even back when she was a small child, she recalled her mother gracefully dancing across the stage while her father was the mastermind behind brilliant plays and scripts. She wondered where she fell in. She could act, if she wanted to, but found that she wasn't exactly fond of it. While scripts would be fun, she had no reason to share one.
One that she'd willingly publish, after all.
She supposed seeing through acting was like second nature to her.
"So you'd think that would make me slightly better at battling." she muttered under her breath.
"White?" Black asked, coming up to her. "What're you going on about battling?"
"Eh?!" White mumbled. "Nothing! Nothing at all." she answered. "How long were you standing there?"
"Not long." he answered. "Kristoff and Andrew are here. Silver ran off to take a walk while Crystal walked out to go help Prof. Oak with something. Gold followed her, and Emerald followed him. Platinum wanted to 'experience and study the amazing wonders of the Viridian Forest where Senior Yellow's powers originated', so Pearl and Dia followed her while Sapph and Ruby led the way."
"Leaving the Red, Green, and Blue." White confirmed.
"Yeah, and I came out here to escape as well. Seems everyone's a little bit freaked out by the possibility of you being right about Kristoff and Andrew's trust. The tension is so thick you could practically see it."
"Well, I suppose it makes sense." White said. "Ever since the reunion, since Jade and Onyx showed up, everything has been just insanely crazy, you know?"
"And to think," Black laughed out as he plopped down next to her. "We thought that this was going to be some great adventure to a new region to meet amazing people." he paused, the stated the next part quietly. "Just when we most needed it too."
"Mm-hm." White mumbled, knowing that when he stated 'we', Black meant 'you'. And the you was her. "Well, it's not that bad." she stated. Black widened his eyes, looking at her. "I mean, I've got three new pokémon, right?" she smiled. "I named the Wurmple."
"Really? What'd you name it?"
"Claudia." White said, smiling. "Isn't it pretty?"
"Yup." Black responded. Silence fell between them.
"Speaking of which," White turned to face Black seriously. "Who's side are you on?"
"Eh?" Black responded simply. "What're you asking?" White rolled her eyes, letting out a sigh of irritation.
"I'm asking if, say, it was a life or death situation and we had to choose between Jade and Onyx or Andrew and Kristoff, who would you choose?"
"... That's a hard question." Black answered after a minute of musing. "From what I know, Jade and Onyx can totally handle themselves in a pinch, considering that they pulled off a kidnapping without a hitch as well as supposedly evading the police for... she said seven years, right?"
"I dunno. Something close to that number." White shrugged.
"I have yet to see anything from Kristoff and Andrew, so I'm not sure that this is a fair question."
"Speak hypothetically, then." White said.
"Well..." Black trailed off. "Hypothetically, while Jade and Onyx are capable, there's also the trust issue. Personally? I wouldn't trust 'em as far as I could throw 'em."
"I'm not so sure." White said. "I mean, if Jade and Onyx were really these big bad totally evil to the core sociopath or pyromaniac, wouldn't they have murdered us all or torched a building or something?"
"White..." Black turned, looking concerned. "You really can't trust every person who's nice to you. Look what happened with N and the ferris wheel."
"Jade being nice to me has nothing to do with this and this is nothing like that incident, so don't even think about comparing them." White snapped back. "I was practically sleeping when he brought me onto the ferris wheel."
"But White..." he paused for a moment. "Is it really that different?"

Blue glanced up from Green's laptop as Red's mother lead the detectives into the living room, which seemed to have become their meeting place. Blue almost immediately eased herself into a serious stance on the couch next to Green. He looked at her, then followed her gaze to the two detectives. He slowly shut his laptop, not sure how they would react to their sudden research in Jade and Onyx. Setting it off to the side, he glanced up at the detectives as Red's mom announced she was heading to the market to pick up some groceries, but would be back soon. Red sat down across from the detectives, who smiled at him.
"Where are the others?" Andrew asked.
"Out." Green answered simply.
"More searching! You aren't known as the dexholders for no reason, are you?" Kristoff praised. Blue shifted awkwardly.
"More like avoiding..." she thought dully.
"So, what did you find in Celadon and Saffron?" Red asked, going straight to the point, smartly avoiding the subject of their own findings. Kristoff smiled slightly.
"We have a lead." he announced proudly. "Or leads. We have video footage in Saffron City, where Jade stopped in a pokémon center to heal up her team."
"But we also have footage of a shady-looking character who's build resembles Onyx's shopping for groceries." Andrew said, folding his hands. "This was in Celedon."
"So they split up." Green stated. "Then maybe we should split up as well, one detective with each, Kanto Seniors with one, Johto Seniors with the other." Blue knew this tactic. Divide and conquer. Although she was honestly on the brink with who and who not to trust, she would admit she held a small grudge towards Jade for freezing herself and Green in a block of ice, but could also admit that the two detectives did could not be considered entirely trustful with the information they found.
It was a very confusing predicament to be in.
Regardless, the four men began discussing how and when would be a good time to begin their search. Red, of course, wanted to start right now, which she could understand, while Green, Kristoff, and Andrew argued that it would be best to wait until the next morning so they could begin their search at dawn till late at night. This, of course, sent Red into a flurry of anger as he accused them of wanting to leave Yellow in the hands of Jade and Onyx longer than necessary, which sent Kristoff into his own flurry of irritation of him accusing them of doing their job incorrectly when they had the police badges and they were the adults.
Green and Andrew sat stoically off to the side, neither trying to break up the fight since both knew their parters very well. They were stubborn and weren't going to stop till one was declared the winner. Blue crossed her arms, tapping her fingers impatiently as she waited for one of them let go of their stupid man pride so they could actually put a plan into action.
"U-Uh... Senior Blue?" she glanced up from the fighting and nearly passed out. Her jaw dropped to the floor as she stared at the small pokémon in White's arms.
"Oh my Arceus!" she squealed, snatching the eevee from White's arms. "Oh my Arceus!" Everyone snapped their attention to Blue, who cooed over the pokémon in her arms. White cast a sheepish grin at the others as Black sauntered into the living room, holding an Eevee.
"I was going to as why he was different colored." White stated, rubbing the back of her neck. "I mean, Black said Eevee's are usually tan in color, so..."
"It's a rare genetic mutation that takes place in one in every eight thousand, one hundred, and ninety-two pokémon." Green said, standing up to study the shiny eevee, whom stared stoically in response to his approach. Black snapped his head to White, pointing victoriously.
"Told ya! I knew Juniper briefly touched down on shinies back home!" Black exclaimed. White crossed her arms stubbornly.
"Don't blame me for being worried! I thought Kai was sick!"
"I've travelled to many different regions, and this is the second one I saw, the other being Silver's red gyrados." Green stated, casting a glance at Blue, whom was still cuddling the seemingly emotionless shiny. "Blue, don't think about trying to con White for that pokémon."
"Oh, I would never do that to my junior!" Blue exclaimed. "But if it was any other sucker of a trainer..." she giggled creepily, sending shivers up Black and White's spines.
"Where'd you find those little guys?" Red asked as Black passed the other Eevee to White. It immediately scrambled out of her arms and ducked into her thick ponytail, timidly peeking her head out at everyone else, ears folded back. "I mean, finding an Eevee in the wild is next to nothing, but finding a wild, shiny eevee..."
"Um, I didn't find Kai or Eve..." White mumbled, taking Kai back from Blue. She looked up at Red. "A traveling trainer stated that he didn't have the time to raise the two, and gave them to me."
"I wonder if he realized he gave a shiny away?" Green mused. White looked down, shifting her weight from foot to foot awkwardly.
"Probably not..." she trailed off, and it finally clicked in Blues mind. She turned to Kristoff and Andrew.
"I'm going to take Black and White to gather up the rest of the dexholders." she said, standing up. "I'm guessing you guys are going to continue to talk about us splitting up and searching through Saffron and Celedon. We'll be back soon to discuss strategy!"
With that, Blue walked out with White and Black shuffling out awkwardly. Once they were a good distance away from the house, walking towards Oak's lab, Blue stopped and turned around.
"You're a good actor, but you can't really beat a master." Blue said, placing her hands on her hips. "You got them from Jade, didn't you?" she asked immediately. White looked down for a moment, then looked back up her again.
"Yes." she stated confidently. "I received Kai and Eve from Jade. She said she didn't have the time to raise them and wanted a suitable trainer for them. After witnessing her strength and cunning last night with Red's battle, I am proud to say that she finds me a suitable trainer for these two Eevee's." Blue blinked, and then laughed slightly.
"I can't say a disagree with you." Blue said. "I mean, she is strong, so it must be a pretty big honor for you to receive not one, but two Eevee's from her, one being a shiny." she reached out and ruffled Eve's fur on her head. "But I suggest keeping them in their pokéballs. One Eevee is rare as it is, but two and a shiny?" she let out a low whistle.
"Alright." White said, pulling out her pokéballs and returning the two.
"And don't worry," Blue winked. "I won't tell a soul the mysterious someone whom you just happened to pass also happens to be the chick we're searching for."

Yellow shifted nervously as she watched Onyx hurry to and fro, packing things into his backpack. Near him was an acoustic guitar case and four buckets stacked within one another.
"Where'd you get the guitar, exactly?" she asked. Onyx turned and grinned.
"Magic!" he said happily, eyes shining like a little kids. Yellow sweatdropped.
Today, she noticed Onyx in new clothing. Instead of what he usually donned, he had on a white T-shirt with the same casual jeans and black shoes he usually wore, his chin length hair shoved into a beanie resting on his head while his bands protruded every which way like they normally did. Every once in a while, he would hum a tune under his breath, as if completely content while Yellow fiddled with the little tambourine in her hand, the instrument making a small racket with her constant movement.
"Yellow!" Jade barked from the bedroom. Nearly jumping in the air, Yellow answered.
"Y-Yes?"
"Quit it with that incessant noise! I'm beginning to get a headache!" immediately, Yellow dropped the tambourine.
"S-Sorry!" she exclaimed as Jade walked out of the room, attempting to pull her bangs and the rest of her hair into a high ponytail. She was wearing skinny jeans with knee-high converses, and a cute purple T-shirt depicting a shiny silver eevee listening to music through black, over the ear headphones. The ears were bent back, eyes closed, and smile content while black music notes drifted from from the headphones.
Giving up with pulling her bangs back- as they kept slipping through her fingers every time she attempted to do so- she simply shoved her goggles up onto her head, acting as a makeshift headband. She tossed a bag to Yellow.
"Go change, we need to leave soon." Yellow nodded, hurrying to the bathroom. "And I swear," Jade said after her. "If you come out with your hair in a ponytail-!"
"Calm down Jade, we're going to get to play music! Without the thought of getting arrested for even carrying a guitar!" Onyx laughed. Yellow blinked as she moved into the bedroom. Getting arrested for playing guitar? The only way she could think of someone getting arrested for playing a guitar was for maybe a noise disturbance. Multiple times. After multiple warnings. Onyx was talking as if the threat of arrest loomed over them twenty four seven!
She swallowed, shaking her head and digging through the bag. She pulled out some light blue shorts and a loose-fitting, baby pink sweater that fell off her one shoulder. She blinked, staring at the garment as she pulled the shorts on. She never much did wear pink, but supposed it was okay. She pulled on some socks, and almost instinctively, she reached for a hair tie to pull her hair in a ponytail, but remembered Jade's order, ahem, request to not put in a ponytail.
"To recognizable..." she muttered, deciding instead to clip her long hair up messily at the back of her head. She stepped out of the bathroom, going into the entryway to see Jade clipping her pokéballs to her belt and Onyx leaning lazily against the wall. Upon seeing Yellow, he grinned, tossing her some lace up hiking boots. Yellow looked down at the shoes, then looking back up a him.
"Good walking shoes, yup?" he asked, grinning. Yellow smiled slightly back, pulling them on and tying the laces tight. She turned to Jade, whom stood impatiently by the door, the acoustic guitar at her side while Onyx tucked the buckets under his arm.
"Are you sure we can leave Hope here?" Yellow asked. She saw Jade stiffen slightly, showing that she wasn't exactly keen on the plan, though she also knew that it wasn't the smartest thing to drag a sick pokémon around the city.
"She'll be fine, I'm sure." Jade said. "And we'll be back soon."
"Alright..." Yellow trailed off as they walked out the door. Locking their hotel room, they walked down the hallway, guitar case, buckets, and tambourine in hand, and entered the elevator. Yellow stared curiously at what she supposed was a camera. "I have a question." she stated.
"Then ask." Jade muttered.
"Well, we are on the run, right?"
"Stupid question." Jade responded. Yellow blinked.
"Um, I wasn't finished." she pointed up at the camera. "How come we haven't been caught yet? I mean, we've got private investigators on our tail, right?"
"Well, technically, we're considered 'terrorists'," Onyx lifted his free hand, putting air quotes around the word terrorists. "So in order to avoid public chaos, those detectives aren't going to go to the media. At least, not while they've got the dexholders under their belt. Maybe when your friends ditch 'em, we might get some media attention, but I doubt that they'll believe them."
"But what about the camera's? Wouldn't they have tracked us to here by now?"
"Eh? Well, to tell the truth, Jade has been traveling in between here and Saffron, stopping in places she'll know she'll be seen." he paused. "In Saffron. Just in case you needed clarity. And the camera's, well," Onyx snickered slightly. "This hotel has been having some technical difficulties as of late."
"Oh." silence filled the elevator until they stopped at the bottom floor. Quickly exiting, Onyx glanced around, shading his eyes with his free hand.
"Ah, a beautiful, sunny day, not a cloud in the sky!" he exclaimed happily. Jade grunted something under her breath, and Onyx grinned at her. "Now Jeido," he drew out Jade's alias, grinning like the cheshire cat. "I know you dislike the sun, but we need the money. Now let's goooooo~!"
Yellow laughed slightly as the seventeen-year-old pointed forward, walking into the crowd like a moron. Jade had her hand to her forehead, her hand slightly covering her eyes in frustration.
"What an embarrassment." she muttered.
"Onikisu!" Yellow exclaimed after him, using his alias. "Wait for us!"
"Of course, Kiiro!" Onyx laughed, jogging back to them. "I say lets go towards the fountain! Nice and cool for Jeido here, and a center of attention! We'll be making poké by the millions~!"
"I doubt the millions, but at least a good chunk." Jade mused as she hurried to catch up to Onyx near the fountain. He had set up some buckets. People stared curiously for a moment, then quickly shrugged it off, continuing on with their days. Onyx settled himself down on one of the buckets, another sitting in front of him.
"Well, sucks I couldn't bring my real drums, but this is good!" Onyx said, rubbing his hands together excitedly. "Improvising!"
"Hn." Jade responded, snapping open the guitar case and pulling out the acoustic instrument. This caught more stares of onlookers, and Yellow suddenly felt very nervous. People were staring! Jade left the case open, sitting on a bucket and resting the guitar on her knee, tuning it.
"Ja-Jeido, I-I'm not sure I can do this." Yellow muttered, trying to shrink into herself as she sat atop her own bucket. Jade scoffed.
"Calm down, you aren't even singing. You aren't even doing much of anything. All you're doing is sitting there, creating a beat with that tambourine when my guitar music speeds up."
"But what if I mess up?!"
"Then the show must go on." she answered bluntly, strumming a few notes, seemingly happy with the sound they made. "Ready, Onikisu?" Onyx nodded eagerly, as if he couldn't wait to start banging on his drums- er... bucket. "You remember the routine, right, Kiiro?"
"Play at the chorus, when you speed up." Yellow said, knowing right off the bat that the song started fast. Jade nodded.
"Good." she shifted a little, and began strumming. Almost immediately, the lyrics of the song flowed from her mouth, catching the attention of bystanders.
"I don't kno-o-o-o-w where you're going
Or when you're coming ho-o-o-o-me
I left the keys under the mat to our front door-or-or-or-or-or-or-or
For one more chance to hold you close
I don't kno-o-o-o-w where you're going
Just get yourself back home."
Jade immediately slowed her guitar music and Onyx slowed his hand drumming. Yellow stopped completely, watching as Onyx went into the first verse, he and Jade switching in between lines.
"We both knew this type of life
Didn't come with instructions,"
"So I'm trying to do my best to make something out of nothing,"
"And sometimes it gets downright shitty, in fact,"
"When I call and I don't even know what city I'm at,"
Both took a deep breath and launched into the next lines.
"Or what day of the week in the middle of the month,
In a year I don't recall.
It's like my life's on repeat and the last time we spoke,
I told you I wouldn't be long."
"That was last November now December's almost gone," Onyx sang, grinning. Jade closed her eyes and sang the next line.
"I'd apologize but I don't realize what I'm doing wrong," Yellow knew the next part. The chorus. She held her tambourine and began setting the beat as Jade and Onyx sped up their music.
"I don't kno-o-o-o-w where you're going,
Or when you're coming ho-o-o-o-me,
I left the keys under the mat to our front door-or-or-or-or-or-or,
For one more chance to hold you close,
I don't kno-o-o-o-w where you're going,
Just get yourself back home."
The music slowed again and Yellow watched as people stepped forward, tossing bills and coins into the guitar case as Onyx sang out the next lyrics, Jade, once again, switching between lines.
"And you been nothing but amazing,
And I will never take that for granted."
"Half these birds would've flew the coop,
But you truly understand it."
"And the fact you stood beside me,
Every time you heard some bogusness."
"You deserve a standing, o,
'Cause they'd a just been over it."
Like before, both took a deep breath, going into the next lines.
"Let em talk, let em talk, let em talk, let em talk,"
"Like we don't hear what they're saying," Jade sang, not shy at all.
"Let em walk, let em walk, let em walk, let em walk,"
"We'll just drive by and keep waving it," Onyx sang as he and Jade began switching between verses again.
"Cause you and I above all that,
Just let em wallow in it,"
"Now they're all choked up, yuck,
'Cause they be swallowing it."
Again, they entered the chorus.
"I don't kno-o-o-o-w where you're going,
Or when you're coming ho-o-o-o-me,
I left the keys under the mat to our front door-or-or-or-or-or-or,
For one more chance to hold you close,
I don't kno-o-o-w where you're going
Just get yourself back home."
The music slowed considerably again, slower than any point in the song. Jade took in a breath, and sang.
"Ah,
Oh,
Get yourself back home,
Get yourself back home,
Ah,"
The music, at this point, completely stopped. Jade continued singing, however, guitar pick poised over the strings.
"I don't kno-o-o-o-w where you're going..."
Suddenly, the music burst back to life, Yellow grinning slightly as Jade went into the chorus again.
"Or when you're coming ho-o-o-o-me,
I left the keys under the mat to our front door-or-or-or-or-or-or,
For one more chance to hold you close,
I don't kno-o-o-w where you're going,"
Onyx grinned as he and Jade finished off the song.
"Just get yourself back home."
There were a few claps and cheers while Onyx got up to see how much they earned. Yellow was grinning as the crowd dispersed.
"So?" Onyx asked, grinning. "Exhilarating, huh?"
"I didn't know you guys could sing that well, honestly!" Yellow complimented.
"Eh-heh-heh," Onyx chuckled. "It's a born talent."
"Obviously." Jade said. "How much we make? We're practically in the middle of rush hour..."
"Eight thousand(A/N: About forty dollars)!" Onyx announced. "Pretty good on the first performance!"
"Yeah." Yellow smiled. "How about for round two?"
"That's the spirit, Nii-" he trailed off as he widened his eyes as he stared at the crowd.
"Onikisu?" Jade asked, kneeling next to him. Onyx ducked his head down and whispered something under his breath. Jade's own eyes widened. Yellow caught Onyx mutter something.
"Maybe they haven't connected the dots yet..." Onyx muttered. Yellow glanced up, and felt her stomach jump to her throat. Her amber-yellow eyes connected with red ones at the edge of the crowd. She saw a blond hit a black haired boy for eating a rice ball, while a pretty, black-haired girl just sighed, as if used to it. A brunette girls eyes lit up at their performance, while another was shouting out his own opinion.
"HEY, THAT WAS GREA-!" his opinion was cut off as a brunette man placed as hand on his shoulder, cold eyes searing into her own, sending a shot of coldness up her spine.
"My juniors..." she muttered as she saw them beginning to push there way closer to them.
"Crap." Jade hissed, slipping on some sunglasses. Yellow wondered why she would do that since she can't see, but realized that it was to cover up the fact she couldn't see, Onyx swallowed.
"Act natural," he muttered, beginning to stack the buckets. Jade put the guitar away, snapping it closed. Red came upon them first, staring dead-straight at Yellow for a good thirty seconds. He knew. She could see it in his eyes, some strange sort of betrayal as he studied the trio. Yellow fidgeted under his gaze, and it took everything in her not to smile in recognition and tell him everything was okay.
"Senior Red?" Platinum asked. Yellow swallowed, keeping her gaze on the boots Jade and Onyx leant her.
"He knows," Yellow thought bitterly as silence seemed to surround them. She couldn't even look him in the eye, couldn't bring herself to meet those gorgeous red orbs that she so adored. As if to confirm his suspicions, he spoke the one word that, for once, she didn't want to hear coming from his lips.
"Yellow?" he asked slowly. "What's going on?"
